I am forcing everyone I know to buy one
I hate hoovering, so we ended up getting one, thinking it was going to be terrible. But these are the best thing I brought. Ended up buying two one for up and one for down. Have 5 cats and the carpets look good as new every day now. Saved me from fleas and cat hai

    Fantastic
I have never been a fan of robot vacuum cleaners but was talked into it by family members and OMG I wish I had this vacuum years ago. Its absolutely amazing and has a really strong suction. I have a shark downstairs and a G tech upstairs and this is definitely the best out of the 3. The other 2 are now redundant. If you are thinking about buying go ahead I promise you will not regret it. I’m like a kid at Xmas with this vacuum.

    It’s good
So basically, as a pet owner and someone who hates hoovering, it’s very handy. Does a nice job.

However my two gripes are, on max suction the battery life could be better, and the mop feature isn’t amazing to be fair. It’s the equivalent of rubbing a wet cloth on the ground gently. It won’t remove stains for instance.

I got this during Prime Day for a good price. Not sure I’d recommend it at full price.

Thorough cleaning of rugs and laminate
I bought this bot to replace my old Deebot and you can tell how much technology has advanced in 5 years! The bot is easy to connect and sync with a smartphone and it quickly and very accurately mapped the entire flat.
It works by first cleaning the permiter of a room and then a systematic cleaning of the rest of the surfaces.
I have 2 cats that shed a lot and I myself have long hair, the bot takes itself to detangle and empty the bag 2-3 times per flat clean and then automatically returns to the exact spot it was cleaning before it had to unload.
It is significantly noisier than my previous model, but it also cleans 10 times better, including the rugs which are now spotless.
Overall I’m very impressed and happy with this cleaning robot.

The improved suction makes a world of difference
Bought this for my parents to help them tackle the constant job of clearing dog hair. They already had an older eufy model on the ground floor, this one was for the first floor and they are suitably impressed. I was weary of it falling down the stairs, but so far so good! The next time I visited I immediately noticed how much clearer it was, and the difference in performance is so noticeable compared to the older, they are looking to upgrade the downstairs one. Also worth noting that they didn’t see the point in a robot vacuum at first, had it not been a gift they would never have got one, and now they are totally convinced and wouldn’t be without them!!

    My little helpe
Having a robot vacuum is like having a toddler help you clean, he bumps into stuff, you have to keep an eye on him, he gets distracted, you have to move everything out of his way but overall he does help loads. I set him off before I walk my dog and I come home to lovely hoovered floors, granted he can’t get to some places and some areas I had to put as no-go zones because of cables etc but he helps keep the pet hair at bay for a few days before I hoover with my Dyson. He is our new family member and now wouldn’t be without him. His battery lasts enough for a 2 bedroom flat, the app is pretty good and easy to navigate, and the more you use it the easier and better he becomes because of his mapping sensors. Overall I think eufy is wonderful and worth every penny

    Amazed but…..
Well I am amazed. I have three cats on hard floors in a two bed apartment. Send this out twice a day and it’s just brilliant. See the picture. My floors look cleaner just do pleased.

However you can only connect this to the WiFi on the 2.5ghx. My router won’t do it and to be honest not sure I understand it all.
But no where in all the sakes literature does it say this. Very naughty. So have to bend down and press the button.
Nevertheless it’s still a great buy. Recommend.

    Better than I imagined!
I didn’t want to buy this Robovac as I wasn’t sure it would cope with our ground level clutter (chair legs, table legs etc) but on the wife’s ‘advice’ I went ahead and bought it. And I have to say I’ve been extremely impressed by its navigation skills. We got it as we have 2 long haired cats and keeping on top of the fur was a daily chore. Obviously this isn’t going to replace a proper vacuum if you have pets but it means that for us anyway we only need to get the big vac out once a week and robovac does keep the hair and trailed litter under control. Instructions say it needs 0.5 metre either side and 1.5 metres in front from its ‘home’ but I have it under a kitchen unit where an unused plinth heater was which as you can see has barely 6 inches either side and it always finds its way home….. u love it!

Don’t hesitate to buy one I love it!!
I’d looked at robot hoovers for some time but always sceptical if it was more of a gimmick!
    How wrong was I
    Absolutely love it
After initially setting it off on the landing I was stood on guard on the stairs with baited breath scared it would fall down the stairs, I shouldn’t have worried, it went on the Hoover 4 bedrooms the main bathroom and ensuite (tiled) with battery life left too.
I have the dock station in the kitchen and when it’s finished doing its business it’s proudly shouts out ‘finished cleaning heading home’ and takes itself to the dock to start charging again. Obv upstairs there’s no dock so it just ends were it started.
I’ve tried the mopping facility too which I am more than happy with also doesnt soak the floor either. All in all well worth the money I paid which was 229 however after recommending this to my friends i discovered on prime day the price had increased to 339 which left me a little perplexed
Also there’s an app to download which shows you a map of the area that has been hoovered and you can set it off to work remotely.
Great piece of kit for what I paid! over the moo

    Amazing
Thought about a robot cleaner ever since moving to my little bungalow a year ago – but was sceptical. Was it just another electronic gimmick? Had tried a stick vacuum cleaner but they are just too heavy for my back so donated that to one of my granddaughters. Have still got the good old Henry but really no room in this tiny house to wield such a cumbersome tool and he has to live in the garage.

Decided to have a go at this robot particularly because of the self empty station – it it amazing! A grandson has just set it up for me and it has trundled around mapping every where. Has made a very good job of cleaning, transitioning from hard floor to rugs with no problem, even quite thick rugs. Next step is to link to Alexa but i think we both need a tea break!

    Amazing time saving little friend
Decided on the Eufy L60 SES as I wanted a robovac that looked after itself.
This really is a time saver, room mapping is very easy, even carried our Robovac upstairs and you can add maps for multiple floors.
Mapping took around 5 minutes and then your ready to clean.
Our new friend then makes it’s way around the house, a room at a time starting with the edges before moving around the room dodging tables and chairs before announcing task completed and making it’s way back to the Base. It then auto cuts any hairs wrapped around the brush, empties it’s on dustbox and charges itself back up.
Only issue we’ve found it it’s not to happy with our black deep pile rug but I’m not surprised as it’s a very thick rug. You can set exclusions in the app so it avoids areas if needed. Also detects stairs so it won’t fall down any steps etc.
Very pleased with our new addition and would definitely recommend to others.

A game changer for busy families
    * super easy to use, once you have the downstairs/upstairs mapped you can just click the button on the front and it’s off.

*does a great clean, and leaves lovely hoover marks but can’t get right in a nook of a tight corner.

    * it is slightly noisy but it’s not ridiculous in noise.

*charge seems to last a decent amount of time. I do empty the rubbish collection after each time it goes round.

    * a great size and sits nicely in the corner, it’s a very clever bit of kit and we haven’t had any issues with it navigating our home.

    * I can’t comment on the mop function yet as I haven’t used it

    * it’s been a great bit of kit for busy families, as I can target specific rooms as well as a whole floor plan clean. Those little black bits from football? Gone.

This has been an excellent addition to our home and I would definitely re buy in the future.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat once you get your head round the app
Bought this to replace an old Excelvan unit that died.
Found mapping the same floor twice improved efficiency and solved the robot not “climbing” the ramp to charge/empty.
The app has lots of features hidden away and not that intuitive to find them.
Once sorted it does a great job and it’s addictive looking at the map while cleaning !
Shame there isn’t a sensor to alert when the inboard dust bin is full and empty automatically.
I know it can be programmed to empty after a clean or time period but this should be done as standard.
Going to map our first and second floors later.
Means leaving the base station down stairs and carrying the the robot upstairs and let it do it’s mapping and cleaning.
I believe it will stop at the place I put it down.
Photo is after selecting 2x cleaning mode.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersWorks very well, needing very little attention once set up.
This Eufy has 4 levels of suction power (I’ve only needed to use the minimum so far), has mapping for several floors, and is easy to control from the app or even via Alexa for simple commands. Once I’d let it explore the main house floor I could amend the map to keep it away from my dining table, where the tubular U-shaped chair legs caused it problems. I also set a ‘no mopping’ zone to stop it from escaping from the kitchen when the mopping cloth is attached.
After carrying it to the bedroom floor it created a second map and when it couldn’t locate its docking station it went back to its starting point and shut down after announcing what it was doing.
The emptying cycle is quite noisy for about 30 seconds or so, and might be disturbing if run at night. On the first run round my main floor it returned to base several times to empty and once to recharge before being satisfied, but since then it completes the job every day in one pass, taking under 30 minutes without needing any intervention.
The automatic cleaning of the roller brush works for dog hair (we have a visiting Labrador, which is why a daily vac is needed) but cannot cope with my wife’s long hair which it picks up from the bedroom floor. Cleaning the roller brush manually it is not difficult though, as it simply unclips and Eufy provides a small bladed tool to cut through hair tangles.
When the vac starts up, it performs a quick orientation each time to work out which map to use and then just gets on with the job. Apart from carrying it between floors when required and replacing the dust bag in the docking station (compatible bags are not expensive, and I’m still on the original after 25 days of daily use) it has just blended in to the household and even the dogs accept being nudged out of the way occasionally!

We have a cat. He is fluffy. I would see dust, fur, litter everywhere and was embarassed of my home. Both hubby and I work long days and are often too tired to get the hoover out and hoover our house as much as it needed to be cleaned. We now hoover from the sofa! We turn Eufy on daily every morning downstairs and it whirls around cleaning 90% of the floor space. It does suck up strands of rugs, so ensure you move these before switching on the device. Easy to empty, charge and use. Only qualm is that it isn’t that smart and can’t detect grime/obstacles until it hits them haha. Often it avoids a bit of dirt even when pointed towards it. That said, for the money, it’s 100% worth it and I’m recommending it to everyone.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI've had my little friend for a while now...
Little Eufy is an excellent companion, she’s very easy to use, linked to Google assistant, so all I need to do is, “Hey Google, vacuum carpet” and she’s off on her quest to clean up. You’ve got to watch her on occasion, she tends to fight with the odd loudspeaker lead, or shoelace, but once you realise this, and tuck loose ends away, she can be trusted to perform her task flawlessly, on the floor. Schedule a daily task for her, and she’s ever eager to please. When she’s done, she’ll return back to her docking station, and eject her collected detritus, so you don’t need to pick up after her, if you know what I mean. When she gets tired, and needs to recharge, she’ll head for home all by herself, for a little pick-me-up. Eufy, is just like a little dog, if she were to sheds hair, she’ll simply return home and clean her brush, with the “hair cutter” built into her kennel, sorry, base. She can’t hold much of a conversation, just giving you a warning of what she’s up to. It’s excellent to watch her, hugging along skirting boards, expertly navigating around the furniture, and remembering where she’s been. She makes a little noise, but not enough to annoy, because you know she’s working hard. Once she’s let off the leash (?) she quickly gets to know her environment, she’s got an excellent memory, she always knows where she is, so cleaning coverage is well catered for, and if it’s a large area, her task is briefly interrupted whilst she pops home for a charge. When she’s in her kennel, she’s automatically charging, ready, and willing for next time. Now coming back to the real world, just lift the flap on the top, and grab the refuse bag, to empty. There’s a filter there too, (this can be a little stiff to remove), which is washable, but cheap enough to replace. You can easily set up a, no-go area in the app, where you can also completely command your robot vacuum (or pet). Integration with Google assistant, I have heard of something called Alexa, but never used it, is excellent, you just need to learn what to say. This is my favourite purchase of all time, an excellent companion, “get down Eufy, and stop chewing the curtains!”

Already much better than my older cheaper alternative that didn't have LIDAR (lasers)
LIDAR is a game changer. I had an older 100 quid model that didn’t have it and it was a pain to deal with. It will knock my bin over, push my shoes around, get stuck under my office chair, etc.

This thing… maps out a room quite accurately in under 2 minutes, then continually improves the map as it cleans and bumps into things. And speaking of bumping into things, it stops a lot quicker so it doesn’t drag them around or knock things over. It’s definitely a lot smarter than anything without LIDAR.

Even if its your first ever robot vacuum, I highly recommend skipping the super budget tier without LIDAR and going straight to something that supports LIDAR and more importantly NO GO zones. The ability to make it stay away from rats nest of a desk (desktop computer, 4 monitors, speakers, audio devices, etc make for a lot of cables that I cba to properly arrange) as well as the ability to make it stay away from under my office chair is god tier. I can actually leave it unattended now, instead of the older one which I had to watch as it works in case it gets stuck every few minutes or knocks something over.

Had this for a single clean so far and it’s made a massive difference. Suction is good enough for my carpet. Will update review if the app gets worse or brakes or if the robot doesn’t last more than at least 2 years, but so far it’s great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersX8 pro SES - Great little helpe
Love this. Had it 9 months so feel able to give a well tested review.

I chose this because of the empty station and mop. However, the mopping function is more of a floor wipe and I probably would’ve been better getting the cheaper SES eufy vacuum without the mop function. I have still given 5 stars because I’m so happy with the performance of this little beauty.

First set her to mapping the layout of your house via the app (which is excellent in my opinion) close any doors of the rooms you don’t want to include, I won’t let her (yes she’s a she, she vacuums!) into my son’s room for obvious reasons. Then, in the app, section off the doorways to enable you to name your rooms. You can set her to clean individual rooms or the whole house, auto clean by day and time or set it off manually via the app or using Alexa. She only got lost once when the wifi went off but I left her alone and in a couple of minutes she reconnected spun a couple circles and went happily on her way. There is an option to vacuum just a small area of a room by drawing on the map, works a treat. You can have multiple maps but I’ve only used one.

The dust box is small but this isn’t a problem because when she’s full she’ll go back to her station and empty then go back to where she left off and resume cleaning.

The route is planned, not random. First she’ll go around the edge of the room anticlockwise so the edging brush gets right up to the skirting board. Then she plans her route not going over the same area twice unless she has to cross it to get to her next job.

I can definitely recommend this machine, we have dogs, we live on a farm and the family call her my indoor baler, she’s been well tested in that respect. She goes round everyday and honestly my house has never been so clean, I just wish she could reach the cobwebs on my ceilings.

Well, what can I say. I’m really surprised at this. I never thought a little robot would keep my house so clean and dust free!
The fact I got a voucher which took the price down to a very pleasant buy, and downloading the app and setting it up was easy, and now this little man runs around my small bungalow daily and collects all the bits and dust and cat hair.
I’ve 2 cats who are in and out all the time, this keeps my all over wooden floor dust and hair free. It also seems to have no issues with any rugs, not even my vax can cope with these. It’s easy to empty, it goes back to its dock and recharges after it’s clean. I honestly thought this would be a waste of money but my vax hasn’t been out in over a week! Impressive.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersExcellent Purchase - Surprised How Good This Vacuum Cleaner Is
I have been using this vacuum cleaner for about three weeks and it does a superb job. I live in a very dusty old 1950s flat and the carpets are now cleaner than they have been in years. I used the Eufy multiple times in each room for an initial deep clean and it’s actually helped increase the air quality in my flat. I was quick shocked at the amount of dust and dirt it removed from my carpets. There also now seems to be a lot less dust on the surfaces of my furniture too. Even though the vacuum is round it manages to clean edges very well. The app is easy to use to control the vacuum and uses bluetooth to connect to the unit itself. It’s easy to empty the dust compartment and several of the parts can be removed for cleaning such as the brush and air filter. NB this model is app operated and does not come with a remote control. The instructions show pictures of a remote control which confused me at first. This model does not map the room automatically (the more expensive models do) but the various modes on the app means cleaning coverage is excellent. The charging station, where the eufy automatically parks itself, is pretty small and can be hidden under some furniture if needed. I would really recommend this unit if you want to say goodbye to traditional vacuum cleaners.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersDoes what my ADHD doesn't 🤣
Warning: this review is mostly for people with ADHD wondering if they will buy this thing and then ignore it for months and feel a faint pang of regret every time they look at their unvacuumed floor.

Look, when we first got this thing I was extremely doubtful – it (obviously) has no mapping and its sense of where it’s been and the choices it makes are slightly worse than I would expect of a concussed duckling (literally random), it picks up about half of the stuff it passes, it managed to miss an entire oak leaf after 30 minutes of wandering around, it claims to need a space equivalent to the entire area of the living room empty around its charging unit, it’s noisy enough that the baby is terrified of it and it played Wind The Bobbin Up with an entire reel of thread *and I still haven’t found the reel*.

However, I have set Robbie to turn on daily at 6am and this achieves four (well, five) things. First: my home looks as if I hoover it on a regular basis, so the baby isn’t picking up random crumbs from the carpet and eating them before I can check them. Second: because I know Robbie is turning on at 6am come hell or high water, I pick up everything off the floor in the evening and maybe half of it goes back where it should be, which is a full 100% improvement on previously (those of you with ADHD may know this as the Visitor Effect). Three: I can see a contrast between the space Robbie can reach and the space he can’t, which makes me think “Ooh I should get that corner bit” and sometimes I actually do. Four: the debris Robbie picks up is beautifully sorted into Fluff and Bits, meaning that if he does pick up some errant Lego, it can be very easily noticed and extracted, no need to sift through an entire massive barrel of ick and then need to redo the whole floor. Five, and I appreciate this is subjective and probably not the manufacturer’s intention: because of the need to lock Robbie in the living area so he doesn’t wake up the baby at 6am by rattling around in the hall, our living area is lovely and warm in the morning instead of getting the drafts from the front door.

Yes, he is called Robbie, the 5yo named and gendered it and her naming choices are (usually) sacred.

So, would I absolutely buy a more expensive one with a mapping system, two brushes and the ability to get back home without a guided tour? Yes. Is Robbie now the tidiest member of our family? Also yes.

Golden Review Award: 77 From Our UsersConvenient, easy to use, and quie
    * The RoboVac G30 is an upgrade to our first foray into robotic vacuums, the RoboVac 30C, and like it’s predecessor it gives a good cleaning performance, especially for something so small and unobtrusive. It’s pretty quiet, too.
    * The RoboVac docking station is much smaller than its competitors, and it fits under a set of cupboards in our dining room so the RoboVac G30 is completely out of sight when docked.
    * On our floor plan (seven rooms over 95 sq.m. / 1,017 sq.ft.) the RoboVac G30’s typical daily run lasts around 95 minutes, on a mixture of hard floor (85%) and carpet. Vacuum strength is excellent and it adjusts itself to floor type.
    * The RoboVac G30’s systemic navigation system is more logical and better suited to our extended bungalow’s large floor plan than the previous RoboVac 30C’s bump and turn navigation, and it’s far more satisfying to watch. It doesn’t come with the barrier strips the 30C came with, but it does know about stairs and avoids drops. Battery life of the RoboVac G30 is not quite as good as that of the 30C but unlike the 30C it remembers where it’s done so it heads home, recharges, and goes back for 5-10mins to finish off.
    * For our floor area the RoboVac G30’s dust box is a little small in that it needs emptying after each daily run. The micropore/paper exhaust filter system is very effective.
    * The Eufy app’s scheduling options are limited – I cannot see any way to launch the RoboVac G30 automatically more than once a day, but if desired this could be overcome readily with one or more Alexa timed routine(s), or at worst a manual start (either in app – no handheld remote control supplied – or by Alexa voice trigger).
    * Alexa integration is useful, and we’ve set that up and used it to trigger or abandon cleans.
    * didn’t see any mention of it in the ad blurb, but the RoboVac G30, like the 30C, has drop detection, so it can be taken upstairs and used to clean our bedrooms and landing without falling down the stairs.
*The RoboVac G30 copes well with all our rugs but one small rug with tassels. The tassels can catch on the wheels and if this happens the rug is dragged along for the ride. It handles all of our other rugs, even those fluffy ones in the bathroom, just fine.
    * Our cat didn’t know what to make of RoboVac at first, but he usually ignores it. Sometimes he follows it around as though keeping an eye on it. Either way I t’s quiet enough that it doesn’t scare him.
    * All in all, we love the convenience of the RoboVac G30 (or 30C). And it’s saving us time and money – we only have the manual vacuum out for the stairs now. Before this we’d have hoovered the entire house twice a week, so that’s a considerable saving in both time and electricity costs. According to our power meter plug it used less than 2.4kWh in October compared to probably 14-18kWh if we’d been hoovering manually. We were hesitant to try these things because they’re not cheap and we didn’t know if it would clean well but we can now say to anyone thinking of them, they’re terrific and we wouldn’t give ours up now.

Brilliant compared to not hoovering. Not as good as a human vacuming. We run Marvin 3 times a day and he cleans a lot of mess from our 3 kids. Which is great bur don’t expect a spotless job

Eufy G30 is an amazing vacuum
It’s so relaxing to switch on Eufy and let it do the work for you. I generally switch on Eufy downstairs after dinner and the day after I find the carpet and laminate super clean.
In the morning I let it clean the bedrooms upstairs and it really remove a lot of dust.

Quiet enough to not scare the cats(but they still don’t trust him)

Can’t believe the dust it picks up every day

Can still cope with deep rugs and a new thick carpet without getting stuck on it. Just need to make sure he has a clear path with no floor wires and that he can climb on the bottom shelf of the tv stand again(from a raised rug I might add so not his fault). But he did have a panic attack as he couldn’t get back down afterwards. No blocked off and he keeps the floors clear and tidy every day

Does a great job of vacuuming the house, you need to remove things that it might get tangled in such as wires but otherwise it just gets on with the job and then parks itself in the recharging base ready for the next clean
Very pleased with it and would recommend to anyone who has better things to donwithbtheirbtome than vacuum cleaning

    Game change
I treated myself to one of these with my Christmas bonus, having had my eye on one for a while, this one seemed to offer the best range of options and functionality for the price, and was on offer at the time.

As other have mentioned, the amount it picks up is amazing, it filled it’s bin the first couple of outings as it fits under things that don’t often get hoovered under, the bed, sideboard, sofa etc.

The unit doesn’t have learning, but has some degrees of smarts about it as it maps where’s it’s been on each outing, it’s far from perfect, but it manages to navigate my flat without issue.

Mine’s scheduled to run twice a week whilst I’m at work, and my proper hoover has been out maybe once since Christmas

Consumables like the brushes and filters seem to be holding up well too.

Whilst it has Alexa, it’s a bit limited, especially when the app is easier to use and offers more functionality.

My little Eufy robovac lives upstairs and cleans every day. Under beds, across the bathroom floor – he’s the perfect size. He’s never plunged down the stairs and is so quiet even the cats don’t mind him. I had no idea the cleaning would be so good. Great purchase. I may get another for downstairs one day.

Does what it says on the ti
Hi overall it’s a useful addition to trying to keep the home clean and tidy.

Positives: easy to empty takes 30 seconds a day.
    Cleans about 70m2 without difficulty.
Automatically goes and charges when the battery goes flat then returns to where it left off to start again.
NO MORE WANDERING AROUND THE HOUSE ON MY DAY OFF!!!
House is cleaner than it’s previously been, works well on hard and carpeted floors.
App is easy to use and just works!

Negatives: Had some disasters eg knocking over pot plants, twisting up shoe laces, being woken up in the night when it’s moving around the house.

Just buy it and stop faffing around.
I’m thinking about getting a second one to use upstairs!

Not used the Hoover since buying this!
Like others I was skeptical as to how good this would be. I needn’t had worried – even the wife was won round!

We purchased this Hoover for our kitchen dining area which is often found with crumbs under tables and near skirting boards as the kids insist on making such a messit’s a laminate floor and we keep the door shut so the Hoover doesn’t roam elsewhere.

Since buying this device we’ve literally not needed to Hoover this room since.

Not sure I’d recommend it over an upright vacuum for carpeted areas but on hard floors it’s great!

Navigation is really impressive watching it roam around. I find it quite captivating and often find myself staring at it for longer than I intended to!

When emptying the tray it always amazes me a) how much it’s sucked up and b) how well it compacts it

You do need to make sure the floor area is relatively free from stuff that it might eat – shoe laces or cables for example, but if you forget to put things away that it can’t suck up, it’ll just not clean as well – still better than nothing!

Personally we have ours programmed for 8pm each evening so we can check the cats haven’t left anything for it to spread around – we nearly fell foul last night but luckily the Hoover had finished before the darn animal made a mess!

It’s quiet enough not to wake our daughter asleep in the room above too. On the higher suction setting which we don’t use btw, it is of course a bit louder.

Only other point to mention is that the charging dock does need a fairly good amount of space either side of itself so the robot can find its way home. Not as much as the instructions suggest but if there’s things either side of it, it seems to get confused for a bit longer. Doesn’t seem to matter about things being above the charge dock though. We have ours under a shoe rack so it doesn’t take up extra floor space and keeps it fairly discretely hidden.

Overall a great buy and would highly recommend!

“Kevin” is a clever little fella, very obedient too. Tell him to go clean the flat at 3pm and off he trundles to find all the crumbs you dropped from that packet of biscuits you just ate, no word of complaint about not using a plate, he just goes and gets all the muck from under the sofa like it’s his life’s mission! When he gets tired of his travels he heads home for a little snooze so he’s ready for the next mission!
He doesn’t complain when you get up late or come home drunk and drop stuff all over the floor so as far as I’m concerned it’s Kevin 1, wife 0.

    A total game change
This is my first Robovac, bought on a bit of a whim as there was a discount voucher, although I have always fancied getting one but was worried that it would be a bit of an expensive fad.

Setup was a tad tricky getting it connected to the wifi but READ the instructions and all will be good if you follow them. She will operate without the app but it is useful being able to see where she has cleaned.

Roberta cleans in straight lines, up & down then across and back and works perfectly in open spaces. If the are a lot of obstacles she does get confused but gets there in the end. I love the way that she gets into corners with the twirlly brush and right up against the edges. My floors are noticeably cleaner as I have all hard floors with the inevitable dust bunnies. She is an expert at finding odd fragments of broken glass even though I had thought that I had hoovered thoroughly. The only area that I have to do manually is the stairs now – which Roberta has looked down and then backed away, clever girl!

Starting cleaning from the charging base is a doddle. Press start on the app and away she goes, returning to the charge base when she has finished or if the battery is getting low. I have the charger hidden under a cupboard but have had no issue in getting Roberta to find her way home. If you want to clean an area away from the charger I have found than switching her off by the side switch then moving her to the new room then starting her clean means that she will finish up where she started. I even got her to clean under our bed which is too low for her to reach. I just lifted the bed and left her there for a couple of runs. The map is quite useful as you can tell where she has been and move furniture around so she can do the missed spots.

I am sure that she is a time saver unless you spend too much time watching her doing her stuff as you are bound to do when you first start! The cat isn’t impressed and usually legs it and my 18 month old grand daughter is terrified of it!

My first robovacuum and he is amazing - highly recommended
I was skeptical about getting a robovac, but I was struggling to find time to hoover the house, and it was noticeable. I did a lot of research and knew I needed at least 2000 in suction power. Eufy is a reliable brand. Since Bob (G30) arrived he has been used daily, and the amount of dust his little chamber picked up the first few days was shocking. I would empty him between each room and the compartment was crammed. I ran him 3 times through each room and he would still be full every time. The difference to our house is noticeable, and it is having a calming effect on all of us. Our carpets always look spotless now, something I never thought I would say. We have also put unnecessary clutter away to give Bob easier access. My only regret is that I didn’t go for the x8, which would have double the suction power and which you can programme properly. But on the whole Bob meets our needs. I put his suction power on max, and get on with my work, moving him room to room manually so he doesn’t get confused. He has made a world of difference to our family. His only failing is that he cannot hoover corners, apart from that he really does get all the dirt.

Word of note – I struggled to connect Bob to our wifi in order to use the app as a remote and I had to contact EUFY support. They responded immediately and said the first time I connected my phone had to be on airplane mode with just the wifi connected. This worked immediately. I had run him manually for a few days, but once I had the app up and running I could increase his suction power from standard to max, which made his cleaning even better. I run him on max all the time now.

Love it! Best robot cleaner in this price category...
The family love the little device and the little ones are even willing to clear the floor for it. (Definitely a help!) We tried this and the Roomba 692040. This has a few advantages:
    – It builds a map on each run and covers each spot usually twice, meaning that there’s a good even clean
    – This smartness means that it leaves lovely straight lines (like lawn mower with a roller) on the clear carpet
    – It’s easy to use and works well with Alexa / Google home

The only downside is the suction isn’t as powerful as the Roomba 692040 or other more expensive models.

The Roomba 69204 has slightly better suction/cleaning (using both a rubber roller and a brush). We thought we’d like that more, but it doesn’t create a maps and so randomly moves around. This often left some areas overly clear and some uncleaned. (The Roomba seemingly has zero brains).

We’re genuinely happy with the little vacuum!

Not perfect but a helpful gadget for the busy family
This was a Christmas present to ourselves. Our house is over 3 levels and a mix of carpet and laminate. We really only wanted a vacuum without the mop function. We wanted to keep things simple. So after 2 weeks of using this almost daily, we think it’s a great addition to our busy lives. I use it on Boost IQ and sometimes Max setting. There’s always lots of dust and dirt in the tray when it’s done. It’s been really reliable so far but you do need to clean the hair off the brush and empty the container every couple of days. So here’s what’s good and not so good about it.

    Thumbs up:
Sheer convenience: We don’t set an auto schedule in case it gets stuck while we’re away from the house. Instead, we use it when we’re home. We get the room ready by making sure the floors are clear, then we start it up, close the door and let it do it’s job. This on it’s own is a game changer for us! It happily vacuums away until you stop it or it runs low on batteries.

It’s smart-enough: Hard to know how smart it is compared to all the ‘intelligent’ ones costing hundreds more. But I reckon it’s smart enough. It doesn’t fall down stairs. It seems to clean the whole floor space well, it rarely gets stuck and it knows how to get back to it’s charging station. That’s pretty good in my books.

Battery is good: It can clean multiple rooms before it decides to go back to the charging station. Certainly no complaints so far.

Extra stuff: It comes with an additional filter so you have one to use while ones drying after a rinse. It also comes with a spare spinning brush.

App: Easy enough to install and use. Just follow-instructions. You can control most things on the app and there’s a nifty map of where the fella has been and even a locate button in case it gets stuck somewhere (not needed to use it yet)

    Thumbs down:
Suction power: I would deem this as just adequate. It’s certainly not going to replace your main hoover. It’s good at picking up loose dirt but not great at more stuck on stuff, like fluff from a sock on a carpet for example.

Spinning brush: It can sometimes get tangled up with hair . Maybe there are too much many women in my house!!

App: I really can’t figure out how to switch off certain notifications. It’ll send a notification when it’s being picked up, when wheels are suspended, when it needs a clean etc etc. All good but quite annoying when I’m at work and the wife is using it at home.

    Conclusion:
We’re happy with this purchase. It really helps a busy household. It’s been reliable and very easy to use. It’s not perfect but heck, neither am I!!!

Without sounding over the top. THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!
I hardly ever write reviews, but needed to explain……

I have two children, a cat and a golden Labrador. I work full-time and as you can imagine hoovering daily is a very hard ask. Unfortunately, because of the dog shedding non stop (Lab owners will know) it leave the house FULL of dog hair if I leave hoovering more than a day! This ends up on clothes and just gives me the sense constantly that my house is unclean (Which it isn’t).

I was on the fence about how good of a clean this Eufy robovac would be, but MY GOD, its the single best thing I have bought in the last 20 years!!!!!! I swear it does a better job than me!

No longer do I have dog hair everywhere, it just comes off its base, cleans my floor daily (its quite quiet too) and puts itself back on its charging base. I empty the bin (which is very easy) and we are good to go again!

This is the future, TODAY!!! I will 100% be buying robotic hoovers going forward and will prob get a more expensive one that mops next time aswell.

    Don’t hesitate, just buy it!!!

    Good product, good after-sales suppo
I have been using my G30 for 9 months and continue to be impressed (or should that be horrified?!) at how much dust it collects from already clean-looking floors. It’s not the smartest when it comes to navigation but does a good enough job and I have learned its weak spots so know how to place things to prevent it getting stuck.

I have also learned how critical it is to keep the filter clean as pick-up drops sharply if this is allowed to get clogged.

Recently, it started making a loud clicking noise which using Eufy’s online FAQ I tracked to the side brush drive. I reported this on a Friday morning using Eufy online chat. Following some clarification and a bit of fault-finding the problem was quickly acknowledged by the friendly and helpful agent and I received a replacement on Sunday evening which was an impressively quick turnaround.

Assuming the fault does not recur I’m very happy with my purchase and with Eufy support.

Why isn’t this part of HomeKit when Eufy is doing so well with that stuff in the home security area? It’s a belter of a machine (also a bit of an idiot when it comes to walls and cables but I’ll forgive for things that are my choice I guess). If you’re happy to use it with the standalone app or whatever systems it works with then it’s the best on the market for the price but please add it to HomeKi

Where has this been all of my life it’s amazing. Love having the house clean everyday, it’s efficient and never had any problems getting stuck or finding his way home. We have named him Rob and Alexa controls him perfectly.
The biggest drawback is our cathe is utterly obsessed with Rob so much so he follows him everywhere and when Rob is on charge sleeping the cat then thinks he needs to wake him up to play and then all you hear is “charging” constantly through the night as he gets knocked away from his charge point. The fixRob now has a water squeeze bottle perched on top and the cat is petrified of him lol

Suction is ok on medium carpets but sometimes has to go round twice. It’s pretty good on our hard floor hallway. It gets caught on the corner of my rug though which isn’t really thick which is a little annoying. It’s ok though does the middle first then goes round the edges. It does finish a room pretty quick. It’s Not like my old neato which was much better, however, that was double the price. I’m happy with it for the Black Friday price though. Didn’t realise I needed this in my life!
Amazed how clean this makes everywhere look! It takes itself home if it needs charging. Maps what items in your house are likely to move or not & maps a route. It cleans, then goes around again to clean the edges. Really easy to empty. Comes with a cleaning tool (use this if you need to get the filter out for cleaning). You’ll need to empty it & clean out the roller every day (really easy). Then just send it home! Easy to use on echo devices – just tell alexa what to do. (You will have to ‘name’ your vacuum). You can set it up to start at specific times of day & just leave it to work! It’ll tell you if it gets stuck or is lifted up etc (has inbuilt speaker, but also sends notifications to your smartphone). It’ll need around 40/50 centimetres of space for docking, but ours goes behind the sofa close to the corner/plug. If you set it upstairs, be aware that although it can sense the top step, it advises you to put a barrier across. In a bungalow, you’re fine! It will go over rugs ok. I really didn’t know how much I needed this in my life! I always said ‘don’t get me something for the house at Christmas’. How wrong was I? Best. Thing. Ever!

    An amazing little robovac
Straight out of the box and set up in 5mins. Super easy to use and very impressive for the price. It maps the room/house in one direction and then works it’s way back.
It remembers when the charging station is, it has not yet got stuck, select the boost-iq mode for different floor types and it changes suction automatically. Works best on my laminate flooring, but still does wonders on both out short pile carpets and deep pile. It’s powerful enough to move my boys toys out of the way but it slows down just before coming into contact with more solid objects and that’s a great feature.
If you want to keep it confined to one room or several then just close the doors, the boundary tape doesn’t work with this model.
But for the price you’d struggle to find a better robovac, it’s an improvement on my older roomba. It will do my entire bungalow in 55-60 minutes, that’s 3 bedrooms, 2 receptions, a lounge and a very generous hallway. I don’t let it in the kitchen or bathroom/toilets in case there’s water on the floor.

    Great suctio
This robot vacuum is fantastic. I don’t normally write reviews, but after reading a couple of the negative reviews on here I changed my mind as they are completely inaccurate!
This vacuum is great, it has great suction power, smart navigation and a useful map to check where it has cleaned and any areas it missed.
Smart navigation just means that it tries to keep in straight consecutive lines and avoids going over the same area twice. It doesn’t save layouts of rooms between sessions as you wouldn’t want it to! The navigation is smart enough to evaluate obstacles by light bumping into them and following an intelligent route around them. If it gets trapped somewhere it’s normally (in my experience) because it nudged a door closed.
You need to ensure there will be enough space for the robot to get in to tight areas, but what do you expect?
I’m seriously considering a 2nd one for upstairs!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSpot on.
I bought this Eufy as a replacement for my beloved Robovac 11 (named, imaginatively as “Eufy”). I’d stuck some googly eyes on him and he must have been seven or eight years old when he started failing to return home. He then started failing to do anything. Just sitting there and bleeping. I was bereft. I’d got quite attached to him as he ran around and kept the place nice and clean. I had a go at fixing him. I took him apart right down to his motors, cleaned those and removed seven years or so of dust. This didn’t do much so I had to admit defeat.

I gave Eufy the send-off he deserved after all those years of tireless, loyal, hard work. I stripped him down, removed his battery and recycled his parts. It’s what he would have wanted *sniff*.

It was time to replace my beloved Eufy, so with a heavy heart and a tear in either eye, I chose this one with the clever app and mapping.

The new Robovac turned up in its new box and to be honest I wasn’t expecting to get on with it. There’s no remote control, the old Eufy’s remote doesn’t work with it. It only has one spinny front brush thing. And I don’t have any googly eyes to stick on.

Anyway, I set it off and was much surprised to hear it speak to me- and in a female voice, so now my robot vac is female. I couldn’t think of an imaginative name, so New Eufy became Newfy, as my beloved Eufy had gone to the recycler in the sky. It would be an insult to both of them to have the same name.

Newfy, it turns out, is actually very good at her job. She cleans on the timer and takes half the time that Eufy used to take. She doesn’t simply bang around the place until her battery is low and then limps home. She follows a route. She makes a map as she goes. She goes up and down in a logical pattern. She knows where she’s cleaned and where needs to be cleaned. She knows where her home is and when she’s finished, she tells me in a loud and proud voice that cleaning is completed and she’s going home. Off she goes, following a direct route to her base station, not bumping and banging around for another fifteen minutes like the old one did. She cleans well, too. My carpet is spotless.

My only criticism is the remote or lack of it. The app has remote controls built in, but they’re hidden away in the settings.

I kinda miss the character of the old Eufy Robovac 11. He was dumb, and bumped about. He was covered in scratches and bumps from where he’d knocked himself on stuff, but I simply can’t fault the efficiency of the newer, smarter Newfy. She gets the job done in half (or a quarter if we add on the bumping around to find the base station) the time and she does it much quieter than Eufy did. She doesn’t wake me up like Eufy used to as their cleaning times are set for early morning.

    Awesome. Would definitely buy another.

I called this little bug as it looks like it as it sweeps up. Get so much stuff out of the carpet can’t believe it it even after the cleaner has been with the regular hoover. The few problems connecting to Wi-Fi but eventually got it working. Best not to have it run when you are recording something on the telly as it can interfere. The app works very well and you can schedule your cleans. Very satisfying to see it go home on its own.

    A clever, powerful little device
There isn’t anything not to like about this product. It’s easy to setup and it does its thing really well. I have two pets and this clever little device picks up everything and it’s particularly helpful with pets coming in and out of the house all day. It picks up grit that blows in, pet hair, etc. It’s great on hard and carpeted floors. Easy to take upstairs as it is light. It cleverly navigates around obstacles and deals with rugs of different textures and pile. The brush head flicks dirt out of crevices, so it does work through corners. Makes life so much easier, taking the hassle out of hoovering daily. Of course, for a deeper clean getting to more awkward spots, only the big vacuum will do, but the G30 makes this a less frequent job. The G30 is worth the money.

Does exactly what I want it to do, I love it.
Have it set up for 9.30 every evening to run through the hall, kitchen and dining room where we have high gloss black tiles. Picks up the white dog hairs brilliantly. Carry it into other areas as and when we need it. It is what it is though. It can’t think for itself, move cables, furniture or bags on the floor and it can’t miraculously morph to a square tool that will get into corners. So you shouldn’t expect it to answer all your hoovering problems. But I love it. Easy to set up and use, quiet enough not to scare the neurotic dog or cat and that daily whip round just makes my floors and home so much more appealing.

    Good customer suppo
I loved my eufy G30 until it stopped working – twice. The first time it was because of the sharp sunlight across the floor that the vacuum sees as a ‘cliff edge’. Apparently this is an issue with quite a lot of robot vacuums. This was resolved by sticking tape over the ‘cliff sensors’. It worked perfectly then for several months but now it is not sucking properly. The reason I am writing this review is that I am really impressed with the customer support. Both times I have had to contact Eufy, they have been quickly responsive and, significantly, the email and phone numbers for support are actually on the machine itself so no searching for who/where to contact. As my machine is still under warranty I am hopeful of a good outcome. I have already been able to identify exactly where the problem is through an automatic but helpful email response I received a couple of minutes after sending my email asking for support (on a saturday afternoon). I will update this reveiw when/if the problem is resolved but thought it worth mentioning this positive feature. The only minor niggle I have (apart from it not working at the moment!) is that there is no remote control, only an app. You can control the machine directly but, as ours is stored under a bench, if the Wi-Fi isn’t working I have to crawl under to get it going. Update: Eufy have offered to replace the vacuum. I am delighted and third confirms the excellent service they offer. All machines can go wrong and that’s when you discover the reality of customer service!

Skynet has taken over domestic cleaning
Well, this was a bit of an experiment, to be honest. I was a bit sceptical, but having just replaced 1200+ square feet of bungalow flooring with laminate, the combination of pet hair from three cats, building muck (work on the house renovation continues) and dust bunnies the size if real rabbits was getting a bit of a pain.

The cats are a bit wary of it, but I set it off from the app every other day or so, and it seems to do a sterling job. After two runs, the app decided it had lost the network connection to the machine, but pushing the start button on the vac made it all sort its life out. Three runs and it needed emptying. Shame there doesn’t seem to be a way for it to warn you it is full, but other than that, it seems a grand piece of kit.

Haven't had to vacuum in the "standard way" since buying this!
I have had this for just over a month now, and haven’t had to get the old Dyson out to “top up clean” at all.

The scheduling is great, and the fact that this will run when I am working, return home and just be done, is great.

The navigation mapping can sometimes be a tiny little bit off when it switches from 1 wi-fi extender to another, but it still cleans everywhere.
I went away on holiday for a week, and left it do its thing while I was away, could see from the app that it had cleaned and when I returned, the carpet was immaculate.

I can see that there are now models on the market with more power than this, and obviously more power means better cleaning, but for the money I paid for this, and the job that it has done, my wife and I are astounded.

When I clicked order on this, I changed my mind, after convincing myself that I had just wasted my hard earned, but Amazon said they “couldn’t cancel my order”… so I thought that it was meant to be, and let it arrive. We tried it, and now we won’t be going back.

Although nestled nicely downstairs, we grab her (We’ve called her Rhona) take her upstairs switch her on, and leave her to it. The first few times, the stairs worried me… but she stopped DEAD (and I mean DEAD) at the tope of the stairs, spun round, and continued on her merry way. we now just let her get on with it.

Only downside, ad this is very picky, is that the lip between our kitchen and hall way is right on the edge of her capability and goes from tile to carpet, and over a metal step… the wheels struggle with traction on this, but I knew when purchasing that the kitchen might be a (little) step to far.

It does all of downstairs on 1 charge, so no complaints on that, apart from the fact I have to let her charge fully before taking her upstairs.

All in all, this robot vacuum is a great entry level, and is definitely one that would be a good entry level for anyone with both hard flooring and carpet. I would VERY much recommend you get yourself a Rhona too!
