The Brother FS100WT is an electronic sewing and quilting machine featuring 100 stitches, perfect for dress making, home furnishings, free motion embroidery and quilting. It’s suitable for the advanced sewer, but also if you’re new to sewing and want a feature packed machine. It comes with an extra wide table and free motion embroidery foot. The Start/ Stop button and slide speed control enable you to control the machine with your hands. There’s a needle threader and a quick set drop in bobbin and an automatic bobbin winder. The 7 x 1 step button holes allow you to sew perfect button holes of different sizes, whilst the lettering allows you to add names or tags to your projects. Stitch length and width control make the machine even easier to use. An LED light means that you never need to replace it, and your threads are not discoloured by the yellow sheen of a traditional bulb.

The FS100WT features 100 stitches – including many utility stitches, plus lots of decorative to stitches to embellish projects. There’s also one lettering style so you can add names to projects and clothing.

Bought as an upgrade, very pleased so far. It’s smooth and quiet and had the features that I was looking for.
Have just started using sewing machine practising various stitches on machine, so far very impressed with what it can do, haven’t managed to work the self threading part yet.
Great machine for the price I paid which was a snip at 259 with over 100 of it.

I was using an old 90’s Brother machine for my baby clothes business, but finally decided it was time to go digital!
I took me ages to decide between this machine, the Singer 7470 and the 404 Quilters Edition, mainly because I wanted to use an alphabet stitch. They were all similarly priced in a sale. I read poor reviews on the Singer’s alpha stitch, and the 404’s didn’t sound so good but had plenty of extras (luckily it went up in price as I was planning to buy it) . However, I finally chose the Brother for the designs and extension table, plus the alphabet stitch is pretty decent, despite one font and one size (photo attached).
The other decorative stitches are nice, and the machine sews beautifully, and is pretty quiet for the most part.
Top loading bobbin makes life easier, but unfortunately tension is not auto and still no joy with the auto needle threader…haha. Absolutely love sewing with this machine, highly recommend it!

First digital sewing machine I have owned but much better than my old mechanical ones. I’m not too fussed about the ‘easy threader’ but love the top loading bobbin. It’s lighter than my old machine and comes with a dvd which is useful to help set up
Amazing machine, great with quilting and regular sewing. Only down side for me is that the lettering is small – no way of altering the size, but the other designs and stitches are fantastic. Easy and quick to thread, winds bobbins up with ease and can be used with foot peddle or on/off switch. Great machine and glad I invested in Brother.

I got this machine using split payments through Amazon and it was great to spread the cost. the machine itself is wonderful. It is so easy to operate and if you have previous knowledge of sewing machines its a great next step up from entry level machines, with all the stitches you could possibly want/need. I would not recommend for heavy duty sewing such as for bag making where you are sewing through PU leather or similar but as an embroidery machine it excels! I use it for free motion embroidery, quilting (both for the patchwork and the quilting of the finished quilt), and even have done garment sewing on it. I would recommend, even at full price.

– plus silencieuse et plus stable que les autres machines essayes dans cette gamme de prix et d’autres marques
– bonne paisseur de tissu (ok pour les jeans pais)
– prcision/rgularit des points (nombreux…)
– boutonnire en 1 passe
– coque de protection rigide !
A good all round machine which does an array of stitching! My only downfall is that the threading up on it is not plain sailing as my other sewing machine… I also thought that the thread holder seems a bit flimsy ..
This is not a bad machine but there are a few things I’m not too keen on such as the buttonholing which isn’t good enough as it doesn’t seem to seal the buttonholes properly so I have had to revert to my old manual machine.

Bought this about 2 months ago as a follow on machine from my very basic machine and it is fantastic. I just love the smoothness, needle threading and ease of use. I struggle with a foot pedal so using a button is excellent. My only criticism is the case, rubbish fit and dont make the mistake ofremoving the polystyrene in the case, it’s supposed to be there. Really great machine
it made my wife very happy she as always wanted a sewing machine of this quality and she is over the moon with it.

I’m an absolute beginner at sewing and bought this machine when it was on sale for 219.99 instead of buying a cheaper model with less features. It is a great machine and is really easy to load, work and pack away. I wish it came with a carry case but the dust cover does a wonderful job all the same.

Wish I hadn’t procrastinated for so long
Had this machine for just under four years, the last year it has been noisy, very clanky and thuddy. This weekend it ground to a halt. The inner arm mechanisms are made of plastic and they have ground away over the years and on my last project warmed up and caused the machine to totally freeze. Will cost to much to repair so will end up as landfill 🙁 if you want a good machine for a few years this is for you, if you can do a few hundred pounds more upgrade. Overall I have been very happy with the machine, it has helped me to create some beautiful outfits.
Premire machine coudre et pas du. Tout est expliqu pour une bonne utilisation, trs lgre et ne fait pas beaucoup de bruit.

This is my second Brother machine. I compared many other machines before returning to brother. I have upgraded my old one which has served me well for many years and made many quilting projects. However compared to this new edition it seems like a tank. I have familiarity but this is lighter quicker and has many added features to stimulate my creativity. Very happy and cannot wait to begin my next project. Excellent value for money.

Having worked in the textile industry, I have sewn on and off all my life with all kinds of sewing machines,
Now I mainly do mixed media textile artwork, needlefelting, appliqu and freemotion embroidery,
It is such a versatile machine, easy threading and bobbin change, so easy to use,
The only thing is the light, I think it could be a lot brighter and I wouldn’t have needed to use an extra clip on light to assist me.
Otherwise I would highly recommend this machine.

A very to use sewing machine with most of the stiches built in.
Top loaders are so much better than front loader bobbins it allows you to see how much thread you have left. This has easy rewind.
It would recommend this machine, I previously bought another machine that I returned and it cost a lot more and this machine is far superior and offers far more stiches.
This machine is a great buy, it was much more expensive on other sites well done to Amazon.
The Brother FS100WT is a computerised machine. It is quite good to be able to see the stitch selection, length and width on the screen. The number of stitches is a massive plus for me – 99 regular and decorative stitches and 55 character stitches.
The machine is very sturdy. The tension is right and the threading works perfectly. I have used it to sew light and heavy fabrics and I have been pleased with the results every time.
The instruction booklet and DVD are tremendously useful. They provide a very clear explanatory guide on the different stitches and different machine accessories. Speaking of accessories, the range provided along with the machine is really nice to have. The sturdy cover provided is great for protecting the machine from dust, etc.
To anyone in my situation who is thinking of taking up sewing I would like to say I find my new pastime highly rewarding and not near as time consuming or difficult as I thought it would be, and it might be worth while stretching your budget for a slightly better equipped machine such as this one if possible.
I would highly recommend this product.
I find it easy to use and the letter embroidery works very well.It is also nice and light.
The hard case it comes with was a nice surprise as I hadn’t realised it came with one – however, it is a poor fit and trying to carry the machine with the case, with your fingers through the carry slot at the back, feels very awkward with a case that doesn’t fit snugly. I think I will switch to a sewing machine bag instead, which feels wrong when it is supposed to have a hard cover.
I like the automatic needed threader, but it can take several attempts for it to catch the thread to pull it through the needed. Because of that and the bad design/fit of the cover, I am giving it 4 rather than 5 stars.
I really like this machine . I bought a Husqvarna machine (similar spec) less than a year prior to purchasing this machine and my brother is definately the machine of choice. Never know if its me but I always seem to battle with my sewing machines – this one is coping with me nicely so far !
Great machine, countless functions, easy to thread, wife loves it. Got it in a flash sale at a fraction of the retail price.

I will update my review as my new found skills grow and I get more out of this machine but so far, I’m pleased with my purchase.
