I have used the toaster for a few months and it is behaving itself by producing good toast. It’s easy to use and my wife is no longer complaining.
A decent, stylish toaster for the price. It goes well with the matching kettle. This is my second one. The first one I had for about 7 years, then it started short circuiting for some reason. The only odd thing about this toaster is the gauge on the front which goes from 1-5 as to how brown you want your toast. On 1 it’s basically burnt so don’t understand this bit. We have to have it half way between 0 and 1 to get a normally toasted piece of bread.

If you’re redesigning this product, it would be an excellent addition. I love De’longhi products overall. Hope it lasts as long as my previous toaster.

Had originally bought the kettle and toaster together and it must be at least 6 years ago. We are a family of five so they both get a lot of us daily. My toaster stopped working and as I have been so pleased with it, still love the design and also wanted to match my existing kettle so I bought another one. Ordered on the one day and it was delivered the next, couldn’t have been any easier. Excellent service from Amazon.

First few rounds of toast it didn’t toast properly where it didn’t quite toast all the way to the edges however after a few more rounds it seems to toast perfectly. Love the design and look. Adds a bit of style to the kitchen.

I just love the toaster and kettle ! They look fabulous . Very easy to use . The toaster i “toasted” 4 or 5 times with nothing in to get rid of the chemical smell (as stated in the instruction manual). You dont need to have the setting very high to get your bread toasted, i have it set between 1 and 2. It is a larger item than i expected , however this isnt a problem , its quite chunky. Fingers crossed it lasts a decent amount of time . As long as its at least 12months id be happy to buy another.

The toaster arrived today as per the delivery promise date. The toaster was well packaged in a sturdy outer box and then it’s productpackaging. It’s a very large toaster I know it’s a four slice toaster but even so it’s larger than I expected. It takes up quite a big footprint on the counter top. I would suggest doing a few measurements before buying. Fortunately we have a large kitchen and it’s easy to fit it in. Firstly the design it looks a little retro with the circular regulator which we like. Also the facets on the front catch the light making for a very attractive looking toaster. It has a high gloss Finnish which should be easy to clean. The racks can accommodate both thin and thick slices of bread which is a must these days. The chrome pull down levers for the toast feel a little poorer quality to the rest of the machine. Saying that they are perfectly adiquate for the job. It functions really well as a toaster the settings allow the user to make toast to their own spec dark or lightly toasted etc. It has a defrost setting and a warming setting button . Haven’t used either and don’t think I will we tend not to freeze bread. As for the warming setting I can’t think why it’s needed, as I think if you try and heat cold toast it going to cook even more ?. To sum up a very well priced four slice toaster with a warming and defrosting function. It’s a very good looking design in m y humble opinion it does look a little more refined than a lot of others on the market. It functions perfectly well making toast quite quickly..I am very pleased with the design and function I would buy another if I needed to.

It’s large, but once you’re past that there’s nothing not to like about this toaster. It looks beautiful, cooks the best toast – even from frozen bread, and it also has a reheat function which makes your toast piping hot again and extra crispy too, which is how I like mine. I wondered whether I really needed a 4 slice toaster, but it is useful sometimes.

This toaster looks great in my kitchen! It is easy to use and I particularly like the dial that controls the amount of browning. It replaces a two-slice toaster, which was time consuming if making toast for more than one person.

Nice toaster, looks good and toasts well. Only downside is that despite having separate levers, the two sides of the toaster will pop up at the same time even if you put one side down after the other, meaning the side you pushed down last won’t be done, I’d say this is a design flaw.

The geometric pattern makes my heart flutter. once you figure the settings out it never burns my toast and crumpets come out a dream. completely worth the money, its unique and super stylish. Looks good and very classy. All breads fit into the slots perfectly. A nice even colour when toasted. Even toasts extremely fresh bread beautifully. Can highly recommend it.
Glamorous toaster!
What more is there to say about a toaster. It certainly makes bread > toast! It is a gorgeous stylish design, although the first time I smelt burning plastic I got a bit worried and thought I’d left a label somewhere I shouldn’t, but that disappeared after a couple of uses! It is so cute and glam I bought the matching kettle.

Happy with the item, just feels a little plasticky. Does the job well and is as described. Maybe slightly overpriced in my opinion.
The thing about toasters is – or seems to be – there aren’t any good ones. Maybe if you spend silly money yes, but for most of us, they always either don’t yoast evenly (like this one – but it’s not that bad), and/or they don’t do it the same every time even when you know you haven’t changed the dial (like this one – but again, it’s not that bad), and/or they are plasticky looking (yes this one looks plasticky even if it’s design is good), and/or they just break down early. This one is still going okay, but it had to be four stars; youd have thought they might’ve cracked even toasting by now.

Looks great and stylish. little disappointed that the temperature control seems high. We only use the 1st two otherwise toast would be burnt if we went any higher. Also the black is plastic.

The best brand of toaster I have ever purchased. The settings for toasting is great. Light weight for storage in cupboard. Nice colour. The only thing not great is wire just a little too short but despite that I would still recommend the brand

I have not used De’Longhi before, my previous toaster was a Breville and I have had it for six years it was one of those kitchen equipment that sat unnoticed for six years and got used every day – hope the De’Longhi does the same.
Well a toaster is nothing special so you have to find something that speaks to the eye. It does all the usual-different thickness breads, high lift lever for small things etc.but it the way it looks that is well.. eye-catching!. It has a beautiful faceceted surface that catches the light and makes it a feature on the work surface. Delivery was fast(prime). Best toaster I've ever owned
I didn’t think there was much science behind toasters – ie a cheap one is as good as a more expensive one. However this toaster makes nicer toast and fully accommodates a slice of bread – unlike some others. You do sometimes get what you pay for.
Beautiful to look at albeit not as faceted as I thought it would be or as much as the kettle is. It is however HUGE, need a big work surface or kitchen cupboard.

The DeLonghi ctj4003 Brilliante 4 slice toaster is just what it says, ” Brilliant “. It can be used as a two slice or four slice toaster. The toast comes out evenly toasted on both sides. It also complements our Brilliante kettle and filter coffee maker. All I could ask for really and would recommend to everyone.
It’s rare to find a pop-up toaster that can cope with different types of toastable material, but this can. From brown bread to crumpets simply set the control to the midpoint and the toaster does the rest. The pop-up action is sturdy, with crumpets leaping about 6 inches into the air. Best of all is the evenness of the toasting. It’s pricier than some, but in this case you really get what you pay for, Defrost setting is also excellent.

Love the look of this toaster looks nice in my new black and white kitchen bought it to match the kettle only negative thing I would say is its bigger than I expected, ok for me but would not recommend for small kitchens.

Stylish and Functional
Bought both kettle and toaster and they make a fantastic addition to my kitchen. Very stylish as well as functional. All sizes of bread, rolls and bagels fit and are toasted to perfection every time. Do bear in mind that it is a large toaster (my kithcen is small and it takes up a fair amount of worktop space). Absolutely love both toaster and kettle and would highly recommend.

This DeLonghi toaster is absolutely a lovely looking appliance, but more importantly it operates beautifully. My toast and scones have come out perfect, never over-cooked. The reheat button comes in very handy when your eggs aren’t quite ready when your toast is. Because of the faceted look of the toaster, it cleans so easily. This is the best toaster I have ever had and considering I have been married for over 40 years, I have had my share of them. The price is also excellent. They sell for more in the shops.
We bought this with the matching kettle, and my wife is particularly pleased with the resulting appearance in the kitchen.
Price through Amazon was excellent and delivery was as expected.
With just a little adjustment the toaster results are just as we would wish.
A jolly good quality fully functional toaster. You put your bread in it, set the hue required, push the button(s) down and then the fairly easy bit… you wait for a couple of minutes or so. Lo and behold the wonderful gadget pings into action, the now toasted bread shoots up like a torpedo and smashes the ceiling mounted light fixture. Only kidding, this toaster works perfectly and I’d recommend it no problems.

I bought this item as i bought the kettle, and it is worth every penny, i have no complaints, although i wish they made the toaster a bit smaller, (2 slots)the slots are quite big, so you put in bagels, doorsteps, you name it you can toast it. It looks expensive (which it is) and it adds a touch of class to your kitchen, as only De’Longhi can do. I am a vey happy customer.
