Great game i used to play it when i was younger and it’s still good now.
Great little game, but needs some updating on gender roles!!
This is a great, cheap little game- good for taking out and about as it’s small and easy to play! Great classic card game. However- I couldn’t get over how this hasn’t been update yet. It’s still all ‘Mr main man’ (police officer, baker etc) and ‘his wife’. Not great for teaching young girls of today they can be anything they choose and work for job wise. But- a great way to start a conversation starter with kids about jobs/ careers and thankfully how much things have changed, and hopefully continue to do so 🙂

These are quality cards with precise edges. The people are printed very clearly and are in full colour. Each family has its own background colour to help quickly identify them which is great when you are playing with a young child that is just starting to read and cannot yet read the family names.

The cards are decent card, but I plan to laminate them to make them stronger and easier to clean.

Updated family groups . My Grandson, is still a little too young to understand how to play this game , but we used it in a different way, by asking him to identify certain items on the cards to help match up the famies

Our Grandchildren have really loved this game. This version is easy for younger children to play as the individual families have a specific colour on the background so they are easier to pick out when they are beginning to read.

The illustrations on the cards are perfect for young children to easily identify. The game is great fun to play with a mixture of adults and children interacting with each other.

Cannot beat the old games kept all of us good on a long car journey
The card game is fine and as expected – once it eventually arrived. With delivery taking much longer than suggested and no less than 3 emails to try and find out where it was and when it was going to be delivered, patience was certainly tested!

Even a 5year old can do it!
The lad received it for his 6th birthday and almost immediately began to assemble it. He got up a 5am the following morning and badgered his Dad to help him with it. However, after all the project had been completed, it has now gone to the back of the cupboard. Well packed and quick delivery.

I brought this because I prefer children to play card games instead of on the computer or DS. I wish it was like the old cards, Mr Baker, Mr Policeman, Mr Butcher. Though I suppose with not sterotyping then they have to change the characters.

an old favorite we played this at the children’s grandparents, had to buy it for home as well, excellent for a quick family game, the trouble is you won’t just want to play one or two games.
