After extensive research and watch window shopping I came across this beauty. I was nervous when I had purchased it as I though maybe the watch face would be too small or it would not suit me at all. Was I wrong or was I wrong. The watch is amazing. It’s simple yet with complex functions that will rival extravicant watches. After a few days use, I can easily say Casio has become my faviourate watch brand. I don’t really write reviews and am a avid buyer on amazon. But I thought I’d share my joy. And maybe make someone else happy.
For a small watch it looks almost comical on a male wrist even my small wrist due to it’s petite size although it still has an amazing amount of wrist presence. The fake tacky gold against the black coated stainless steel strap and negative display pops, obviously the negative display is used for looks as opposed legibility but it’s not unlegible in bright light rather than a dimly lit room where you may struggle to see the digits, that’s always a negative with this type of display, however the display really adds to the overall appearance of the watch and I think is worth the trade off.
I paid 46.40 for this watch that functionally dose no more than an 8.00 Casio. To me it was worth it simply because I liked the blingy, tacky retro look. This is not just a man / boys watch, ladies / girls could wear this as well not just because the strap is adjustable but it wouldn’t look out of place on a feminine / youth’s wrist.
This watch is a modern day work of Casio digital bling art.

Good and cheap – got it for my daughter 8yrs ago – still works 100% ok
…as this watch costs 50 in most jewellers. The main body of the watch is shiny gold and plastic and the strap is a brushed matt gold steel but it looks ok. Doesn’t come in a retail box, comes in a soft flat pouch.
Modern classic.
Gets positive comments all the time. Yes, everyone knows it’s a cheap digital. Yes, a lot of people love it.

Great little watch. suitable for all ages of people, trendy retro look definitely suits most people. adjustable strap so you dont need to go to a watch shop to have links removed. Amazing price, the exact watch is 60 on official casio website but 30 here. The only minor fault ive noticed after wearing the watch for 48 hours is that once the strap is adjusted to preferred size, it seems to become loose after a little while, not sure if thats just me but not a massive deal. Certainly give this a purchase, it wont dissappoint.

Timeless piece
Retro, classic, you name it! Great watch and reliable. Smart looking for both genders and will suit many outfits. Loving the golden face espcially while many similar Casio watch have the black face. The gold colour is also fab! Strap can be easily adjusted which probably save you 5-15 for adjusting it in a shop(my wrist is small, always have to adjust the strap of a new watch). For a fair price(cheap even), you get all of the above plus all the basic functions like stop watch, alarm and light, what is it not to love?
Retro
This watch is exactly what I expected – It’s not too heavy, not too bulky and keeps things simple! The display is easy to read in both natural and artificial light and if neither of those are available, the backlight glows in a pleasing greenish-blue at the press of a button. The build quality is of the standard you would expect from Casio – No Rolex but still a piece of precision engineering. The clasp snaps reassuringly tightly and it is easy to adjust the size to fit. That said, it probably wouldn’t fit someone with very large wrists.

Brilliant little watch, the watch us plastic not metal (and obviously not real gold) but it’s a durable plastic. I was not keen on the stap clasp to begin with, how we it has grown on me and the ability to change its length without removing any links is a very nice little touch. This is my work watch ATM, looks good but is not valuable or overly flashy. And as always CASIO maintain their high standard.

Had this a few years now still going strong only complaint is that the band is quite sharp, if it rides up your arm due to clothing etc it digs in, people tend to notice it and sometimes take the pee but I quite like that it stands out even if it does look a bit “Del Boy”

I got one of these as a gift a couple of years ago from my sister and it’s a cool little watch. Typical casio build (cheap and cheerful but built to last!). My lad decided he wanted a “gold watch” so has been gifted one of thes for doing so well in his SAT’s! He loves it and his mates have complimented too. On top of this I saw Idris Elba wearing one on the TV. So a watch for all, kids, retro loving 30+ year olds and celebs!

These little casio's are great reliable watches
These little casio’s are great reliable watches, very similar to how they looked in the 80’s & 90’s. The Luminance light makes a lot easier to see rather than the usual side light which is’nt much cop to be honest. Good time keeping, seconds, date, alarm timer, all you need really, it does what it does at an very economical price. The watch is well made, well packaged in the proper casio box with manual & arrived very quickly, very pleased.

I bought for my dad and he really loves it.
I’m a female and purchased the men’s version of this watch. Since previously, I’ve had the women s version, but i did like the fact it had more settings on the men’s version. it would have been great if they put those settings on the female version! Great value for money and great packaging from amazon as usual. Always spot on with providing excellent service to their customers.
However, this was very big, I mean MASSIVE for a female wrist. Though some women’s can pull off the men version, and i guess I wasn’t able to. I was still considering weather, to keep it or not, weather I might change my mind. So, sadly I did return the product for the female version. Though i think it looks great on male and females even though this is aimed at the men. Its a shame they dont put the same settings for the female watches too. If I had bigger hand then maybe it would have looked fine, but i would totally recommend other people to buy this as its such a classic, and not a lot of people have them.

Exactly What I Wanted!
I’ve wanted one of these for ages and deliberately bought the men’s version because I like bigger watches. It’s easy to read and use all the functions and looks nice on the wrist. It’s quite a lightweight watch and some people view this as poor quality, but personally, I think it’s what you can expect from a traditional digital watch in this price bracket. Very pleased.

The item came in a very nice packaging and just like the previous Casio watches I had, feels premium and durable.
First I was worried if the watch would be “too gold” as in very bold, not very much my style, too much bling kind of thing. However the finish has a brushed kind of look on the strap and does not make it look too flashy. Has a very modest and comfortable design.
The strap was surprisingly easy to adjust by myself therefore it would make a great gift for any size of wrists. It uses a sliding hinge therefore you can adjust it perfectly to your comfort in seconds.
The display is very nice and has a retro look to it which I love. It was very easy to set up following the instructions of the booklet.
As I am very much pleased with this watch I ordered the ladies version of it for my best friend’s birthday and she loves it too.
