Excellent little indoor camera
I purchased this for peace of mind to check in on my dog, then tried it to keep an eye on my car from inside windowsill, it works perfectly in daytime, but unfortunately it can’t keep an eye on your car during night time using it indoors, due to the reflection of the infrared lights bouncing off the glass which is unfortunate as I just wanted a discreet indoor one and don’t want to purchase one to be mounted outside, so I will keep hunting for an indoor one that works, would really like it to be a Eufy as this one was so easy to set up and you can save footage to your phone or share to your existing icloud files if needed, so no need for any monthly subscription like others I researched. Was so good that I purchased another one the following day. Anker do you do an internal one for night use from indoors that can pick up outside without it bouncing off of the glass? Thanks in advance

The only draw back is the need to connect it to the mains electric supply, limits where it can be mounted/positioned. Otherwise excellent!!

I added this camera to my existing Eufy security system and I placed it in my shed, the picture quality and motion detection is excellent. A worthy addition for well under 30.

I received this in good order along with great packaging and straight from the get-go it was working perfectly. It does exactly what it says on the tin.
I had something similar from another manufacturer which repeatedly dropped out from the wifi and I had to reset., But not with this one.
With the use of the mobile app I can control the camera and receive alerts wherever I am.

Worth every penny
Placed inside kitchen area facing patio doors to garden ! Three weeks later attempted break in !! Lucky low life’s saw camera and didn’t bother , good clear pics of offenders . Worth every penny and a very good price .
Good camera, playback can be temperamental
Night vision is good but sometimes the video flickers in night mode. Playback can also be glitchy, it’s great that you can put a memory card in and continuously record but sometimes it doesn’t recognise the memory card. Strange. Also, when you talk through the camera it’s like a walkie talkie. So if I’m talking through the app, I have to stop pressing the talk button in order to hear what the person is saying. However, I’d give this camera a 8.5/10 because there is very little I can fault about it.
Best Homekit Camera
Review for homekit users:
-Add camera to homekit via Eufy app. There is no qr code.
-Restrict access to camera to homekit only via any homekit router. This disables eufy app access and maintains highest security.
-Homekit secure video works very well. As with all brands of camera currently, may require fresh home setup / fully resetting and updating apple tv’s and homepods for recording to work.
2 way comms, 2k resolution only available on eufy app.
IR on/off, led on/off must be set in eufy app.
Reliable high quality day and night footage with excellent homekit software monitoring and recording. Best option.
Fantastic produc
Amazing camera – great quality. Small and discreet. This camera is stationary tho and if you want one that you can tilt and move you need to order a different Eufy one which I have as well in a different room. I use the camera to monitor my puppy and you can speak to the puppy through it. Great product!
Decent Cameras
I’m impressed with the technology. Cameras were easy to set up. However my main grumble it with the physical installation. Would have thought Eufy (aka ANKER) would have thought about this a little more. There’s very little flexibility in the manner in which cameras can be positioned. No thought given to people who might want to position cameras discreetly. The camera only tilts on one axis on the mount – so you’re essentially forced to place the screws to fix the mount to a wall/ceiling in one configuration. But this won’t work for everyone – far better to have fours screw holes, or better yet just have a magnetic attachment to this mounting plate (like several competitors) and you than have total flexibility in how to orientate the camera to suit your needs. In addition the 6ft power cord (micro USB) is useless. How many people are going to be position their camera within 6ft for a socket? would have been for more useful to have a 10ft power cord supplied as standard. The way the USB cord sticks out of the plug and the back of the camera is also very sloppy engineering design and let the product down.

A budget HomeKit Camera with software and performance to back it up
I selected this product after trawling through hours of reviews. I was looking for a budget friendly camera with support into the Apple HomeKit ecosystem. I am really happy with my purchase.
The setup was a doddle, the camera is quick and responsive. The recording is great and fast. Night vision and sound come included with this camera.
It is easy to automate based on this camera through triggers such as motion zones, face detection from Apple photos etc.
Top Tip: The Eufy app does try to get you to sign up to their cloud service, but if you are an apple iCloud user, you can link this camera to iCloud storage with unlimited video recording (up to 5 cameras on the 2tb tier). A google of ‘HomeKit Secure Video’ will give you all the details you need to know.
My only reservation is that an SD card is needed for the camera to function if you do not subscribe to Eufy’s cloud service.
Overall a great camera at a fantastic price.
Really good product, great for peace of mind.
Worked perfectly, and works well with apple home. My only issue is that the picture was a little blurred sometimes but, to be honest, it was still way better than you would expect at this price point!
This item also works by connecting to standard Wi-Fi and an app on your phone, so doesn’t require additional hubs.

Very good for the price
No complaints given the price although on reflection would probably have spent a bit more and got one that could rotate (can only zoom on this one and not that well). Also regularly hard to access thought the app – takes a long time to find a picture but again, for the price, not bad.

Looking out the window
Set it up to monitor my car on a city street after several vandalism incidents. I get a good picture through the window with the streetlights – I’ve set it to daytime mode only, and it works very well.
a quality produc
It was relatively easy to set up and add other users. Night vision is good as is motion detection. I added a 64 Gb memory card to record on a 24/7 basis which we can rview. Seems to be motion activated but works fine. Its an inexpensive camera but does the job well.
Absolutely fantastic camera for the money
We bought this camera as we had the Eufy doorbell and we’d been really impressed with that. At this price, the camera has performed fantastically.
It was far better than I was expecting. For now we’re using the cloud recording trial but I’ll grab a memory card I think soon enough.
We bought it specifically to mount inside our puppy’s bedroom (cage). We switched off motion detection but switched on the sound detection. This allows us to hear him if he cries in the night for the loo. Check out the images – they’re fantastic.
I’m considering buying a couple more. One for the porch and another just to have as a camera to put up when I need it for any reason. It’s honestly amazing!!

my first wifi camera, and not disappointed, it does the job needed for a nighttime pet cam or when we drop out for an hour without him. night vision is great, and it has sensitivity settings, set at the highest it will notify you if the dust particle goes past. getting another for the lounge.

Works brilliantly with HomeKit secure video
Camera is amazing for 37. I went with this particularly because it supports apples HomeKit secure video service. You do have to set the camera up through the eufy app first but once all setup is done you can then disable the camera on the eufy app and it continues to work through HomeKit and not eufy servers. Will definitely be buying a couple more of these and any other camera/video doorbells they do which support HomeKit secure video.
As a side note you do need a paid Apple sub for iCloud and soon they are removing the 5 camera limit.
Perfect Indoor Camera!
Very clear picture, motion and sound detection works perfectly. Settings are really good and you can get the camera set up exactly how you want. We use ours as a baby monitor/alert and it does what we need. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent produc
The Eufy Security 2K indoor cam is an excellent product, particularly when paired with the Eufy Security App. Picture quality, night vision and motion detection are all excellent. The app has very many settings, adjustable for each camera individually, which seem to cover every possible eventuality. The built in help files are also useful to assist you adjust the settings suitable for each camera. Overall an excellent product at a reasonable price.

Great little camerathat I use for keeping an eye on my dogs whilst in out. Had an issue where the puppy jumped up and knocked it off and the stand broke but after an email was replaced under warrenty/good will. Very please and would definitely use/buy again.
Good security cam
Easy to set up and does the job quite well. The picture quality is brilliant and you can set it up using different levels of sensitivity.
Value for money
Forget the rest, this system out performs practically everything else on the market, the set up was satisfyingly simple and the clarity of picture is amazing, very miniscule delay on the audible playback speaker, but, for the price that doesn’t interfere with the overall extras, solid little cameras and over the moon with our purchase ( we bought another one for the house!)
Fantastic-Good value for money!
Very pleased with the 2K indoor security camera which I found to be of good quality and value for money. Fairly easy to set up. Suggest not to rush this stage and leave the finer tunning and settings for later after seeing what the basic set up is capable of. Very good choice of options for the reviewing the recorded clips. Seem to have sorted out the issue of sesitivity and false alarms with options to adjust. Only downside is to rely on Eufy server not going down to review recorded clips.

Early days but I’m very impressed with this camera for the price. We just wanted something to ‘spy’ om our puppy when we are not there so we know he’s not distressed or destroying anything. have experience a small time lag occasionally but this camera is perfect for our needs
Used as Nanny Cam!
I found this camera to have good picture quality, the motion sensor is good and the night vision good. We have used this camera at my Mum’s who has dementia and this set up works really well.

Camera seems to be perfect. Only downside is lack of 20 second when you views your live camera. I used to see my birds at home.

Good value when on offe
Simple to set up and use, good image quality and sound detection very good. Night image also very good. I only wish it could connect and record to my Eufy Homebase 2 that I already have, but I already knew it wouldn’t before purchase so not a problem. I bought it at an offer price and even though I like it I wouldn’t pay full price as there are similar quality cameras cheaper that obviously don’t connect to Eufy Homebase. I think Eufy missed a trick by not making this camera different to the competition by allowing it to use their Homebase but if you like using cloud base services this is probably irrelevant.
Brilliant Camera
Amazing quality and the UI is very easy to use. The cloud storage only costs about 2 a month. The only issue I have is the motion detection is overly sensitive, you can change the motion detection sensitivity but still feels overly sensitive. But better that way round than the other.
Perfect little security camera
Can’t really fault this product. I have this pointing directly through a window onto the cars on my driveway and picture quality is excellent, no issues with reflections on the lense. I use the camera in 24hr continuous recording mode and have the night vision turned off and picture is still great when it’s dark outside with a little light from the street lights.
Managed to grab it while it was on sale so for 30 I cannot fault it at all

Really really good. We got this after our car was damaged. The picture quality is great, it’s easy to check. The motion sensor is really sensitive to we get a lot of notifications but they can be turned off. The only thing I’d point out is if your putting them looking out a window turn off night vision as all you can see is reflections. I think this is an amazing camera and I’m going to be getting more soon.

I found setting up the camera and the App very easy. It works well and easy to monitor via the App on your mobile phone. I think we will get another couple of these when they go back on special offer.
Better than expected
This is a great camera that I use to monitor my house while I’m out. The night vision is the most impressive thing for me. The picture quality is amazing and I can adjust the motion detection area works perfectly. There are lots of features with this camera I have yet to find one to sound a beep to deter people when human motion is detected. Great app though and I will be adding to the system.
Great security camera for the price
Simple to set up and giving a surprisingly clear and panoramic field of vision, this is a great piece of kit. With a straightforward, intuitive app this camera is that rare thing, a well priced, quality bit of tech that exceeds expectations.
For the price point these cameras are really great value for money
Really impressed with this product so l purchased another one to. Brought to replace two vstarcam cctvs and the difference is marked. The eufy cams were so much easier to set up and picture quality for the price is superb.
Despite being indoor cams these also work adequately facing out of a window to monitor outside. Like others have advised as long as the settings are adjusted i.e. turn off night vision and led status light and your good to go.
Motion detection and notifications are working adequately but did have to tinker with the motion detection zones and sensitivity settings to get that sweet spot. In fact the motion detection aspect was one of the main reasons for swapping my vstarcams for these… and l’m not disappointed. Great that there is the option to use an sd card rather than being limited to a subscription based cloud service.
