Troubleshooting Guide
- Problem 1: The collar sprays, but the dog keeps barking.
Check to make sure the Spray Nozzle points towards the dog’s snout. Make sure your dog’s hair does not block the spray path. If so, please trim the hair so the spray can reach the snout area.
- Problem 2: The LED light flashes Red light to indicate low power very quickly.
The unit has been left turned on between training sessions. Make sure the Spray Collar is turned off after use. You are training in very cold weather.
- Problem 3: The spray leaks out around Refill Port when you try to refill citronella spray.
Hold the spray can upright. If it is held at an angle, it will not create a good seal. Press firmly on the spray can to create a good seal.
- Problem 4: There’s no spray from the collar after several time sprays. It seems not to work anymore.
We recommend you should refill the collar with spray before each use.

The problems can be solved
- Make sure the collar is Not Too Tight to prevent excessive pressure. Two fingers must fit between the collar belt and your dog’s neck.
- Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 8 hours out of every 24 hours.
- Do not use the collar on a dog under 6 months of old.
- Examine the contact area daily for signs of a rash or a sore. Brushing the coat daily may help.
- Shortening the dog’s long hair or it would decrease the efficiency of spraying.
- Your baby cannot fall asleep due to barking.
- The dog is barking to disturbs the neighbors or guests.
- The barking doesn’t let you relax at the picnic or while walking in the park.

The product is excellent. I was expecting more of a spray. Not a high enough spray to deter my dog for long period.
Have a tapper and it works great for him and he smells good. Great product. Would totally recommend.
This product worked great on our 60 lb Labrador Retriever. She only needed in on for about 15 min before she understood that less barking was being asked for. After that when she started to bark excessively, we just held out the bark collar for her to smell and she stopped barking. She doesn’t have to wear the collar after the initial time. This prevents her from getting acclimated to the smell of citronella.

I’m not one to leave reviews but in this case I felt it my duty to help the dog owner population.
I spent a small fortune on several humane collars and devices to stop my dog from barking at everything and everyone but nothing I tried worked for my dog.
In desperation I googled what is the best thing out there for a barking dog and one of the first things listed was a citronella spray collar. I’d never heard of such a thing, so I researched and bought it.
It’s now been about two months and this product is amazing! At first he got a little sad because it kept spraying him but after a day he got with the program and seems much happier and calmer now.
Sometimes he’ll test it out and he stops his bark mid stream… hilarious!

It is easy to use, safe, and stops the dog from barking. When my dog wears the collar he is able to meet other dogs which is all he wants to do anyway. I don’t use it all the time, but I will use it when I see a dog approaching with whom we have had trouble socializing. We are also able to use it in the backyard to arrest the barking.
This thing truly works. Living the apartment life can be annoying sometimes. Having an animal always comes with some kind of drama from the neighbors. Usually it’s the grandma or anti social neighbors who complain about the smallest noises, clanks, and farts. Thus our need for this product!
We got a new puppy and she use to bark whenever we left the room, or stepped outside for anything. After using it about a couple of weeks or less we actually noticed a difference in her behavior. She doesn’t mind the smell or whine with it on which is good. It’s now been 2 months and she does not bark inside at all unless we really get her excited on purpose. However that is without needing to wear the collar seems like once she learned we didn’t need to put in as as much. Would definitely recommend this product 🙂

There’s no other collar like this one! In the past, I used high-protein treats and a squirt gun to train my dog not to bark. But my response time was never fast enough. I’ve only had the collar for one week and my dog already understands that she shouldn’t bark. I reward my dog with a treat every time she does not bark while on a walk! I love the battery life, mine came precharged – so I was able to start using it right away. A few customers reported that they have to re-fill the spray frequently. Personally, I don’t think that’s a big deal. Whenever I put the collar on my dog, I refill it. After about 4 days, I no longer need to fill it since my dog has stopped barking. I also purchased an unscented spray. Although I love the citronella, my dog may be allergic. It’s the best $10 I’ve ever spent and it works just as well. 10/10 Highly recommend! For reference I have a mini AussieDoodle about 14lbs, as you can tell in the video, the collar doesn’t look too big on her!

I love the fact that it does not hurt my dog. Another one I tried had prongs and left raw marks on pups neck. The smell is enough to stop the barking. Now when I put it on him he doesn’t even start.

I was very sceptical about using a product to help me manage my dog’s barking, but this has proved to be a life saver. I have had it for two weeks now and my life (and that of my neighbours) has been normalised. My dog is very comfortable wearing it, he is happy having it put on. I’m just so pleased to have found this.
This has been working to get my dog to stop barking when on leash. He has learned quickly as he doesn’t like the spray. The battery life lasts a long time which is great and super easy to use and refill. The only downfall is if another dog barks close by it will go off even with him not barking. Overall it has worked for my dog.
We bought this for our 12 pound Pomeranian as he likes to bark! We had a beep and vibrate collar that worked for a few weeks, but no longer worked for him as it started to confuse him. This collar works great and is silent and seems comfy on him! I was worried our house would smell too much like citronella but it does not at all!

Product is very simple to use. It worked when my dog was barking, but might benefit from being more sensitive to whining. Would also be great to have a counter on the collar to know how many times it sprayed (especially if we put the collar on when we leave home).
overall pleased with the collar. it works! find it difficult to know when it is time to refill- would be great to have an indicator of some sort. also, we could never get it to spray by barking at it, the way instructions suggest. it does work when the dog barks though, so that’s what counts.
Finally an anti-bark device that actually works. Our little dog is a sweet guy, but his bark is penetrating and super annoying. We’ve tried different ways and devices to get him to stop, but nothing worked.
Until now…he clearly dislikes the scent of the spray, and caught on very quickly that his bark is what triggers it. He’s wearing it rather loosely but it works just fine. It’s been wonderfully quiet since we have the collar! Highly recommended!
Only been on for a few hours and already seeing results!! No barking when the door goes, no barking at the neighbours dog. I think my pooch is getting it already so think it’ll be a quick fix and not needed for long.
Collar was charged with citronella and included another canister of it. Collar was already powered up.

Bought this for my 6 months dog that was randomly barking for attention or for other stuff she would see by the windows. After 1 day of wearing it she stopped barking ! Now after 1 week we almost never have to put it on her she just lost the habit of barking pretty quickly.
The instruction on how to set it are simple and it works great! I’ve noticed that when the container is empty it does not tell you so you have to test if the collar is still working from time to time and fill it up when needed. The packaging looks great, it comes with 3 collar that are both very big, I cut one myself to make the end shorter since my dog is 15 pounds and had a lot of extra strap left.
I liked all of the clear directions. They were step by step. I tried to make it work but had to plug it back in. Will keep trying. I love the concept and there is plenty of help troubleshooting. Recommended by our dog trainer.

I bought this item after relieving a couple of noise complaints about my dog when I was not home. In their mails they suggested this product, and since receiving the item I have not heard another complaint. I tend to take it off when I get home, but when I put it on in the mornings he does not seem afraid, and actually even wags his tail for the treat that follows. Overall great product with minimal issues
I wasn’t sure this would work especially living in an apartment in A dog community i couldn’t handle the constant barking of my dogs seeing other dogs the stress was taking A toll on my health even more and this is amazing. One of the 2 small dogs i have, one is heavier and bark is loud so i used it on him and after A few barks he was running from the other dog who kept barking bc he would get sprayed but he is smart bc he realized immediately that he isn’t barking but his brother was n he ran away to the other room to stop the spray. I have it on him but often don’t need to turn it on unless he forgets then i turn it on and he knows that sound so YES – best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon to be honest because it doesn’t harm him and it works which makes me less stressed
This is a highly effective anti bark collar. Our pooch is very quiet when it is put on him. Make sure you turn it off when not using it as if the battery is low, the Citronella may not spray out. It is excellent for my smart pooch. I do need the small plastic cover for the green/red indicator, which fell off. Anybody know how to get this tiny piece?
My little one year old Maltese can hear every sound no one else can hear and barks at it day and night. He barks at doorbells, delivery guys, guests, and who knows, whatever he hears. And after I read some good reviews, I decided to try it out. It worked! Maybe too much? A couple times it got his barks, he was scared and confused by it and he went to a corner in the bathroom and tried to wipe the smell off from his face and stayed there alone. I’ve never seen he acts like that. I hope it didn’t scare him too much but it seemed work. I think I’ll put it on again during the night to see if it keeps him away from barking.

After 2 dog barking complaints from the city, we were in need of something to help quickly. We have a 10 month old Labradoddle , who barks all the time and everything and anything. After a week on using it on walks and few periodic times the barking has reduced considerably. We don’t want to use it all the time but it has helped so much for training.
Product arrived on time and in good condition. Instructions were easy to read. I wasn’t sure how mush it would work on my dog as she has fluffy hair and is an avid barker at our neighbors dogs. She learned quickly, and in 2 days I think she has let out 3 barks where it used to be non stop. She also doesn’t seem bothered by the collar and is happy to continue playing in the yard

Il dispositivo arriva con due collarini, una bomboletta di spray e un cavo per ricaricare ( senza alimentatore). piuttosto semplice da utilizzare e per il mio cane sembra davvero funzionare. Lo uso ancora da poco tempo ma dopo il primo abbaio del cane il dispositivo spruzza questo spray alla citronella e il cane si zittisce. Va usato come addestramento, quindi non pi di un’ora al giorno. Speriamo che nel lungo termine il cane impari a non abbaiare a tutte le moto che vede passare!

Our German Shepard, Molly, can bark most of the night at some other dogs down the street. I have tried 3 other products that didn’t work at all. The first night we used this, she barked three times and then was quiet the reminder of the night and has been quiet all night since. Now, we have only had this for one week, but it has been great so far.
Regarding my 2 big dogs? My concern was about them barking a lot in our back yard because I have a neighbor who complained about the barking 5 years ago. The citronella collars stopped my dogs’ barking problem and no one’s complained since. In fact, I no longer have to put the citronella collars on my dogs at all because they seemed to have learned from the collars to bark less while outside (except when they see or smell a fox on the other side of the fence, in which case all bets are off).
I highly recommend citronella collars as better than vibration or shock collars.
Delivered 11/29/2020, charged units with USB charger, placing on dogs on Tuesday, 12/02/2020. The overnight charging lasts the approximately 4-6 hours we leave the collars on our dogs. The adjustable strap (collar) online description shows it to be 8-27″ long (quite amount to cut-off for a small dog), but it is durable, the thickness is strong enough to hold the spray device, but not too thick or heavy for our two small dogs. Suggested by professional dog trainers to stop your dog from barking is you remove the motivation for your barking, (remove or limit the dog’s view of people or other dogs). In our situation this would require replacing our wrought-iron fence that opens up to a beautiful common area with fountains; additionally, we have a public sidewalk (popular walking trail) on the other side of our backyard, neither an option. Shock collars were not an option for me. However, I have been using a water spray bottle, spraying their faces, using the word “quiet” simultaneously, and when or if they stopped barking, I would give them a treat. The problem with this method, it was difficult to catch up with them as they ran along our wrought-iron fence, enabling a spray in the face and catching them directly in the act of barking. Since both dogs already exhibited a dislike for having water sprayed in their face, the Spray Training Collar was a product/training tool that I decided to try. It was obvious the first time they barked they felt the spray, as the younger (7-month old) turned her head in surprise, the older (9-year old) just put her ears back with a look of disbelief. Currently I am testing the spray collars by placing them on our two dogs in the morning, observing their reactions when the spray is initiated by barking, and removing the collars early evening. It’s been 13-days of evaluating spray collars, and there is a tremendous improvement. The dogs still initiate a bark occasionally, usually at the front door bell ring, but they shake their heads, ears go back and they stop quickly. We do not leave them on the dogs all the time, only during peak times of the day when people are walking near our backyard in the common areas. This is a great product and with my youngest (7-month old puppy) will share with others in my puppy classes. It is working for my two small yapping dogs, thanks for developing a product that is safe to use and works!
UPDATE: 2/4/2021 After submitting this review, the product stop working for our dogs. Our dogs probably just got used to the spray because it does not spray much. It’s possible the sprayer just quit spraying as much as at beginning.
