I’m loving this
I not only love how this looks on kitchen top but I love what it does, celeriac really mashes to pure with the masher leaving no lumps. The masher is probably the worst part to clean but it’s still not difficult. It has a few different speeds to which blend or mash and it really does look smart. I don’t think it’s such a bad price either for the what it does.
Ideal for boatlife
Bought this as a present for a mate who lives on a narrow boat with 12V power. He charges it whilst at his job and gets loads of use from a single charge whilst home on the boat. Raves about i
Storage
Love the machine itself. Very easy to use and does a great job. My only gripe is that there is no storage for the extras. Surely it would be simple to incorporate a little rack of some kind in charging base to accommodate the whisk and masher so they are handy when I want use them.
Pricey but well worth i
This is a great hand blender. It made short work of my soup mixture and is great for mashing spuds. I am really happy with this and would recommend it.
It holds it’s charge very well. I have used it several times over the space of a couple of weeks since I received it and I only had to charge it for the first time this week.
Don’t hesitate to buy one.
Off grid living
I bought this for use when camping, but it is now my mixer etc of choice at home.
Love it!
Love it! Beautiful mashed potato. Whisk brilliant. And so easy to use.
Great Kitchen Gadge
So I have now decluttered my kitchen of 3 (yes 3 ) Potato mashers?? an old whisker and a hand blender that never really blended anything much, possibly your finger if you lost patience.
This Cuisinart is good looking, easy to use and sits quietly on the kitchen top minding its own business until you need it. It makes super smooth mash, still has the power to fling cake mix all over your walls and can blend in better than a chameleon in a bank robbery.
Its definitely worth the money, I mean I had 3 mashers?? thats got to be a least 9 wasted
Easy
I really like it but It’s not as fast as my old one only down side to this really
Perfec
Perfect in every way. Easy instructions. Easy to charge. Easy to use. Easy to clean, what I felt was missing is a bowl for chopping. However, wouldn’t change it for the world.
Effective cordless kitchen tool
Cordless feature is great. Multiple tools are easily changed. Whisk is very handy. Weight may be a problem for very small people but I find it fine. Lokks good on its charging stand out on the worktop.
Superb item
Brilliant item, which was delivered very quickly.
Easy to use and to clean after use.
The item looks great, and stores nicely in the supplied charging stand.
Battery life very good, and lights on the unit clearly show when charging is required.
Fantastic
An excellent hand blender. Far better than my previous commercial grade corded stick blender. Easy to use. The safety feature requring 2 hands to start the blender is easy to use and sensible. Very pleased.
A very decent cordless stick blender ...
I’ve always been impressed with Cuisineart products and I am still using after a number years of excellent service an Cuisineart coffee machine. I was really looking forward to giving this Cuisinart CSB300BU 3 in 1 hand blender a go … and I wasn’t disappointed.
Anyway this little machine is an absolutely top of the range stick blender, in looks as well as performance. First up we have the design … a very sleek looking machine in beautiful brushed stainless steel and robust dark grey plastic.
This stick blender comes with the following: a whisk attachment, a blending attachment also made in stainless steel, a masher made in robust plastic and a stand which also doubles as a charging station. This is a cordless hand blender which makes using the blender even easier … no more stretching a cord to breaking point trying to reach the saucepan on the cooker to blend the soup.
This blender has a nice chunky feel and feels weighty in the hand. The handle itself is quite tall standing at 19cm in height. Operation is as simple as pushing choosing a speed and pushing a button … and the blades makes quick work of anything you throw at it. This stick blender has a choice of five speeds which should be perfectly adequate for most people’s needs.
Charging takes around 2.5 hrs and once fully it gives you about 20 minutes running time. The whisk does a very good job of whisking cream, egg whites and batters. The masher produces fluffy lump free mashed potato.
Since receiving this stick blender I have had it out on my worktop (it comes with its own very neat looking stand), this means that it is to hand whenever I want to use it (no more searching the utility room and kitchen cupboards) and thanks to this I have been using it almost every day for smoothies or soups.
All in all a brilliant tool and well worth the 119 (current asking price at the time of this review) …
Couple of months in...
Reviewing this in the middle of Christmas baking season so it has now been well used. I’ll start with the negative – although another review describes it as ‘sleek’, it isn’t. It is huge. The box amazon shipped it in made my think I was getting a fridge freezer or something rather than a hand-blender. It is a substantial beast and wherever you choose to keep it, it will rob you of either a chunk of counter or cupboard space. That said, for it’s job it is very good. It comes with the right mix of tools (masher, blender, whisk) and I’ve been banging them all in the dishwasher with no issue yet. Cordless is without doubt brilliant in a busy kitchen – the trade off is that in a mammoth session you do risk running out of charge. I reckon you get 20-25 minutes worth of it working on a charge. It is very very rare that you would need more than that amount of time of it actually doing its job – but if you plan a substantial catering event that may be worth considering. For every day though, if you have the space this is a serious piece of kit that does all three jobs very well.
A big beauty
This Cuisinart 3 in 1 hand blender is great. Firstly, the fact it is cordless is a joy, meaning you can quickly move around the kitchen doing different jobs, just switching out the attachments as required. As it also looks cool (and it’s big!), and has its own charging stand, it’s quite a feature in the kitchen, and wouldn’t be something you just shove in the draw once used.
It has a metallic finish, but is made from plastic. This is not a concern though, as it feels sturdy and well made. You get three attachments, one for chopping, one for whisking, and finally one for mashing. They all do their jobs well with great efficiency, and once finished are all very easy to clean. There’s also multiple speed settings to ensure you get the appropriate consistency for whatever food you are preparing.
Appropriately priced given the quality of the piece of kit you’re getting, and the other things it can replace in your kitchen. Coupled with a 5yr guarantee, this is great value.

HAND
=====
Handheld blenders are great for quick, easy blending and chopping jobs. I like to use them for making soups, dips or pureing food.
For heavy duty you’ll need a processor, but for most things this is my goto kitchen tool.
This is the normal size but looks lovely. It’s really stylish and looks rather fetching. The size means it’s easy to store and it’s really simple to wash – it has few parts clean.
LOOKS
=======
This is a top end hand blender. There are a few in this range.
EASE OF USE
============
It has a glider that allows you to speed up, or slow down the speed. It feels really good to use. 5 speeds.
AREN’T THEY ALL THE SAME
========================
I know some have commented that you can get some blenders that aren’t as dear. But that’s like comparing a Porsche with a Citroen.
You can pick up a basic model for a few quid but premium hand blenders do cost. So you may ask, what’s the difference?
A basic one usually has a simple press and hold control button with one blade. And usually white plastic.
You then have models like this which has has additional speed settings and loads of extra features. The build quality is also much better. The materials are notable better too.
BLADE
======
Looks solid and is titanium coated.
MASH
======
It has a blender, masher and mixer.
OVERALL
=========
I love it. It’s one of the best hand blenders I’ve used.
I like stick blenders, they’re one of my favourite kitchen gadgets, and one of the most regularly used in my kitchen. This cordless version is a bit different to others I have owned. The obvious difference is that this is a rechargeable unit that can be used away from a plug socket — I like that I can use this in a pan on the hob top, without trailing electrical cable over the hob. It’s also useful not being confined by proximity to a plug socket, and not having to juggle between devices plugged in next to the cooker.
The built in rechargeable battery unit means that the stick blender itself is a bit larger and heavier than other stick blenders I’ve owned. It’s not unwieldy by any means, but the handle is about a third longer than mains powered offerings from Tefal and Kenwood. In use, this is powerful and effective. It blends nicely, and there are 5 different speed settings. The all-metal blender attachment is perfect for use in even the most vividly colourful of soups and curry pastes, and unlike plastic attachments doesn’t stain.
The blender can be charged in two ways: either by attaching the main leads to the charging stand, and docking the handle on to the stand, or by attaching the lead directly to the powered handle. The latter is particularly useful if the battery is running low, as the blender can be connected to the charger and used while it starts to recharge (as long as the battery hasn’t completely depleted). There are clear, and quite sizeable indicator lights on the handle — including a battery status indicator. The battery power source doesn’t seem to result in this being less powerful than a mains blender. A charge lasts for about 20 minutes of consistent use. This seems plenty to me. I can’t imagine a situation in which I’d need to be using it for in excess of a few minutes at a time – for prolonged whisking, I have a stand mixer.
I like this blender a lot. It’s practical, well-made, and effective. The rechargeable battery power source is a game-changer. But between the price point and the range of accessories included I wouldn’t have bought it: it doesn’t replace a corded version for my usage. This comes with potato masher and whisk attachments in addition to the regular blending end. No blender beaker, no mini chopper, no extra-wide foot for blending soups. The whisk and potato masher are attachments I pretty much never use — I prefer my (manual) potato ricer for making a lovely, silky, lump-free mash; whilst for whisking I use a manual balloon whisk for quick tasks and my stand mixer for longer ones. After trying the attachments with this Cuisinart stick blender, I don’t see this changing. Conversely, this doesn’t have my favourite attachment, a mini chopper, and nor does one seem to be available to buy as an add-on. If I outright replaced my old blender with this, I’d need to buy a separate mini chopper.
Although convenient and smart in design, this is quite an expensive stick blender that doesn’t include a particularly comprehensive set of attachments.
If you’ve never owned a cordless stick blender, you’ll not know how much easier and more convenient they are compared to a normal plug in blender. I use mine regularly, just grabbing it and off I go. It has all the power I need for soups, potatoes and much more. I would not go back to a normal blender, now.
This Cuisinart model replaced a Braun that had begun to lose battery power too quickly; sadly that excellent model is no longer available. The Cuisinart is more compact than the Braun, so is easier to store on my kitchen worktop. It’s just as powerful and just as useful. I love cooking and would give it 10/10 if I could.
Powerful sleek looking kitchen tool
This is a very impressive kitchen tool from Cuisinart – the good impressions (as they always do) start with the packaging – this cordless processor comes attractively boxed – on opening you’re presented with the Hand blender, Blending attachment, Whisk attachment, Whisk gearbox, Masher attachment, Masher gearbox, a charging stand and a small user manual. The blending attachment has very sharp blades and as other reviewers have said, is only covered with a very flimsy bit of plastic- care is needed handling this attachment.
A 2 and a half hour charge of the hand blender on the charging stand gives around 20 minutes of cordless operation in the kitchen and the 3-in-1 tool allows for blending -with the sharp bladed attachment – whisking – and best of all, mashing, with the rugged plastic mashing tool – this provided outstanding, lump free mashed potato with minimum effort.
The blender is easy to operate, has 5 speed settings which are easy to switch between and feels ergonomically designed- it just feels right when you’re operating it….
It’s quite big – but feels solidly built and powerful enough for most kitchen jobs – it also looks very sleek and modern, sitting in its charging stand in the kitchen. A very nice product but loses one star due to not working out a storage solution for the sharp blades blender attachment.
**This is an IN-DEPTH review. If you want the bottom line please SKIP to the CONCLUSION at the end.
This blender is sleek, especially if you, like me, love gadgets. It’s one you can leave on the counter in it’s charge pod. I’ve already had comments form guests, as it stands tall and proud and looks unusual and futuristic.
I love the metallic finish but bare in mind this unit is plastic, except for the mixer attachment.
The blade on the mixer attachment looks the business, very sharp pointy tips. Great for food. Not so great for fingers.
A protective guard would have been a welcome addition, much like my Sage appliances do.
Rather, when unboxing, the blade was covered by a flimsy disposable plastic cover (see pic). Not something you can keep and not easy to put back on once removed.
The masher, is made of a quality plastic. It’s solid, yet easy to clean by detaching the blade, with a simple twist to unlock, and soaking in a bowl of warm water for about 30 minutes.
It doesn’t have a mash sizing option like another appliance I’ve used.
The instructions are well written, only English text is included. The book contains ten recipes too – a few simple ones, so you can get your bearings with this unit.
The downside with this one is that it only holds a 20 minute charge – when I’m making mini meringues, I can be mixing for close to 40 minutes in total with the batches. So this is something to consider if you’re an advanced cook.
Though the power handle itself can be connected directly to the mains lead, bypassing the charge pod. But this defies the point of having a cordless unit.
The power handle is quite tall at 25cm on its own, and 48cm with the mixer attached, just short of 19 inches.
Some may consider it heavy for a hand blender, even without the attachments. Weighing in at 690g alone. It’s still lighter than my Kenwood kMix hand mixer which weighs 1.4kg.
It also requires two hands for swithing ON, which then locks down after 2 seconds of inactivity. This ensure both hands are clear of the sharp moving blades.
CONCLUSION:
Great for everyday use, not so great if you’re an advance cook as it only holds a 20 minute charge. Though it can be plugged into the mains.
Very tall at 19 inches and weighty by soup stick blender standards.
Looks stylish and fits into a modern kitchen. It does take some getting use to with the height, weight and two handed safety ‘ON’ function which then locks down after 2 seconds of inactivity.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but for a niche market.
Is this for you? If you like in-vogue gadgets and want to have something a little unusual on your worktop and are able to put up with my listed flaws, then it might just be for you. I like it!
I try to leave fair and honest reviews, as I myself, really appreciate a genuine review before I decide on my own purchases.
Hope this review helps you decide whether this product is for you. If not, I am happy to answer more questions!
