DC18 is a compressor dehumidifier that helps protect your home and office by controlling your indoor humidity.
Air humidity exceeding 60 per cent RH is a breeding ground for bacteria, resulting in mould, breathing difficulties, allergies and stench.
The DC18 can help to control air humidity and dry wet items in your home very efficiently by:

Electronic control panelDC18 has an electronic control panel with intelligent display and touch button technology. Manage humidity levels via a Touch Button control pad with LED display allowing total control of your appliance. Set the required level via the Humidity Display and benefit from other Self Diagnosis indicators such as Clean Me filter indicators. Manage controlled sessions too with the convenient 2 and 4 hour timer function. | Continuous hose (optional)You may use the hose provided (one metre length of 14 mm diameter) for continuous drainage to a drain or sink to save emptying the tank regularly. Condensation
Condensation is formed when warm moist air hits cold surfaces (windows, mirrors, walls, etc). Moisture in the air can also be caused by daily routines like cooking, showering, drying clothes indoor, even opening windows on a hot humid day, rainy day and when snow melts. Condensation can be reduced by using a dehumidifier to reduce the water content in the air (moisture).
Heavy condensation can cause damage to door and window frames, can increase humidity level causing air borne bacteria and discomfort.

Neat and tidy
Got this product as I have a 2 bed ground floor flat. I have set it to run in the night time and it does a great job of filling up overnight. I think I probably should have gotten something bigger. But it’s easy to move around the house because of how small and neat it is. Love it so might buy another for the other side of the house.
6 years after purchase - still going strong
We purchased the Ecoair DC12 back in 2015 and it has been a life changer. It dries two racks of wet clothing overnight in a spare room with the doors/windows shut, by morning the clothes are dry with a near full tank.
As I write this the DC12 is still working and is in weekly use, a very well made item and with some gentle maintenance should last a lot longer.
I would recommend that owners check not only the dust filter but also the metal radiator fins behind the filter, mine was clogged with fluff and stopping airflow. You may be able to get a small hoover attachment in-between or like I did take the plastic fascia off:
1) Turn the unit off
2) Take a crosshead screwdriver and remove the rear screws (iirc 4-6 screws)
3) The fascia will pull away and you can then either brush or gentle hoover the fluff out from in-between the grills
I did this 2 years ago and the performance increase obviously was much improved.
Only downsides for me would be the noise as it does drone and always has, fan noise is fine but the “brrr brrr brrr” is painful but for me it’s 9/10 for the product well done Ecoair.

Bought this to control humidity in a reptile room and it has been absolutely faultless. Never expected it to last this long especially considering it is always in use.
It would need to be in a very hot and wet room to fill it’s tank in a single day.

Bought this dehumidifier for a damp cold room. It has been running 24/7 for 3 weeks now and the room is now a lot warmer and damp free.
The unit is quiet and efficient, I would recommend this purchase to anyone who has damp issues.

Works well
I had a damp problem which once the source was solved this dried everything really well and quickly, I was amazed how much water it removed
