    Folds quite compac
It is bigger than I thought. It seems to compact the grass as well as collect it but it is a little heavy and it’s a bit of a struggle over the pot holes in the garden. Good price though.

    Does the job.
Similar to my last mower but this grass box is more awkward to use. It is half covered so the grass won’t come out easily. You have to put your hand in and pull and push the grass out.
As usual the electric cable is to short so despite having a small lawn close to the house, I always have to use an extension cable.

Cuts thick dense grass with no fuss. Some cleaning issues.
When we moved into our home seven months ago, the front and back gardens were overgrown with thick dense grass. We bought the Flymo EasiGlide Plus with a 36 cm cutting width to help with the big task ahead. This lawn mower is well-built and robust. It comes with a 10-metre cable which is fine for the front garden, however, our medium-sized back garden would require an extension lead. The mower is portable and relatively lightweight. It is easy to use, but it helps to read the instructions first!

The noise level of the mower was acceptable with no vibrations; the sound would not have upset our neighbours. We did not experience an ‘EasyGlide’ as the surface of the front garden is both uneven and (on the day of using the product) the grass was damp. Most of the cut grass went into the collection box, but the excess may have been left due to ground moisture issues; future use will confirm this theory.

On a negative note, cleaning the lawn mower was frustrating due to difficulty accessing the relevant areas.

Overall, the easily stored Flymo EasiGlide Plus Lawn mower successfully cuts thick dense grass with no fuss within a short time. We recommend it.

Good cut on a small law
I have a small front and back lawn and this mower gives a really good cut and holds plenty of grass with a clear view of when it’s ready to be emptied, folds away well and is an easy carry to boot, competively priced into the bargain.

    Good cut nice finish
The lawnmower produces a good finish but the lawnmower itself feels a little flimsy compared to my other flymo lawnmower this one folds down to a compact size and is easy to empty the height adjustment is done by adding the discs on to the bolted blade underneath my older one had a lever to lower it only plus side with this new one the motor is more powerful

I like how easy it just glides over the grass and cuts with ease but I just use it how it came out the box because I found bolt holding blade together too tight for me to add spaces but luckily I’m happy with the cut it does without spaces and my lawns look lovely.

Easy to set up , little assembly required out of the box, adjustable cutting hights from 10 to 30mm using supplied spacers and spanner, powerful 1.8 Kw motor and large 26 litre grass box which is easy to see when it’s full. Ideal for medium sized gardens.

Great looking lawns but poor clippings-collectio
This is my first hover mower having previously owned a wheeled rotary with back roller.

My main reason for switching is that I found the rotary hard to manoeuvre when turning.
The hover mower wins hands down here, it’s still not buttery smooth but there’s really no comparison.

Without a back roller, the grass looks seamless, like a carpet when finished and it retains the same aspect as it grows taller. Obviously, you won’t get the lines with this but this suits me fine.

The main downside: grass collection. The mower does a really poor job of collecting grass whether the grass is bone dry or slightly moist. Some grass is collected but quite a lot is dumped on the lawn, requiring raking to remove excess. Basically the fan underneath the grass-box gets clogged and the fresh clippings can’t get past it.

    Other downsides are:

    1. very difficult to adjust height, requiring removal of the blades using a special tool (included), strength, patience, thick gloves, courage and confidence. I have mine set to the minimum grass height (semi-permanently).

    2. Uneven patches of lawns, especially at edges, can get absolutely destroyed down the roots when the mower is hovering lower than the other part.

    3. It’s heavy, like really heavy and it doesn’t have wheels so it needs to be carried to the lawn.

    4. It’s great that it can be folded for storage; what’s not so great is that the mechanism is tricky and it makes the handle seem fragile and flimsy.

In conclusion: a step up from my wheeled rotary (although that was amazing at grass collection) but I recommend you do better research than I did and try and find a mower that doesn’t dump grass all over the lawn.

    Light to operate
This is the smaller version of our last mower. Lighter to push. The last one you could make the cut higher or lower with a lever on the top but this requires unending and putting in spacers with the provided tool. This feels very flimsy as so much pressure has to be applied to turn it. I couldn’t do it myself and had to get my husband to it. The biggest drawback was the length of the cable which wouldn’t go to the end of the grass in our moderate sized garden and the next time I will have to plug it into an extension lead which isn’t ideal

Great product. Great brand. Good value.
I have a large garden and this easily does the job with an extension lead. Trying to avoid a petrol mower… blade is set high out of the box so if your grass is reasonably under control in length you will want to lower it.

Good powerful machine. Well made. Could do with a slightly longer cord.
Does pick up grass but not as well as my old flymo. A lot bellows out of the machine. Only got a relatively small garden so not a huge issue for me

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersJust tried it for the first cut.
Assembled and put on the two spacers provided with it as I want a short cut on my (mostly) even height lawn. Although it has cut shorter than the Bosch it replaced I may need to fit another spacer or two to go lower.
As other reviewers state, it does blow out a fair amount of grass which needs sweeping afterwards, but hopefully the trade off will be more time between cuts which is my primary consideration.

I noticed on starting it up that there is a momentary slight screech which possibly is normal, at least there is the 2 year warranty to fall back on and it was supplied by Amazon….we shall see.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAppears poorly made
Initial Notes: Box was damaged on delivery and on inspection some minor scuffing to side of mower casing…..only minor and it will get a few more kocks when in use. Seems quite ‘flimsy’; no ‘solid’ feel like our previous Flymo’s had. This may be necessary to prevent vibration damage so a more ‘flexible’ type of material has been used.

Assembly: Be careful when attaching cable ‘winding hooks’ as the arm is very weak and crushes easily as you rotate the hooks to tighten and align them. This can cause a crease (or bulge) that will weaken the arm and may lead to it splitting. I noticed this happening before any permanent damage had been done. It would be better if Flymo had prevented the tread going to far along the length of the bolt so that the tubular arm could not be crushed; or at least supplied a short restrictor tube to slip over the thread to prevent over-tightening.

Using: A fair bit nosier than our 3 year-old Flymo Ultraglide and feels less ‘robust’. Cuts well but we prefer our ‘Ultraglide’. Easy to empy and clean though.

We were going to give our old one to our daughter for her garden but I think we’ll give her this one and continue with our Ultraglide until Flymo bring out a good replacement for it.

It needs bigger wheels at the front.
For my garden, the machine needs larger wheels at the front cos my lawn has a lot of divots & uneven bumps in it & the wheels tend to go down the divots & stop the machine.
My old Flymo had larger wheels & did not suffer from this problem.
If you have an even lawn with no divots then this machine will be great.
All I need to do is even out the lawn & the machine will be fine, but it’s getting a Round Tuit.

Powerful motor, good cut - fairly lightweight and easy to carry
The 360v plus has a powerful motor and cut 10 weeks of growth (medium lawn) with no problem. Grass collector was large enough to collect grass in one session but the clip on handle came away with the weight of grass. Quite good length cable that is stored on the Flymo.
Powerful motor, good grass collector size and fairly light weight (compared to my XE30) but thin plastic used in some areas & the control handle is plastic (but seems durable) hence 4 star rating

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDoesn't cut low enough
It doesn’t cut low enough for my liking so I added an extra spacer. Beware when doing this though, because the mower will ‘dig’ in when you start it up. So, tilt it to the side slightly before starting and you’ll be ok. It doesn’ t cut right up to the edge of the lawn either. Go off and you’ll scalp your lawn. Another little tip, mow in straight lines not side to side or it won’t pick up your clippings. The pickup for the grass box is at the rear of the mower so only picks up what’s been mowed in front of it. Other than that it hovers nicely which makes it easy to move around.

This power cam basically ready to go at the box just take off the wrapping a few clips and if you want to add a spacer to the blade which I did the only thing is make sure you’ve got the blade the right way round which it tells you on the blade this side to the grass then when you using it just keep Fan clean underneath the grass box so it Hovers better and another thing is down over tighten the cable tidy Hooks on the handle or you will crack it but apart from that it’s a great mowe

    Handy for what it is
It has been a while since I had a hover mower. As the area of grass is only 46m2 manoeuvring was essential.

This flymo does tick most boxes though there can be a build up of over mulch grass causing clocks in the cutting area and grass.

The clear window for the waste box is possibly pointless as the moisture of the cuts grass does smear the clear plastic and makes it hard to tell if full enough.

    No bother hove
Ok, so it does not do lines in the lawn and when nearing full may give you a clue it needs emptying by a line of grass at the edge of the mowed area but this machine is super agile and so easy to steer.

I am a fan of these mowers and have had Flymos for over 30 years. Make sure before putting the mower away that you disconnect the power and use the tool provided to scrape away the grass build up in the blade area and your machine will be grateful for it.

Useful cable tidy added to handle but it is a shame they have shortened the cable by 3M. I had to transfer my lead from my old mower as I dislike extension leads in the garden.

See through grass box is a bit gimmicky as the cut grass sticks to it.

    Would I buy another? Yes.

The Flymo Easiglide Plus 330V is really better comparing it to our Flymo Hover Vac 270. We only have a small and flat lawn less than 20sqm so we opted to get the small one last year but it made the task slower to finish because the cutting width is shorter and I had to stop to empty the box 2-3 times or even 4 depending on when the grass was too overgrown. Very easy to put together and operate. Although a little bigger and heavier, it still has the same maneuverability— very easy just like using a hover in the carpet but job is done faster because of the wider 33cm cutting width and a bigger 20Liter capacity grass box with a handy transparent lid so you don’t have to open it to check if it’s full and needs emptying. Very quick and easy to empty too. My lawn is not lush at the moment and very patchy because of the work done at the back of the house recently so I still cannot see how many times I will need to have to empty this but I am sure it will be significantly less as it’s bigger. Still the same 10m cable which is enough for our garden. Can be folded and stored vertically to save space. I am happier with this.

Flymo have advanced their designs their designs somewhat in relation to providing a mower which requires the minimum of assembly by the user. All that needs to be done is the handle for the grass box to put in place – it just pushes into place and then remains locked in place; and then the cable attached to one of the arms of the mower via of two clips and plastic wing nuts. Whilst on the subject of cable: Flymo put yourself into the naughty corner and don’t come out until you learn how to provide cable which hasn’t been bent into such tights angles that getting the bends out is nigh on impossible.

The method of altering the depth of cut of this Easyglide model Flymo might seem laborious but it is a whole lot better than an earlier design which only required that a dial on the front of the mower be rotated either counter clockwise or clockwise to lower or raise the cut. Within no time at all grass would build up between the cutting platform and the body resulting in the inability to rotate the dial due to a stuck undercarriage mechanism.

The enclosed instructions suggest that the mower should not be used on a garden of more than 20 degrees elevation. However Flymo do claim that this mower can be of benefit to those who have a bumpy/uneven garden due to the mower’s ability to hover. This claim is 100% true judging by my trial of the mower early this morning. My garden has two problems: One, the garden slopes due the rise of the street. Two, it really seems to me that someone has dug earth out of the back garden and then deposited it in the front garden – and without worrying whether it looked level or not. Usually, mowing this garden with my ‘quick adjust’ Flymo, is a pain: literally. It is hard work; yes, it is true that this latest model is more powerful than my quick adjust type one – but the real award goes to this new model being able to hover and therefore easily be pushed ‘vertically’ or swung horizontally’ in relation to the user.

The only operational negative that I find significant enough to mention is that this model is noisier than my current one. Well, it’s the type of sound that is different. Bear with my vocal abilities here but my existing Flymo makes a hum sound, this new model makes a brr.. sound. I know, I know, but please excuse me but I don’t get out that often, smile.

Flymo Easyglide plus 330 v Hoover collect lawn mower 1700 w motor 33cm cutting width 20 litre grass box ,the handle folds flat for easy storage 10 m cable length. Ideal for sloped and irregular shaped gardens .That’s just some of the gen you can find a full version on the Amazon Website. What I thought it arrived well packed with minimum assembly required, just in time for the start of the gardening season. It did my first cut of the year with ease ,as you know the first cut is the hardest but this mower did it no problem the large grass box meant less emptying and the 10 metre cable long enough for my lawn ,plus its not to noisy so that’s a bonus, a fold down handle for easy storage. So to sum it up an excellent mower I’m sure will last many years .So if you need a new mower you won’t regret buying this one

Lightweight and easy to use. Handle is already assembled (previous mower wasn’t) cutting height needs adjusting but easy enough to do. Only down side is there is no clip for the tool used to change or adjust the blade but a good moderate good price.

No hover mowers available locally. Cheaper version on Amazon 2 weeks to deliver so paid extra for quick next day delivery. This model is easier to manoeuvre and has good grass collection with transparent top so you can see when full plus it shoots cuttings out the side if too full. My previous mower died on me and wouldn’t have paid almost double for replacement if I could have found cheaper one locally or delivered faster.
