Kurz zur Vorgeschichte:
Mein Mann wurde von unseren Feunden gefragt – nachdem es bei uns blich ist, fr ein groes Geschenk zusammen zu legen – was ich mir denn wnschen wrde. Eigentlich hatte/habe ich alles aber ein Hobby-/Schneidplotter fr den Heimgebrauch stand schon lange auf der Liste.
Nach 2 Tagen Recherche, Rezensionen und Berichte lesen und Warentests durchforsten waren dann nur mehr 2 Gerte von 2 Herstellern in der engeren Auswahl und ich bin wirklich MEGA happy, dass ich mich fr den Cricut entschieden habe.
Da ich gelernte Grafikerin bin und selbst mal in einer Schilderherstellerei gearbeitet habe, ist mir der Folienplot und die Aufbereitung der Daten nicht neu, deswegen kann ich nichts zu den fertigen Vorlagen sagen ABER:
Ich glaube, es hat keine halbe Stunde vom Auspacken zum ersten fertigen Sticker (inkl. Entgittern) gedauert.
Die Software war fr mich von Anfang an verstndlich, das Einrichten des Plotters ging schnell und unkompliziert.

Muy buena maquina!
Un poco grande si andas corto de espacio…Pero es lo que hay con estas maquinas.
Muy funcional, fcil de instalar y usar. Te viene con su propio programa y puedes hacer muchas cosas en el.
Corta rpido (algo ruidosa) y muy limpio. Acepta muchos materiales y es fcil calibrar cual vas a usar.
Bin absolute Anfngerin. Hatte mir vorab aber einige Videos bei YouTube angeschaut. Bei mir haben sowohl die Einrichtung und auch kleinere Projekte (Fensterbilder, Hochzeitskarte…) auf Anhieb geklappt. Macht richtig Spa mit dem Maker zu arbeiten. Braucht zwar noch ein bichen um mich richtig gut auszukennen, aber meiner Meinung nach ein super tolles Gert.

Poi, invece del cellulare ho usato il pc, ho letteralmente mangiato tutorial, ho studiato il programma, ho acquistato materiale e punte, risultato UNA MACCHINA SPETTACOLARE.
Morale: se non avete un minimo di conoscenza grafica e possibilit di investire altri soldi lasciate perdere. La Cricut ti apre un mondo ma soprattutto la maker necessita di svariate punte se si vogliono realizzare progetti complessi (altrimenti va bene la joy).
Comunque consiglio la Cricut a chi ama lavori handmade e capacit creative. La sconsiglio a chi crede di comprare una macchina che fa tutto da sola.
P.S. Il problema ero io
Ich hatte lange berlegt welchen Plotter ich mir kaufen soll (Zwecks Software, Abomodell usw.). Der Cricut kam trotz des viel verhassten Abomodels in meine engere Auswahl. Wieso? Zum einen haben das die anderen Hersteller inzwischen auch teilweise und es gibt eine App fr mein total normales iPad (kein Pro oder so) und ich mag nicht direkt am Plotter zum einrichten sitzen wie bei den Brother Gerten. Da fand ich das Scannen zwar interessant aber ich kenne mich ich nutze es vermutlich eh nicht.
Der Silhouette Cameo wurde immer wegen seiner Software in den Himmel gelobt, aber das Gert ist aus Plastik (komplett) und man muss Ersatz-Messer komplett austauschen (was fr eine Verschwendung). Die Software muss gekauft werden um SVG Dateien importieren zu knnen … wieso?… Beim Cricut werden die Klingen brigens nur getauscht (Gehuse bleibt… Klingen kosten von Drittanbietern um die 10 Euro fr 10 Stck?). Im Bereich der Folgekosten gnstiger. Dazu gibt es gefhlt mehr Zubehr von Drittanbietern fr den Cricut. Ob das eine gewisse Monopolstellung bedeutet.. hm… kann man gut oder schlecht finden.
und somit stand nur noch Joy oder Maker oder Maker3′ im Vordergrund. Maker 3 war raus (Smart Material war fr mich halt uninteressant), Der Aufpreis ist echt gewaltig und am Zubehr beim Plotterkauf wird noch gespart. ich wollte Schneidematten. Ich bin da vielleicht einfach altmodisch und dieses Smart Material ist mir zu teuer.
Der Joy war zwar deutlich gnstiger, aber ich mag es nicht, wenn ich schon vorher wei, dass ich nicht alles machen kann (selbst wenn ich es nie machen wrde). Platztechnisch bin ich flexibel. Habe eh einen riesen Bastelschrank weil viel gebastelt wird.
Also blieb der ganz normale Maker brig und ich habe brav gewartet, bis er mal in Rosa im Angebot war (3 verdammte Wochen in denen er teurer und teurer wurde und DANN kam endlich der Tag der ‘Instant-Bestellung’).
Die Software (Design Space) ist trotz Erfahrung im Umgang mit solch Programmen jetzt nicht das tollste. Ich finde die Handhabung zwar in Ordnung, aber fhle mich kreativ eingeschrnkt. Hatte mir Probehalber die Software vom Silhouette Cameo geladen (geht auch ohne solch einen Plotter zu besitzen) weil sie immer so gelobt wird. Die ist tatschlich besser. Das Bezahlmodell gibt es aber halt bei beiden. Beim Cricut bin ich zwar mit 20 Designs pro Monat begrenzt, bei Silhouette kann ich dafr nicht alle Dateiformate nutzen wenn ich es Gratis haben mag.
Bei Cricut hat man also 20 freie Designs pro Monat. Fr mich reicht das. Trotzdem dafr 1 Stern Abzug ich will ja nichts gratis runterladen und wre es dadurch nur mit vorgefertigten Designs begrenzt ja, klar. Kann ich verstehen. ABER es geht um EIGENE Ideen (selbst gemalt!) die ich nicht verwirklichen kann. Bzw. halt nur 20 im Monat. Wieso bekomme ich denn auf EIGENE Ideen einen Lockout von 20? Total dumm.
Ich nutze es brigens zusammen mit einem MacBook Pro und normalen iPad (kein Pro). Ist so viel angenehmer gemtzlich auf die Couch hocken, alles vorbereiten und dann ab zum Plotter und dort den Rest erledigen. Das MacBook Pro wre nicht ntig… das luft auch noch auf einfachsten “Kisten”. Klebematte wieder mit ins Wohnzimmer nehmen und nebenbei Serie schauen whrend man alles schick macht (heit wohl entgraten).
Soviel zur Software, nun zum Gert.
Man ist das toll! Es ist optisch schon total wertig. Die Klingen sind in Metall gefasst fhlt sich echt gut an. Das Schnittergebnis ist sehr gut. Ich habe jedoch keinen Vergleich. Aber es ist absolut sauber auch bei feinen Ecken und Kanten. Sticker mache ich (noch) nicht. Kommt auch auf das Vinyl an (bei Papier hatte ich nie Probleme… je nach Vinyl dann schon mal).
Als Neuling ist es alles kompliziert aber da fuchst man sich rein. Vor genau einem Jahr hatte ich mir einen 3D Drucker gekauft und da stand ich auch mit tausenden Fragezeichen. Das dauerte keine 3 Monate und ich war ein halber Profi. Das erwarte ich hier auch. Ist ja keine Raketenwissenschaft. Wer will, der kann und ich will — aber hallo! Was ein Spa.
brigens kann man sich mit so einem 3D Drucker einen Stiftadapter drucken. Dann kann man normale Stabilo (oder diese nachgemachten Stabilo) als Stift nutzen. Vorlagen gibt’s dafr zuhauf gratis und so ein Druck dauert nicht lang. Kann man glaube auch schon fertig kaufen. Ich hab mir das halt selbst gedruckt.
In meinen Augen war der Cricut genau die richtige Entscheidung. Mal schauen wie lange ich mit dem kostenlosem Plan auskomme.

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schnes aber auch zeitraubendes Hobby.
Ich nutze den Cricut Maker hauptschlich fr Vinyl und Flexfolie.
Das Gert zaubert tolle Sachen.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und er arbeitet zuverlssig.

Para m la aplicacin es muy intuitiva, si investigas un poco vas adivinando como se hacen las cosas.
Yo nicamente he “fastidiado” indagando el primer da como 10cm de vinilo, por lo dems es fcil calcular los tamaos.
Viene con el tapete rosa (para tela), el tapete azul (para materiales finos como vinilo), cuchilla de corte fino y cuchilla de tela.
El tamao es bastante grande y tiene buen peso, como bien detalla la descripcin del producto.
Yo estoy muy contenta.

Facile da usare… Intuitiva…ci sono poi tantissimi tutorial e indicazioni su come progettare creare…. Per ora ho tagliato carta e vinile… Proceder con il legno. Anche il programma di progettazione l’ho trovato buono
Ravie de cet achat. Cr j’adore encore pas mal de test mais facile prendre en main. Il y’a bien les 2tapis un bleu un rose. Deux lame un rotative et une lame Fine. La prise franaise et anglaise inclus dedans. Ravie de ce matos.

Sehr tolles Gert fr Kreative Kpfe.
Macht was es soll und schneidet viele Materialien przise.
Etwas laut aber nicht schlimm.
Ein Stift mit Halterungen,2 Schneidematten , ein Rollschneider , etwas Pappe zum ben und eine Schneideklinge sind mit bei.
Das Gert kommt sehr Qualitativ rber und es macht sehr Spa damit zu arbeiten wenn man sich ein bisschen damit auseinander gesetzt hat. Leider keine richtige Bedienungsanleitung fr die App bei , aber man kann sich alles ber YouTube oder der Cricut Seite anschauen bzw. belesen.
Wenn man direkt ber cricut Projekte etwas machen mchte muss man entweder ein Abo abschlieen um den vollen Umfang zu haben oder man kauft jedes Projekt einzeln.

I love my maker, I have make some vinyl decals, and planner stickers, all works beautifully. Endless posibilities – just craft and enjoy. A small disability – if you want to use all the cricut design space possibilities and design, you have to pay 10 USD monthly fee. But for basic project and if you have own designs (from etsy for example) you can work without paid access. Working mat – 30×30 cm, you can buy 30x 60 cm too. I recommend to order immediately with the machine additional mats, some vinyl, transfer tap and scoring pen so you can craft right after unpacking.
I have manuall cutting machine too, but you are limited with its width and holding of cutting dies.
If you need to make something quick, you can have design from internet in one minute and craft immediatelly with cricut. No need for space for storing of cutting dies….
I’d been looking at cricut machines for about 2 years and kept talking myself out of it. Finally got one and to say I wish I’d got it 2 years ago is an understatement. It’s brilliant so easy to use and so many options with different projects to make. So don’t do what I did, just buy it. You’ll be glad you did
Ich finde den Plotter wirklich toll. Er schneidet die Sachen gut. In die Software und den Umgang mit den Materialien muss man sich halt erst hineinarbeiten – habe ich aber nicht anders erwartet.

Das Zubehr ist allerdings sehr teuer, lohnt sich fr Leute die viel basteln und Spa daran haben.

Muy contenta con la compra, tengo que aprender a manejarla para sacarle todo el jugo, pero por ahora es fcil de usar e instalar. Hace muy bien los cortes y corta muchsimos materiales (con la cuchilla adecuada).
Es preciosa, llego muy bien empaquetada y rpido, funciona a la perfeccin y el precio el ms barato del mercado. La recomiendo.

Habe schon einen Autoaufkleber (Plotterfolie) mit externem Graphikprogram (Inkscape) hergestellt, Schneeflocken (adhesive Folie) im Arbeitsbereich zusammen gebaut und ein T-Shirt (Bgelfolie) mit kostenlosen Designs hergestellt.
Bin auf jedenfall zufrieden, es gibt noch viel auszuprobieren ist aber schon viel Arbeit, wenn man nicht nur die Vorlage verwenden und kaufen mchte.
Eine gute Anleitung ist leider nicht dabei gewesen, so habe ich erst ein paar Fehler gemacht und enttuscht. Doch wenn man den Dreh raus hat, macht es mega viel Spa.

La mquina en s es muy bonita. Lo nico que no me gusta es que no viene libro de instrucciones y luego en materiales de prueba solo me ha llegado un trozo de tela del tamao de una mano, una ridiculez para el precio que tiene. Por lo dems estoy contento. Solo falta ponerla en marcha ya que me he llegado hoy 18/10/2021.
I brought this a little worried I wouldn’t be able to use it as I’m not tech minded at all , but it’s soooooo easy to use , and the set up is more than simple.
This works with your phone and you can set it up on your phone and then send prints directly from your phone ! It’s amazing! I’m so glad i brought it and highly recommend it.
This is an amazing product. If you like to craft it can do it. Fabric (quilting) shapes all the same shape and size. cards with exact cuts. Paper flowers. Hot vinyl t-shirt prints. The list is almost endless.
As a professional baker I was spending a small fortune on cake toppers & acrylic charms, discs and paddles to go on my cakes. After doing a bit of research I settled on the Maker as I wanted to cut acrylic and it does but you need to use 020 acrylic ( and a knife blade) anything else is too thick.
Within an hour of unboxing and several YouTube videos later I had made my first glitter card topper for a wedding cake.
I have since made more and acrylic charms and paddles with good success.
The design space software is complicated and takes some getting used to. YouTube videos have been very helpful. I have not tried complex toppers with layering yet but I can see this machine has great potential.
A great addition to my equipment.

Well if you’re reading this you’re interested in crafting, this is my first and only machine and I’m so glad I decided on this one.. the possibilities are endless I’ll never be bored again! My only gripe is the cricut software which could be so much better (it will be if you pay a monthly fee). I’d advise anyone to download the app and have a play around first.. this type of thing is not for everyone.. happy crafting

Ich bin schwer begeistert! Zum Angebotspreis von 365 habe ich ihn bestellt und er ist das Geld auf jeden Fall wert!
Die Arbeit mit dem DS, der zugehrigen Software, bringt mich teilweise zwar zur Verzweiflung, allerdings bin ich seit 7 Jahren auch die Silhouette Software gewhnt (die leider viel viel mehr Mglichkeiten bietet als der DS von Cricut).
Der Cricut ist leise, przise und liefert unfassbar gute Ergebnisse bei smtlichen Papierarten ab. Und das mit einem Schnitt.
Die Maschine selbst ist solide und schwer verarbeitet, im Vergleich dazu wirkt der Cameo wie billiges Kinderspielzeug. Der Maker schneidet zudem sehr leise und angenehm.
Das Zubehr ist zwar teuer in der Anschaffung, bietet aber unendliche kreative Mglichkeiten.
Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits!

I am relatively new to the Cricut family and decided if I was going to get one I wanted one that did everything, I was not disappointed. Since it arrived I have not stopped using it, I have cut Vinyl, cardstock, leather, HTV and it has impressed me every time. For an honest review I would have to say that for the money it is slightly disappointing that you only get the fine point blade and rotary blade included with the machine however it is enough to get you going. I have purchase most of the addition tools to go with it and although they seem to be rather pricey once you have them the parts which you need to change thereafter are not.
I would recommend that you ask yourself why you want the machine? If it is for a bit of fun and you just want to make bits and bobs for friends and family then I would look at a cheaper option, there are several other Cricut machines and alternative branded cutters available. If you are using this machine as a business tool to make money then I would say go for it, it saves time, there are so many possible avenues you could venture down with just one machine, Its cutting power is amazing and as a bonus its not bulky or ugly looking.
Again, once you have the machine and open the Cricut design space you realise that what you can see is not available to you without a subscription. This can be rather annoying, however I weighed up the pros and cons of the subscription. I pay to have music, additional cloud storage, television subscriptions etc and they bring me pleasure. For 7.49 a month I can unlock all of this additional material and it will not only make me happy, it will make me money! If you are super talented or have subscriptions to other design software there is the option of uploading your own designs which comes in very handy and costs nothing.
Overall I am really impressed with the machine, its capabilities and the software available. I would definitely recommend this machine.
Bought the cricut maker as a gift to myself to make my own cards etc. The machine is so versatile and there is no end to the things you can make and do with it . I love it!!!

Le ct ngatif c’est que tout est en rupture de stock partout, alors… compliqu d’acheter par exemple les feuilles de foil de la marque, ou les autres couteaux, lames etc….
The Machine itself… I absolutely Love it! I’m glad I got the maker rather than the explore air 2 as it can do so much more! Granted I’m yet to use all these extra features, but I’ve only had it for about 2 months so far and it is costly to get each extra item (e.g. the Knife blade) to be able to do the extra things, it will be a gradual progress! All I can recommend is do your research and see what is right for you, there are plenty of Facebook groups to help and advise. I’m so glad I got the rose colour as it’s so pretty to look at. I use it at least once a week, it would be more if I didn’t have to work! I hope I can incorporate it into a business one day! It is expensive to start but such a fun hobby! I find myself trying to find projects to do all the time and was very useful to make Christmas & Birthday gifts and cards.
Delivery… it arrived in great condition, with the Uk plug, 2 mats, 2 blades -everything as described. However, it didn’t arrive when it said it would! I did purchase as a Black Friday deal so would of been around Christmas, which deliveries everywhere are notorious for delays never mind during a pandemic and lockdown! But I would of been very impressed if it arrived within the short period it originally advised, as it was apparently coming from abroad. It advised 3 days delivery but actually took about 7 days. But I think that’s reasonable considering reasons mentioned above, and it arrived ok and intact! Very happy!
There are lots of bundles out there but it worked out better for my money personally to buy the maker and extras separate! Thank you!

So I have nothing to compare this to with it being my first machine of this type but I am amazed by the things people are making with them, there’s some utterly amazing things and I hope as I learn more that I can do at least half as good as they are. I love the little storage compartment in the front, that’s great for putting the blade tools etc in. It’s very easy to set up and connect, the hardest part is learning how to use the software which is a bit daunting at first But you soon start to pick it up. Even if you don’t need one buy it because you will soon realise you do!
I’m happy now my replacement is up and running & I can carry on making gifts for friends and family.
Love it been wanting a Cricut for ages and glad I went straight for a maker as lots of possibilities
I’ve never used a Cricut before although I’ve always wanted one. My boys asked if I wanted it for my birthday, to which of course, I said yes! Everytime I put this machine to work it does the job beautifully. Design Space, the dedicated software needed to send jobs over to the machine does have a few little hiccups, but being able to workon designs on the go using your phone or tablet is great! I messed about with some vinyl yesterday and I purposely picked a small intricate design. The Cricut cut it out perfectly. You most certainly need the basic tools set but I managed with some very fine curved tweezers. The spatula though, that is a godsend! If you are thinking of getting one, dont hesitate! You will love it. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit.

The other accessories are not so great. Included with my machine were two mats. Both mats arrived bent over the machine and now cannot lie flat. I’ve tried flattening them with no success. This has caused jamming in the machine and materials to peel up from them. (Hence the four instead of five stars)
This would not be an issue if replacement mats were cheaply available…. however all official cricut mats, materials and accessories are unbelievably expensive! Thankfully there are many cheap knock off brands which make mats, materials and other tools which work perfectly in the Cricut Maker with no issues. Overall, it’s a fabulous machine, cannot recommend it enough!
