I thought they were pricey but I got the sizes I wanted and I wanted Circulon specifically. You won’t be disappointed with the pans – they claim the lid handles don’t get hot. This depends on how long you have the pan on the heat for (and possibly which type of hob you use them on) – I’ve found that gentle simmering on a ceramic hob for about an hour and they won’t get hot, longer and they do get hot. Best part about the lid is the design, take it off the pan and it will stand on the handle without falling over, clever! Very happy purchase, arrived really well packaged.

Pans are extremely well made and sturdy as I would expect from Circulon. I have reservations about the ridged bottom on the frying pans. I seasoned all the pots as instructed but trying to fry an egg in one of the frying pans was a disaster. White dropped through the ridges and was extremely difficult to remove from the pan. Ended up a real mess with egg white left behind. It may be because I’m not used to cooking with them yet. I’m keeping my old frying pans! Pots are not unreasonably heavy but the lids are very sturdy. The fancy handles on the lids certainly don’t get hot but it makes lids difficult to store. I like the fact that the large frying pan has a lid. Mine are hanging on a rack. Given the cost involved I’m hoping I get used to them soon. I will update this review after I have had more time to get used to cooking with the pots and pans.

This pan has a nice weight to it, not too heavy but lovely and sturdy. I’ve used it countless times now and the non stick is superb! The heat distribution is fab and cooks the food perfectly. It’s so easy to clean and leaves no residue. I love this pan so much I’m going to get the whole set!

Have been a fan of circulon for years. These are excellent, work brilliantly on an induction hob and are truly beautiful – the handles are particularly good. Have had my eye on these for a while but didn’t want to pay over 200 for them so the price here was so good compared to John Lewis et al that I bought them instantly!

This is a quality pan that will no doubt outlive many cheap lesser quality pans and is therefor an investment. It heats up fast and evenly.

The pans base does have circular grooves on the inside. These distribute the heat evenly. However it is best to wash this pan straight after use otherwise food gets dried in between these gaps and is stubborn to remove. I would also suggest that for eggs to put enough oil in to overflow these grooves, otherwise the egg may be difficult to remove. It leaves little lines on some foods, almost like a grill effect, so would be ideal for steaks.

To summarise this is a pan that is built to last, heats evenly and fast. The quality is nothing less than impressive. A true investment. However it is grooved in a circular motion on the inside and some may prefer a flat pan.

My first go with this small frying pan was not very successful. I fried an egg and annihilated it. It cleaned up very easily and I had another go with a slightly lower temperature. This time it was dead on with the egg cooked just how Like it. My mistake was using the same heat as my larger, thicker pan.

The small size is convenient if cooking for one. I find that I don’t need much oil and the grooves seem to help keep an even spread around the base with no pooling..

Heat distribution is even, but I would expect this to be the case given the small size. Some experimentation has been required sussing out optimal heat levels compared to my other pans.

Being able to use use metal utensils and stick it in a hot oven is nice.

Overall I will say this is a decent pan and I will continue to use it for as long as it lasts.

When ordered this it was listed at about 50 quid which I thought was a little on the high side – now it seems to be only available only in a set with a larger pan for about 60 – which is better value if you would use both.

I got this as i love cooking

Amazing value. Well made and durable and sturdy, it is on the heavy side but to be honest I don’t mind that so much. A solid base makes these pans perfect for an induction hob. I’ve had it a few weeks and used it quite a bit, it’s not showing any signs of wear, no discolouration of the non-stick surface, no warping, no scratches. I have used it to do a stir fry and steaks without issues. It cleans really easily so no need to use harsh cleaning pads. I hope it stays this good

    Over all highly recommended.

Excellent quality 22 cm diameter (8.75″) deep fry pan. It has a non stick inner with a raised circular inner base, ideal for creating lines on meat, fish or vegetables. It works on my son’s new induction hob very well and on my Rangemaster gas hob too. It has a thick stainless base and a stainless steel handle that stays cool. It’s dishwasher safe and can go into the oven up to 260 degrees Celsius (500 degrees Fahrenheit). It looks very well made as you’d expect from the long established company Meyer, Circulon is well designed a lifetime guarantee on their nonstick inner. I highly recommend this pan if you want a deep medium sized pan that will last.

I only received one, not a pair, but that doesn’t change my opinion of the product. It is a beautiful frying pan. It is thick and heavy but not uncomfortably so. The design of the handle is just right. The induction surface works very well (unlike some induction cookware).

Despite the lifetime guarantee, which is slightly dubious as it isn’t registered, I limit myself to using plastic and wooden implements with it as I think metal will make the nonstick surface wear out.

Overall, it’s a good product in my view, even at the price, if your budget extends that far.

Wow.just WOW! I start to wonder if I’m getting old when I get THIS excited over a frying pan!? But you have to use it to appreciate it, but the moment you take receipt of this you notice the weight and the “heft” of the pan.
I went for a small (22cm diameter) frying pan as there’s only my wife & I and when I fry a couple of steaks they always seem ridiculous in a large frying pan. I did a couple of pork loin steaks and they cooked beautifully. The heat appeared to be evenly distributed and I found I could reduce the cooking time by several minutes to achieve the desired results. I then went on to make a sauce for them and again, cooked quickly & perfectly.
Additionally it was easy to clean and rinsed out almost perfectly first attempt.
There’s an old saying “You get what you pay for” and nothing is more true than in this case. Despite the initially seeming high price point, trust me-if you do lot of cooking invest in a set of these pans or at the very least just a good decent frying pan! Excellent cookware. 5 stars all day long

    Stunning pan!

A brilliant nonstick frying pan that is heavy and feels extremely good quality. This frying pan is perfect for pretty much all frying needs. There is a heavy pan though so keep that in mind if you are looking for a lightweight pan that is easy on the wrist. It is solid pan with a heavy base that can be easily washed and so far nothing has stuck to it. Good quality and the perfect size that I would highly recommend

This is one of the best frying pans I have ever used. The steal peaks help to protect the non-stick coating. The Pan is very durable. It oozes attention to detail. On smooth pans, oil tends to collect in one area if the pan is slightly tilted. With this is one oil collects between the steal picks leading to an even distribution of oil.

The versatility in terms of hob compatibility is very good, it is even compatible with Induction hobs. I like that it is deep compared to most pans, so less messy from oil splatter while frying since the pan walls are relatively higher.
