I have used this product for 15 or 20 years and have purchased perhaps 20 pairs during that time. I am a heavy set individual and I cannot wear cheap shoes so this product I would highly recommend for people that want the ultimate level of comfort in a walking shoe. It is difficult, due to the price, to find this model and I was glad to see that Amazon could get it for me and the price was as reasonable as any other time I have purchased it from other vendors.

I’ve been buying these shoes for many years, and they are the best-wearing and most comfortable I have ever worn. I understand they have been discontinued in Ecco shops, so I was mightily relieved to find them in Amazon. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

Comfortable, warm and just a great shoe
I love Ecco shoes, they may cost a bit more but their fit and comfort is amazing. A pair of Ecco shoes will normally last me 4 to 5 yrs so the extra spend is well worth it. I have only had a very short walk in them but they are very comfortable and with the heavy tread I could hardly feel the stones on my lane. The shoes are probably a bit heavier than most people’s everyday shoes but I like this about them. Next review in another 5 years.

Have used the Track II for several years; these new Track 25 appear to be identical (the color is slightly lighter). The fit was perfect; the orthotics I had built for the Track II fit the same. I replace my shoes every year; I will leave updated information if the performance of the Track 25 doesn't measure up.

Needs toe box and instep stretching as are a little low but are worth having done. Fabulous shoe
Really great shoe with regards to build quality. Can see why they receive great reviews. There was only one review that mentioned the toe box being a little low which unfortunately also effects me after a while. I have very hard to fit feet due to bunions, also have moderate plantar fasciitis. These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn and one of the few types that allow me to be on my feet a normal amount of time daily without pain. Expensive.... but worth it.

Solid, comfortable
Bought these to replace identical pair whose sole was failing after about 12-15 years. Ideal for outdoor walking. No criticisms, except that product (made in Denmark) was hard to obtain last month as everyone seemed to be out of stock.

Great Shoes
Ecco have done it again, love these shoes. Comfortable and great grip which is very important to me as on wet days our decking can be a little slippery, but with these no problem, its like having winter tyres on. Also think the price is reasonable for a quality shoe.

Well up to ECCO standards – lightweight materials quality and high quality . It’s an EU48 or UK 13 – a generous fitting size . I am probably a 13.1 if such a thing was allowed .

Ideal Winter footwea
These are excellent shoes. Incredibly comfortable, hard wearing, and waterproof (Goretex lined). They are so good that I buy a replacement pair every 3 years or so.

Have been a long term user of this style Ecco shoe but previously in leather. .
Impressed with the fact that the appearance is the same as the leather version and should prove more waterproof. It remains to be seen whether the upper lasts as long.
I have endured years of mild plantar fasciitis. This particular shoe solved what custom made orthotics, foot doctor visits and countless other shoes haven't! I lace up the Tracker 2 and magically the heal pain subsides. After several months of wearing, I decided to buy another 2 two pairs just to have on hand. That should get me close to the end of the game.

I'll let you know during the month of April 2021. Why? Until April, 3 times a week I'll saddle soap, then rub and work in mink oil. Not as good as an Italian or Portuguese Tanner but still soft like a moccasin.

Unchanging quality over many years.
My husband has worn these shoes for years. They are comfortable, fit well and are very longlasting. Excellent all round walking/hiking shoes.
I’ve been wearing this model from Ecco for almost ten years now and I love them for the style and comfort. One warning I have for potential buyers is that the sole of the shoe will wear down long before the upper shoe starts to fail. I’ve only been getting two years of frequent use before they need to be replaced or resoled.
The pictures attached are of this model of shoe with a new pair alongside a pair I’ve worn daily for about a year and a half. These are actually holding up better than my last set at this point, probably because I’ve been home so much this year. You can see how the tread in the upper portion is already worn about halfway down in some places along the center line.

I have received this new pair of Ecco’s and I am hoping for the best. I have had other models of Ecco shoes and always been very happy with them. This pair of Ecco’s is replacing a previous pair that failed, dramatically. Basically the soles separated from the bottom of the shoes when I went to wear them. I had barely worn the previous pair and liked them. When I recently got in a situation where I needed them (basically for outside gardening and landscaping) the shoes failed and separated entirely. Because I needed shoes like these, I ordered a new pair and I wrote Ecco about a replacement for the failed pair. In the meantime, reading reviews I found that catastrophic failure of the soles, with complete separation from the shoe, has been a common problem with these shoes. My two biggest concerns are 1) that they have solved this problem current batches, and 2) that Ecco did not even return my message or concern let alone offer to replace the failed pair. The lack of corporate response and customer service is a major concern in considering any Ecco shoes in the future. I have previously been a loyal customer with many purchases from Ecco.
This is an update.
The shoes purchased recently through Amazon have been great. No problems so far. After I wrote the above review, I had a second pair of Ecco Track 25 shoes, in this case the high top) fail in the same way, a catastrophic failure of the soles of both shoes. I wrote Ecco again and quickly received a response. Ecco asked me to send back the failed pairs of shoes and provided shipping labels for the returns. Today, I received credit for replacement shoes that covered the cost of both replacements. I could have chosen different shoes, but I am very happy with the fit, comfort, and support of the Ecco Track 25 low and high top shoes. I could not have asked for better customer support, and I trust that they have saved the problem of sole failures. In any case, I now know that Ecco stands behind it product.

Toller robuster Schuh
Habe mir den Schuh fr einen Urlaub in Moskau im Winter gekauft und bin nicht enttuscht worden. Auch bei 15-20 Minus mit nur einem Paar Wollsocken kein Problem. Der Schuh ist auf Grund der hohen Sohle auch bei Schnee gut vor Feuchtigkeit geschtzt. Stundenlanges Spazierengehen kein Problem. Klare Empfehlung. Freue mich schon wieder darauf wenn es kalt wird.

I was particularly pleased to find that the design of Ecco Track 25 which was slightly altered a couple of years ago has now reverted to the original design which is a perfect fit.

I first bought Ecco shoes well over 15 years ago … I have one pair that is at least that old and was my favourite until it started to fall apart. I hoped that this pair would be a good replacement, but two things made me change my mind:
– They come up large, but my big toes still pushed through the socks after an hour or so. This is because the ‘roof’ of the shoe – the bit at the top within the stitched area – is too low and rubs against the toe. The width and length, on the other hand, are generous – perfect if you wear thicker socks or two pairs, but too big if you just want to wear standard socks.
– The soles are hard. I could hear them on the pavement. Not as loud as studs, but that sort of noise. The ‘walking experience’ on pavement was too firm. For ‘off road’ use you would certainly get good grip.
I returned these for the above issues. On the positive side, the build quality was up to Ecco standard (excellent) and in all other respects it’s a fine pair of shoes, with a natural ‘rolling’ action as you walk that’s really good. I ended up buying Ecco Rugged Track in the same size. They come out a little smaller around the foot, but the ‘height’ fit (over the toes) is better than it is with these, especially after I replaced the Ecco insoles with Granger G30 insoles.

Timeless classic
Nice pair of walking shoes, but I’m still not sure if worth the price. Being half way to ninety I choose my shoes for practical value rather than fashion. I have owned similar pair of shoes back in 1992. They lasted me four years before soles worn out. Hoping similar result this time.

Seit weit mehr als zehn Jahren verwende ich ausschlielich nur mehr Ecco Schuhe. Seitdem wurde ich nicht von der Qualitt enttuscht. Egal ob Sommer oder Winter, sie sind ein verlsslicher Partner. Bei mir hlt ein Schuhpaar ca. 14 Monate. Dann schneide ich die Ferse aus und verwende die Schuhe als Schlapfen fr den Garten.
Fr viele vielleicht interessant, der Schuh passt fr schlanke Fe.
Was mich ein wenig rgert ist, dass die Schuhe eine schlechte Verfgbarkeit haben (besondern in Ecco Stores gibt es diese Herrenschuhe NICHT zu kaufen). Auch der Name ndert sich stndig sowie die Artikelnr. Die letzten Jahre hatte ich Track II, abgelst durch Track VI und jetzt eben Track 25.
Die Schuhe unterscheiden sich an der Sohle, ansonsten gibt es kaum Unterschiede. Auf den Fotos ist der Track VI zu finden und das neue Paar sind die Track 25.
Ich kann diesen Schuh wrmstens empfehlen.

I have had a couple of pairs of these before, they last for about 5years/pair; the soles wear out before the uppers, or even the laces, show any bad signs of wear (so long as you look after them properly.) The fit me perfectly and the quality is top notch, all these together make them worth the price.

Great shoes but unfortunately 44 was too small – it’s advertised as ‘UK 10′ but I’m an absolutely standard 10 and I subsequently got a 45 which fitted perfectly. Some continental shoemakers’ 44 are a UK 10 but not on this evidence Ecco. Very painless return service and refund, would definitely buy again.

Great shoes – probably my sixth or seventh pair since 2002 and they last for ages, even for a 20+ stone heavyweight! Highly recommended, and worth every penny of the list price, so even better if reduced!

This is the third pair of this style colour i have purchased in the last 15 years Ecco shoes are excellent.The construction and wear quality are very hard to beat.
The shoes arrived on time and are satisfactory. However, they simply arrived in a box with no directions for looking after them and as the uppers are “oiled leather” it would be nice to know how best to maintain/clean/water proof them etc.

Die Marke steht fr sich. Der Schuh ist sehr gut verarbeitet und passt wie erwartet. Ich habe ihn gekauft, weil ich mit dem Vorgngermodell schon sehr zufrieden war.

ich habe meine alten Ecco Track nach 10 Jahren leider entsorgen mssen 😉 Da mir die ausgesprochen gute Qualitt, Verarbeitung und der Tragecomfort bekannt war, habe ich mir diesen Schuh jetzt gleich in 2 verschiedenen Farben gekauft.
Dieses Model ist extrem robust und unempfindlich. Die Dicke Sohle mit dem groben Profil trotzen auch der schlechten Witterung.
Man bekommt nie nasse oder kalte Fe.
Sicher ist der Schuh ein etwas teurer, aber absolut jeden Euro wert. Wie bereits erwhnt, habe ich den Vorgnger 10 Jahre in Gebrauch gehabt.

Sehr gute Qualitä
Produkt wie Erwartet, der perfekte jeden Tag Schuh, vorallem die sehr langlebige Sohle ist mir hier das Hauptanliegen. Mal schauen wie es in einem Jahr ausschaut, hoffe der Schuh hlt lnger, schade dass es keine Zwischengre gab “43,5” wre perfekt gewesen!!!!
