Accroch sur une de mes cannes Carpe, je peux lancer aisment ce Deeper plusieurs mtre de la rive et de pouvoir galement sonder la/les profondeur(s) pour prospecter de nouveau lieu de prise possible.
Trs bon produit, j’en suis ravis, il m’a permis de rcuprer pas mal de trs belles prise, donc des carpes de plus de 20Kg. Un peu cher, mais cela permet de prospecter les fonds sans avoir recours au plomb sondeur d’autrefois et d’aller bien plus vite. Je recommande.
It works! I’m a novice angler, so I can’t speak too much to how well it tracks structure or vegetation (though you CAN see it). But I do know that I t’s put me on fish, and I’ve caught them. I previously purchased an off-brand castable sonar device, and this seems much more accurate and reliable. (For example, the other one would tell me I was on about 5 feet of water, when I could clearly see the bottom and it was two.)
I also like that you can turn the fish icons on and off, so that you can get better at interpreting the sonar returns for yourself. That wasn’t an option on the cheaper, off-brand one that I had.

jury still out. trying to figure out how best to use it. its finding something but the tutorials on it are not the best. so figuring out what ur looking at is tough if u have never used one. best to ask an experienced sonar reader to teach u how to interpret what u see. but other than that, I think this can be a beneficial tool to shore fishing.
Bought this device for the ice-fishing couple weeks ago and I was quite impressed by its main features. It is powerful, light and hassle free. Before purchase read some reviews that phone battery won’t last long during winter so I simply tried to keep it warm and bought a winter case cover (around 25$) – I think this as well is being produced by deeper.
Really excited for the open water season, should be a great tool for it.
This unit is solid GOLD. Works awesome as a flasher for ice fishing. Waiting for the ice to melt to use it on local lakes. I was stoked at ease of use and quality of product. AWESOME
For the price you really can’t beat this little fish finder. Works just as good as my higher end fish finders, yes it does have less features than them. It still puts you on the fish. The only con I have is I wish it changed faster.

Used the Deeper Pro ice fishing next to my buddy who was using a Vexilar flasher. Holes were about 4 feet apart in the ice house. Got some interference from the Vexilar transducer but not bad, the Deeper Pro still worked fine. In ice fishing mode, the Deeper Pro worked at least as well as the Vexilar and looked cleaner. Saw fish coming in on the Deeper Pro that never showed up on the Vexilar. Cool feature is the recording option. Nice to be able to look back to see what happened. Battery ran continuously for 4.5 hours and was still at 38%. My phone didn’t last that long – I has a small cell phone battery pack with me, so not a problem (highly recommended). Overall, a very cool product. A fraction of the size of the sensor, much less space in the ice house and much easier to use than the Vexliar.
Works great, I can see the fish well on the graph. Just as good as a vexilar for a cheap price. Only thing is when you use smaller jigs you have to turn sensitivity up higher but that doesn’t bother me much

Highly recommended to up your fishing game. Took this out on the local lake and it easily identifies where in the water column the fish are feeding, making targeting them easy. This will definitely give you an advantage when fishing lakes. Haven’t tried it in any other situations but am thrilled with how it works on lakes.
UPDATE: Works awesome all year. Definitely good in less than -4F temps. No interference with Vexilars, even 2 feet away. I also found it helpful to bring a portable battery bank for recharging phone and ball.
I use it in summer by dragging behind a R/C boat. Can find the exact spot of the crib/drop off/weed edge and drop my bobber exactly on the spot. In the photo it’s a little difficult to see but there are 2 straws to keep the musky line from getting tangled in the prop.

I did have an issue with the unit and recharging after the first use. Deeper’s Customer service team responded via email the following day with instructions to get a replacement, and even followed up after that to make sure I was pleased.
I was super skeptical about this, but it has been nothing but amazing for ice fishing, a third of the price of some flashers and works just as good.
Excellent for ice fishing takes up little space in the tent and no wires to worry about!
I am very pleased with the deeper pro. Caught more fish through the ice this year then the previous years without sonar.
Despite having some difficulty registering our device and making an account, it works great.
The positives of the device: it’s sensitve enough to mark small fish and detect a small ice jig. I was able to see fish on the flasher and sonar screen. I could drop my jig right to them in 20 feet of water, watch them come up off the bottom to eat my jig, and see when the fish was right on it. It absolutely will help an ice fisherman catch more fish. By knowing a fish is after you’re offering, you’re able to focus on the bite itself which can be very subtle at times. It is very portable. I was able to drill a number of holes and quickly scan them for activity. It’s easy to pack and transport. The flasher and it’s split screens are very useful combined, and colorful, thus showing what you’re bait offering and the fish are doing. I liked not having a transducer hanging down in the same hole I was fishing. When pulling a fish through the opening the deeper device did not interfere. You often have to remove a transducer or the fish/line gets tangeled in it. I had read about delay in returns. I saw no delay. If I jigged my bait I instantly saw it on the screen. It was just about as real-time as you can get.
The negatives: If others are using sonar in close proximity you will see interference. Again, watching videos that show this allow you to understand when it’s occurring. Although a pain, I still was able adjust sensitivity to see fish marks and my small ice jig at depths of 20 feet.
I used the device in very cold conditions (under 10 adgrees f) for approximately 3 hours. It was fully charged when I began and at 75% when I ended. The iPad mini I used wasn’t as forgiving. It was 100% when I began and at 17% when I quit. I suspect that’s more due to the cold temps and not attributed to the deeper device or app use itself. I’ve rigged up a small insulated lunch bag to hold my iPad for the next trip. I’ll add a couple disposable hand warmers to the lunch bag when it’s cold hoping to keep my iPad warmer and extend its battery life. More to come on that. That is all I have for negatives.
If you’re a diehard ice fisherman and fish often, I’d spend the money on a good flasher. If you’re a person who ice fishes once or twice a week in the winter, this device will work for you and not hit the wallet as hard as a flasher. I’ve given the device 4 stars, mainly because of battery life issues that will arise with the usage of the device combined with a cell phone or tablet. It’s a good concept but the usage of a cell or tablet is the weak link in cold weather conditions. I’m sure it may be much better in warmer temps.
The sonar and capabilities of multi season use for this device is good hence the 4 star rating.
The Deeper Pro has 3 different modes and tend to use either flasher or standard mode while ice fishing. For me, standard mode seems to be more accurate while ice fishing, depicting what is beneath you more clearly than flasher mode. Regardless both flasher and standard mode work as expected and have helped me catch more fish than without it. The third mode is for being on a boat, which I haven’t used up until this point.
Battery life for this on the ice is around 4 hours, maybe a touch longer than that, but less than what is advertised. This has been pretty consistent since I’ve gotten it, and not something that has degraded over time. I would imagine the cold environment associated with ice fishing is harder on the battery than if it was summer time temps. While this is quite less than your flasher battery, I’ve used a portable device charger to get around this. The Deeper application gives you constant feedback on battery life and once its getting close to dead, I take it out and charge it up, which only takes about 30 minutes to get back to full power. For some this will be a deal breaker, as a regular flasher will most likely last you all day without having to do this.
The biggest issue I have found so far is when you try using your Deeper next to a buddy who is also using a Deeper. Signal interference is huge and there is no way to cancel this out. While you can still see fish on your screen, there is definitely some feedback and it makes it more difficult than it needs to be. I haven’t had this around someone else who has a true flasher, I would imagine with the amount of power a traditional flasher gives you, the feedback may overwhelm what your Deeper is reading. If I ever fish with someone who has a flasher I will be sure to update everyone on how this went.
What I’ve said may seem somewhat of a negative review, but personally its not, I just want all of you to really know what to expect if you purchase this for ice fishing. While it has some short comings when compared to a traditional flasher, where it excels at is mobility. You can’t put a flasher in your coat pocket and walk around with it. It also is about as light as a cell phone, another plus. I’ve talked to a lot of my friends who ice fish, and all of them know somebody who bought a Deeper and have heard only good things. It will help you catch more fish, like it has for me. It may not be as accurate as a true flasher, but it still can get the job done. If you are in a position like I was, not wanting to spend at least another $130 for a flasher, buy this you won’t be disappointed. If you can afford $300 for a starter setup flasher, get the flasher, but at the end of the day buy what will make you happy. Trading off some of the bells and whistles a true flasher offers, for more mobility and convenience when running and gunning on the ice.

My past experiences with ice fishing pretty much consisted of drilling a hole and hoping there were fish. This little gizmo has changed the way I fish. It’s way easier to transport that a conventional fish finder, the interface on the phone is easy to read and use, and most importantly it finds fish. I would recommend this to anyone and several of my friends have told me that they are going to be getting one

I purchased this mainy to use for ice fishing. Unfortunately did not get many opportunities to use it as ice has not been thick enough and I ordered it kind of late in the season. It does however work quite nicely. I like how it has both a classic flasher display and a classic fish finder type graph over time. I honestly used the graph more, you could see the fish come off the bottom and go to look at your lure and see how youre jigging. Havent seen any suspended fish. Bite was always slow so i mainly deadsticked it. This was my first season so i am excited for next year! I had issues with my phone turning off from being cold on one really cold day. It helped to keep my phone in my pants pocket under my snowpants to keep it warm and only take it out while fishing. With a back up battery i got about 3 hours of fishing in with my phone on airplane mode. But on the really cold days i would give up before my battery died anyway. The phone battery is really no fault of the fish finder itself, but it is something to consider if you want a flasher for ice fishing. That being said this is half the price of a normal flasher and is more useful in the spring and summer. I will probably use it on my raft and casting from shore for the hell of it. Also it has to be in the water or plugged in to be able to connect to it. There is a bit of a learning curve with the app but once you get the hang of it, it is not so bad.

Bought it for ice fishing, great at marking fish, like 5 inch perch. Only problem I’ve found is that fishing in the same ice shanty as someone with a vexilar, there transmitter really messes up your graph, but over I love the product and can’t wait to test on a boat and from shore.

I received this in the middle of December. I live in Northwest Montana, so I have only been able to use it in ice fishing mode. With that said I love this thing. I can’t wait to use it this summer. I would recommend this product to anyone.
USed today for first time time. Fishing a hard lake where nothing has been caught for last couple of months. Bailiff pointed me to a weedbed in the middle of the lake he thought the carp were shoaled up in. I used the deeper for the first time and couldn’t se any fish. After an hour going round the lake I found the carp shoaled up in a snag 5 ft from the bank. I would never have thought they were there. Gear product!!!
I love it! I received as a Christmas gift, charged it right away then took it down to my dock, on the second cast it showed a fish sitting on the bottom. My daughter cast here bait near the location and 3 minutes later she felled in a 8lb catfish. I’ve used on my Kayak several times fishing along docks and it’s great for spotting where the Largemouths are lurking. I also troll with it behind my kayak about ten feet back, works like a champ. The app works very smoothly and is intuitive, quick and easy. I like the play back feature especially.

Very happy with the product. Setup was a breeze and app is very user friendly. I am a bank fisherman majority of the time and always love trying out new ponds, creeks, and rivers. This provided me with an easy way to find water conditions and fish. I use it trailed up behind my kayak as well when I fish big bodies of water. Love the detail in the sonar and accuracy. Still learning the ins and outs as the app is very detailed and lots of ways to customize. My only gripe is that I wish there was a more secure way to mount it to the kayak.

I didn’t get my deeper from Amazon, but I love the product. I’ve been using the ice fishing mode this winter and it performs great. For summer use it does the job but I use it on my boat but the arm mount really sucks and I would like to see a cheaper redesigned arm.
Funktioniert tadellos und mit der App ist wirklich alles super zu erkennen. Auch am Boot, mit entsprechender Halterung (selbst gebaut), funktioniert es ohne Probleme. Bin sehr zufriede
