Great watch , study and waterproof like all G-Shocks slight down side is the digital screens aren’t that easy to read but it’s the only down side with it ! Apart from that it’s a brilliant watch .

I’m a big guy and most watches look small on me but this was a perfect fit. Easy to set up (I’ve had gshocks before and got lost with all the functions of other models) and easy to read hands at night when I use the light. A good buy and definitely worth the investment.

I like it most g-shock it’s so good and the quality is long term to use..

Lovely watch as with all G shocks ! The only trouble is the hands are not luminous but the numbers are ! Makes it impossible to see the time in the dark ! You have to rely on the light button which is a shame !

Really amazing watch. So far I am very happy with the watch. It looks great and feels great when wearing. Setting up the time was a bit more difficult but reading the instructions for a second time helped.
Feels really great on the wrist. Not too tight not too loose. It’s fairly easy to read from the negative display when outside, inside slightly less visible but still visible.
Weight is really good! Not feeling cheap like a replica and not too heavy in the wrist, just perfect.
Also, the experience of some users reporting that the watch gets dirty over time i can say for me is not the case. Mine is still as white as on the day I got it.

Perfect red with a satin matt finish. Lightweight & comfortable. I am blessed with 9 inches (of wrist size) & it fits on the last pair of holes but looks aok in the hasp & a millimeter of strap still comes through after the securing band is pulled round. Very easy to set up, the easiest Casio I have in fact. Bright silver digits in black LCD displays are perfect. One tiny issue, the hour hand is red with the minute hand white & this makes for a little extra looking to spot it. Only the red does this by the looks of other colours I have looked at.

Managed to grab the red one for just under 46 which I think is a bargain. These are regularly priced between 65 and 110 online at the moment. Bear in mind that this is a fairly old model so it’s worth looking to get this for the best price as there are new g shocks with better features such as solar power and atomic clock syncing etc for similar prices.
Let’s get the cons out of the way first. Visibility isn’t great as some reviews have said, the LCD’s are difficult to see in anything other than good daylight conditions. The red hour hand also makes it difficult to pick up the time unless the light is good and the backlight in the dark doesn’t really help that much. You can’t see the LCD’s when it’s dark at all.
This isn’t so much a con but you need to know that this is a big watch so for smaller people or those with a small wrist, you might look like you’re wearing a Lifebuoy ring on your wrist.
Now for the pros. This is a watch to be worn and worn out in testing conditions. Buy this, do whatever you like wearing it and you’ll probably never break it. This is it’s main selling point in my opinion. It has pretty much all of the features you could need for day to day use, time, auto calendar, world time, stopwatch with lap and split, speed calculator, countdown timer with repeat, multiple alarms with snooze.
I think this makes a great every day work or exercise watch that you can throw on or off as you need, knowing that you’re only going to have to check and update the time once a month or so and change the battery every two years.
Some people have commented that this is difficult to set and operate but this isn’t the case. My tip here is to ignore the instruction booklet and do a quick YouTube search of the model number and you’ll have it set up in a minute or two without any fuss at all.
There are also some reviews saying this is a fake but there’s nothing to indicate that it is fake at all. The auto light feature works perfectly, something which I’m told doesn’t work with a fake g shock. Also, on lots of fake versions of this model, the top left LCD wheel is split into three segments, whereas on the real watch (and on mine) all four segments are present and correct and all work exactly as they should. Another common issue with fakes is that the needle in the top middle window is stuck at the twelve o’clock position, whereas on this watch the needle is set by default to zero and works perfectly when the stopwatch or speed calculator is used, resetting back to zero exactly as it should. So I’d say buy with confidence.
If you’re interested, keep your eye on the price of this and other g shocks as they occasionally fluctuate and you may well be able to grab this at a better price if you sit tight.

This watch was bought to meet some key needs. And to be honest it does what I wanted, as with all the Casio watches I have owned it is simple to use and has at least one function that I will never need.
I wanted a watch that would put a smile on my face and tell me the time and date. I also wanted all the alarm functions. This watch also comes with Casio scroll through functions which I prefer to other brands I have tried. Once you know the order they go in stop watch, count down timer….it is easy to quickly find the function you want. The count down timer function has a nice feature that allows you to put the timer on repeat.
The main weakness of this watch is the hour hand, yes it is red but it does not work in low light conditions, or with the light function. Colour fades to dirty black
I love this watch only within a couple of times wearing the watch the red resin has started to turn a dirty black colour.
So I have a brilliant dirty watch which I’m not happy about.

I purchased this watch as a present and my other half loved it. It is a classic but lovely Casio watch. The colour red is gorgeous and it’s worth the price. It came in a nice metallic Casio case and it was pretty easy to set up and use.

I bought the White version of this watch and it is very eye catching. I also wear a medical wristband so I find the watch does draw attention to it (because they are both white).
For the size of it, it is really light on my wrist. There’s not much else to say, oh it tells the time really good 🙂
