It took me 3 washes to get the desired colour but even after the first wash the yellow was disappearing! It smells ok but not the best! Lathers up good and I left it a couple of minutes before rinsing!! Great price for the size of the bottle!!!
As good as the salons
Excellent shampoo, really lightens hair. I used to go to the hairdressers for highlights every 6/8 weeks but since using this shampoo I haven’t had it coloured for 6 months. People are always complimenting my hair colour.
No more yellow
I have very strong grey hair but always get yellow patches have used this twice and yellows highlights have gone but I would recommend using disposable gloves when applying and follow with a good conditioner as hair does feel dry Xx
Gping through stages of havjng my hair lightened to where i’d like it. This is the first stage, having had my hair lightened in a salon ( first pic) and then had this product used on my hair (second pic) What a difference it makes. Removed all the yellow in my hair. Lasted around 3 shampoos until fully out of my hair. Good price for a big bottle and should last a little while. Very impressed
Does brighten up the blondes
It does work but u have to apply it before showering and keep it on for a bit before lathering it under the shower. I find that if used simply as shampoo it doesn’t give a great result.

Really does brighten up blonde. If you’re a light blonde be careful how long you keep the shampoo in your hair it will turn purple. The purple washes out in a couple of washes and always looks nice so it doesn’t bother me.
Value for money..
It does the job but like many anti-yellow purple shampoos it stains your finger nails it takes a lot of scrubbing to remove so either use gloves or paint your nails after use
I have warm blonde, bleach and dark brown highlights and after a few weeks they do start to get VERY warm in terms of colour and it all merges into light ginger territory which is not what I wanted. My hairdresser recommended this and its fantastic. A huge bottle, great value as it will last forever as you only need a bit to turn my brassy locks into the original colours that I walked out of the salon with – ashey blonde and no hint of too much warmth. Don’t keep it on too long though as I think it could go a bit over if you left it more than a minute or two. Also wash shower and hands immediately after use as its powerful stuff. That said, its a must-have ……. Fabulous and I’d give it six stars if I could
Good but-
I used this for a very long time and it works very very well for neutralizing yellows and oranges. It’s pretty much a toner.
However it dried my hair out so much and if you leave it too long it turns your hair grey purple.
Really does work
This product really does work, i have highlighted hair and this gives my hair a really nice colour without the yellowing, it does stain your hands and anything else it comes into contact with so wash hands as soon as you have finished rubbing into hair or wear gloves
My aunt asked me to look for a shampoo that would give a soft purple colour and which would also wash out. I decided on this one due to the excellent reviews from other customers. Having totally grey hair this shampoo gave it such a beautiful shade of lavender purple. The last thing she wanted was a ‘stark’ colour and she was delighted by the results of this shampoo. On the same day she used the shampoo she was given two compliments on her hair. We were both surprised. Needless to say, she will be buying it for herself from now on, although that won’t be for some time because such a little goes a long way and she got a good sized bottle.

Does do what it’s supposed to when you can eventually wash purple hue out. Is messy and stains anything it accidentally goes on. Do not use without gloves as hands do get very stained

Very Good Shampoo
Really happy with results, have to be careful with hands so maybe wear gloves or a nail brush will do the job. Hair was a tiny bit dry but nothing a conditioner couldnt solve. Lovely ashy blonde results. will definitely be using for the future, would recommend

After using over the counter products with no success, one quick application of this sorted my yellow tinge out first use. The smell doesn’t bother me, it’s not very strong or unpleasant and it did not dry my hair out. This bottle will last me ages.
I’ve used so many expensive purple shampoos and none of them have compared to this one. It’s extremely pigmented and rich. Cheap for a full 1 litre bottle! Amazing! It works fast and smells nice. My hair was super yellow after not toning it for a good while and I mean BRIGHT yellow. I wet my hair then towel dried it, I ran the purple shampoo evenly throughout my hair (use gloves, unless you like purple stained fingers and nails) and I left it in for 15 minutes then rinsed and conditioned for 5. It looks lovely, no more yellow and I’m back to a salon silky ash blonde. Im so happy I bought this shampoo

Really pigmented! If you have roots or different tones of blonde this WILL take differently on the lighter hair so beware. Great shampoo of you have clean blonde hair to start and use to brighten and tone. Not for every wash! Don’t overuse as will build up and also can be drying.

Tried this for the first time on my natural grey/yellow hair. Most impressed, it got rid of practically all of the yellowing which is what I wanted. Reasonably scented, didn’t leave my hands purple and hair was quite soft with no conditioner. Will definitely keep using and great value for money. Can recommend this shampoo.

Amazing price for the size of the bottle. As shown in a lot of customers pictures though, my bottle was also leaking a little bit and still continues to do so even when stood upright. The lid on the bottle is a massive issue and needs to be looked at.

I brought this as my hairdresser recommended it as my hair starts to go yellow a few weeks after having it bleached, I find you only need to have it on 2 minutes max as it is strong stuff, it doesn’t smell the best but if your looking to remove the dull look to your hair then this works a treat, a little goes a long way

Fantastic value for money as it’s a huge bottle and a little goes a long way. It’s very strong so I don’t leave it on too long but it really gets rid of the dreaded yellowing and makes it more ash blonde colour. I wear rubber gloves when using it so I don’t get mauve hands
Smells hangi
Better than most purple shampoos but the smell makes me heave. Also, if u leave it in longer than a couple of minutes you’ll have a streaky mop of yellow grey and orange strands! Never seems to even out.
Profesional haircare product of quality.
I have grey hair and this is the best shampoo which was recommended by my hairdresser. The bottle last forever as only a little amount is needed. It dries the hair so I recommend applying conditioner or the no yellow mask.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a year now and I’m on my second 1000ml bottle. Hands down, this is the best purple shampoo I have used – and for the price, it is certainly the best value too. I use this once a week to maintain my cool blonde colour: I shampoo twice (as per my normal routine) and on the second shampoo, leave it on for a few minutes. I’ve left this on for 5+ minutes in the past, and one of my favourite things is that if you do leave it on a little longer, it doesn’t actually turn hair purple, like I have experienced with other shampoos. A little goes along way., and it does a good job of cleaning the hair too, without drying it out (my hair is natually on the dry side).
The Yellow was Gone After One Wash!

I put in my hair for 7-10 mins (my hair was very yellow), and when I rinsed it off, was really happy with the results!

Used fanola after a bit of crap bleach job done the trick and brighten my hair up left it on for 3 minutes doesn’t smell overly great and did leave my hair a little dry but nothing a good conditioner didn’t sort out. Definitely wear gloves while using it as it’s very pigmented and leaves your hands very purple

Always bleach and tint own hair-is ok as keep it short. I use 40% as very dark base colour, and a tint to whiten. Over time and washes it yellows again but since using this product my hair has stayed the original white. Am chuffed with it tbh

Always loved this for my blonde hair just leave on a couple/few minutes and west gloves when using otherwise your hands and nails will be purple stained also don’t leave on too long as you will get the off purple strands ( will eventually wash out but not ideal if your going somewhere ) this product is fantastic all in all just follow the advise

The bottle is huge and lasts ages, it is a really deep purple and tones your hair to a beautiful ash. It brightens up blonde beautifully and is now my go to. I have tried other brands which were fine but this stuff is brilliant. I have my hair balayaged for referenced. It can stain your hands slightly but nothing a couple of washes doesn’t get out. I just pop this stuff on damp hair leave for 5 mins and wash out. I’ve now started to only use once every couple of weeks as it stays in so well. When I was using it daily it was over toning it as its so strong.
The only tiny downside I would say is its quite drying on the hair so give it a good condition afterwards.
Very strong
I only leave this in my hair for two minutes and I now have purple hair. I like the look. It makes your hands purple too. I wash with one normal shampoo to remove the dirt and then use this. My hair is less greasy so I think it dries it out, use a good conditioner on my ends to keep my hair healthy. I get lots of comments and people asking what I use!

I was skeptical seeing a purple shampoo for this price, but believe it or not it is real. The level of thickness and saturation are borderline salon quality, but of course the ones used at a salon usually have much harsher chemicals/additives, so this is a great shampoo for upkeep.
The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because my hair is both yellow and orange, I naturally pull really warm undertones. So even after having it bleached I noticed that you could still see some discoloration, and after using this product I feel like there were some changes but minimal. This may be me and I may just need to mix both the no yellow and orange shampoos to get the effect, but if you are like me who once was a light blonde and now is more dishwater, try the blue shampoo instead of purple if you have not had any luck.

I was recommended this by my hairdresser as I am growing out my old colour to embrace the grey. I have highlights in what would naturally be dark brown hair. I think with continued use it will name a significant difference to the yellow in the blonde. Nice size bottle will last me months.

This is by far the best ourple shampoo I have ever bought – and I’ve bought a few. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR GLOVES ON APPPICATION – My hands turned a dark shade of purple after my first time using it. I find putting it on dry hair works the best, then shampooing through after having it on 10 mins. The toner effect lasts around 7-8 washes before it fades. Superb value for the price too; much better than high street or supermarket brands. I highly recommend.

Although this is maintaining my colour and I only use twice a week I always have to put hair mask on after use as dries hair out quite a lot and cannot take comb through it without using mask
Powerful
It’s a huge bottle!
It def tints the hair, but it is powerful and leaving it on the optimum time is crucial otherwise you end up with the purple rinse look. I’ve found 5mins is good but 6 is tooo much. Need to be careful. It makes the greys slightly darker which I like but have found scalp line goes purple if not careful.
You need gloves and old towels when using as stains very easily.
The ONLY purple shampoo which makes your blonde truly platinum
I have tested I think almost all purple shampoos and conditioners as my blonde is light and I want to maintain it white-gray/platinum for a long time. This is the only product which gets rid of entirely of any yellowish/orange hues of my blonde and makes it uniformly platinum with cute shades of light blue or even pink/purple. It can get messy if you don’t wear gloves as it is extremely pigmented, but as long as you do and you leave it on your wet hair for a few minutes, your blonde will be re-freshened and will look amazing. Totally recommend it!
The best toning shampoo for blonde and grey hai
So I’ve used this shampoo on and off for a couple of years, and flirted with high street available alternatives when I’ve ran out. Nothing has the depth of pigmentation that this shampoo has. I use as a normal shampoo but I have left it on longer as a bit of a treatment if I need to give my highlighted hair a bit of a boost. It takes out the brassiness and yellow tones instantly and leaves my hair a cooler toned blonde.
I suspect this bottle will last me at least a year as I wash my hair once, maybe twice a week, so it represents great value to me.
Toned and Blonde
Really huge bottle of shampoo so I would say it’s a great value for money. It is incredibly pigmented so pre-warning, it can stain your hands (particularly nails) purple for a few hours!!
I did find that it can be a bit more drying on the hair so I would recommend using it no more than 2 times a month! It does do a great job of toning but does dry the hair so I’d recommend also using a deep conditioner with this product. All in all, does the job and will most likely repurchase!
Cuts the yellow
This shampoo certainly cuts the yellow – preventing my greying hair from going brassy. It is the first time I have bought this shampoo. Having used it three times, I’ve noticed it stains my nails making them look dirty. In future I will wear gloves. A hairdresser friend advised me that it contains sulphates. For that reason I will not be buying it again and will go back to Fudge.

I love this stuff, big bottle for low cost, i finally used it this week after id bleached my roots.
My hair is quite dark when the roots grow, i bleach my hair blonde and usually have to then use a white toner to try and get rid of the brassy yellow colour, i used this and have to say its really soapy so you dont need loads, i gave it a good rub through my hair, i didnt really leave it on as such, i used it like i would my shampoo.
When i rinsed off i was pretty amazed at how it had worked well to get rid of the brassy roots, the ends of my hair was a mild lilac colour after, but thats because my ends are pretty white and also porous needs trimming, still looked good though.
Id really recommend this to get rid of those yellow tones, it smells nice, value for money and felt soft when washing my hair.

Read the reviews, seen it everywhere and wanted to try a new purple shampoo.
Soon as it arrived I had to try! Basically it worked wondersBUT when I woke up the next morning I had no idea that it stained my body.
So a tip. Wash your hair over a bath, shower or sink. Basically don’t wash your hair in the shower or bath the same time or end up like me staining the toilet seat and bedding!

I have been using fanola for 5 years now. Have tried other purple shampoos but this is by far the best. I wash my hair, towel dry it then leave fanola on for 15 minutes. You need a good conditioner as all purple shampoos are very drying. I always get compliments on my colour.
If your hair is very damaged don’t do 15mins straight off as you will get purple hair, it’s trial and error to find the time to colour ratio that works for you.

After using a cheaper toner and it’s failing miserably I bought this after seeing on YouTube and I have to say I do not regret purchasing it at all these are the results after five minutes of using the shampoo and the pictures speak for themselves I would highly recommend this first of all what a bargain and value for money 1000 mL for 9 how can you ever complain! Seriously it will last me ages before I even need to buy a new bottle it does leave the hair a bit dry but it’s nothing that can’t be solved with a bit of serum, oils and conditioner I would also mention that a little goes a long way so don’t use a lot of product and I personally used gloves because I didn’t fancy risking having purple hands. Having been relatively dark brown for many years I finally bit the bullet and had my hair done and went with balyage with much lighter ends however, after a week or so I noticed my hair going yellow and was mortified and wanted to go back to brunette to hide the yellow hue. I was then recommended this shampoo so gave it a go for the price and am so glad I did! Straight after the first wash there was a noticeable difference and made my hair lovely and soft!
I can’t live without it now and only have to use it about once a week to keep the yellow at bay!

Great shampoo but make sure you use gloves as it does turn your hands purple! It leaves a lilac colour on my hair too so i obv shampoo for too long before rinsing it. You only need a tiny bit of this shampoo too so it is very good value for money and will last forever!

I was recommended this shampoo from a family friend I have blonde hair this is better than any silver shampoo I have ever used not only does it keep your hair shiny and takes all the warm tones out it also locks the colour in meaning those unwanted roots dont come back as fast you literally only need a tiny amount leave it on less than 5 minutes and you look like you did when you walked out the salon (PLEASE WEAR GLOVES WHEN APPLYING) if you havnt tried this it’s a must good bye yellow hair hello fresh shiny silver hai
