Bought this to do a 48h trip with 2 flight transits. Flying to the Caribean and with such a long trip it was essential I had a method to keep my medication refrigerated. This did a great job!!! I got 5 pens in the compartment and had no trouble with it when transiting airports (did carry all medical documentation and the manual for the unit). When I reached my destination my medication was still cold. It was a relief to also have the backup bottle that I could swap out with ice water if I had needed it. Glad to say I didn’t need it (checked the thermometer) at each flight transit.

We had previously always relied on Frio products to keep our son’s insulin at a safe temperature but this was a longer trip and we needed something that would store insulin at fridge temperature until we arrived at our destination. This product did so brilliantly – and we had no issues at all at airport security. In fact, the person in front of us also had one of these flasks for their medicines! I am very happy to recommend this product. Used in conjunction with a Frio pump wallet and, of course, the apartment fridge, my son had no problem keeping his insulin at approximate temperatures for a 7 week trip.

I wasn’t entirely confident about this flask. But it was effective in keeping my meds chilled and safe. It’s sturdy and easy to use. I would recommend a trial run before you travel for a major trip to become accustomed to it.
The largest flask holds 4 pens at a push. The chilling effect lasts for at least 24 hours in varying ambient temperatures ie 32degrees c for 15 hours.

Really keep the cold but just limit the time in the freezer as the blue bottles does deform and the the storage capacity shrink a bit and would be difficult Fill up with the pens. I discovered that is better to freeze the blue bottles lying on the convex part so the liquid will freeze better and the curve of the bottle does not deform, being able to better insert the injections in cooler.
We needed to carry 8 alirocumab 75mg injections so I bought 2 bottles and they fitted just abou

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWent on a 5-week trip, including long stretches outdoors in 35+ heat, and this never failed. Longest period was ~12 hrs with no access to refrigerator, and the interior temp never went above 5 degrees. Packed 3 humira pens, though with some difficulty. 2 is much easier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am always ” managed ” as far as keeping insulin goes.

I have used various cool bags with freezer packs and I have used Those Frio cooling products which you soak in water .

The Frio packs work fine for the insulin I am actually using but I worry about the insulin that needs to be in the fridge.

This solves that problem and it solves it very very well.

No they are not cheap but when you consider the money you spend trying different options out which don’t quite suit all circumstances you end up back at this product.

I also bought the largest one as it is designed to cool of longer and it has more room to store.

Over the years I have done big road trips by motorcycle and go away with a caravan.

I wish I had purchased this years ago. This quality insulated cooler for meds that needs to be in the fridge )
combined with Frio ( What you are using but needs to be cool ) seems to be the best solution I have been looking for.
