It’s good for the price
Easy to install if you know what your doing the water pressure not that great but does the job
Simple to fit, good quality and silent in use
This is a fantastic shower for 63.70 at the ti.e of ordering. This was the cheapest shower on Amazon for what we needed. I hadn’t heard of the brand before, but will now consider Bristan in the future.
The shower is quite streamlined and looks good fitted. It’s also a lot simpler than the big branded one it replaced, with no separate power switch needed on the front.
The 8.5kw shower pits out reasonably good pressure and is silent in use. I’ve kept my old shower head as it was fairly new and I did t need a new rail. It’s somewhat annoying that showers come with these as I’d rather just buy the shower unit by itself, but this is no different to other manufacturers.
The push fitting was not what I expected. I had a screw fitting on standard 15mm copper pipe previously. This was easily remedied by a trip to the local hardware superstore and the purchase of a brass pushfit converter for around 2. This tightened onto the existing pipe and converted it to pushfit. It’s so easy to then fit. I’ll only be getting pushfit showers in the future. They simply lift on and off the pipe by pushing the fitting back in, but have a secure waterproof seal.
Overall, I’m really pleased and can definitely recommend this.

If u had a bristan bliss previously this is an easy install
Only had it working a few days but works fine so far. It’s basic but that’s fine at this price. I got it because it is very similar to the bristan bliss which I was replacing, with the water inlet position and screw holes in exactly the same place, making installing a doddle & no need for more drilling.

Our 25 year old shower began to drip and needed replacing. I filtered for 4 stars and above and under 75 and it came up with this. My plumber said it wasn’t THAT easy to fit, because although it boasted left or right entry for the water, the power cable needed to be a certain way. The shower is efficient and what I like about it, is the fact that one can leave the temperature knob at a comfortable setting, and simply turn the water supply on or off – unlike my other one, where one got cold as the temperature control needed turning through cold to stop the water. I can’t recommend it enough, but we’ll see if it lasts 25 years!

Simple easy product that is worth the price
Easy to install, I remember back about 10yrs ago when I installed the shower we had, brass elbows white sealing tape, no end of fiddling about , but this is definitely a good shower it was a replacement for a 7.5wt , being we had our wiring updated we decided to go for the 9.5wt a little bit more constant and more reliable for the pressure.

We had to get this as my shower turned itself off as I was washing my hair. But I decided to get this. I’m glad I did. This is so fantastic. The shower head is wide it covers your head brilliantly. You just don’t want to get out.

Was brand loyal to Triton due to existing fitting, however had to buy 3 triton over 6 years and had enough.
This looking good so far and the fitting was ok without any real hassle

Great Value and Performance
An upgrade to a similar Bristan shower so fitting was really easy. However for the average DIY’er remember the electricity supply is usually 32-40 amp. This kind of supply can give a nasty shock if not fitted with care.
As for the shower – The box was damaged as described but the contents were absolutely fine. I would look at the ‘referbished’ type descriptions again to make a saving.
Enjoying shower time again!
This item is effective simplicity personified. Easy to install however check the entry points if you’re installing a replacement. It heats quickly and provides an abundance of warm water. I would purchase again.
I have been having trouble with my shower tripping out the breaker on my main domestic board. After carefully doing the maths, I discovered that my 9.5kw shower was drawing a few amps too much and to uprate the cabling and board would have cost a few hundred pounds so the cheapest option was to down rate my shower slightly. I researched the various Bristan versions and noticed that the vast majority have exactly the same size backing unit and hole positions so decided to buy this shower in the slightly lower 8.5kw version than my previous 9.5kw one. Being the same brand as the outgoing shower it fitted perfectly matching the plumbing and previously drilled holes so no major fitting to do. It slotted straight in and was up and running in just 15 minutes. Perfect. I now no longer have tripping issues and the shower performs well and should be enough for most households. Great buy.

Cracking shower would have preferred a copper compression tail for water connection otherwise performs well looks great for the price .

Not the most powerful shower but perfect for a second bathroom
We had this installed in our downstairs bathroom. There are more powerful models available but this was the most we could go to for the wires available. It works fine and is easy to use, it’s styling is simple and clean, and overall we are happy with this shower.

For being a value shower, it works really well. Easy to install. Initial fault which was sorted within days of reporting. Fantastic customer service from Bristan. polite and very efficient. This included the plumber who came to sort the issue. professional service all round.

A super shower. Not the most powerful but it is enough for us. It wasn’t very warm but when we checked the instructions there was a very easy way to increase the temperature.
very good price for quality item. i was replacing old Creda shower with this one and was encouraged by comments of easy to install however it was not that easy but prehaps it was because it was so different.Dont let this put you off though as its a reall good showe
Had this shower a few months now. Had it installed, so don’t know how tricky that process was, but this shower has surpassed expectations. It’s very quiet, heats up quickly, provides a glorious, even, refreshing shower. Chose this over the usual suspects because of its sleek, yet simple design and it hasn’t disappointed at all. We’re not talking power shower strength here, but wasn’t looking for a wasteful power shower, so this is more than enough.
The only quibble is with the eco setting which just seems to deliver tepid water, so not sure what that’s all about – maybe for people who prefer cooler/cold showers. Highly recommended though!

my husband hates diy but this item caused no distress
Last installed a shower about 25 years ago and remembered it to be a complete pain. Wow, how things have changed. One push on water connector, with a multitude of entry points possible and an electrical connection, which was just like wiring a plug. Had it all done in about 20 mins, of course this was swapping over from a broken shower, so the pipework etc was already there. I’m not a plumber, more a DIY bodger, but managed it easy.
Looks good in the bathroom and does what a shower should. Uncomplicated, cheap, and so far (3 months) still working perfectly.
Great value for a 9.5Kw shower. It features multiple options for water pipe entry and a large recess for the electric cable, hence positioning as a replacement unit is made easy. Additionally, the water connection is push fit so fuss free for a DIY’er.
Two very minor quibbles:-
1. Two of the holes for the wall fixing screws are within areas surrounded by mouldings and it’s not possible for anyone with normal size hands to present the screws up to the wall plugs. The screws provided aren’t a ferrous metal so the magnetised screwdriver trick didn’t work.
2. The support rail for the shower head only has a wall fixing aperture at one end. As I bought the shower as a replacement I left the old fitting in place.
