I’ve had this a couple of years now and it works as well as the day I got it. Battery charges quickly, got a good number of height settings so you can cut different heights of grass for spring, summer etc… and it is so much less faffing about than running around with extension cables and trying not too cut them.

The mower was great but unlike some manufacturers who supply a spare battery it was necessary for me to buy a further battery to complete mowing my lawn in one go.

Easy to use just make sure you have this on the right height for cutting grass, I couldn’t wait to try it out and had it in the lowest oops ! It is so easy to manoeuvre and cuts with ease I even cut the grass when it was all dewy and it cut perfectly not even sticking . There is a two pronged key that you have to push in above the battery it’s a safety thing without the key it won’t start so good if you had to leave were there’s children around ..No more stepping on wires or the worry of going over them . I am very impressed with this as I’ve been looking at it last year and it doesn’t disappoint .

So it’s just had its first run-out.
Out of the box it was very easy to assemble.
It’s well designed and well made.
It’s light enough but not flimsy
There’s been one or two reviews questioning the robustness and quality- take no notice it is fine. It seems of higher quality than my old Bosch mains mower.
So the battery was given a good charge and off we went, it’s quiet manoeuvrable and seems to have adequate power.
I was conscious of battery life mowing my fairly small lawn – I need not have been – the charge meter built into the battery told me afterwards it was more or less still fully charged
Bearing in mind this is significantly under 200 it’s good value for money.
I have to say mowing the grass without worrying about the cable made things much easier, and so vindicated my decision.

I bought this reluctantly when my B&Q petrol mower met it’s maker.

I didn’t want an electric mower as I thought petrol ones were the way to go. Quick snap shot

    1) Really light, probably 1/3 the weight of the petrol mower that was the same size, a massive plus
    2) Doesn’t make a lot of noise, neighbours are probably more happy
    3) So much easier to get out and mow the lawn, no need to check petrol or oil or pull a rip cord 2000 times to make it work.
    4) wife is happier because the lawn is getting mowed more regularly
    5) If you have other Einhell tools, you should have multiple batteries and chargers which does help, our garden is around 70m2 and sometimes you need the help of 2 batteries to cover it all
    6) Very easy lowering mechanism for longer or shorter grass

Bad points – seems to use battery quickly, so make sure you have spares at hand. Motor is OK but not the same as a petrol, so it does sometimes bog down in longer/thicker/wet grass.

Other than that, great piece of kit, and i’m now a petrol to electric convert

In the lawn mower sense anyway. Won’t be trading my 3L twin turbo car with pops and bangs in for an electric vehicle anytime soon.

My mower has “21v” on battery and charger. I’ve looked for an extra battery but can only find “18v” for this model. I’m puzzled. 21v on my battery but no such thing on sale! Please, can anyone explain why.

I have moved to a smaller garden & needed a lighter mower. It had to tackle a large overgrown lawn at my previous house before I moved & I was amazed how it coped & cut. The smaller grass box is great. Yes it needs emptying more often but is much lighter & easier. I bought a second battery tpo so always have one ready. Recommended.

No nonsense mower. Took 5 mins to set up. Doesn’t cut as short as my previous mower, but that’s a minor quibble. Battery life perfectly adequate for a medium sized lawn.

Getting on a bit and fed up with tangling myself in the cable, I decided to go cordless. Einhell seemed to fit the bill according to reviews, and so far they are correct. Lightweight, easy to manouver and, crucially, the battery lasts for both my grass areas. Churned up the damp grass/lawn a bit on the lowest setting but, once adjusted to the next lowest, it seemed fine. Recommended.

he lawnmower is good but I am unable to acquire spare batteries at my home address making the lawnmower less useful as it doesn’t have enough battery power to allow me to complete mowing my lawn. Why didn’t Amazon make me aware of this fact prior to my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been using a 40v Swift cordless mower for the past few years but as I’ve been building a collection of Einhell PXC tools and batteries I wanted to switch to an Einhell PXC mower to standardise on batteries.

I bought this on Prime Day for 139.99 which is 40 below the usual price (and with an RRP over 200). This is with a 4.0 ah battery and charger.

The mower is of a simple design, the handle is not articulated and only folds in half rather than the double-hinged type of more expensive models.

The main benefit of this mower is its light weight. At only around 10kg it’s much lighter than many other mowers. The grass box is smaller than many, but this helps to keep the mower light and though it needs emptying more often than a larger mower, every grass box needs emptying and it’s better to have a lighter box to empty slightly more often than working up a sweat lugging extra weight around.

Being only 18v it doesn’t have the extra grunt of higher-powered models, so if you’re the kind who mows long, damp grass. this isn’t the machine for you. If the grass just needs trimming, it will cut damp grass just fine. Additionally, using a single battery, you’re more likely to have another ready to swap out, rather than needing four batteries (two in use, two on charge) that a 36v mower would require.

All told, it’s an easy 5 star product if you’re after a lightweight Einhell PXC mower.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOpted for this mower on Prime day as I was borrowing my neighbours electric lawnmower, not ideal especially when running extension cable from first floor flat. Wasn’t sure how this would cope with my uneven ground which is full of moss. Admittedly this was a weekly trim but very impressed so far. I have quite a large lawn area and this more than coped on the 2 charge, very easy to manoeuvre, lightweight to use, only needed emptied twice but then it was just a weekly trim. Usually takes me a good hr & a half if not longer to mow the lawn, including cable set up & tidy up. I was in and out in 40 mins, mower cleaned and packed away, pots all back in position. Will be interesting to see how this mower copes with first cut of the year next spring.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressed on first use

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis lawnmower is a good option for small lawns. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for those who don’t want to struggle with a heavy lawnmower.

It has a 33 cm cutting width, which is enough to mow most small lawns in a single pass. The height of cut is adjustable from 20 to 60 mm, so you can customize your lawn to your liking.

It is powered by an 18 V battery, which is included in the kit which we bought. The battery provides enough power to mow a small lawn on a single charge.

Pros for first couple of days:

    Lightweight and easy to maneuver
    33 cm cutting width
Height of cut adjustable from 20 to 60 mm
Powered by an 18 V battery
    Foldable handle for easy storage
Grass catcher with a 30-liter capacity

    Neutral:

The battery life is not great. You may need to charge the battery after mowing a small lawn.
The grass catcher can be difficult to empty.

I wasn’t sure if I really believed that a battery powered mower could really do the job but I’ve been so impressed with this mower. Did my lawn on one charge and had no problem chewing through the length.
I bought this one as I already have several Einhell power x change tools, it’s a great system.
Don’t regret buying it at all, in fact mowing the lawn is quicker and easier as the mower is lighter to manoeuvre and there’s no cord to keep moving around. Highly recommended.

I’ve only used this once so far, having bought it during the Prime Day sale. It’s easy to assemble and seems well built. The battery and charging system appears to be good. The first cut I used it for was on damp grass which was longer than ideal. It cut surprisingly well though used up the battery a little quicker than I’d hoped. I suspect this would be fine on dry grass which hadn’t been allowed to get quite so long, or if I’d used a higher cutting setting. The mower is light and compact. The grass box isn’t huge but absolutely fine for the size of mower. It has good safety features and can be registered for a 3 year warranty. I’ll update this review if necessary but first impressions are excelle

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great choice of cordless mower. I might struggle with huge lawns but for the average urban lawn it’ll easily do several cuts without recharging. As it come with a large battery it’s good for the other tools in the Einhell range that take the Power Xchange batteries. I’ve just picked up a nail gun to use with the battery. My only gripe it that it doesn’t fold away so much as the handle folds in half, which tbh isn’t very clever. It came fully assembled other than the handle so no fiddling clipping bits together. All in all I’m very impressed and love not having trailing wires around the garden. I also seem to cut the lawn a lot quicker than with my old electric mover too!

All in all it’s very good and overall I’m very impressed with my first Einhell prduct.

This mower is much lighter to use. My wife complained the FlyMo was too heavy and hurt her back so I bought he this one! (what a nice husband eh). Joking apart we’re happy with the quality and finnish of the mower and it cuts our (more moss than grass lawn) quite well. probablky a 150sq m lawn on one 4Ah battery (just). That’s a light trim and I suspect with a normal grass cut every week or two will only cut approx 1/2 that area. Overall happy with the mower and bought a second 4Ah battery (and charger as it was cheaper that way) so we should be good for cutting without stopping to recharge etc.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe mower is supplied with only a few things necessary to do prior to use, such as charging the battery and putting on the handle. Once charged the battery clips in the front. There is an additional safety key that also has to be in place before the mower is ‘live’. The final thing to do before use is to adjust the cutting height.

To use the mower a safety button must be pressed by one hand followed by squeezing the bar on the handle with the other. There is then a slight lag before the motor starts. Once the bar is pressed the safety button can be released. This sequence is important as it means that rather than applying power intermittently, I tend to keep the bar depressed which obviously uses more battery. I have a number of Einhell power X-change tools and batteries so battery life is not a problem for me as I can just slip in a new battery when the old one is exhausted. My garden is larger than the recommended size and, more importantly, fiddly with a number of sloping surfaces. I find a full battery will not cover the whole cut unless the lawn length is well under control but I would say the battery life is good. The mower is light (for a lawn mower) so works well on my slopes and is easy to carry up steps. The grass box is a reasonable and manageable size and the quality of the cut is good.

This mower is smaller than the one I had before but it does not take me any longer to mow the grass as it is so much easier to manoeuvre. I am very happy with Einhell tools and using this mower in a medium sized garden. I would happily buy it again.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersDone my first cut today. done a great job. My garden is about 50 metres squared. Used only one bar of battery. The mower itself is quiet small. the cutting distance is 33cm so that is about from your knuckles to your elbow. However because you can manouver it about so easily you will get the job done. The box is small and it does fill pretty quickly, but fits alot because it mulches really well. You dont get that half box issue where the grass starts to bleed. When its full its full and the handy little tab indicator helps to know. sound wise it sounds probably like a hairdryer, about that loud. Its light but not as light as i thought it would be, but definitely lighter than a petrol. I hit a few tall bits of grass and it does struggle just a little on those bits, but if you keep your lawn cut regularly then there would be no problem with this. height wise there are two settings, i am 5’10” so i kept it on the lower setting which was good. the second setting would suit someone over 6′. The build feels pretty sturdy when assembled, no flopyness and feels solid. All in all i have to say it done a great job and the final product looks really nice. I have nothing to say how long it will last or how robust it is but i guess time will tell. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving read the reviews about the grass basket I was concerned but I needn’t have worried as it came assembled. Our grass was very long and I manually cut it down first before using it. I charged the battery fully. It was very easy to use and iI managed to cut both sides before the battery ran out of charge. I feel the next cut will not use up as much battery as the grass will be a lot shorter. The only thing was that there was alot of cut grass on the ground instead of in the basket. However I will see how it is next time now the grass is shorter.
