This looks great. It is bigger than I expected, but that’s fine. It has cup measures on one side and litre ones on the other, which is handy.
The only niggle I have is with the lid. My old kettle had a push-button release, but this one has a ring pull, which is fine when the kettle is cold, but as it is metal it heats up to quite hot, and it can be tricky to open the lid to refill it when it’s just been used. It might just be a case of getting used to it though.
Quality kettle albeit expensive. Just hope that it’s worth the price in terms of durability. Time will tell.
A pricey kettle but it is quiet, boils quickly and doesn’t drip, spit or leak. Really nice to have a kettle that pours without spilling and doesn’t burn you with escaping steam
Bought this to keep the noise down while on lockdown zoom meetings…. although quieter than the old one it is far from silent boil!
That said, the quality of the product stands up to scrutiny well. Looks and feels an expensive kettle… and it is!
Overall worth it though so far, not a bad effort Dualit.

I have owned a Dualit classic toaster for over 11 years and it still looks beautiful. I bought the kettle to match and they look great together. The kettle is sturdy, pours well and is easy to lift. it boils quickly and isn’t too noisy. It was expensive but I am hoping it will be of similar quality to my other Dualit products and be a sound investment in the long run.

Maybe slightly heavier than some others
This is a very swish, high-end kettle. It’s extremely well made and oozes quality down to the finest details of how it looks, how it feels in the hand, and how the lid and switch feel to operate. It’s British made too, and all in all it’s a piece of gorgeousness.
Being critical, it’s not all that quiet, and much as I like it, it’s as well to remember that you can get a perfectly decent kettle for a tenth of the price. If you can afford it and you like nice appliances that’re built to last, however, it gets a thumbs up.

Happy with our purchase. Kettle heavier in weight to standard kettles, however I do hope this means it is more durable than the standard style kettles. body of kettle does water Mark easy and still not sure how to buff them without damaging. Difficult to see water level in kettle. Overall happy, would recommend especially if you like the style.
Really, an excellent kettle. Much better practical design than Dualit Dome. Really solid. Heats lots, or a little, quickly and quietly. Lid stays up and protects from scalding steam. Really solid. My favourite kettle

I almost didn’t go for this kettle because of some of the older reviews.
The kettle is extremely quiet compared to my old fastboil Bosch, and also boils pretty rapidly itself. The water level indicator is probably the only issue with this kettle… can in certain lights, be quite difficult to read and may have benefited from some kind of coloured float in the side windows.
I don’t feel that it is particularly heavy (as others have said) but it does feel substantial and well made.
Obviously this isn’t a cheap kettle, but I’m hoping there’s longevity in it….. the matching Dualit toaster we have is over 16 years old !

I just wish I could read the water level but it’s too dark.
Its stylish and functional, a big reduction in noise level from our last kettle. The lid is hard to open when its hot, and my wife can’t open it, so its husband’s job, otherwise it would have been a 5 star.

The strength of the spring on the lid, the subject of several reviews, is not a problem for me. This is a premium product; if you want a kettle to be a feature of your kitchen (it is there all the time, after all) then do not buy cheap. As is so often the case, you get what you pay for.
Bought an expensive posh kettle and it seems to be worth it. Pours well, boiled quickly and although I wouldn’t say it was quiet it’s a LOT quieter than the previous one. It can be boiled in the kitchen without waking me up in bed upstairs so I’m happy !!
Longevity I hope is good but we’ve only had it a month… so far I’m happy – I’m glad you can fill it so much as it saves me rebooking twice for a pan of pasta etc.

Solid well made durable good looking ( sounds like lonely hearts ad!) Wish I bought this first time, my partner complained about the price so we bought a cheaper one..lasted less than 6 months. Not much husbandry there. 100% recommended.

Great looking kettle – however filling it up when it’s hot ( if you need more than a kettle full) is tricky with the pull open lid x
When it comes to pouring this kettle is superb, no drips on the work surfaces whatsoever.
Only slight drawback is it’s hot… the outer casing gets very hot, but you soon learn not to touch it 🙂

Having used this for two months, I can say that it is of excellent quality, and worth the additional cost when compared to the everyday kettles that we can buy. I suspect that even those demanding the highest quality will be satisfied with this kettle. High recommended

Beautiful looking kettle. In a world of kettles this stands out for two reasons. First it’s a Dualit, a name synonomous with longevity and quality without being flashy or poncy. Secondly it looks great.
This replaced a bosch kettle that beeped when boiled and seemed to boil for about 20 seconds before actually switching off. Not exactly energy efficient.
It matches our new toaster, and the copper accent is sublime. The kettle boils quickly and is supremely quiet.
Not exactly cheap but you won’t be disappointed.
Brilliant thing. In truth I bought it as a little indulgence for a refurbed kitchen, and to match the toaster. If I was only after a kettle it wouldn’t have been this pricey. It is however a thing of beauty and boils water quickly and quietly

This is a beautiful kettle however only just after two months the red light which shows the kettle is switch on has stopped working on one side .A little disappointing

Well built solid kettle, looks amazing, quieter than any previous kettle I’ve owned although to call it whisper quiet is stretching the truth a little.
Boils quite quickly, no taste at all to the water, makes a lovely pot of tea. Pleased that the filter is also metal to scrub any lime scale build up.
Just need to justify spending on the matching toaster next!
Bought this to match the toaster; it boils quickly and quietly, and is a most attractive kettle with a little copper banding on the body and handle. A very solid item which evidently can be repaired so I hope to not need another kettle and toaster ever.

Stylish and colour co-ordinating for my new kitchen – good quality reflected in the price.
Seems relatively quiet, and relatively fast to boil – but nothing exceptional.
However it is exceptionally pretty, particularly when paired with the matching toaster and it looks awesome in our kitchen.
Build quality looks very good and I like the promised repairability !
Not cheap but I think it’s probably a case of, if you are reading this review, you are trying to justify the cost to yourself. In which case I say go for it.
No they aren’t. This thing oozes quality. It has a full 3kW element (many kettles now use 2kW) so boils fast. It’s quiet-ish (although not as quiet as the claims), and it pours really nicely (there’s an inner spout inside the main one).
It feels solid, and looks lovely.
Top tip: If the lid closure is stiff just bend the small spring in slightly.

We have had this kettle two days and it is the most stylish looking kettle we have had. It is lovely to handle, not heavy and boils quite quickly. This is not a noisy kettle and i have to say a lot quieter than our old one. Tad expensive but worth every penny.

Elegant and efficient, with a minimum of plastic fittings in the interior. Not sure why the water volume gauges can’t be made of reinforced glass, given the price. Never mind, though: it’s quick and quiet to boil and no trouble to pour.

This classic piece of machinery is brilliant! I just love this new colour way. It’s really silent on the boil and unlike my old kettle seems to omit less steam; which is great in my kitchen as I have the most sensitive smoke alarms! Great product.

Superb kettle. I have recently admitted that my stove top traditional kettle is impractical and decided to treat us to a modern kettle, but this one feels like a classic. it has a weight and a finish to it that says longevity and style. I’ve now had it a month and I an so pleased with the speed and the low noise I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this.
