Brilliant bit of kit. Easy to set up and install. Great quality images and does it all so easily. Motion detection, remote access via app and benefits for us, with two young puppies, has been immeasurable. Will be getting more for other areas of the home. Brilliant!
Excellent Camera!!
I tried the Logitech, Blink and Ring camera’s before finding this one and I can confirm this one beats them hands down. I required a camera which needs to be able to record from behind a window and this does the job perfectly. All the other camera’s tried had issues with the ability to do this task. To add an extra benefit, you can also chose from 3 different storage mediums to record footage (an SD card, NAS or cloud) so you are not restricted in paying additional charges or subscriptions.

Great for the price picture amazing
Great camera and easy to set up. Only problem is that I’m struggling to work the AI. But that as side, I’m sure it’s easy if you’re a bit more tech savvy. Night vision is amazing and I was surprised at the clarity of the image for such a cheap camera. I do believe that they link in to the Homebase now. Which I plan to purchase soon.

A must if you want a camera
We bought this as a security camera inside and to be able to watch our pet when we are out. Very good quality camera, we have paid for subscription to cloud but it costs nothing and I would highly recommend! I was really impressed with the night vision and I’m surprised at any negative reviews!
No Homebase2 connectivity, why ?
The eufy indoor cameras work well with the eufy security phone app but do not have the option to store video clips to the eufy Homebase2 unit supplied with the external wifi cameras.
It’s either internal SD card or Cloud storage only.
I’m not sure why this feature has been omitted. I now have 6 eufy cameras ( 3 external 3 internal ) but I’m reluctant to spend more money on eufy products in case I find more artificial restrictions have been applied.
It’s possible to send “detected” video clips to alternative storage using the rtsp protocol, but eufy do not appear to sell a rtsp server unit.
Some NAS units have the ability to save video clips using this method but tend to be limited to 2 cameras and are probably underpowered ( and expensive ) for the task.
Easy home security
I am currently renovating a property and as I am not there all the time just adding a camera gives piece of mind that no-one has tried to get into the property. It was easy to set up and get started. Will be buying a second camera to add to this. N.B if you use the micro SD card to store images on have a look at Eufy White Listed tested cards before purchase.

For the price I am genuinely shocked at how amazing the quality of this camera is! Comparing it with the nearly 100 nest stick cam, this in my opinion outclasses it hugely! Stay clear of the other “budget own brand” cameras and just stick with this. Anker/Eufy have made some amazing products recently and this is no exceptio
Ideal for watching over puppies
Bought this to keep an eye on our puppy. Spent the first night barking at the blue light on the front but now is used to the camera. Good night vision and microphone is clear to give messages etc.
Almost perfec
Night vision relies on bright infrared lights to work. If used in a window these reflect back and obscure the image completely. Previous night vision cameras I’ve owned haven’t experienced this issue.

Great piece of kit for the money . It ok at everything not great but comon. Good night vision depends where you put it so infrared doesn’t bounce of other objects etc. Daytime quality good .the crying mode thing is ok can be a bit annoying at picking up other sounds depends ( baby music stuff with high pitch sound) will pick up . You can rely partially on it as a baby monitor, you can only rely on yourself 100% .
Really good value and works very well with it's own app
Sadly not all the features are available in Apple Homekit, but it will work in Homekit if you want with basic function. This is a steal for around 30 though, highly recommended. The cloud plan is decent value as well, and good peace of mind in case a thief stole the camera and memory card with it!
The one to get!
Best price/quality cam on the market. One count worth mentioning is that the when it records due to motion detection, it doesn’t record for long. However, you can override this by recording to the phone’s gallery but it’s a bit long-winded. Yet, stunning little device!

Great little lightweight camera. Eufy seem to have put a lot of thought into this. Local micro sd storage and the price makes it accessible to most. I know they already have outdoor wirefree cameras but If they made this lightweight camera waterproof and battery operated I think they would sell thousands. Look out Wyze!
Quality security at a low price
Only dislike , a indoor camera to look outside through a window or door , it sees the reflection back into room once dark. The ” night vision ” needs the led lights on built into camera and they reflect off glass. So turned off and use natural outside light once it’s dark. If pitch black with you see nothing.
Plus is I bought 3 . Alexa compatible and PIP on tv. As well as phone notifications on any motion detected. Cheap home security. Quality recording. HD pictures and videos. Various settings for humans to pets . Object movement.

Took a gamble and ordered this based on a few questions and answers where it stated it could be used looking out of a window as our neighbour recently had his car stolen and I wanted something setup quick just to keep an eye on mine and alert me quickly.
Its not the intended purpose of this indoor camera as its designed I guess to keep an eye on the inside of the house , but it works brilliantly as a security camera on a window sill looking out protecting my property.
There are a few things to keep in mind when using it like I do.
As you are using it to look out of a window , you cannot have the status LED turned on and you cannot use the night vision. If you have either of those on , the IR lights for the night vision and the status LED both reflect off the glass back into the camera and basically blind it.
So if you intend to use it to look out of a window like I do , you have to turn both of those features off.
Luckily in my situation , I have a street light close by outside and also have a security light that comes on when things are close to the house so there is always enough light for the camera to provide a good clear recording.
If you dont have enough light outside , then you may find it not a good solution and would have to go for an outdoor camera which is designed for the job.
All the other features work superbly when monitoring outside, activity zones , motion detection , person and pet detection, alerting and always on recording when I use it.
Even from my window sill to the car which is about 25 feet away from the house , I can draw an activity zone to include just outside my window , the garden , up the drive and the car.
I have it set to alert me for anything as its a quite close I live in , so anything from a cat upwards will pop up with a 30 sec recording of what happened day or night letting me know if it was a pet , a person or just general motion.
If I get fed up of being told about a cat , I can change the settings to just include people etc.
I am sure for its main use of keeping an eye on the contents of a house inside , going by how it performs for me keeping an eye outside , it will be a fantastic camera.
As a make shift window sill security camera to protect outside … well for me and the price I paid during the sale , I dont think I could have made a better purchase. In fact I would say this has been my most successful purchase off amazon and I am not even using it for its designed use. 5 stars

Excellent quality security camera
This is a great all round security camera.The camera picture quality is superb as is the night vision.I have a micro sd inserted for continuous recording.I have mine attached to the window facing out.The only minor issue is sometimes motion detection doesn’t always 100% pick up activity but as it is on continuous record it is not really an issue.I would recommend this camera as it more than does the job at a very reasonable price

I’m an IT network engineer and if there are any issues with a product I would be brutal, but I have had nothing but a good experience with my Eufy cameras.
I have Eufy doorbell, 360 indoor camera, Eufy cam 2, and now this. All work exactly as I would expect and have never let me down. Clear video and great battery life on those with battery. I had an issue with a Eufy cam 2 straight from the box and the support from Eufy was first class.

Great little camera, image quality is amazing for the price, easy to install. To record you will need to buy a.. scandisk SD card 10 64gb from eBay they are cheap to buy if you haven’t got any iCloud storage space left.

Great quality and feature camera
Great camera with good features. I use this with the homebase 2 battery camera system but this camera does not connect to the homebase and is standalone and uses an SDCard for local recording. I use this to monitor my front of house and with Night vision turned off the video quality is still good even thru the glass window. Motion sensors picks up people , pets, and other motions and you can select to be notified only when people are detected and to record all other motions so that you don’t continue to get notifications when car passes by. Very useful feature. Notification are also very fast. Overall very impressed with Eufy Security Cameras and they often updates the software and recently pushed out an update to enable HomeKit for iOS.

Best Cameras I’ve had!!
Have used Ring and Neos products in the past and bought this as I’ve kept seeing Eufy products been advertised so thought I would give them a try. Bought two indoor cameras and they are far superior than any other camera I have had. The picture quality is incredible both day and night vision. The main issue with the other cameras I’ve had is the load times…. Eufy cameras are instantaneous. 2 seconds max and you are viewing footage. I now have the spotlight camera and the pan and tilt and would recommend them all. Great products and great prices. And no rip off subscription fees. I think Ring should be getting worried to be honest as they are going to lose out to eufy. Will be replacing my Ring Video doorbell for a eufy at some point in the near future.
Also the customer service i receieved was brilliant. Very helpful. Very responsive and got my small problem sorted straight away. Cherry is great! overall great well built product. Great video quality and great speedy interface! Top notch App and amazing customer service. What more could you want?!!!
Good Value for a simple indoor cam.
Cam works really well, easy to set up too. Motion detection works ok, but sometimes you need to refresh the motion detection zone for it to work 100% all of the time.
Update: Good camera and worth the money.
I wanted a basic indoor camera that would work pointed through the downstairs window onto our drive. I also like the idea of having local storage and not having to pay a monthly subscription fee. I am not technically minded but was easily able to follow the instructions to set up the camera and connect it to my phone. The pictures are clear and, at night, (with the night mode turned off) the camera can clearly see through the window and show me what is going on outside. Also, the notifications are instantaneous. Bearing in mind this is an indoor camera it is excellent and worth the money for extra piece of mind.

Love this camera, was recommended by a friend so snapped one up. Have since bought another to keep a tag on the dogs while were away. works seamlessly with apple home kit and can even have a live stream to my watch. I love living in 2020…..well mostly!!!!

Good, basic HomeKit camera
I wanted to get a camera I could use with HomeKit secure video, and this is the cheapest one by a long shot. You lose some of the features when setting it up via HomeKit but I prefer the peace of mind of knowing any clips are stored securely in my iCloud account.
It can be noisy when switching to night mode (for instance when I turn the lights off to watch a movie) which is a minor annoyance but still something to take into consideration.
I’m also not a fan of the fact you can still see the video stream via the Eufy Security app, even when the camera is set to “motion detection only” via the Home app – I don’t really want the camera to record or for video to be visible/streamable when I’m home, and this works as intended via the Home app, but the fact that the Eufy app shows video instead of honouring the HomeKit setting as well is slightly unsettling.

Great quality and price, questionable HomeKi
The quality from the camera is great, as is the motion detection via the Eufy app. I was generally impressed throughout the process of setup, including when adding it to HomeKit. I have had a lot of issues with the camera going offline for long periods of time before coming back on, which means I wouldn’t trust this as my security camera in a key area.
Excellent picture.
This is a first class home surveillance camera, with many options for both record and playback.
The user guide was not much help, nor the online advice, so I taught myself with the hands on method.
Setup was easy on both my iPad, & Samsung phone.
Motion activated recordings were very good, but I turned it off & just use continuous recording. Playback control for this can be found by holding your device in portrait mode (I found this by trial and error!).
Playback speed is variable from 1x to 16x, and it’s easy to find a recording with both continuous & motion activated methods.
Night vision is good, even using street light without the IR.
There are more options than I have time to mention here, but overall it’s a really good camera.

Cracking little camera! HomeKit is a bit dodgy, but that’s not eufy/the cameras fault. Worth the money. If you use for outside CCTV through a window, turn off infra red visio
Great little camera
These cameras are amazing, super easy to set up and then a great customizable app for all the various settings, such as motion sensor, which area/zones to monitor for motion. Which works great if the camera is covering the front of the house and you can then ignore the road/pavement which would constantly trigger alerts. As for alerts, there is very little time lag, about a second, between motion being sensed and an alert being received on your phone.

Ok for monitoring purposes
The only negative thing is you can’t save the videos if you don’t purchase the plan. But if you just want a camera to monitor your room, then this is good value for money. Picture quality is excellent. Night vision is alright.
Needs a higher frame rate
Overall an excellent indoor camera but it would definitely benefit from a higher frame rate. The image is extremely good on stationary things but very blurred when they’re moving. I’ve seen other people using it as a window camera… I’ve tried it and this loses a lot of the human detection because of the glass and objects far away such a number plates aren’t readable. If you just want a clear image indoors or of items very close to it then great but not for items further away or moving then it’s not ideal.
Excellent and confusingly cheap
I’m using this with HomeKit Secure Video. Initial setup is slightly unintuitive because the Eufy app is needed but it only took about half an hour. The Eufy app then gets mostly out of the way as soon as it understands that HomeKit is involved. The camera itself is fine. Looking forward to HomeKit supporting feeds above HD resolution.

Had a problem initially installing on a BT home hub 6 though I was then able to establish connection to my router the following day. Picture quality is great would prefer the option to add a connection to my Homebase 2
Eufy support were quick to respond, though in the end, all was smooth in the end.

I found this camera on Amazon for 37.99 and there was a 20% discount available so I thought for 30ish, I’d give it a go. Best 30ish I’ve spent in a while!
I really like the easy of set-up and use of this camera. Literally, download the app, follow the install, camera working. The added bonus is that you can use the camera with Apple Homekit, although in Homekit, not all functions are available. The camera has a mic and speaker so you can talk directly to the person at the other end. There is clever AI which can tell the difference between a person, pet or other motion. You can mount it upside down and in the app rotate the image and get notification of any triggers to the camera. There is also an option to have pet commands should you want to stop fido or the kids jumping on the sofa.
I’m now looking to add more of the Eufy cameras to my property and will be pleased to do so. You do need to purchase a separate microSD for the camera, but if you factor into the price that you can get a 64GB class 10 Sandisk card for less than 10, it’s mean I have a good quality camera set-up for 40 with features you’d expect to pay double that for!

I really like the easy of set-up and use of this camera. Literally, download the app, follow the install, camera working. The added bonus is that you can use the camera with Apple Homekit, although in Homekit, not all functions are available. The camera has a mic and speaker so you can talk directly to the person at the other end. There is clever AI which can tell the difference between a person, pet or other motion. You can mount it upside down and in the app rotate the image and get notification of any triggers to the camera. There is also an option to have pet commands should you want to stop fido or the kids jumping on the sofa.
I’m now looking to add more of the Eufy cameras to my property and will be pleased to do so. You do need to purchase a separate microSD for the camera, but if you factor into the price that you can get a 64GB class 10 Sandisk card for less than 10, it’s mean I have a good quality camera set-up for 40 with features you’d expect to pay double that for!
Ok so i wanted some cameras at home to spy (i mean keep an eye) on whats going on outside my front door. I was tempted with the Eve cam but its 130, i then happened upon this and with homekit support thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn’t. I currently have two of them connected to my apple TV and phone/ipad and they work flawlessly including with activation zones and identification of people and cars etc and they look great for the price. I’m actually planning on using them outside even though they are an indoor camera, as they will be under a porch so wont get wet, and will silicon the various holes to keep humidity out (no worries about heat as its only low powered).
It has a QR code on the bottom of each camera (i bought two) and you simply download the Eufy app (by the way Eufy is an Annker product and i swear by their quality, just wish i had a few more products of theres to try), and once downloaded you scan the QR code and set up the camera. Then you can activate it for homekit and do any other changes.
Please note: It works with HomeKit secure video fine but as with all HKSV feeds it does not record continuously it only records when it detects motion, however it adds a few seconds before the motion and after so that you see what happened. If you want continuous recording i believe you need to use a microSD card (which i believe you can use to record to AS WELL as stream to your Apple TV/iPhone etc, which i’m going to test out shortly, but beware you need a good quality class 10 micro SD card).
Please also note that once transferred over to HomeKit it disables activity zones and motion sensor detection but this is only in the Eufy app, you will still be able to select activity zones and use motion detection settings from within the Home app on your HomeKit device. While talking about this, its worth also noting that if your HKSV is not recording then make sure the motion detection is still enabled in the Eufy app because even though its selectable and on in the HomeKit app, it still needs to be on in the Eufy app, which incidentally is where you can also adjust the sensitivity settings, but leave the activity zones to be changed in the home app.
Picture quality is not really 1080P. If i shot a 1080P video on my phone it would look loads better, but its good enough! Ignore the 2K. You cant record to SD card in 2K, and once in HomeKit you cant stream or record in 2K either, its only 1080P. I think the only way to get 2K is via the Eufy app or something if you use their hosted storage, which i don’t.
Overall i would (and will) buy more. I have a second one going up under my eaves at the top of the house to keep an eye on my back garden so i can see what my dog is up to from the TV when he goes out for a piddle and then decides to make a break for it somewhere or eat something he shouldn’t.
Rest assured for the money, and for homekit support, you cant go wrong! Oh one last thing, push to talk works in the Eufy app (which you can use alongside the home app so you can use either), but for some reason i cant get the talk button to come up in the home app, so if your keeping an eye on kids or pets and need to talk, use the Eufy app, and leave the Home app to do the recording/streaming etc. (if you want to record more than one camera you need the 6.99/M1T Bicloud plan but you can still record one and stream the other at the same time on the 50gb plan like i do.

I bought 2 of these and the motion detection works as expected in the dark and light. They are a sturdy design and look smart, but I hid mine inside a box and it’s very discreet. I use them for security only, but also for listening to audio. Others had a terrible digital noise, but these have very clear audio. You can disable leds too, so they are hidden at night. Don’t buy cheaper, or more expensive units for indoor surveillance unless you have a specific need. These are great.

I am very happy with the product but the cherry on top of the cake is their customer service. I have had a little issue with a camera and they were super quick to help me supporting me and eventually replacing the item. I could not recommend them more, buy with confidence.

Top Camera!
Really impressed, recently brought a 140 camera which lagged and microphone was intermittent. Then came across this by Eufy and the reviews were really positive, now I see why. Excellent camera, super easy to use, HomeKit enabled! We have a couple of elderly dogs so this is perfect to keep an eye on them.

I have a 128gb flash card which records about 5weeks before it starts to re-record over its self which is plenty. The notification system works well and can be tuned to your liking. I would recommend this camera.

Brilliant little camera. Picture is good in day and night mode. App works really well. Integration with HomeKit and secure video is simple and reacts quickly … much better than other far more expensive cameras I have brought … bargain!
Super image and value for money
If you’re a HomeKit user this is perfect. Connects direct to HomeKit. The image is top quality, really impressed compared to their battery cameras. Reliable, neat and small. Such a good price for HomeKit camera. Really should be endorsed by Apple compared to the overpriced Logitech / netatmo kit they publish on Apple store. Definitely recommend this for HomeKit use. If you don’t have HomeKit, don’t fear, Eufy’s app is also very good.

Fantastic little camera. Turned off night mode and as you can see from the screenshot no glare through window. Wish I’d discovered this years ago. Easy to set up, download app, add device, job done. Can view live from my phone and watch playback. Sound quality is good, can hear what’s going on in background and also talk when I’m not at home. Picture quality excellent.

Great Value HomeKit Camera
The Eufy 2K indoor camera works well with HomeKit on the latest firmware update.
After initial setup via the Eufy app.
I have the firewalled the camera off from the internet.
The camera is now only accessible via HomeKit which works well on iOS14.
Good indoor security camera
Very easy to set up and tailor your security system to your needs. Picture quality is great I’ve had Eufy security system for about a month and it’s met or exceeded my expectations so far.
Only criticism of this particular camera is that it doesn’t integrate 100% with the wireless system. ( you have to arm the camera separately
Good fixed camera.
Good adjunct to my Pan and tilt camera so I can cover more than one room. Fixed in direction but that’s good. Works well with the eufy security app although (only downer) it is controlled entirely separately from other camera so you can go out with one of them activated and the other not. I guess that could be a positive in certain circumstances.
The image quality of this camera is so good, better than any camera I have had before, and I have had a few different makes.
I have replaced some of my Arlo indoor cameras and the price is 100 less.
I have them looking through a double glazed window with the infra-red and status light turned off.

Being a cheaper camera compared to others I didn’t think it would have much to offer. I just wanted a camera I could view with my phone to check on pets so didn’t look too much in to it. I have the Eufy Doorbell so thought I may as well get this considering the price is low and I can just use the same app.
The camera is outstanding. Very good quality and packed with features. Really pleasant surprised to see Pet Detection and other Pet options as well as Continuous recording.
For a small amount more than a Neo SmartCam, it offers so much more.
Annoying thing though is setting activity zones. I’m sure this is an app issue but it’s very fiddly to do. You have to hit the points in exactly the right place to move them otherwise you end up moving the entire zone and messing up the whole thing. Took me ages so gave up.

Great little cam, can’t really fault it, was comparing it to my outdoor ring stick up cam, and expected some mediocre performance/ app usage.. but im positively surprised, does what it says on the tin, plenty of different options inside the app, app pairing etc.. all tip top, good viewing angle, motion detection works, even with my little kitten, from me.. well done especially at that price vs the competitio

Ordered to replace an existing yi garage camera, video quality is great, ease of set up was amazing, integration with HomeKit is seamless. All around very impressed with the camera. Highly recommended.

I bought this with the intention of solely using with HomeKit secure video. For those unaware of the privacy benefits of this, look it up, it’s brilliant. The only problem is with the current batch of these they don’t come with a HomeKit code so can’t be setup directly through the home app and must first be registered through eufy. If you then delete the camera from eufy it stops working in HomeKit. Not ideal for someone who bought it for HomeKit secure video as it would seem the camera is still accessible through eufy servers.
In a few months once the “newer” batches are being sent out (with HomeKit codes for direct setup in HomeKit bypassing the eufy app) then this would be a steal for HomeKit secure video.

Great little 2k cameras by Anke
Having moved away from Xiaomi Dafang and Xiaofang cameras due to the geolocking. These are an excellent little option. Quality of materials and build are top notch as you would expect from anker. Easy to setup. Camera resolution and image quality are very clear both in day and night. Onboard AI detection works very well and reduces the lag for notifications. I purchased 2 PTZ and one of these non PTZ cameras. Whilst the PTZ cost only a little more they don’t point down below the horizon like this camera. So I’m using this for my baby’s cot as a monitor camera. Having learnt from using the Xiaomi cameras is that it is more important to choose a camera from a manufacturer with good software support and development than choosing just based on hardware specs alone. Eufy are relatively in it’s infancy but are a huge Anker subsidiary so I have faith that they will be around to support the software for the long run. The software is clean and works well. But at the moment, the HomeKit integration is not ready. There is one minor bug when you switch off the status light on the camera they switch back on again.

I’ve recently sold my Nest cams to make way for these. I’ve noticed no negatives between the two, bar not being able to look at multiple live feeds at once. I use these inside HomeKit and use iCloud storage for playback. Works really well and a fraction of the price of others.

Great camera for the price
Good feature set and HomeKit support make this a winner. It’s a shame HomeKit limits some of the features available in the app and reduces the max recording and streaming resolution to 1080p but that’s very much on Apple rather than Eufy.

The toss up was between this and the TP-Link Tapo camera. But decided to go for this based on being a Eufy product and 20% off at the moment so the price was similar.
The image quality of this camera blows my Xiaomi camera out of the water. It is really clean and crisp. I wanted a camera with a micro sd card slot for local recording and this does this with no problems. The motion detection can be set up as areas (Similar to ring) which is handy and the AI recognises faces so takes a pic to put near the video as a thumbnail image which is a nice touch. Also has cloud options and can be linked to Apple Homkit to use iCloud, which I have yet to try. This doesn’t require a hub and set up was a breeze. In the box you get a usb wall charger and mounting kit which is really handy. The camera is powered using a micro usb cable and I have used a socket usb which is enough power for the camera so it doesn’t use a space for a plug. There is an option for 24/7 recording (local storage only) but this records at 1080p.
Overall, the features this camera has and the ease at which it is to set up and operate makes it a definite choice for me. Just need to wait for the other camera to die so I can replace them all with these.
Delighted with camera
The quality is excellent, I am using HomeKit secure video and all is working well, good quality and not laggy. It’s neat and looks great. HomeKit set up was a bit tricky, you need to use the Eufy app, camera settings, HomeKit Portal to ensure it works with Apple HomeKit.
