Set this up in the bedroom, we had a little problem with black mould under the bay window, we have ran this for about two weeks, the mould has faded and no more growth seems to be growing, I empty this about twice a day as I Dont want it filling to the top, and the amount of water it collected surprised me, would recommend this product.

Has taken my garage from 85% humidity down to 45%. Exactly what I needed. Great product.

This dehumidifier works really well and I’m very happy with the unit. Just beware though as its not cheap to run and it uses approximately 600w. I did think the eco setting was 300w but it alternates depending on the humidity levels in the area. Definitely starts to mount up on you electricity bill.

Just works. Oscillating vent is a good addition, makes sure the air in the room circulates properly.

BRILLIANT PRODUCT. A LONGER CORD WOULD BE GREAT AS IT IS BETTER NOT TO PLUG INTO AN EXTENSION LEAD OTHER THAN THAT JUST BRILLIANT

I had the old one which is still working for more than 5 years and now I bought the newer model as the demand is extended.
I definitely say it is perfect.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought unit about 4 weeks ago. I live in a medium sized studio apartment and suffered from mould and heavy condensation around the double glazed windows. Condensation completely gone. Not anticipating return of mould either. Sufficiently quiet when on low to run during the night. Approximately 1.25 litres decanted every morning. Use the clothes horse rather than dryer for laundry saving a pretty penny. Laundry successfully dries overnight, even on low, but the water catchment tank will be, understandably, near to or completely full. Th unit is not expensive to run and has the useful side effect of blowing warmish exhaust air, ergo ameliorating my heating bill too! Could not too highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is the third one I’ve bought from this company. The last one lasted 5 years. I have 4 stars as they’re not cheap and I’d like it to last longer but they are very good at what they do.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHumidity in my home often goes in to 90’s both upstairs and down. DD128 brings it down to 55%-65%. I just set it for 4 hours on low power and it does the job. Pulls a couple of litres out of the air in the time it’s on. I’m thinking about getting another rather than keep carry this one up and down stairs. It has also warmed the home – after a while of running it blows out warm air. The air is also much cleaner, fresher in the home since I started using the DD128 – so am very happy. Last 2 dehumidifier’s failed to work well in my cold home (4C-12C because no heating so have to use electric portable radiators) so sent them back and bought desiccant DD128 – so far temp hasn’t gone below 10C and mostly stays around 14C without heating.

I’ve had refrigerant dehumidifiers in the past. But the eco air dessicant one is the best one to date. Light and east to move. The water tray is easy to remove. Very compact. The air is the room I placed the dehumidifier in was more comfortable with a few hours. There is a noise whilst it’s running….it doesn’t bother me but it is noticeable. So pleased I chose this dehumidifie

After reading up on the best humidifiers on the market I went in search of the cheapest place to get the suggested model. Obviously it was on Amazon. The unit works really well and extracts a lot of water from our bedroom. The timer is great as we can set it to switch off during the night. The quiet setting is quiet enough to be able to sleep in the same room and I’ve found my allergies have eased a lot since we started using it. It’s easy to use, easy to carry and empty, no complaints.

I’ve had my eco air dehumidifier for over 7 years, it has helped with drawing so much moisture out of the room, I’ve used it everyday since I’ve had it.

I am both epileptic and asthmatic and suffer incredibly with pollen. So when my family have the windows open throughout the house, I escape to my room where the room has been filtered, or, close the windows, put the dehumidifier on, with the ionizer feature on and I can be in the same room as them.
Also, when I had one of my grand mal seizures, knocked this over, it turned itself off, the water did leak out from the container you would usually empty, which I was so nervous about when I had woken up, but it still works and that was 5 years ago.

I wouldn’t shop with anyone but eco air now, fully converted.

Black mould raises its head every winter, but this bad boy stopped it dead.
Very easy to use, with preset timer & power settings and laundry drying.
Ideal for colder temperatures/ older houses.
Slightly noisier than a fan so positioned outside bedroom.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy last dehumidifier stopped working after less than 12 months and I was looking for a replacement. This has less “bells and whistles” than the last one. No digital display, not WiFi enabled but it’s lighter and easier to moves thanks to carry handle. After a couple of times using I don’t miss the features of the other unit and hoping this one lasts much longer.

I bought this for the moisture in my bungalow. In the winter my windows in the morning were dripping wet, even when they were open slightly. It drove me mad having to wipe them every morning, until I bought this dihumidifier. It is absolutely brilliant and no more wet windows. It even feels warmer in the bungalow too. It’s great value for money, not too bulky and very easy to use. I definitely recommend. I put it on at night on economy setting and now my problems are over!!

I bought this for using in my garage which I use as a gym. In the winter the garage floor becomes wet with condensation. I don’t look forward to exercising there as the exercise mat gets all dirty and the floor is wet.

Had this dehumidifier running a few weeks now, within a few days the floor was dry and haven’t had a wet floor since. It’s not too big, can be lifted on top of workbench out the way. Would recommend.

Looks good, it’s light and easy to move, and the water tray is really easy to remove and empty. Our wallpaper was damp from a continual leak from ages ago and it has quickly sucked the damp out of the wall. Really great product, would definitely recommend.

Decided to go for this brand over another brand. Very simple to use and I like the fact it is nice and compact with various options. I have a damp and mould issue in an unheated extension and humidity is over 70% so I’m hoping this does the trick and reduces it. Not noisy at all no louder than a small fan heater.

The humidity in our house was over 80 percent and was causing damp patches on our upstairs walls. We’ve been running it most of the day for about a week and it has reduced to 60 sometimes 50. It’s not too loud either.

ABSOLUTELY love it! I’ve been using it for 3 years and still going. I use every mode throughout a week. My house feels warmer and dryer, I’m not using my tumble dryer as much as I put the ecoair in my laundry room and dry my clothes in no time. HIGHLY recommend this product. So very quiet too, just blends in my home!

To be honest, I don’t know how I managed without this dehumidifier beforehand! It is definitely one of the best purchases that I have made for many years. You can really feel the difference in the air after the Ecoair has worked it’s magic. It has greatly reduced the mould, almost removed my allergy symptoms; due to mouldy and dust. The air in our home (medium-sized, 3-bedroom) is fresher and cleaner. It does work very well throughout our home, however we are contemplating getting another. I would definitely and highly recommend. Great customer service too. We had a problem with our unit after a few weeks; the customer service was quick and knowledgable. As we’re Amazon customer service, who have the best customer service that I have ever experienced. Thank you Ecoair and Amazon!

I already have a “compressor” type that fails, by over freezing, as soon as the temperature drops below 6 degrees. OK this is for my garage, as I like to keep the moisture levels down to a “recommended” 55% humidity. Ever got into your car and everything “mists up” because it’s cold, and damp inside? This machine is nothing short of brilliant! My garage is being kept at 55% humidity without any trouble at all on the normal setting. And this is a double garage. I can only imagine how good it would be in a house! And we all use steam irons don’t we? My advice? If you are looking for a dehumidifier don’t waste your hard earned brass on compressor models. This is cheaper to run and far, far more efficient.

This was bought due to having considerable condensation in the bathroom following showering etc. As it is an old building and an extension, not a lot of insulation and all tiled. The condensation was unbelievable and wiping down was a nightmare. Advised to try one of these and had been given a good review on this one in particular. I was worried as it was expensive and whether it would work. It did and it does remove loads of water. It is easy to use and empty and you can gauge how much water has been removed. It looks quite good for what it is and the job it does. More than pleased with this and hoping it will reduce the problem of damp and mould. Only negative aspect, would have liked the packaging inside to be cardboard rather than foam being on the eco side of things.
