Easy to use, less fatty results, quicker to cook and easy to clean afterwards
I had never used an air fryer before and was anxious to try and reduce fat content in food while enjoying a good taste. I am very impressed with this machine. The suggested timings have generally proved accurate and it’s easy to check food in the middle of cooking; it’s also easy to adapt one’s own recipes (the one or two I have tried from the accompanying recipe book have also been good, however). And it’s very much easier to clean and overall much less messy than a grill pan, which is a big plus. I normally cook for two, but I think one could use it for a family of four comfortably.
For those in the position I was in (ie having no experience of air fryers) – just don’t think of it as being a substitute for a deep fat fryer. It’s really a compact grill in which you can do foods coated in oil or marinaded before cooking: steaks, fish and veg work particularly well. But I’ve had no success at all with crisps or chips – maybe I need to experiment a bit more.
The superficially impressive display of presets is essentially a waste of time, since anything you need to do can be set and operated manually as well, which is what I have had to do in any case in adapting my own recipes.
I’d definitely recommend this. I don’t know what more expensive models do (quicker? more automated programs?), but I can’t see any reason for upgrading.

    Great for quick results.
Was initially a little hesitant about spending money on yet another kitchen cooking gadget, but finally persuaded myself that it would be a good idea. Turns out to be excellent for sausages and steaks and even burgers.. cooking them through and leaving them nicely browned without my constant intervention. Time and temperature is adjustable, though most presets I’ve used have been sufficient. Best to use a meat thermometer to check that safe internal temperatures have been reached…

Best purchase so far this year!!
We spent a few days with a relative who has a smaller version of this and we were “We need one of these!!” There should be some energy/cost saving as there is little need to pre-heat this device. Although we are still experimenting we are really pleased with this. We have cooked things like fish, chicken, croisants, pain chocolat. Everythng comes out well cooked and as crisp on the outside as your individual taste. Highly recommended.

    Brilliant!
I did a lot of research before deciding on this model and am so please I got this one. Big enough for a family of four, it holds plenty of chips or whatever else you want to fry. We use it nearly every day. So much cheaper to use than the big oven. On the down side it’s too big to keep on our limited worktop space so I made room in a cupboard for it. Even the kids use it. Quick and convenient, we’ve made spring rolls, chicken wings, onion rings, sausages, bacon. Would be nice if it came supplied with a rack though.

Easy to use, easy to clean, Highly recommend but go for 5.5L
Purchased after rave reviews by my sister and cannot fault. Easy to use, easy to clean, nice cookbook enclosed. Have been using it most days rather than the oven. Would recommend a 5.5L size for anyone looking to purchase an air fryer even if you are only a single person. Not too big to store on the kitchen top. 2-year guarantee, pay for what you get. There is another model which connects to your phone for extra but can’t see the point of that myself.

    Amazing Customer Service
My Corsori broke last week after 9 months of great service. I emailed Customer Services early Thursday morning and had a replacement 2 DAY LATER! What amazing customer service.

But more about the air fryer – like other people have said, it’s a wonderful product. Meat cooked in it remains wonderfully juicy, veg wonderfully crisp. I hardly use my main oven anymore.

In the minus side, sadly it’s not suitable for large families because of its size and stuff you need to cook in oil, like roast potatoes, I personally don’t think they are the best in the Corsori but others disagree.

I’d yr wavering about buying it – don’t hesitate. It’s quicker and better than a normal oven in many ways (and cheaper to use).

How did I mange without one for so longThe
The fryer arrived early and I was excited to try it so I used it right away totally amazed at the quality and the cooking results,I can cook a meal for my wife and myself in the large basket at the same time.Cooked chicken nuggets along with potato wedges and both cooked perfectly crisp and cooked to perfection. This air fryer will take the place of my range master at a fraction of the cost to run.Last evening I Cooke a steak and kidney pie the pastry was perfect crisp and brown and the meat tender piping hot. This would make a perfect wedding present for a young couple so easy to use and can be cleaned in seconds can’t believe my luck having purchased it.Ps ordering another one for my daughter she fell in love with it right away.Highly recommend for looks, quality, cooking ability plus ease of getting to know how to use it it’s a must purchase for any home..*************

    Kitchen Gadget .....
So when I was considering buying a in air fryer I asked lots of people their opinions and did my research. The overall view from friends was that they like theirs. The reviews for the Cosori were at the top of the list and soni went for it. I also liked the red as it matches the other gadgets!
So it’s spacious for cooking unlike many I’ve seen. Comes with a cookbook and is alot bulkier than expected but looks good. It’s easy to use and cleans upbok after use. My only complaint is it is definitely not a fryer. It’s basically a Compact work topnoven with a very strong fan. So if you are a single person low on funds and space then don’t buy an oven get one of these. Is it faster than a fan oven? Maybe a little bit. Is it worth it? Maybe when you want to cook oven chips and nothing else but I am going to try and use it for a few recips and see if it is all it’s cracked up to be. Just don’t expect proper fried chips

    Wish I'd bought this sooner!
What’s not to like, we have cooked everything from roast chicken to scones in this within the last month since purchasing – I have been toying with the idea of buying this for a year – not sure why I waited really as I wish I hadn’t. A whole roast chicken with roasted vegetables in 50 minutes, tasty and juicy meat with a crispy skin – fantastic. My wife has been making potatas bravas which are amazing and so easy to do. Stop thinking about it and just buy it, you will not be disappointed.

    Very pleased
I have cooked frozen chips, sausages, bacon, lamb chops a whole chicken as well as quarters and quite a few other things all came out very good and tasty, I like that it tells me when to shake could do without pressing pause button, but that is minor, overall a good machine, this is the 3rd basket airfryer that I have and to be honest it cooks the same as my other two that I have had for 5 years, hope this lasts as long

    Pricey but worth i
At 99 it’s pricey but it is worth it and does exactly what’s promised..have now swapped a conventional oven to a halogen oven to the COSORI..it cooks food well and far quicker than even the halogen..have yet to use any oil.. Frozen chips are done superbly and nice and crisp.. The shake mode is great to get food cooked evenly and I use it to turn food over.. While I got the big version of the COSORI I am afraid it won’t totally replace your conventional.. Will do a medium chicken but nothing bigger so the Xmas turkey will still need the conventional oven but I have firmly swapped to using the cosori for 90% of my cooking now

    Wow! This is great!
Obviously calling it ‘air fryer’ is nonsense. It is simply a convenient mini oven. It cooks quickly and very conveniently. Size wise it is for a single big eater or a small diet couple. I have only ever washed it once…and that was in the dishwasher. Normally I wipe it with kitchen roll…..and give it a pre heat before next use. It certainly reduces the number of other containers that might need cleaning after a normal meal! It has endless uses. for given the amount of use it has had I would rate it as ‘excellent’!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersConvenience
Easy to use Air fryer, food is cooked quicker and it is more convenient than a standard oven especially with small children. Chips and fish fingers cooks in no time or even cheese on toast. If you have small children that eat you out of house and home and you sometimes need things to cooked quicker, then this is your guy. Large basket and it’s ideal for my family of 6.
After cleaning first time, turn it on and leave it for a few minutes to get that plastic taste/smell off. It may take a couple more turns before it goes though. Handy recipe booklet even though I have not tried the recipes yet.

    Every home needs this!!
It’s fast (I now make roast potatoes in 20 mins!)
It’s less fat (or just don’t use any fat!! It’s non stick!)
The basket will do enough roast potatoes for 4, easily (we are greedy buggers)
    It’s easy to use
It’s easy to clean (make sure you get an old toothbrush)
Chicken cooks fast and remains succulent
    The only negatives?

Cakes are a bit hit and miss. It takes some trial runs before perfecting.

I’d recommend using liners when using metal accessories as it can damage the non stick coating

Brilliant - when you get used to it.
IMHO Think of it as a fast fan oven.
I would advise that you experiment with this – cook some small portions to get to know the capability/timings/temperatures etc. of various foods.
Using this also saves money as you will not be using it for the length of time of a conventional oven.
Warming to 200C, conventional fan oven takes 10-15 mins. This takes max 5 mins.
After preheating frozen chips take another 25 mins in a conventional fan oven, the air fryer max 15 mins. This is the same for potato wedges, battered/breaded fish/chicken.
I am still experimenting, recently making profiteroles which were just as good as in a conventional oven.
Cleaning is very easy so overall I would highly recommend this product.

    Exceed expectations!
In fairness the only thing I dislike is the lack of any extras like moulds for donuts, cupcakes, pans etc. You do have to buy them separately. It’s not a big hassle abs they are not too expensive but it would be nice to have it already in the set.

It’s extremely easy to clean and while I’m making some fatty food in like steaks I’m always using tin foil on the bottom of the unit to catch any fat.

It’s amazingly holding moist and flavours when u cook meats etc in it. The best chicken breasts you can imagine.

It’s basically a mini convection oven and in fairness I can’t imagine my life without it now. I’ve had a good few models in my life and this one is exactly what I was looking for in AirFryer!

    Highly recommended!!!!

    Best Thing Since Slice Bread
Oh! my after buying a cheaper one with a plastic interior that warped after one cook. Got this one for a little more and it is far superior. It has a metal interior very sturdy and well built. A good book of recipes, and lots on line demos. Its no louder than a desk fan if that.
I have cooked some amazing food in it and used spices and herbs i never had the confidence to use before and it is quicker than my fan oven. best thing is no hot kitchen in summer and i can take it with me when we go on Self catering holidays . Would highly recommend

    Ease of use
I have over the last 8 years or so used Tefal Actifry but found it increasingly frustrating not being able to keep it clean with a build-up of grease. I kept buying new ones. I decided to go looking for something better. I read a review on this particular model and decided to give it a go. Best product on the market as far as I am concerned. So easy to use, the food tastes great and the cleaning of it is so easy. I just love it.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersThe best Air fryer eve
This is my 3rd AirFryer and I love it.

I bought a basic one first but found it was NOT big enough, so bought an AirFyer Oven with 3 shelves and a rotisserie. This is ok and I have kept it, but since having the Cosori I have not used it. You have to keep moving your shelves up and down, The Rotisserie is a pain with chicken sizes and also keeping the rotisserie turning with the chicken on it!

Then I thought I have really got to investigate before spending another 100 and over. After much reading and instigating, I found the Cosori.
First, make sure it’s big enough, this is the biggest one I found in BASKET SIZE. Not too high to store under my cupboards.
Second, make sure it has a basket that you can lift out to turn things and pour things like chips out of, also with a removal basket you can take the basket out for popping in the sink or the dishwasher. Some DO NOT have removal Baskets!
Third, make sure it’s SQUARE, why have a square bottom holder to put a ROUND basket in it? what a waste of space.
Make sure you can get it into your sink for easy cleaning. I wash mine every time I use it. I do not want smoke in my kitchen or a fire. Oh, do NOT use that spray in a can oil from the supermarket, because I have been told it damages your basket lining. I just use rapeseed oil in a spray bottle I bought on Amazon and also bought some of Amazons air fryer parchment liners.

The Cosori is brilliant. I use it most days, from Frozen Croissants for breakfast or for a cooked breakfast.
Lunch a quick easy to home bake quiche or a jacket potato ready to eat in 10 mins or a cheese toasty.
Bake a quick lemon cake with butter icing.
Supper, either BBQ ribs, Steak, Rib of lamb or even a jacket potato chilli.
It’s amazing what you can make with an Air Fryer.
Just think of it as a Fan Oven, but quicker. It comes with preset controls but also you can adjust the temperature and cooking time.
It’s great for just one person, like me or if grandchildren come and want BBQ Chicken wings, cheaper than McD’s & chips or jackets.
You will be amazed at what you can do with one. Lots of recipes on F.B or the internet.

Did my research and this model came in the top 3 in just about every product line up review. I’ve had it a few days now and I’ve got to say, it’s money well spent! We haven’t used the oven since this arrived. So far I’ve cooked chips, french fries, chicken nuggets, chicken thighs with teriyaki sauce…even majority of a full Sunday lunch! Cooks everything well, crisps up nicely and clean up is a doddle….if you are considering getting one…do it!

If in doubt, just buy it. It’s amazing
I am in love with this. Much bigger than expected, but i can perfectly roast whole medium chicken inside. Easy to use, press couple buttons, and voilia, dinner for everyone! I find programs as a guidance only, and i always change something either temperature or time, as it could be too much or too little heat and/or cooking time. Does sound bit loud, and it is very important to follow guidance how to heat it up for the first time, as it will get rid of plastic smell.
Overall, my dream airfryer, absolutely in love with it.

    Fantastic air frye
Chicken, burgers, chops, bacon, sausages, etc, this fryer cooks them easily and very quickly, i very rarely use my oven or grill now, things cook in the cosori in the time it takes to pre heat the oven!
I also use it for heating ready made pies, cooking crustless quiche, making ham and cheese on toast, cauliflower cheese etc, frozen yorkshire puddings are ready in 2 mins, its really fantastic.
I have never washed the basket in the dishwasher so i cannot comment on that, i hand wash in hot soapy water and the basket still looks new after a full year of using it most days, sometimes multiple times for different meals.

    Fast & Easy
I did not know what to expect with an air-fryer but I am glad I took the plunge to purchase one. (wish I had plunged sooner!).
It is so easy to use and I took a you-tubers advice and brought next size up from the 3.5 ltr and purchased 5.5 ltr. (I am a single household). The foot print is also about the same on the kitchen counter. I cook burgers, fries, roasted potatoes, Squash, veg, bacon, sausages, southern fried chicken, battered/breaded fish, Jacket potatoes, drumsticks and much more in my air-fryer. I set the time and it beeps when to shake or when its finished cooking. the surprise is it uses barely any oil to cook and its much faster than my oven. Glad I took a chance on this brand, I have had it a few months now and it shows no wear. I pour hot soapy water in it when its finished cooking for easy clean-up. I got mine when Amazon reduced the price to 85 for 5.5L Corsori. Was a bargain at the time.

Finally! A air frier that is easy to clean! I have been using this now everyday for a few months before writing this because I like to try it out first. It’s so easy to clean and it has a great control pad. It’s got timers, loads of food settings or you can set your own heat and time settings. I can fit a normal size pizza in it as well as chips, chicken nuggets, chicken breast, fish – literally everything. Its like an oven/frier and I don’t know how I managed without it. I like to add a downside on a review but I’m yet to find one. It even looks great in the kitchen!

One of the best tools in our kitche
This is an absolutely BRILLIANT device! We use our conventional oven so much less now, as our air fryer is now a staple in our kitchen. The way things taste and the texture is so different from food cooked in the oven. Whereas chips done in the oven are soggy, chips cooked in the air fryer are fluffy and crispy. Everything that it’s possible to cook in it, we do. Things come out so much better than in the oven. It’s also great at warming things up, and will return a soggy McDonald’s meal to one that tastes like it’s just been cooked. We love it!

    Fabulous!
I decided to go for this air fryer after my old halogen finally gave up on me. I like to use a smaller counter top cooker to save money instead of having my larger cooker on, especially for thing like chips & jackets.
I liked my halogen but it took up so much space and was such an awkward shape to get accessories for so after much research I decided to get an air fryer instead.

This knocks the socks off the halogen. It takes up much less space on the counter and is quieter. I love how easy it is to use and am amazed how quick it heats up and cooks.

I love the fact this is square shape as one of the initial things that put me off buying one years ago is the round shape, it just isn’t practical for dishes but this one is square

I love the digital display, it’s so easy to use. So far I’ve only done frozen chips, homemade chips, jacket potatoes and some vegan things like burgers & sausage substitutes and all have turned out great and I’m amazed at how quick it is

It actually looks nice on the counter so I don’t have to put it away and hide it at all.

I’m really looking forward to going though the recipe book and seeing what else I can do with it. Although my main reason for purchase was for quick chips and jackets I shall definitely be experimenting

The only thing I am slightly concerned about it the little plastic slider on the drawer, it doesn’t seem very strong and for that reason I wouldn’t place it in my dishwasher and I’ve told my boys they better be gentle with it.

    Definitely recommend this produc

    Love this Cosori Frye
Been using air fryers for almost a year and what I will say about this one is that it’s a great size for my family of 2. It’s easy to use and clean and as air fryers cooks quicker than meal recommendations, I like that I can adjust the timer manually. A great buy if you’ve switched from an oven to an air fryer. I would suggest something smaller for occasional use

    Really pleased with this
I bought this to replace another machine and I am really pleased with it. The capacity is really good for 3 adults or a family, so size wise would be a good all round family fryer. The features are just what I need to include chips, baking, etc. The machine looks good and it’s easy to operate and clean too. It doesn’t have a viewing window or paddle so if you want a version similar to the Actifry, you should check out the Pro Breeze with these features, which I bought for my daughter after buying myself this one, as wished I had gone for it. This machine is really good and well worth the price .

    It will replace your oven.
I wasn’t sure if I would really use an air fryer for much more than chips but I was wrong.
I hardly put the main oven on apart from using it to keep things warm. Getting the temperature and timing right has taken some time to get used to but now I cook most meals in the air fryer. Everything from a cooked breakfast to a full Sunday roast all done using a tiny amount of oil.
Cooks everything really quickly and very tasty. Cleaning is easy with just a sink of hot water and soap.
I certainly recommend the Cosori air fryer, and suggest you buy the larger one.

Love it, i just use a brush to apply oil but spray oil can be used, everything I’ve cook so far has come out crispy like chicken nuggets, lovely and crisp, chicken wings skin was crisp I’ve put sausages in great no dryness and cooked sirloin steaks medium rare, oven chips done in 10 minutes crispy on the out side soft in the middle and knowing i’m using 10 times less fat , is a bonus, would recommend this one but don’t think it would be big enough for 4 people i use mine just for the two of us

Used more than once a day for several months!
I agonised over this purchase for a very long time and spent many hours reading reviews. We have a small kitchen and already own a deep fryer, so this really had a lot of expectations to live up to. I bought it to make healthier chips, while I was going through a low fat phase (don’t worry, that’s over now!) and I have to say it’s the one thing I don’t use it for. Though to be fair, I only tried a couple of times and I was trying to cram enough for 5 people in it. I’m sure with time, experimenting, better potatoes and fewer chips, you could make decent enough ones. Better than oven chips, obviously, but never going to beat a good homemade deep-fried chip.

However, it’s all the other things we cook in it that make me happy. The kids use it for toasties, pitta/French bread pizzas, nuggets, heating pastries/pies. Its great for bacon, sausages, chops (any meat!). I make lovely veg sides like sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower (coat anything in seasoned oil and air fry it).

I’m eating low carb/high fat now (again, I missed you old friend) and I worried I’d have less use for the air fryer but actually I’m using it even more. So much veg and meat to cook and lamb fat especially tastes heavenly, as so the pork cracklings I’ve been making. It’s a huge hit and definitely earned its space on the worktop.

Had this a month, we do not put this in the dishwasher due to reviews of the none stick coming off. So all seems ok as its easy to just wash in a bowl. We have only been using it to cook potato chips and sweet potato chips, yummy. This cooks seafood really well, and lamb chops are great. My partner loves her roast potatos done in this with one cal spray. Soft boil first. No smells from all above cooked food. .. for use we love this air fryer and definitely suits us. I will be trying different things later. Highly recommended

Amazing for everything and good for homemade chips for 1 or 2 but no more than tha
    This is amazing.

Really easy to use and simple to clean.

Bought it for homemade chips but ended up using it everyday for everything else.

Anything frozen goes in and comes out 10 mins later perfectly crispy and evenly cooked: chicken nuggets, beef burgers, hash browns, sausages, frozen chips, even did half a frozen pizza the other day.

Bacon is amazing, i will never do it any other way now.

Breathes new life into Left overs and takes 5 mins and wow wow wow, dominoes pizza the next day, crispy and holdable again, chippy chips the next day, better than when first bought.

Side of salmon, no problem, 12 mins, juicy on inside and crispy outside.

Roasted veg from scratch is also very good

Eggs in a pot, dont bother, turn to rubber.

Homemade chips are tricky though. Boil em first but its hard to do a decent amount, only get two portions at the most and take 20 mins plus, dont do them very often as not so good for family of 4. Better for frozen chips you can fill it a bit higher and they cook better. I will probably do home made ones more often when the kis have left home.

Cleaning is good because it fits in the sink unlike an oven tray.

This is a good size fryer.

I use it for breakfast, lunch and dinner….Bacon, sausages, perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs (yep), fish, chicken, beef, gammon, cheeses scones, chicken fajitas, jacket potatoes and even a whole chicken…I am so happy with my purchase and my oven hardly gets used now!
Easy peasy to clean, takes seconds, saves on electric too as I’m not heating up a large oven all the time!
    Do i

    Great produc
This is an excellent product I really like it. I initially bought the 3.5ltr but realised straight away it was not big enough so returned the next day for the 5.5ltr which is much much better. However, the larger one arrived inside a brown cardboard box the box containing the fryer was damaged and tatty as was the packaging inside the box. There are grease marks on the top of this product which indicates to me that this is not a brand new item. Amazon asked me to return it with a Hermes pick up but the price has price has increased by 20 I was then offered a 5 goodwill gesture. Not happy.

14 months of ownership, 6 purchased (for others), still my default cooking device.
Owned this device for more than twelve months and it one of the most useful items in my kitchen.
It’s form factor means it fits anywhere I need to use it, but even better, I can sneak it on holiday too (mainland obviously).
Anyone (even novices) can use to improve their culinary output.
Simple to setup and use; works better than you imagined and will improve every meal in ways you won’t believe. The other major benefit is that cleaning it is really simple, certainly something you do need to be aware of.

This particular model is my ‘default present’ for wedding gifts, birthdays and house-warmings.
I purchased one for my parents; mainly because my Mum can’t bend down to use the main oven, but it cooks everything (they enjoy) and cleaning-up is low effort. It’s also much cheaper to run than an oven. *I have now purchased six in total. Only one problem, simply rectified.

Top tip: get the large one. If you have a family, you will find the air fryer is always in use and you need more space for other items. You can cook a whole chicken in an air fryer, the larger model allows you to cook a larger chicken (which is always very popular).

The only tools you will need are a good pair of nylon cooking tongues, an oil spray bottle and Teflon base sheet. If you can, try to get the small riser too, this will allow you to cook two (or more) items at the same time.
Children will enjoy learning to cook too. Just follow the simple rules and you will have years of delicious results.
In comparison, it’s much better than than the more expensive Philips air fryer that I received for my birthday. I now own two air fryers, but the Philips is cosigned to my garage; only used when I am cooking at-scale.

    Very happy =)
I had a different branded air fryer (Tower) it wasn’t great for a family, this is very big, the shape of the basket is perfect for laying out your food items, it’s faster then my old one, the settings are great. I’m happy to be able to make cakes in it too 😀 it’s louder then my old one but that’s to be expected with how big it is. So easy to clean which cuts much needed time with being a mum. Very happy =)

Easy to use but not convinced into using it all the time ye
I like the air fryer, it’s easy to use and I like the colour so it looks good. It takes up a fair amount of space and is quite heavy so you wouldn’t want to be dragging it in and out of a cupboard.
There is a bit of trial and error and I’ve had a couple of mishaps which is why I’m still using my oven mainly. So far the best thing I’ve made is baked eggs, it’s easier than poaching, much less messy. I have struggled to get decent chips from raw potatoes. Nice crispy chips from frozen oven chips.
I’ve followed a few groups and I plan to try some new things. I bought an accessory pack as I think as it comes it’s quite limiting. It would be helpful to have more than one layer .

I have to say that after a lot of research around air fryers and we settled on the Cosori XXL and have been very pleased. It is well made, easy to use, and has a good range of settings to allow you to cook a broad range of food.

We have used a number of recipes from the book and have been very pleased with the results.

Despite having a very capable, modern oven that has a range of settings and modes, we have found that this air fryer offers consistently good results.

Would recommend and would buy agai

    Great Airfrye
Had an Airfryer which had a mechanical timer which eventually broke but the COSORI is completely digital which I prefer. The temperature controller seems to be more effective and easily controlled than my previous so I can control the cooking with a greater degree of accuracy. Using the set times are fine but it doesn’t take into account the quantity of food being cooked so beware when you automatically press the preset timer but with experience you’ll be able to perfect your cooking process. Thoroughly recommend.

Wow now even I can cook , roast chicken and potatoes cooked in half an hour and delicious, saves time and energy, no oil for chips etc so it is a really healthy way to cook, we have only used our oven once in the last month because this thing is amazing.
Buy one you won’t regret it. And no I don’t work for them lol.
Ps get the bigger one as the small one is to small unless you live alone.
It is so safe as well and you don’t need to stand around watching it like a chipper or frying pan.

Really surprised by this , after reading reviews on air fryers I have always been a bit dubious about getting one . So glad I bought a small cheapo one from a certain range and was pleased with how it worked unfortunately it was too small , so after a trawl of amazon spotted this one and read and then re read reviews and decided to take a punt . So glad that I did , ive tried everything from chips to chops and it has cooked everything to perfection . I make a note of times and temp so that I know for the next time . Super easy to clean and also easy too use aswell which is a bonus, if like me you are a little dubious take a punt and get this one .

If you’ve seen my reviews you’d know I’m a very picky person. I’ve got absolutely nothing that I can improve with this though, absolutely amazing air fryer and I’m glad it is as I spent hours comparing prices, features and everything. The cookbook is useless but it’s cute that they try to impress you with it. The actual air fryer though, you will not find any better, it is so easy to clean with a detachable tray. Temperature control and timing could not be any easier, even a child can make excellent food with this. I rarely give 5 stars unless a product is perfect and here I am giving 5 stars due to the fact this has made me save so much money and I never eat takeaways anymore! Amazing product.

This fryer looks very stylish when you first unbox it, setting this fryer up was very simple and didn’t leave you looking at instructions for hours. the reviews for this fryer were reasonably good and lots of people have said it was a easy choice above all others. Frying your food in this fryer is very easy and if you prep your chips from scratch that is all the effort that you will need to put in, selecting what crispiness you want your food to be is easy with a few pictures and buttons to press. The flavour of the chips we have got out are spectacular and on chippy Friday it saves us a lot of money. After you have enjoyed your meal cleaning the fryer is another very easy task, all you need is a bit of soap and water and a gentle sponge, unlike some other fryers that can leave you scrubbing the sides for a long time.

There is nothing, I can find, to state negative about this hot air fryer.
The recipe book was very helpful.
Jacket potatoes are amazing cooked in it, well, everything I want to cook in it, is.
I admit I was sceptical when my friend was praising hers, but my interest was peaked. My first production was fried chicken, and I even managed an appropriate crunchy coating. The taste was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone. I am still getting through the recipe book, but it is really practical, especially for cooking for one.

Still getting used to using an air fryer as I’ve never had a fryer before so it’s still a bit of trial and error but so far so good. On a positive note the food is cooked in half the time to what it would normally take in an oven, have used people’s advice via Google for recommended cooking times which so far have been spot on. Have tried sausages, frozen pies, frozen chips, fish in batter & roasted asparagus recipe taken from the cook book which came with the fryer, all with success. On a negative note trying to keep the tray clean is a bit of a pain especially if you use a light coating of oil spray as this sticks to sides when the tray is hot & to remove it when cleaning requires a bit of elbow grease!
Overall very pleased with it & would recommend.

Most items I buy I research and pick the best. But I bought this on a whim wondering if we would use it……. Well its a great addition to the kitchen.

I don’t deep fry any food but do cook chicken and chips in the oven fairly often. Oven chips are usually a bit hit and miss for me. BUT this cooks them superbly. Its faster than a traditional oven, cooks more evenly and the chicken stripes we made are really nice and crispy…. unlike doing them in the oven. Bacon and sausages are very nicely cooked too with no oil. The food cooked in it tastes great.

Need to work out everything we can do but so far after a week I’m pretty impressed with it.

It sits up the corner, no more buying litres of oil, new best buddy in my kitchen! Highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 138 From Our UsersA great way to cook meals. It saves energy and the food tastes great.
I’ve now had this for a couple of weeks, and I’m very happy so far.

The oven comes nicely packaged (Photo).
Everything is very well protected in transit.
Make sure you remove all packaging before use, don’t forget the piece of cardboard under the basket in the oven.

It comes with a good instruction booklet, a small recipe book and a 2 year warranty card. (Photo).
Quality wise, it feels very well made.
It is reasonably heavy and quite bulky in size.
I have mine permanently out. I don’t think it is ideal as something you store away in a cupboard and get out when needed.

Although I was tempted by the digital, touch button version of this oven. I’m pleased, I opted for this, the analogue version.
I much prefer the immediate temperature adjustment, by just turning the dial, either up or down.
Similarly, the cooking time can be altered by simply turning the timer dial.

    It’s simplicity itself to use.
Set your temperature, then turn the timer dial to set the time.
The oven will then switch on, with both the orange and green light on (Photo).
The green light will go out when the temperature has been reached.
The oven will switch itself off when the timer reaches zero and ‘pings’

Cooking timing is a little hit and miss at first. You really need to experiment with various foods, to see how you like them cooked. One thing you must do, is always pre-heat, as you would a conventional oven.

So far I have cooked chicken breasts, fish and chips and a Betty Crocker chocolate brownie mix.

All were very successful, the chocolate brownie took slightly longer than I anticipated, but I did dial in quite a low temperature.
It really is true, oven chips have never tasted better than when cooked in this.

Cleaning is simple, just remove the basket, separate the two halves, then give them both a rinse with soapy water.

I mainly bought this as it was a waste to use a 3Kw oven to cook a small meal for 2 people, this uses half the power, and cooks a lot of things in 3/4 the time.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the oven. (I call it an oven, as that it what it really is).
It has certainly achieved its energy saving purpose, and there is the added bonus of all foods tasting great, and some foods tasting even better.

UPDATE May 2021: I’ve now had this air fryer for over 7 months and I’m still very pleased with it. It is used 2-3 times a week, and always cooks beautifully.

A couple of tips that I would give are :

Buy the bigger model. It will always be useful to have the extra cooking space.

Pick a temperature, and use that for the majority of your cooking. I leave mine at 180 degrees, and now, after 7 months, I know exactly how long to cook the majority of different items. You will occasionally need to alter the temperature, but get used to one and cook accordingly.

The manufacturers will probably say this next one is a no-no, but as the top gets reasonably warm, it’s a great place to put your plates to warm up. I wouldn’t do it with too many, but for 2 or 3 it works well.

As I said, this has proved to be a really good buy, and I’m very pleased.

I hope you found this review helpful.

Don’t understand what some of the people who have reviewed this are talking about. The quality and durability is excellent. Simple to use and I have found perfect results every time. The different options provide easy cooking settings for different types of food, and it doesn’t take long to adapt these to your own preferences.
For the most part l wouldn’t say this is any better at cooking than the likes of the Ninja or any of the other top price fryers available, but it can certainly hold its own at the very least, as none of them can do any better. Why then would you want to pay 3 or 4 times as much for exactly the same result.

    Super smashing great!
Why are these are called air fryers and not mini fan ovens?
Anyway first impressions are very good, only used it 3 times so far but now eager to get cooking and experiment with some of my own recipes.
First up was a handful of oven chips, not my favourite thing but they were cooked in half the time and as they cooked faster the outside wasn’t burnt but the inside was nice and fluffy, not dry like all the oven chips I’ve eaten before. The buzzer went off half way through to remind me to shake the chips, I just turned they out into a pan and back again instead as it just seems easier and they all get a good shake that way.
Next was just warming up a quiche (called an egg & bacon pie in my day), dead quick and done in about 7mins.
Then yesterday my other half cooked a couple of minted lamb chops. Now she will be the first to admit she’s really not been blessed by the gods of cooking and uses the smoke alarm to let me know when the dinners ready but they were truly the best lamb chops I’ve ever eaten! Cooked for 20mins instead of the 25mins recommended and turned half way through, they were better than I’ve ever cooked under the grill and easily as good as I’ve ever barbecued. I’ve now taken to calling my wife Nigella.
We’re looking forward to the chicken I’ve got marinating in the fridge and some of our favourite bangers from the local butcher tonight.
    Happy cooking.

It was time to replace our Breville Halo after solid use for over 5 years. We are a family of 5 and use our airfryer at least 6 times a day so we needed something that would suit our needs.

I didn’t want to pay the inflated prices of the top brands and similarly didn’t want anything too cheap that it would break after a month of solid heavy use.
I spent time looking at different brands and hadn’t heard of Cosori so was a bit wary. I needn’t be as it has exceeded my expectations. It comes with a book of recipes which is a nice touch.

I prefer the compact style and shape of the Cosori and love the drawer design as I seem to fit more in than my previous Halo.

The cleaning of the unit is an absolute joy so quick and easy bearing in mind ours has heavy use. Most of the time it only needs a wipe to remove the fat and bits and then you can clean in hot soapy water. Whatever the non-stick coating is that they use it’s amazing.
We haven’t put ours in the dishwasher as yet.

The only downside and it’s not really an issue, is the noise when it’s cooking but you do get used to it.
The preset timings are great however you may want to tinker about with it to suit how you like food cooked. The ability to change the exact temp and time is a plus.

We have cooked croissants, bacon, sausages, burgers, fries, chicken tikka, fish, homemade keto pizza and lots more.

If you are looking for an airfryer I highly recommend the Cosori, we couldn’t be without ours.

My wife has been looking at replacing our deep fat fryer for a while, not that we use It that often, but she says that we should cut down even further in its use because it’s not healthy. But we do like the odd meal with chips as a treat; I’ve always been skeptical saying that air fry cooked chips can’t be as good as “the real thing” I was browsing through Amazon when I came across the said Air Fryer and bought it; we still don’t eat chips that often, but I have to say, pardon the pun, had to “eat my words” they are very good and fried chicken is amazing! I hope this review helps, enjoy!

    Give it time ...
This is my first Air fryer! My student daughter loves hers and so I thought I’d take the plunge and get one myself, I was really sick of buying, emptying and disposing of 3 litres of oil on the regular!

I did my research and popular tech reviewers like Good Housekeeping magazine rated the Cosori highly so I put it in my Anazon basket and sat wondering if it was really worth the best part of a 100!

Then came a nice little 15 off special offer from Amazon so I went for it!

It arrived next day, very well packaged and it looks great on the worktop, definitely not the eyesore of a stinky deep fat fryer!

It comes with a quick start leaflet and a recipe book.

It’s a great sized basket, we’re a family of 5 and it’s big enough for making most things for us all in one go – enough chips etc or roasties (can there ever be ‘enough’ roasties?)

Now, the first time I used it, stick a bag if frozen chips in and hit ‘play’, shook halfway etc and they tasted like cardboard! Crispy but dry! and I was ready to write it off …

But! I joined the Cosori UK Facebook page and did some reading and tried again, this time I put my chips in a bowl, splash of oil, stirred them around and they tasted perfect!

We’ve since made burgers, chicken, even crumpets in the air fryer! I’m a bit of a play it by eye on the timings but it really uhs a great machine!

Buy it and try it and persevere and you’ll be air frying up a storm in no time!

    Very good choice of airfyer.
We’re on our 5th Actifry & I have a small Salter Airfryer ( & a halogen oven). I wanted a bigger, more versatile Airfyer and after a lot of research, decided this one should fit the bill. I have not been disappointed and have cooked meals in it every day since it arrived. I jointed a whole chicken & it came out crispy on the outside & moist inside. Jacket potatoes are better than done in an oven & much quicker. Obviously, it is best for anything you can fry, using hardly any oil. The Instant Pots do everything else. The Cosori is easy to wash, just soak it for a few minutes in hot soapy water & it’s done. It is a very good addition to all my other gadgets and lives on the worktop for easy access.

This was worth every penny. Used mine almost daily for two months and love everything about it. I clean the basket carefully and so far no deterioration, like other people have reported. I’m definitely an air fryer convert as a result of this purchase. The 5 litre was only a tenner more than the smaller size, and took up a similar amount of unit space. Glad I went large, it fits everything now than comfortably. I took a chance on a brand I haven’t heard of before and I am very impressed.

REPLACEMENT FOR POWER XL AIR FRYER
After just 14 months my Power XL air fryer stopped working and tripped the fuse box out of in my apartment , I tried it 3 more times and it worked for about 10 seconds and it tripped out again .Got on to Amazon and they are arranging a full refund to me so I purchased the Cosori .To be honest apart from the much better square shape it fits into my kitchen much more discretely than the barrel shaped air fryer it seems like it will do exactly the same thing as my old power xl. I’m disappointed by the quality of the gloss finish on the panel as it’s very “cloudy” as if it has a protective film covering however I am loathe to scratch at the panel or pick at it for fear of damaging the face. I hope it last longer than 14 months .As a single person I find an airfryer fantastic for cooking solo meals as opposed to heating up a whole conventional oven for 1 piece of chicken or pork chop .

Just buy it! You won't regret it!
I literally can’t say enough good things about this air fryer. I spent a long time researching which air fryer to buy and went with this after watching a you tube video where the chef had covered logos and wasn’t advertising air fryer. Everything he cooked looked amazing and with a little research I discovered which brand he was using. It looks great and distinctive with a brushed metal effect casing. We use it almost every day. Both myself and my partner are experienced and confident cooks but I wanted to lose some weight and thought an air fryer might help but we were both blown away by how good it cooks food. We have done chicken wings, kebebas, meatballs, bacon, chips, roast vegetables ( great when slow cooking a joint in oven on low heat and the veg need a very high heat) and have been able to get rid of toaster as this does great toast too. I’ve had this air fryer for a month and have left it this long to review it in order to be sure I know what I’m talking about. So…….I LOVE IT.
It is extremely easy to use, easy to cook in, easy to clean and easy to produce fabulous food with very little effort. I wish I’d bought it ages ago. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Love the square shape, it fits nicely on the worktop so looks like it will get more use than the old round style which we had to get rid of due to a couple of faults.
So far we love the results, Chicken legs were perfect. Frozen chips cooked ok with no added oil.
Much prefer it to our old one with its rotary paddle.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAbsolutely fantastic air fryer; easy to use; great size
My family and I absolutely love this. I bought it when the first air fryer I’d purchased, a Phillips, burnt the food when the timer didn’t work (manual timer). After a bit of research I decided to go for an unknown brand (to me). It surpassed our expectations. The 5.5 L capacity means I can do a decent amount of food in the basket. I find if you put too much it, it doesn’t cook as well so tend to cook for 3 – 4 people and do food in batches if there are more of us.
It’s incredibly easy to use. So innovative and simple. There’s a cook book to get you started and give you ideas.
The only negatives are: you have to yank the basket to pull it out as the catch is quite strong. Or use two hands which isn’t always practical. But this is a very small niggle. Secondly, there is a sliding plastic catch to cover the button that releases the basket from the tray. Great idea. However, I find it really hard to press the button as it’s inset and I can’t press it because of my finger nails. I end up having to use two hands and really concentrate so that my fingernail doesn’t catch on the edge and rip off. My nails aren’t overly long and are natural so I think this is a design flaw that should be looked at for future models.
Having said that, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I use it most days and am sorely tempted to buy a second one so that I can cook more in it without having to do batches. I think I’ll wait until the button design on the basket has changed though.
It’s reasonably large so do check measurements and the space in your kitchen. It fits under a hanging cupboard easily and I slide it out when using it (hot steam out the back).
Awesome piece of kit and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Buy one!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBest purchase I’ve made this year!
My life completely changed after I bough this air-fryer. I’ve been using twice/3 times a day. Crusty bread baked every morning in just 5 minutes, grilled vegetables every day, cakes, chicken thighs, sirloin beef.. I could list several things I’ve cooked easily since I bought it. Less time preparing the meals and much more healthy.
It’s square formate makes easy to accommodate it in the kitchen; also helps when you need to cook food in a tray. It fits my Ikea’s glasses food storages.
Best purchase I’ve made this year!

    2ND AMENDMENT, COMPLETELY REWRITTEN REVIEW.

This is a good, value for money device with one weakness: the handle attaching inner basket to main drawer.

But, looking at other makes, it is a design weakness and could be remedied easily.

    My workaround is below.

I bought the largest size to be able to spread food more thinly; it speeds up cooking time considerably and makes it easier to stir not shake.

Received replacement basket today, 6 days after emailing seller in a rage.

The basket seems fine, it’s the right one.

Delivered by DPD, sent from Germany.

Vendor arranged this to be sent to replace the original one which broke after nine months usage – once a day, most days; I burned my hand stopping it dropping to the floor.

If you DO NOT SHAKE THE BASKET!!!!!!! it should be fine.

1: to prep, clean and dry basket and drawer, click together, insert and PREHEAT!

2: when it beeps, remove drawer WITH BASKET STILL ATTACHED, use an oven glove to support the drawer, place on a HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE (I use an old pizza stone), add food, then into unit to cook.

3: when ‘shake alarm’ sounds, remove as above, use PLASTIC spoons – or spoon and slice – to turn the food in situ.

4: drawer back in, to finish cooking.

5: when cooked, remove as above AND ONLY THEN: use button to separate basket, tip basket onto plate or into bowl with kitchen roll to degrease.

6: wait until cool – at least 3 hours – before washing.

NB: EVERY time, BEFORE you use, double check the screws holding the basket to the handle.

When I GENTLY flipped the contents like a pizza, it tended to loosen them, I suspect this was a factor in the handle breaking.

It would be better if the handle had a steel skeleton, covered in places with plastic!

Last comment, when it finishes, press the power button and immediately switch off at wall socket and unplug; before removing drawer.

Very easy to forget to do so.

Not critical, but as a safety measure, not least in case of power surges, a good idea.

    Last of original review:

It was fine for 9 months, although I had to tighten the screws holding the inner basket to the handle every twoish weeks, nonstick didn’t last long.

Cleaning was OK – using kitchen wipes then kitchen roll. Bit tricky round heating element.

14 June 2020: usual protocol; shake alarm beeped, I pulled the drawer out, put it on the pizza stone I use as a HEAT rest, pressed the release to lift – handle came away, basket dropped into main drawer with me acting as a barrier; burnes my hand on the basket.

Was able to get it to finish cycle and it sort of works but not for long.

Maybe just bad luck, but this device favours style over robustness.

I was exceptionally p***ed off at so short a life cycle. I had expected up to 3 years cooking oven chips etc.

NB: oven ready frozen is OK; fresh is a disaster unless you pre steam THEN spray with oil – in a separate bowl!

    Top air frye
I have used for a few months now. Replaced another one from another brand which I had. I was impressed by the other air fryer too.
However this is better in a few aspects. Large size of basket (litre figure is sometimes misleading in air fryer products) but this is actually large. The performance is better, more powerful, means items cook quicker and found them to be cooked evenly with a ‘proper fried’ taste. Also the non-stick coating works well and has not peeled off like my other air fryer.

Just to add COSORI support has been really good when I had a small issue when I first bought this- so gives me some confidence about them. Has worked reliably in the 10 months I have had it.

There is nothing to dislike. I’m really enjoying it. It’s a very good quality. Cooks very well and very quickly as well compared to a conventional oven. Chicken is succulent and all my vegetables nicely cooked. I have bought previously halogen ovens which stopped working after 2-3 uses, always bulb fuses and that’s it. This airfryer is very good and sturdy. Thank you Cosori

UPDATE…I ordered another before receiving the refund as stock was ‘very low’. New one has been working perfectly for the four months since ! …I have revised my rating accordingly.
    Thank you.

A good looking machine which isn’t to big cluttering up the worktop. Mrs C likes clear worktops so it will go in a cupboard. Its simple to use and according to Mrs C even I could use it if she ever gave me permission, but as she said I don’t need to know any more than how to wash the basket. The machine comes with a comprehensive cook book and easy to follow instructions. The only thing Mrs C doesn’t like is the button that releases the basket. It does appear to be a little on the fragile side. Its made of that hard brittle plastic which in my experience never lasts very long. So we will keep our fingers crossed and as we are both aware of it we will be very careful. Mrs C used it for the first time this evening. Technology / machines is one of the s those subjects Mrs C can normally live without but she did throw herself into going through the instruction manual. It took ten minutes the she put in her marinated chicken thighs. It took about twenty five minutes and we had beautifully browned
chillied chicken it looked good and tasted even better. You have to use very little oil i think she used one of those spray oils. So first impressions very good it uses little oil just a couple of sprays and it cooks really quickly .

Okay, to start with, it took a couple of attempts to pull out the basket. We still have to give the basket a little tug, but better that than it comes flying out. Hubby couldn’t wait to try out his new toy, and first on the list was chips. We pressed the button to switch on the fryer, which lit up the panel of options. The accompanying booklet gives instructions for temperature, pre-heat, time etc. When we first switched it on there was a plastic smell, but this didn’t linger. Our first batch of chips was made with spray oil and the second time we used the recommended amount of olive oil – both batches turned out fine and there wasn’t a lot of difference. Half way through the cooking time there is a buzzer which reminds you to shake the basket. We used the ‘keep warm’ facility for our first batch but found the chips weren’t quite so crisp when we served them, however they were still delicious. You aren’t going to achieve ‘deep fried’ chips but they are superior to oven cooked chips. We’ve also tried out whole sweetcorn, again with spray oil, and I much preferred this to the usual boiled version. The recipe book has some amazing dishes – I can’t wait to try out the various recipes for chicken wings. We used three large potatoes cut into chips and they fitted into the basket easily, and it could probably have held 3 to 4 sweetcorns. I hesitated to buy this as I didn’t want it to be another gadget sitting on the bench gathering dust, but I’m sure we’re going to be using this regularly. We don’t put the baskets in the dishwasher, although you can, we find it just as easy to give them a quick wash and wipe dry. This was a good buy, we’re pleased with our purchase and I can’t wait to experiment with it.

i wish i had read more reviews, ours came out of the box, i’m not even sure its brand new as it had a letter missing on the product, and suprise suprise the touchscreen does not work.

having returned the original one, we got sent another one to test, the product worked straight out of the box, we have since only cooked some lovely chunky chips, they came out lovely, i can see us using this air fryer ALOT. therefore i am going to up my review score to 4 for now. if the first one we got had worked properly out of the box i think i would of given this a five star review. Credit to the company for putting customers first.

FOLLOW UP ON THE 6TH NOVEMBER 2021.
the air fryer was in the middle of cooking chips when the electrics flashed a few times and then there was a loud bang. If I hadn’t of been there to unplug it I would guess it was going to catch fire.
    HORRENDOUS AND DANGEROUS PRODUCT.

I purchased my first one a few weeks ago but it was faulty as the touch buttons did not work at all. Returned this to amazon for full refund. I still liked the look of this cosori so thought I’d give them another chance. I was going to go for the dial control version to avoid any touch button issue this time and it was 20 cheaper, but in the end went for the touch button style again. That was about 4 week ago now, and i can now report it has been working great and is very useful, it cooks great, very easy to clean and so much less hassle than using the oven. Be mindful that due to various factors cooking temps and times are slightly different to what you would use in a normal oven, these cook quicker so careful not to overcook or burn! Takes some trial and error, but cooks things brilliantly. I’m even looking for new things to cook in it just because it’s so easy and convenient to use.
The two yr guarantee is a great help to peace of mind.
In hindsight I would have gone for the dial version to save 20, as I don’t think there’s any great advantage to having the touch buttons. Both look great anyway.

    Very happy custome
I love this! I have had it 4 days and so far used it every day! Chicken, bacon, steak, chips, sausages! I adore it. It’s so easy to use and really easy to clean! Diesnt heat up on out side too much so it’s safe! The best parts is how quick it cooks and how it does not stink out the house! Not overly noisy. The oven stops when you open the tray which I like so hot air is not blasted at you! The shake reminder is an excellent feature too. 2 year warranty and a great recipe book! AND, the delivery was meant to be a month which I was fine with as I researched and this was the one I wanted, BUT it was delivered I’m 4 days to me. I am so so happy! Thank you so much.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOutstanding Cosori, outstanding!
    Well, what can I say?.
This Cosori air fryer has totally changed the game in my kitchen, no more heating big power hungry ovens, no more waiting 20 minutes for them to heat up, no more getting on my hands and knees to clean them.
My only regret in the whole purchase of this air fryer is that I sat on the fence for way too long before buying one.
The Cosori is very elegant looking, and all the relevent controls are backlit and easy to understand, there’s a handy pre heat button that hearts the Cosori for 5 minutes, and after that it’s as simple as setting the corresponding button to whatever your cooking.
Heating is achieved by way of a heating element that is convected by a fan, ensuring cooking is even within the device.
Food is cooked evenly and thoroughly throughout, chicken is juicy and fries crispy, and even making simple nachos results in beautifully melted golden cheese.
I’ve even tried a little baking, and the pastries I made were awesome, to the point my wife thought I’d shop bought them.
Even better, the Cosori is as easy to clean as it is to cook with, and with just a soapy kitchen sponge any cooking mess was cleaned spotless in a couple of minutes, returning the item to new for your next use.
If I had any concerns about the Cosori, I’d have to say I’m a little worried about the long term use of the basket, it’s made from fairly light and thin alloy and there is plastic components on the outside of the cooking area that only the test of time will prove it’s longevity, but other than that, it’s a fantastic made product.
So for anyone, who like I was, are debating if the Cosori is a worthwhile purchase, I can hand on heart say it most definitely is.
    Buy it! Buy it now!

This revolutionised our cooking and eating habits
I decided to buy an AF because I was tired at how long and inefficient it was too pre-heat an entire oven, and then coming time on top, just for a portion of chips, etc. Meals would take well over an hour to cook.

I did a lot of research and settled on this Cosori AF (and I caught it on a lightening deal which helps), and all I can say is how glad I am that I did. This has revolutionised our meals.

Cooking chips, chicken (nuggets, breasts, tenders, etc) is so easy and fast that 90% of our meals are now cooked in the AF. I’ve packed my optigrill, etc away.

A hidden suprise is how well it makes toast, and by extension, toasted cheese sandwiches or toasted croutons for soup, etc.

My only gripe is that, even though this is the bigger size, it’s difficult to fit some frozen foods in the basket (e.g. flatbread, which it cooks beautifully such that it’s crunchy on the outside but soft and doughy on the inside). But that’d be the case with any other AF too.

Honestly, this is one of my better purchases. We’re very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery happy with this produc
Overall, I’m happy with this air fryer.
    – It looks great
    – Its very easy to use
    – it was reasonably priced considering the size, quality and positive reviews
    – it comes with a recipe book
    – I used to avoid using my oven due to the cost of running it (I cook for one). Now I can roast and bake in this without worrying as it heats up quickly, cooks faster and it’s smaller so will use less power to maintain the temperature during cooking
    – it’s not that noisy, it sounds like my hood extractor on the lowest setting
    – healthier cooking and eating!

The only downsides so far are:
    – the only way to cook a whole chicken in it (as advertised) is to cut the chickens back and semi “butterfly” spread it as the basket is quite shallow. That’s no big deal though
    – the basket is difficult to remove from the pan (maybe mine is slightly faulty but when I press the button, the basket doesn’t detach the way it should)

Please click “helpful” if you found this helpful. Thanks!

I’m usually wary about unknown brands when it comes to appliances, but after I read the reviews of this Cosori Air Fryer, I decided to take a chance, I’m glad I did, it’s a wonderful machine and so easy to understand and to use, I don’t think it’s that noisey and it’s simple to clean, I’m really happy with this machine, I’ve already done frozen roast potatoes and chips in this at 180 for 18 minutes, also frozen Richmond thick sausages at 180 for 16 minutes and they are all absolutely delicious, I love the fact that the machine reminds to you shake your food halfway through the cooking time, I would definitely recommend this for anyone intending on getting themselves an air fryer.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHands down the best purchase I've ever made
I admit I have a gadget addiction. You name it I’ve probably had or still have it, so I think I can spot the really useful machines that truly help out vs the faddy, takes up too much room, why did I buy that sort of regretful machines!

This Cosori air fryer is hands down the best machine I’ve ever bought. Easy to use & clean and it honestly works. I’ve had it a few days so naturally we’re having fun with the sorts of crispy foods I normally have little success with i.e chips but in time we’ll be enjoying loads of different foods! I’m delighted to report this machine cooks excellent crunchy, fluffy oven chips 25mins, melt in the mouth ribeye, rump and sirloin steak 6 mins, succulent roast chicken pieces 25 mins, apple pie and steak slices took 3 mins to heat up. Quick toddler friendly meals like chicken nuggets or pizza, to mention a few ideas are also quick and easy. Of course there’s scope for loads of meals – you’ll need a few accessories for some but they’re available to buy so kebabs, muffins, even toast are all well within this machine’s abilities with the right tools. The recipe book is unexpectedly good, very straightforward too.

I haven’t had my oven on since this machine arrived because I can cook different meals for my family using one pan. I cook for my daughter first and then when my husband and my meal is cooking I can be feeding Isabelle while it does. I’m enjoying the easy cleanup after cooking – drain excess oil and shove the tray in the dishwasher and you’re done.

Takes 3 to 5 mins to heat up, temperature/time is adjusted at the press of a digital button. You should spray the food with a few squirts of cooking spray but you don’t need a lot. There are presets that help while you learn to cook with it but they are adjustable to taste. I expected it to be huge with it being the 5 litre version but it’s not, it’s neat, square and a glossy black – a similar size to a espresso machine. I found the noise to be minimal too which is useful for an open plan home like ours.

I love that it’s so easy to use after a demanding day and that my toddler can’t reach it on the kitchen side unlike the oven which she has an alarming interest in at the moment. Its a shove the food in and do other things sort of machine. It beeps loudly after the preheat, when it’s time to shake the food using the preset functions and also once it’s finished cooking do you could be in other rooms if necessary.

YouTube has some interesting recipes and reviews you might want to watch before you buy but I would genuinely recommend this to anyone who asks.

    Amazing bit of kit.

We are a family of eight so need a large capacity air fryer. We still have to cook in batches but it fits 4 while chicken legs at a time and cooks them in 25-30 minutes. The flavour with absolutely no oil is fantastic, crisps up just like KFC but way less calories and fat.

Fries are also amazing and take 25 minutes using the pre set fries function. We find half a potato per person plenty (jacket potato size).

It’s super easy to clean, dishwasher proof basket. It’s big but smart looking in all black so looks ok sat on the worktop all the time.

Couldn’t live without it now. We use it to cook homemade chicken nuggets, sausages, bacon, chicken kievs, fish fingers, roasted chickpeas… We once tried churros but the result wasn’t great. Everything else has been really good.

    lovely chips without the guilt.
Sick to the back teeth with oven chips, we thought give the air fryers another go having tried them when they first came out and found that they was too big for the capacity it held and far too noisy, that is NOT the case with the Cosori, well built and well designed and relatively quite in comparison.

Have only cooked chips so far and gosh, they were yummy, every bit as good as from an oil filled chip pan, even the ones that never quite browned were delicious, incredibly easy to clean.

The only negative is the compartment needs a good yank to come free, not a problem for me, but can imagine it being a problem for some, however you don’t know untill you try and if that is the case one can simply return and get a full refund, if your dying for a chip, and lets face it, who isn’t? then go for it, and believe me, you wont be paying almost 4 quid in tesco for a 2k bag of the Mc’s brand of chips which quite frankly will never measure up to the chips this air fryer will produce.

So impressed with this air fryer, so much better than my old Tower one. To be honest I wasn’t going to get another drawer type air fryer because my Tower was the first drawer type I’d bought and I was completely underwhelmed by it. Previously I’d had air fryers with cage/rotisserie in and they were amazing but they are more expensive now and people kept telling me I’d love the drawer type. I’d say lesson learnt with the cheapest type – you get what you pay for and I was never happy with the food cooked in it. Not to mention you can’t get anything to fit in them. In the end I stopped using it and put it in the garage. My brother has Phillips one and loves it but bought a small value brand for his camper van and says if he’d had that first he’d never buy another one.

So why did I order another drawer type? I watch a lot of keto videos on you tube and was impressed when seeing how versatile this and how large the square (much better design) baskets are. After that I watched a lot of Cosori product reviews for the large air fryer and it convinced me to try another one. So glad I did! The drawer size is generous enough I can fit in my smaller cake tins so don’t need to buy special ones. The instructions are much better with these, you will need to adapt temps depending on thickness of frozen food etc but this is no different to a conventional oven. You get warnings to shake the drawer. It comes with a fantastic recipe book – best I’ve ever seen with an appliance! I’ve already done a few recipes and the results were good. Although beware with the bbq chicken one – the salt amount is too high to be able to eat. Lucky for us I added it to oil and ketchup as a marinade so was able to taste it before using it on meat! I made it up second time with some ketchup and tbsp olive oil to use it as a marinade only adding the salt and chilli powders to taste later because the original amounts are way to spicy for my son. You can fit a lot of food inside this one, I got 4 large pork chops in easily. An option that was available with my old air fryer because you aren’t supposed to cook items with fat on in it. They were honestly much nicer cooked in the Cosori than in my fan oven. The marinade also went down well with my very fussy son! Clean up – you do need to wait until the basket is fully cooled. I left it overnight after the pork chops. Was dreading cleaning as you can’t use anything abrasive but they do give you instructions for making a bicarb paste. However, didn’t need it! It cleaned out super easy with a cloth and soapy water. Whatever coating they have on these is amazing.

Final verdict – can’t recommend this enough! It’s definitely worth waiting to buy one until you can spend a bit more. The cheaper ones just don’t compare with ones like this. I’ve learnt this with a few small appliances over the last couple of years. This will be getting used daily along side my oven for baking too. Catering for a keto diet, Coeliac and a diabetic means making all your own stuff so any extra cooking surface is much appreciated!

I absolutely love this air fryer, cooking options are limitless!. You get the same oil fried texture without the excess oil. For crispy food apply oil spray to food. The results are fantastic, no more strong frying smells in the kitchen as the smell of cooking is well contained. It is important not to over-fill for best results. So quick and easy to use. I threw out my old oil fried out and replaced with this. I wished I bought one sooner!

There is nothing to dislike about this fryer,it is nice and big and the square basket holds a lot more then the round ones, chips came out lovely and crisp home made and frozen today I made bread in it and the loaf came out lovely. This fryer can do all what your oven did but quicker and using less electricity.Everything fried came out lovely, and you couldn’t tell the difference from the deep fat fryer, this is also so easy to clean and hardly any mess, can not wait to see what else I can do with this beauty might try a cake, very happy with it and would absolutely recommend this air fryer.

Golden Review Award: 138 From Our UsersCosori Rocks.....
Just received 2 days ago, so I tried the chicken honey soy sauce recipe in the book provided plus home grown veg roasted and it was very tasty and well cooked. So last night tried homemade chips from freezer which I normally cooked in a fryer, not good to much oil. Put in after tossing in a little oil and salt garlic and black pepper and they game out brown and crunchy, lovely. I used preset buttons on these meals and when more confident I shall do more manual recipes. I intend to do a cake to see how it comes out.
As I never new much about airfryers and then a friend mentioned them, I investigated YouTube and comments and picked the Cosori. Why, well I liked the square basket, auto shutoff when checking food and restarting when basket replaced and ease of cleaning. So if you are new to airfryers then you certainly can’t go wrong with this one.
P.S… Just before I go….How many companies get in touch 3 days on with an email telling you that if you have a problem or a question to get in touch. Never in my experience. So good aftercare.. me thinks..

Mine’s been used more than any other appliance in my kitchen since it arrived. It makes no smoke, very little – if any – odour and no mess, and the cooking times are very reliable.

You can make a meal in next to no time – take some chicken pieces and rub a wee bit of oil, pepper and salt into them for flavour and they’re done in 20 minutes while you steam the vegetables. Kebabs or satay sticks work really well once you’ve trimmed the sticks if they are too long.
There are a few things I suggest you bear in mind:
    * This came in a large delivery box, so if you are collecting it from somewhere, plan accordingly. The machine’s box is about 18″x18″x18″
    * Treat the basket with love as it’s delicate. Wash as soon and as gently as possible (I use a microfibre cloth) .It’s important to dry it thoroughly.
    * invest in non-metallic tongs if you don’t already have them so you don’t scratch the basket

The digital display might seem OOT but it works really well. I can’t speak for its reliability after only two weeks, but it has a two year warranty. I wouldn’t allow anyone who was clumsy or heavy-handed near the basket release, as this seems to be the weakest part.

I have a small kitchen, but it fits and doesn’t have a huge footprint.

    In summary, it is superb.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHappy customer .
Nice selection of preset programs which are very easy to use and can easily be adjusted regarding time and temperature if needed . The main thing I like is the large square basket , it’s amazing what it holds .I have cooked chicken thighs and they were evenly cooked and lovely and moist , I have also made my own chips and I have done different times and temperature’s until I was happy with them . I have cooked pork chops and again they were cooked to perfection , overall I am delighted with my Cosori airfryer and I would highly recommend it . I am that pleased wiith my Cosori 5.5L airfryer I have just purchased this second one and so far just as happy with this one , I would highly recommend .

I hve only used it a few times .so far Ive done a nice omlet in the fryer & some of the crispyest chips I hae ever tasted with just a small squert of frylite spay. The only slight disapointment is it is advertised as it can do fahrenheit & celsius but actually the uk model only does celsius it makes it a little awkward when most of the cook books ive bourt are in fahrenheit . Ive knocked it down a star because of that All in all im pleased with my purhase thou
