Best impact gun I have used for the money, used and abused on many jobs I have done on my land rovers and on farm machinery such as tractors, tele-handlers and hay making equipment. Had it now for nearly a year using it nearly every day, and it still works like new!
Top quality, powerful but bulky
Fantastic and very powerful. This is a big unit and with or without the battery quite heavy so not suitable for tight spaces. Am not a power tool expert but this is top quality. Bear in mind this does not come with a battery or charger and is just in a box. Not a problem for me but worth knowing. Definitely recommend.

A Brilliant Piece of Ki
Use with care, this is a professional sturdy piece of kit, not a light weight wrench by any stretch of the information. Buy a set of impact sockets at the same, unless you want to buy a new socket set later – it will ruin normal sockets.
If wrench won’t shift that bold/nut nothing will.
But be careful if you use it to tighten, better to use a normal socket set and finish with a torque wrench, unless you want to sheer bolts.

Worked perfectly, price is just right but is Super heavy weight, which.. I love the weigh of the tool mainly because, it gives you a good feeling gripping it and feeling powerful at the same time in hand.
It did the job
Bought this mainly for wheelnuts particularly the locking ones you have to be sure you can undo them without damaging them which is possible with an normal wheel brace. Some were very tight you have to let the impact wrench hammer at it for a while but it got them off eventually, it’s a very good heavy duty weapon and quite noisy, I would recommend it it’s probably the best you can get for home use.

Ho comprato DeWalt 18 V, 1/2 Pollice Chiavi Di Impatto (Suini) DCF899HN-XJ per poter cambiare le gomme al mio fuoristrada che ha 6 dadi da 21mm ogni cerchio e posso dire che svito e riavvito i dadi con la prima regolazione senza nessun problema e controllo per un mio scrupolo con una chiave dinanometrica, e la seconda velocit l’ho utilizzata per svitare dadi ruota di un trattore….. chiaramente questi prodotti vanno utilizzati con adeguata batteria.
Se no diventano come la pistola ad aria del gommista con un compressore da 25 litri.

A brute of a tool
No more stuck nuts. Just hang on tight and everything (so far) comes undone. Good to have the facility to reduce torque as this can break bolts.
Literally, the bolts are smoking after this weapon! Serious power. I should have bought this a long time ago. People saying you need a 5Ah battery but I have been using it with a 1.5Ah XR battery to date. Managed to disassemble everything inside the rear arch of a 19 year old Subaru (quite rusty to be polite!) and haven’t recharged yet. That was over several evenings and includes removing the brake calliper bolts, suspension strut bolts (tight),centre hub nut, several control arm bolts (very tight) and also some exhaust bolts and other stuff. Oh and all 4 wheels were removed so that’s 20 bolts to start with. Don’t be fooled you will get stuck here and there, I needed a 600mm breaker bar with an additional extension to start two of the control arm bolts. Once the bolts shifted a millimetre, the impact driver was brought in to smash off the rest past the rusty threads with ease.
I was worried about clearance considering the size of this unit but it works for most situations. I have added the wee swivelling adapter do-da that comes with socket sets and it is surviving fine so far, I thought the impact driver would destroy it actually so that’s worth knowing. All-in-all, a great piece of kit, easy on battery, nobody likes your rusty nuts so get her bought! Oh, And use a penetrating fluid – PlusGas is great stuff.

Very pleased with the quality of this product, very powerful had no issues getting out bolts I had been struggling with on a car. There are a lot of cheaper alternatives on the market but if you want the job done and done properly you have to spend a bit more and I am glad I did. Plenty of videos on youtube of this product being compared to other options.
Amazon asked me to rate how lightweight this was, it is not a lightweight product, its built to be robust and powerful so it is pretty heavy with a large battery in it. However I had no issues using it one handed in awkward positions under wheel arches of a car and I am not a body builder.
Very pleased with my purchase, I expect this to last many years.
Also now I have a couple of the Dewalt batteries I can pick up other tools to use with them.
L’avvitatore ad impulsi (come d’altra parte anche gli altri componenti) arrivato in scatola di cartone, ben protetto ma minimalista. Apparecchio un p pesante ma efficace. Strumento professionale che per le mie attivit hobbistiche spettacolare, da rimanere incantati per la facilit con cui fa qualsiasi cosa; e con cui puoi pensare di affrontare qualsiasi progetto. Presenta un selettore di velocit e di coppia a tre posizioni. Prima di questo avevo acquistato un apparecchio di altra marca che dichiarava coppia di 380Nm con cui mi aspettavo di poter effettuare almeno il cambio ruote per le automobili in generale: inaffidabile, una sofferenza; quindi reso.
Usato montando direttamente la bussola da 17mm, ed i 90Nm previsti per i cerchioni di una Fiat Tipo li gestisce: per cui svita i bulloni e li riavvita senza scomporsi con la 1a velocit. Nell’avvitare bisogna stare leggeri ed usare la chiave dinamometrica per serrare. Per i bulloni del SUV, sempre bussola da 17mm ma qui servono 140Nm di coppia: per svitare in un attimo senza problemi usato la 2a velocit; per riavvitare passato alla 1a velocit che porta preciso ai 140Nm. Verificato con chiave dinamometrica.
L’oggetto robusto, la luce LED adeguata, la gomma dell’impugnatura permette di afferrarlo con sicurezza, le bussole (un p dure nell’infilarle) rimangono in posizione stabilmente, non si percepiscono giochi o difetti banali. Non ho testato la durata della batteria con attivit impegnative ma, con due treni di gomme e altri lavoretti la batteria da 5Ah non ha dato segni di cedimento: sempre a piena carica. Ho preso due batterie non originali da 5Ah ad un prezzo eccezionale; sembrano di buona qualit. Ne ho considerate due in previsione dell’acquisto di altro strumento DeWalt.
Il caricabatterie DEWDCB115 ha la spina inglese e costa una dozzina di euro in meno di quello con spina standard europea (senza DEW….) ma le caratteristiche sono le stesse, con un adattatore che avevo perfetto.
Prodotto consigliato. Il prezzo impegnativo ma disporre di uno strumento all’altezza anche per impieghi hobbistici per me essenziale. Una magagna l’assenza di valigetta associata salvo altro esborso. Disponevo gi di una valigetta robusta e capiente per cui ho sistemato tutto in modo perfetto.

There are doubtless cheaper products on the market but this gets the job done every time.

Nothing to dislike at all, works perfectly.I used it to undo land rover wheel nuts at 1 1/6″ which is a big nut.it did this with little effort.
I had to buy a case for it as it never came with one. Overall superb, not cheap but quality always costs a bit more.

Einer der strksten 1/2 Schlagschrauber mit Akku auf dem Markt. Hat mir beim ersten benutzen schon eine 17 mm Facom Nuss zerfetzt, da die Schraube sehr fest war. Hier rate ich dann richtige Schlagschraubernsse anzuwenden.
Dreht auch mhelos 10 mm Gewinde ab wenn diese zu stark verrostet sind. Schrauben lsen bis teilweise M14 und M16 mglich je nach Anzugswerten. Bis jetzt funktioniert er ohne Probleme und hat schon einiges an schrauben gelst.
ich muss sagen ich war echt berrascht… bin seit ber 10 Jahren selbststndig und wir hatten immer dewald Schlagschrauber … aber das teil WOW da muss man echt aufpassen wenn man M12 Schrauben anzieht und geht nicht vom Gas dann wars das mit der Schraube/Gewinde…. Also nix fr fein arbeiten trotz der 3 Stufen wer richtig Power will der ist damit supergut bedie

High power, stronger than my Snap On 18v wrench. Slightly heavier, but what do you expect. Run with a 4aH battery minimum to maintain full power. 3 power settings makes for reassembly a doddle. Put on setting two, then torque to spec, without risk of overtorqueing.

Kraft hat er genug. Habe alte Schrauben am Trecker mit der Hand nicht bewegt und fr einen langen Hebel hat der Platz nicht gereicht. Da sagt der Schlagschrauber nur: Her damit! Wie das war’s schon?
Liegt super in der Hand und kann aufgrund des moderaten Gewichts auch mit einer Hand locker bedient werden.
I ordered this in desperation after trying unsuccessfully to remove the wheel bearing hub assembly retaining nut on a Land Rover Discovery 2 which are torqued to 490 NM. Despite having a 5 foot extension on a 3/4 drive breaker bar the nuts refused point blank to move. Bought this and was amazed when it spun the nut off as if they were hand tight with no hesitation whatsoever. If it will reach and fit on a nut, then it will remove it. Highly recommended.
Amazingly powerful impact wrench
This impact wrench really is the dogs danglies. Used it the day it was delivered to change the rear hub assembly on a 2002 Mini Cooper and the job was done in less than 2 hours. Having spent over 5 hours the previous weekend changing the front hub assembly and really struggling with rusty bolts i decided to splash out and buy this tool.
Having the right tool for the job definitely makes life easier and today was total proof of that.
One bit of advice I would offer is if you are going to buy this tool, make sure you also invest in some proper black impact sockets because this wrench will just destroy a normal silver socket in seconds. I only used it on speed 1 & 2 because I was worried that speed 3 would just rip the head right off the rusty bolts, but for good bolts that are just done up stupid tight it would be like a hot knife through butter.
Very powerful on max setting, and made short work of large rusty Alfa Romeo rusty suspension fasteners that have a reputation for being a nightmare.
It seems very well made and durable. Battery life is very good and stays charged indefinitely. Didn’t matter what I did, I only ever seem to use 25%. LED illumination really helpful.
It’s also very heavy, and less use on its two lower torque settings. They are uncalibrated but seem to go ‘puny, a bit pathetic, utterly brutal’. Requires care for tightening stuff on smaller threads, as this will easily strip threads or snap bolts. Too much for wheel bolts too. I’ll be buying the 3/8th DeWalt as well for the more genteel stuff.

Usata per cambiare le ruote del mio Range Rover Sport quando lo uso in fuoristrada. Ottima potenza, svita gi nella posizione 2 ed alcune pi serrate le ho svitate in posizione 3. Le riavvito con la posizione 1 che dovrebbe sarrare intorno ai 140 Nm (al massimo una piccolissima stretta in posizione 2, chiaro che la cosa migliore sarebbe quella di controllare con una chiave dinamometrica). Montaggio e smontaggio con batteria da 4 ampre che non scesa nemmeno di una tacca. Contentissimo.
Can't find bolts that it wouldn't undue...
This is best high torque impact wrench. Seen my mechanic using it on my vans and how easy it removes bolts decided to purchase one myself. Best on the market in my opinion and also cheap considering what is capable of. Strongly recommend if you on the market for a tool like this.

If you’re looking at reviews for this took you probably have run into some lots that won’t shift.
I wish I had bought this year’s ago. It’s excellent for bolts such as wheels, Subframes, mounts etc. Has sped up throughput for me dramatically. I wish I had this when I struggled many times before, or snapped many bolts before.
I don’t use it for tightening on setting 3. I nip wheels up with setting 1 or 2 before torquing the nuts or bolts.
Highly recommend. Buy a good 5ah battery and it will last all day, week or month depending on usage. I use mine several times a week as a hobbyist, and it lasts me most of a month.
This is a beast of a wrench bought this after my old faithful sealey cp3001 died now I always rated that gun but this blows it away I’ve used snap on and Milwaukee also but this has power way and above those if your after a good professional gun this is the one to get.

It does what it says bit heavy but comfortable value for money
BTW this works fine with an 18V 1.5ah XR battery. I bought this to undo the bottom mounting bolts on jaguar X Type shock absorbers. The rear suspension seemed soggy and the likely culprit was one or both rear shocks so I wanted to check them. That’s where the problems started of course. Neither bolt (M14x70) seemed inclined to undo even after the use of a 2 foot breaker bar. Indeed one started moving then made a creaking noise then seized. After liberal amounts of WD40 one bolt came out using setting 2 of 3 on the impact wrench. The other still resisted on setting 3 of 3. Luckily with a small amount of heat applied to the captive nut setting 3 persuaded the second bolt out. So it did the job and despite the cost probably saved me money. I was able to remove and check the shock absorbers (which seem fine). If I’d taken the car to a garage chances are the labour would have cost as much as the impact wrench. I’ve saved a trip to the garage and have an impact wrench now so I’m happy.
It’s not a bad 18v wrench, I had an engine to change and this made my life a lot easier, seems to have more power in forward than reverse.
Ich schreibe uerst selten eine Rezension, allerdings muss ich zu diesem Artikel etwas schreiben.
Ich war dabei meine Stodmpfer zu wechseln und bin an diesen Muttern verzweifelt, die waren bombenfest und mit einem Ringschlssel und Gegenhalten hatte ich da keine Chance.
Nachdem ich ber Stunden verschiedene andere Versuche unternommen hatte und ich dann im Internet gelesen habe, dass auch andere Probleme beim Lsen der Muttern hatten und das Problem mit einem Schlagschrauber gelst haben bin ich auf der Suche nach einem Schlagschrauber gegangen.
Zuletzt bin ich bei diesem Gert gelandet und muss sagen ich bin voll zufrieden. Einmal angesetzt auf Stufe 3 und schon waren die Muttern gelst.
Zuknftig habe ich denke ich einen guten Begleiter gefunden, der mir an meinem Auto jede noch so feste Schraube lsen wird.
Ich hatte mir das gute Stck zum lsen meiner Achsmutter am E53 Vorderachse geholt. Solldrehmoment 450Nm. Selbst mit einer m Verlngerung lie sich die Achsmutter nicht berzeugen.
Der Schlagschrauber in Stufe 3 (ca 900Nm) “lchelte” nur ber mein Problem.
Ein wenig gewhnungsbedrftig ist die “Drehmomenteinstellung”ber die “Spannungsvorwahl” bzw. Drehzahlvorwahl in 3 Stufen – also zum anziehen lieber einen Drehmomentschlssel (was ja selbstverstndlich sein sollte).
Um sich die Arbeit zu erleichtern ist er top. Nicht unbedingt leicht aber gut zu hndel.

Avevamo bisogno di un avvitatore portatile per lavori di carpenteria e meccanica. In officina utilizziamo quello pneumatico, ma l’esigenza di operare all’esterno con l’impossibilit di portarsi dietro tutto il compressore ci ha portato a sceglierne uno a batteria.
Premetto che i nostri utensili a batteria ed a filo sono tutti dei Bosch Professional, quindi la mia scelta sarebbe ricaduta su un prodotto di questa casa.
Purtroppo il pi potente della serie (GDS 18V Bosch Professional 06019B1303 GDS 18 V-LI HT Avvitatore ad Impulsi a Batteria ) arriva solo a 650 Nm di coppia……questo sviluppa 950 Nm!
Per non parlare poi della spesa che avremmo dovuto sostenere………questo mi costato decisamente meno!
Conosco la bont dei prodotti DeWalt ma non ne avevo mai acquistati.
La mia prima impressione: utensile veramente valido!
E’ ben assemblato con materiali di qualit. Si impugna bene ed abbastanza bilanciato. La lucina a led offre un’illuminazione dell’area di lavoro veramente efficace. Il sistema di ritenzione ad anello delle bussole efficace, anche se all’inizio l’inserimento risulta un p duro. Il peso c’, ma d’altronde un avvitatore pneumatico non pi leggero…….
E’ potente, veramente potente! Se non si presta attenzione si rischia di far danni in fase di serraggio! Possiede infatti una regolazione su tre posizioni della forza torsionale e non si pu regolare la coppia di serraggio. Il controllo della potenza dato dal solo grilletto…….quindi il serraggio finale va eseguito con chiave dinamometrica (ovviamente chi del settore lo sa!).
Per gli smontaggi nessun problema: ha svitato qualunque cosa senza incertezze (mozzi, bulloni ruote, teste degli ammortizzatori, blocchi di serraggio del banco dima….).
Unica pecca, a mio avviso, il selettore del senso di rotazione: a volte lo si sposta impugnando l’avvitatore……nulla di grave comunque.
Arriva contenuto in confezione di cartone con istruzioni multilingua senza batteria e senza caricabatteria.
Il costo (euro 220,26 il 22/04/2018 con spedizione Prime) risultato il migliore in rete al momento del mio acquisto.

Quindi un investimento totale di euro 321,77 (il 22/04/2018 con spedizione Prime) per un valido utensile professionale che ha dimostrato di funzionare egregiamente permettendoci di lavorare ovunque.

Ich habe den Akku-Schlagschrauber fr verschiedene Arbeiten am Fahrwerk gekauft. Das Teil ist wirklich extrem leistungsfhig. Die Mutter am Achsstummel frs Radlager ging ohne Probleme auf, obwohl sie mit ber 300 Nm festgezogen wird. Andere Schrauben an den Achsen, die mit einem Meinungsverstrker nur sehr schwer von Hand aufgingen (Vorderachsrahmen etc), schafft er noch problemloser. Kann den Schlagschrauber daher nur empfehlen. Besonders gut finde ich die einstellbaren Drehmomentstufen.
Mittlerweile gibts als Konkurrenzprodukt in der hnlichen Preisklasse den von Makita mit etwas mehr Drehmoment. Ich wei nicht, ob man den Unterschied letztendlich wirklich feststellen kann. Wichtiger ist denke ich eher, auf welches Akku-System man sich festlegt bzw. man bereits hat. DeWalt ist hierzulande halt nicht so gut verfgbar wie Makita, trotzdem bereue ich den Kauf keineswegs.
Das Gert liegt super in Hand und lst ohne Probleme auch festsitzende Schrauben/Muttern. Die Kraft und die Handhabung mit der LED Leuchte die Super platziert ist verdient weitere 5 Sterne.
Nicht nur der Preis spricht hier fr sich sondern auch die hochwertigkeit des Materials.

260 mm Tellerkopfschrauben, mir einem 100mm bitaufsatz, die schraubt er rein in einen Leimbinder und prgelt den Tellerkopf !! ins Holz bis der bit zu Ende ist und das gert auf dem Holz aufsetzt.

I started off by using a well known automotive brand cordless impact that costs 3 x more then the Dewalt. It did not even touch it! I thenmoved on to harmonic balancer method using a 1/2 inch drive breakers bar along with a additional 5ft extension, with all 210lbs of me jumping around on it like a madman, again nothing!
I ordered the Dewalt via prime arrived next day, so didn’t have to wait long before given it another go. Started with a fully charged 18v 5ah battery and set to number 3 speed. It took it off with in seconds and with ease. This thing is a beast! 100% would recommend. Build quality and the torque is superb. Factor in the extended 3 year warranty Dewalt offer – you can’t go wrong!

Schafft es tatschlich mit Leichtigkeit , Radschrauben an Stahlfelgen und Alufelgen zu lsen. Eine echte Erleichterung. Auto mit Wagenheber angehoben . Den Akkuschlagschrauber auf Stufe 2 gestellt , und siehe da , nach sehr kurzem Schlag sofort auf. Die Stahlfelgen waren mit 130 Kn angezogen . Die Alufelgen mit 110 Kn. Auf Stufe 3 hat er sofort aufgedreht. Habe auch noch einen kleinen Dewalt DCF 880N Schlagschrauber , der iss ein absoluter Witz dagegen. Der taugt allenfalls fr neuere Radmuttern , aber nicht fr festsitzende , evtl. rostige Rad-Schrauben. Ich hatte einen 4AH Akku benutzt.
I love Dewalt tools and almost fabricate excuses to buy them now. This is another great addition to collection and feels powerful and robust in use. It has a satisfying heft to it and has breezed through every job that I have thrown at it so far. Feels like it is built to last and looks like it was designed by someone who understands how people use such tools.

Now if your looking for a high quality impact wrench to remove them rusted stubborn bolts then this is the one. To torque and power on this thing is gobsmacking. So worth the money. Saved a lot of time crawling nuts. It’s one of them things it comes undone or it will snap it off.

Very capable impact wrench and still the highest powered cordless impact wrench available from any manufacturer. I purchased this wrench after viewing many comparision videos on YouTube. This unit comes out top in almost every test and destroys other tools that are more than 3 times the cost and have higher specs “on paper”. Haven’t found a nut that this can’t loosen and haven’t had to resort to penetrating oil or heat yet!
Fantastic impact wrench, in my opinion it is ten times better than any air impact, it is portable and instead of waiting for a compressor to build up one exhausted, you just swap out the batteries. A mechanic buddy of mine was very disappointed when he invested 100’s pounds in a 200 litre compressor and air tools to find out this was better. Only drawback is the cost of batteries, a 5.0 ah genuine battery is nearly as much as the bare tool, but once you build up your battery collection over time you will have a serious non stop tool

Excellent gun, i dont usually leave reviews but this ticks all the box’s, as a full time vehicle mechanic I need something heavy duty and robust, used it everyday for the last month and it seems ideal for standard car work, wheels,suspension, diff bolts, driveahaft nuts and so on.
If you use air impact wrenches for a living, then get one of these. You wont look back. Very powerful tool.

Big, Powerful and doing it job. I have only be using it for a week with 5amp battery and no need to charge up yet still two bars out of three lit. No mention of break away torque of 1695 in the manual so I am assuming this is a theoretical figure. It has undone and tightened everything I have tried
A very good tool to have, very powerful, removes wheel nuts no problems even stubborn ones.
Recently used on my motorbike drive sprocket, no problem, did not even have to chock the sprocket.

Great tool and very powerfull, but reverse button is in the way and its very easy to switch, so bolt can be snapped easily when accidentally switched to tightening. Tool is so powerful that it only takes a split second to snap an M10 bolt!
Apart from that it’s well worth the money!

What more can i say: it’s a DeWalt- you pay a bit extra but get quality. Always impressed by dewalt gear.
Pound for pound, this impact wrench is being touted as the best electric wrench money can currently buy. Some reviewers on the net are saying it’s as good as, or even better than Snap-on’s 18v impact wrench which is 3-4 times the cost. Actually the Dewalt has more tightening torque and breakaway torque than the said Snap-on. Others are even saying you can get rid of your pneumatic impact gun. These positives give you an idea of the calibre of the product.
Not really having any substantial jobs on at home where I could put this wrench through its paces, I decided to give this beast a proper trial at work. I’m an engineer on ships and believe me there are plenty of tight rusty bolts on a ship, so where better to test it! So what was the outcome? Well in short I couldn’t find any nut or bolt that it could not shift, bearing in mind that I did not test a bolt of more than size M20 as this is the maximum stated size it should be used on. Some bolts / nuts took slightly longer than others, but all in all the wrench goes about its business quite effortlessly.
If I am to give it any minuses then it has to be its weight, although it’s a balanced tool, it can be heavy to handle in certain situations. One example I can give was when I was undoing an M12 spline head bolt and due to the wrench’s weight it sits heavy on the thumb and first finger when upright or angled slightly towards the first finger. So much so that on occasions, the direction switch can be accidently changed by the first finger if the wrench is not gripped tight enough. In my case the function was accidently changed to tighten and in an instant the spine head of the bolt was completely stripped. I must add that the setting was on 3, the highest, at the time. Nevertheless I’ve still given this beast a rating of 5 as it’s partially down to user error.
For those who are interested the wrench is manufactured in the PRC. I must say it is a mightily impressive tool with good build quality, how an 18v battery powered tool can achieve what it does is a marvel indeed.
Dieser Schlagschrauber ist nur zu empfehlen. Alle anderen grokotzigen Marken dagegen, die getestet wurden, sind nur Spielzeuge. Sehr starkes Licht, sehr lange Laufzeit und stark wie ein Ochse. Fr Pkw- Radmuttern braucht man max. die Stufe 2 zum ffnen. Stufe 3 nur fr wirklich sehr groe Krfte erforderlich und da geht dann aber die Post ab…..Preis/Leistungsvehltnis absolut top
Er hat ordentlich Kraft und die 3 Stufen Einstellung sind praktisch.
Der Ring um die Nuss festzuhalten ist schn Straff und hlt auch Groe Nsse gut fest.
Wie bei allen neueren DEWALT Gerten schwindet etwas die Detail Qualitt 🙁
