Great item, gave out lots of heat, would definitely recommend
We bought it as a back up heater for our caravan.
This is a brilliant radiator heats up my lounge really quickly then I can turn it down to just 1 so it ticks over, but to be honest I put it on for an hour turn it off, and my room is lovely for several hours. Haven’t noticed any drastic rise in electric either. Well worth the money

This is a must now in the house. Bought it to use when boiler broke and was amazed at how well it heats up the rooms. Easy to move around the house. Even feel safe leaving it on low during the night.
Nothing to dislike..I have this in a very large kitchen and open plan dining area. I was dilitary about it…but needn’t have worried it’s 1st class…you won’t be disappointed
This heater warms my 4×4 glass roof conservatory, no problem at all , I have tried different ones but this is the best by far, it takes a while to get to the temperature required but then maintains it through out, its like having central heating , definitely recommend
I’ve been using this heater to warm up a large (500 square foot) room every day for the past month, and it’s worked brilliantly. I switch it on maximum for an hour or so until the room reaches my preferred temperature, then reduce the heat to medium or low and keep it at that temperature reliably all day. I haven’t tried the timer function.
Excellent heater. Easy to use functions an warms my recording studio in short time also the oil filled aspect means it delivers heat nicely once the thermostat kicks in. Do not buy a cheap alternative just spend the extra and get a quality built item. 5 STARs
Warms up quickly for an electric radiator and great heat output, keeps my home office nice and warm.
Works rapidly and effectively – with multiple settings to adjust to respective room conditions. Timer dial is a little fiddley to set but works accurately. Location restricted by short power cable – the upside being no awkward cable management.

Bought as I’ve been having problems with my central heating – this little heater has exceeded by expectations. It’s been used to provide heating in my living room, and once I started using the timer function to switch it on in the morning, I found the room was nice and warm when I wanted to use it. Essentially, I used the timer to switch it on and off as I would with my central heating. I found that i didn’t need any additional heating in this room – and it’s a reasonable sized living room. In fact I only needed it on it’s lowest setting!
So glad we purchased this oil filled radiator. It has been perfect for our needs. We stay warm and comfortable with it set very low and the timer function to have it come on half an hour before we have to get up in the early hours for work is a huge bonus.
I would definitely recommend this radiator to anyone looking for a cost effective way of always being warm.
This is the second one I’ve bought for my home. They are reliable and make the room warm and keep it warm. Would definitely reccomend.
This heats my home better than my electric wall radiators. This radiator has 6 settings for heat output. 2 warns my entire house. Only issue is the timer. All set as needed, but doesnt work
We bought the heater to use in our new conservatory and one hour per morning is sufficient to keep the air warm enough to deal with any condensation which was a problem beforehand. It is a good design and easily moved around the room. It is certainly a good purchase
I bought this for my garage conversion into a room as the central heating didn’t quite make the room toastie, so tried this heater and it is simply brilliant made the room so lovely and warm in 10 mins and now the garage conversion feels lovely.
Been having problems with central heating so bought this as backup having got a smaller one some years earlier. Excellent heater giving plenty of heat when needed. Slim and portable so can fit anywhere throughout the house. Controls are easy to use but could do with being more clearly defined.
The heater was bought to heat a large room. It does that very effectively. The wheels mean that the heater can easily be moved but it is fairly bulky and not as easy to carry up and down stairs for example. It arrived two days after I placed the order so I am very pleased with both the heater and the service.
Always found delonghi dragons to be the business and bullet proof . Have this in a sun lounge for the winter , holymoly the heat this can put out if you want it to . Fully functional straight forward timer and excellent temperature controls mean it dose’nt have to be like the middle of the summer sahara, on a Highland Scotland december but can sensibly keep the deepest winter chills at bay in a more temperate fashion even when your not at home.. On its wheels you can relocate it easily and though the flex may seem a bit short its more for tucking away anyway, than been out in the middle of a room. If it is on anything above medium, becarefull of pets to not bump their nose on the side or toddlers exploring, its a dragon it literally can breath fire ,be carfull and sensible with any high settings.
Nice looking radiator – we bought two for a new orangery we had built. Have tried them out and they generate a lot of heat. Easy to move around as well.
Excellent, heat out put and ‘heat movement’ is superb. Really impressed. Good heater for large room and pretty quick to get going. Very heavy but on wheels so easy to move about. Cable could do with being longer.
Does the job in warming up a medium size room. Only giving four stars because it is quite heavy to lift – not an real issue when you have it out already because there are wheels.

I was unsure about oil filled radiators as I had been told by some that they were not that great and by others that they were effective. However, the reviews for this particular radiator were good. I haven’t been disappointed. I love it, it was easy to set the timer and it does its job of heating my garden office. So far, I have never needed to put it on above the min setting. I would recommend this product.
It’s heavy but the wheels make it easy to move around, it heats up a 500m^2 room at the right time, so it works great, I only found two issues:
– It stopped functioning after 1-2 years
– if you accidentally spill a drink it’ll be difficult to clean.
The service to resolve this, was great so overall, it wasn’t a bad buy.
Great product replacing earlier model which had suffered damage to switches while in storage.
It’s just right for the purpose of heating a cold conservatory. Easily wheeled into position and perfect for timing to go on and off as required. Very happy with it and would highly recommend for anywhere in the house.

Our only dislike is the cable on the heater being short, instructions say you can’t plug into an extension lead.
Used this for our cold basement.. absolutely amazing.. did leave a smell with first few uses but I suppose that’s because it was brand new.. works fine now.. quick heat with no smell.. not used timer function yet.
I’ve bought it for my loft converted office which is a size of small bedroom. The heart output is beyond my expectations and the finish is quite good as well. Doesn’t have.a digital display or remote control but a robust piece of kit. Two things to note….it has to be directly plugged in which means. I extension leads can be used so make sure the socket is nearby. Secondly this model doesn’t have a handle so need to be mindful should you need to move when it’s hot! Overall really pleased with it!!
Great heat output and starts up fast, havnt needed the timer as we’ve just heated room to desired temperature and then turned off. power cord is short so you have to have it close to the socket and cannot use an extension lead.
If you are thinking about buying this….. stop thinking and just buy it! Absolutely incredible bit of kit and ideal for warming up a room for little money, this is better than any other oil filled radiator I’ve bought and the cost justifies the quality. Superb.
Arrived earlier than expected,which was nice. Big disappointment was the dent in the side. Think I’ve been unlucky this week with this and another item received dented. It’s a lot of hassle to send it back, so not sure what to do yet. Bought it for my mom who really likes the heat output and doesn’t want to be without it now. This heater belts out a lot of heat.

This is a good sturdy radiator with a powerful heat output. The thermostat seems to work well which is not always the case with portable heaters. On the negative side, the cord is too short especially if you consider they say NOT to use it in an extension lead, so your options for placing the radiator become very limited. If you need to lift up the radiator there is a handle on one side only making transportation difficult.
This is fantastic strong built with a powerful heat output. Better then my central heating. It heats up 30 square metres beautifully.
Some reviews said it smells. I followed the manufacture instructions: 2 hours at full heat and the smell is gone after this time.
This was my second purchase of one of these – I have one in a the master bedroom, and the other in the office. These have both been used a lot over this winter, and during lockdown. The pump out a lot of heat, and my smart electric meter seems to like them. Great connected to a smart plug – just ask Google to turn it on 30 minutes before I go to bed.
Hermes tried to deliver on monday but could not??? tried again on tuesday and all OK except that the box was badly damaged on the underside and very wet and taped up with hermes tape. Heater appears to be OK but has a very small dent as per photo. not worth sending back but disapointing none the less.
This is a fabulous heater. I am so happy how well it warms up a large room that has almost ineffective radiator. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
A very efficient radiator. I purchased it to use in my 3 x 4 metre conservatory throughout the winter. Does a very good job of keeping temperature level and prevents condensation. I have been able to sit very comfortably in the conservatory in very cold spells. I also find it is very economical to use.
As it says it takes time to heat up the room but time to cool down too, the thermostat control and the timer are the important features and helps in the cost cutting (Electricity). the wheel are good for moving them from room to room (but I try and not move the heater much) and it is doing a fantastic job, loving it. enjoying it.. 10 years warranty on the DeLonghi official website so that’s peace of mind. Good product, no regrets at all.
Not cheap, but one of the best, throws out a lot of heat, second one i have owned, gave other one to my daughter that warms up her caravan nicely

I ordered this Delonghi to replace a no name product i bought off Amazon last year and it broke exactly one week after the one year warranty expired.
You can’t go wrong with a Delonghi. I works really well and it is a very neat product.
It had a dent in the side when it was delivered. I didn’t bother to get it swopped out as i needed it right away, but it has not affected the functionality of it.
Have had similar units in past, with panelling to sides that gives a flue flow of heat rather than heat the floor, that seemed to throw out more heat even though they were less capacity.
Adequate for purpose.
Good wheels but awkward to shift about when hot.
This is a great heater. I have storage heaters so by late afternoon I need extra heat. It heats up very quickly, and I can move the heater about with ease. I haven’t used the timer as I am home all day. It looks good and fits in with modern decor.

I originally bought three radiators of a different brand two of which broke down in two weeks from purchase so I sent them back and all ordered three DeLonghi dragon 4 and was so impressed I order 2 more 5in total
It “does what it says on the tin”. If I needed another oil filled electric heater I would buy this item again. It is quite heavy and the wheels are quite small so marking the carpet can be an issue. My only disappointment was that the packaging is insufficient as it had two small dents in the side panels, but this does not stop it working. A really good product. For five stars, better packaging please.
Absolutely superb albeit a little heavy to carry round, but overall fantastic
Perfect for our needs. We were looking to heat our bedroom as it never felt warm enough with the 2 tiny radiators that are part of the central heating system (Taylor Wimpey Dunton main bedroom with vaulted ceiling). We pop this on for a couple of hours before bed and then it’s toasty and warm. I’ve found it to be quiet and haven’t noticed it smell.
Bought just in time for the cold weather, so pleased I did,we have it in a little bedroom that gets very cold. Our visiting grandkids sleep in there. Really pleased with it. We had a different make for years but it finally gave up the ghost, but this one is much better doesn’t take long to heat up either. Excellent job.

Really impressed with this heater. I use it in my office at home and it warms the room up in no time. It doesn’t smell and does not make a noise. I don’t know how much it costs to run though! Also it’s very heavy and although it’s on castors you can’t move it easily up and down stairs because of the weight. Apart from that it’s perfect!
High quality oil filled heater, get really hot if you want it to. The heater has three power settings, and the thermostat works very well.
We’ve used it many nights due to failure of the central heating.
One small criticism is then when cooling after switching off, it makes a couple of really loud ‘cracking’ sounds that always wake us up.
Last minor beef is that the tiny wheels don’t work on our carpets and it needs lifting or dragging with force, to move it.
A great product that’s well made and kicks out some serious heat .
The product itself is great, excellent heat output, easy to set up although some of the dials & digits are slightly difficult to see. This item is fairly heavy making manoeuvring and carrying difficult + even more awkward as there is only one handle on one end not the same as the pictures advertising it! This means you have to hold it by the metal body at one end which is a bit sharp and hot if its been in use.
Thats the good bit over, now my moan about Amazon and delivery.
The only good part of ordering these off Amazon is the price, once ordered there was no communication and they were eventually dispatched 5 days later on the day they should have arrived with 2 seperate dates for the following week for arrival, they did in fact arrive together the next day also, be prepared to receive damaged radiators as they are sent in the manufacturers packaging which simply is not strong enough for the way Amazon throw them out for delivery, I ordered 2 of these, 1 was like brand new, the other was dented on both sides, a replacement was sent but this was dented on one side, I have given up complaining as it means that the damaged one will be picked up without warning any day of the week! And i dont have time to sit in all week. Also they will not collect the damaged one when dropping off the replacement! I think this process is done on purpose by Amazon so that you cannot be bothered to return items, if you want a ‘brand new’ one get one from elsewhere, if you dont mind receiving one that looks like a seconds item but paid for a brand new one then take a risk with Amazon. I will not be purchasing anything that is heavy or expensive from Amazon again, lesson learnt! A painful and time consuming experience with Amazon.

Build quality is as expected being Delonghi product, the performance of the thing is just amazing, heats up our kitchen & extension with ease, never has it been this warm infact it gets too hot now!

I read all the reviews very carefully and compared models. This may possible not be the cheapest or most economical but its performance is awesome along with a 10 year guarantee! I have a Victorian house which is full of wooden floors so great in Summer not so much in Winter – combined with my central heating this really boost the heat in the house where radiators haven’t been added or just can’t cope with the cold of British Winters along with draughty old floors! Its so good I got another smaller one. Def recommend.

This heater is absolutely superb. I have a lounge measuring 6.2m(l) x 5m(w) x 2.4m(h) and doesn’t heat due to dodgy plumbing. I bought this heater in the winter and it can heat the entire room and get it quite toasty. It is very well made, rhobust, completely quiet and has a great timer function. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

It is rather heavy – take your time if moving it on your own! During heating up if left for awhile it does make a bit of noise. Once warmed up it’s fine though.

Our daughters room is in the upstairs extension and is exposed on three sides making her room very cold in winter.

Bought for a friend who has a unheated cottage and was finding it dificalt to sleep due to the cold. Previously I tried a different electric oil radiator but he found it made no difference. This one on the other hand seems to works a treat. I think the difference is with the chimney effect of the design. Anyway my friend now sleeps comfortably so well worth the money.

I dont see how the new design is as stated. Heat only comes out the top and not sides so isnt that great to fill a room up. Also i use in a room that is 9m x 5m large and it takes ages on max setting (45p/hour) to heat. But eventually after 10 room is heated and it maintains well. Expensive to run.
Good heater. Large room now has comfortable heat. Good you can set timer. Heavy but has wheels. Only used on tiles not sure about on carpet. Would recommend.

This is extraordinarily easy to set up. In fact unpack and switch on. This is the second one we bought. This one is for the bedroom in case the heating played up if the beast from the east arrived. Heating is superb and very easy to operate. Even has a thermostat that can maintain the temperature. Highly recommended. Also got it at an amazingly discounted price on Amazon.
Well packaged and arrived undamaged. This Model is rated at 2.5 KW and indeed throws out an amazing amount of heat even on the mid settings. It is easy to move around on the castors despite being quite heavy.
