Works well but a bit fiddly to install
There is not enough give in the sides of the crate at the bottom to fix the divider flush with the bottom, so I installed it a bit higher up and our puppy somehow managed to get under it and stuck on the other side of the divider. I have now fixed it on a slight diagonal which means she cannot get under it any more and all is well.

This has been designed for Ellie Bo. I knew this when ordering but I couldn’t find any other dividers for a 36inch crate! We used pliers to make the loop smaller however it of course doesn’t fit perfectly still however it does do the job. My crate was too big for him before meaning my puppy would soil the crate. With this he is more confined (but comfortable) so as long as he’s taken out to go toilet there are no accidents (so a lot less than before we had the divider as his space is smaller) I’d definitely recommend. I think a smaller area helps them to feel comfortable too. I would however recommend a playpen if using a small crate so that they can be contained safely but not In such a small space.
Good but missing pins
Pen is really great, does exactly what we wanted and our dog feels safe in it.
Only downside is it came without enough pins and two of them were bent. It still.works though we’ve had to use a bamboo cane in place of one pin.
Works well in non Ellie Bo crate.
Good quality. Works with our Non Ellie Bo branded 36″ crate. There’s a small gap at the bottom which allows the flat dog bed from PAH to slide underneath.
Gap of about 3 inches at the top which is no problem as the puppy can’t get over it.

Good divider. Fits perfectly for dog cage it is designed for. Takes some manouvering to get it in place. Works only well if you have the high up mattress in place on bottom of cage or it leaves room for dog to get head trapped or stuck as there is a large gap above or below depending where you fit it.

Well priced ,fits well and fits non Ellie-Bo crates
I have a 36″ crate (not by Ellie-Bo) and the divider fits it well. The aim was to divide the crate whilst the pup is young, to give an appropriate sized sleeping area. It is not heavy and seems robust . The fixing hooks were pliable to position. It solved the problem of buying more than one crate whilst the pup is growing. The slight down side is we can no longer use both crate doors and there is a gap at the bottom of the divider which could entrap an exploring pup. The latter was solved by fitting on top of a full size crate mattress (we chose one from the Ellie-Bo range) which ensured there was a tight fit. The quality of the Ellie-Bo range and the value for money was a factor in buying the crate cover too. Pleased with the purchase.
Expensive but did what I needed
My puppy is way too small for her crate right now. It didnt quite fit with my crate but worked with tie wraps. Could’ve been a bit cheaper as it was quite expensive but works.
Easy to install and good quality
I don’t know why other reviewers had issues with it. Its very sturdy, well made and was easy to fit.
If you have a deep crate bed it fits fine.

Does the job, easy fitting.
Works fine for us. As mentioned in the description, there is a gap at the bottom to allow the bed to go underneath. There is also a gap at the top … which hasn’t been a problem. It has successfully separated the crate. Those stating it took them 30 mins to fit I worry for. I can do it in 10 seconds or so.

Fits well in Ellie – Bo crate we have, little tricky to fit but once it’s on does the job. We are keeping the crate smaller while he’s a puppy and this was a much cheaper option than buying two crates.

Does exactly as required. Doesn’t receive five stars as it is not particularly easy to use and, frustratingly despite being ordered with the cage, required additional postage and arrived separately.
Saved me buying a smaller crate
I got the larger crate for at home, but in the car the dog was just too loose and got too fretful.
Having looked at the prices of smaller crates just to use in the car, I almost gave up hope. then I saw this and took a chance. Glad I did as it’s saved me at least 25.
I have sectioned off the dogs part of the large crate and it is bolstered up the other side by the normal car storage items such as oil, water etc. the dog cant get at it so its all safe. The only thing i got extra was some foam lagging for 2 from the plumbers and cushioned the top so he cant hurt himself if theres sudden jolt on the brakes or a knock sideways.
