A very good buy.
The only problem we had was assembling the grass box, eventually gave up (luckily had saved the one from the old mower (same model) which had given us years of good service. As a good little mower would recommend highly.
Compact and lightweight.
It’s a neat compact machine which cuts well. I live on my own and found the grass collection box very difficult to assemble. Eventually had to get a friend to hold parts while I tried to slot it into correct shape.
The mower is a good price and value for money.

Cuts grass well is light and easy to use and very quiet I would recommend
Good budget mower.
Bought to replace older model (Visimo) from 2012. Feels lighter to move and cuts well. Had to empty the box about 3 times on this lawn. Good mower.
Ideal for elderly people with small to medium gardens!
I like the size, weight, manoeuvrability of the mower.
Only the screws are bit awkward. It would be much better to have the two section of the handle on click.

It was not too bad to put together, but 1of the handles did not have a hole to put the fixtures through so we had to get a friend to make a hole for us. With the roller at the back of it it makes it harder to push

Lightweight mower. Works OK but not sure how long it will last. My previous mower lasted 15 years so we’ll see.
Works well, but assembling not so easy.
Bought to replace an earlier Flymo that died. Attaching the handle was easy, but assembling the grass box is a real pain. The top and bottom clip together, but getting all the slots together at the same time is both impossible and vocabulary expanding. Fortunately my husband decided to see if the grass box on our old machine fitted, and it does so I was able to abandon the attempt.
Once assembled it’s a good machine, easily tackling our somewhat overgrown back lawn.

However he feels that there could be more choices for the grass cutter functions, as there are only 3 heights. At first we thought there was a lever at the side, unfortunately not, as you have to be strong enough to alter the back and front wheel bars to the position you need.
The grass back came in sections, and the instructions were not clear enough to advise of how to put the grass box together. Again, it requires strength to do so.

I absolutely love this lawnmower!! Replaced a reasonably modern flymo with this because health issue meant I found the flymo heavy work. This lawnmower is so easy to manoeuvre around the garden & means that it is no longer a dreaded chore! The grass box seemed very flimsy when I was assembling it & took a little but of working out for fitting to the the mower but once I’d played around with it for 10 mins it was sturdy & solid & it was ready to go. It cuts the grass well & it collects it all so no sweeping up. No regrets with purchase at all

Easy to follow instructions for assembly of grassbox and handle. No tools required. Folds and stacks nicely for storage. Cuts all lengths of grass well. Can be used without grassbox. Cuts close to fence/wall. Great mower.
A nice, simple electric mowe
I mowed grass – it seemed like the right thing to do with a lawnmower. The only problem I had was in setting the wheel height – this must match on each side of both axles or the blades dig in, the light weight can then cause it to slew off line and also to throw bits over and under the grass box – but this is a user fault, not a product fault and once I’d figured out my error it worked perfectly.

Put it together easily little fiddly to ajust cutting hight but aboslutly loved this mower just what i wanted small, lightweight easy to manuver cuts well leaves nice stripes in lawn. Realy pleased would recomend. Only down side is that i have to keep looking at my very impressive law

I have only used this lawnmower once but up to now I am very pleased with it. It is nicely balanced and very easy to carry, I also own a Bosch lawnmower and I think the flymo has the edge over my Bosch one. I can recommend this mower as it is good value for money.

No issues so far after 9 cuts. Folds up nice, not too noisy, lightweight and manoeuvrable. My garden is roughly 300 sq Mtrs, albeit not exactly a manicured lawn. Looks tidy after being mowed.
Very Good Purchase
Overall very pleased with the mower, the large grass box is excellent and the 38 cms blade cuts right up the the lawn edges. On the minus side, the length of the lead is just too short for my lawns. It would be a good idea and added value as well as a necessary safety device’ to fit as standard, an anti surge plug, just in case you accidentally ran over the live lead.
Delivery was a nightmare, I received an ‘Electric Fan’ instead of the ‘Lawn Mower’ and had to send it back before being able to take delivery of my original order. This all took over three weeks, which is highly unsatisfactory.

This mower is great, it cuts well and the height adjustment mechanism is perfect. However the grass box assembly is very problematic, it took ages to get the two halves to fit together. I still recommend the mower just be patient with the grass box.

Very easy to use. A long cable. I am a mature lady so I found it easy to manouvre even though it has a roller on the back.

Great if you're disabled
I bought this because I am disabled but still want to do gardening on a limited basis. I like it because it is lightweight and easy to use. I still have to empty the basket but you can’t have everything !
Good value for money
I bought this to do my front garden, I need to use an extension cable even though the lead does seem to be quite a good length. I found it easy to assemble on my own and took no time at all. It is lightweight and much easier to use than my petrol mower. It is very quiet and does a good job on my very uneven lawn. The grass box could maybe be a bit bigger, but that is a minor issue.

Bit of a faff putting it together but once I had I was very pleased with it, it’s light weight to use, got a fairly long cable and cuts the grass perfectly well, would definitely recommend.
Cut Close
All good for a small average lawn but downside the settings do not allow a shorter cut and of coarse if you wish to have stripes not the machine to have. The service of delivery excellent and the packaging. Did suggest to the manufacture to supply two screw on brackets one for each spare of the handles so you could wind the power cable on when storing.. With two jubilee clips and two door coat hangers modified my own. Yes quite running.

The delivery of this product was prompt.
The lawnmower was relatively easy to put together. The plastic felt a bit flimsy but I guess that’s what makes it lightweight.
The only problem we encountered was moving the wheel positions for grass cutting. The Springs were so strong and the space to manoeuvre so small that it took two of us to put the bar in the correct position but once that was sorted we were off and cutting.

I used the lawnmower for the first time today.
It was easy enough to assemble, although the grass box was a bit fiddly.
I think I have underestimated the size of my garden. Or maybe its because its the first cut of the season, but the grass box needed emptying a lot.
I don’t like the start safety button in the middle, it’s a bit awkward. I noticed the blade was blunted after use. This was from going over stones, so check your lawn for debris before use.
It was light weight and cut the grass ok, and was relatively cheap.
I’ll see if it lasts the summer. Fingers crossed.

Great value
I’m not good at building things at all but this was simple and no tools required. The Flymo is great in the garden, easy to remove the grass box and refit when emptying! Long cable but dependent on your garden you might need an extension. Well worth the money!!
Perfect for a small/medium garde
Ordered this for my first garden in my new house, great little mower. The only issue i have had is to raise or lower the cutting height, found the mechanism really hard to move, but i do struggle with mobility so not sure if that is the reason. Overall a good little mowe

Did a brilliant job of our lawn that we hadn’t been able to cut for a few weeks! Can lift it with one hand and maneuvers perfectly. Easy to empty, did need to empty it quite often but it’s accurate to its size. All in all bargain, would recommend.
Ideal mowe
I borrowed one these from my son and liked it so much I bought one. I’ve given my old hover mower away, which collected the cuttings but equally made a mess. I still need a broom but nowhere near as much. This mower cuts right up the edges against fences and our rotary dryer, no need for a seperate trimmer. It’s lightweight and pretty quiet as well.

Found the product a little difficult to assembly, grass box, easy to push. Cuts well including along sides. A lot less effort to use than my previous lawn mower. Grass box needs emptying more frequently. Glad I decided to purchase it.

Good lawnmower overall
Easy to put together. Be careful when adjusting the blade by using the wheels as my husband caught his fingers… Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. My only criticisms are that the cord could do with being a little longer at 12 metres (and I only have a small garden and doesn’t quite reach the back without an extension lead) & it feels a little flimsy. Only time will tell if it lasts

A bit fiddly to get the handles on and the instructions booklet was no ikea leaflet and was even more vaugue than that but got there i. The end taking around 15 – 20 minutes to hit the ground running. No grass was left on the lawn and it all went into the grass box which is an optional add on feature. I dont know why I thought it hand fold down handles for packing away but it is quite light and very easy to use. My little garden looks a treat and it left stripes looking

Decent mower for the price.
If you want the fastest mower which will produce football out h stripes then this is not for you. But if you are looking for an inexpensive lawnmower which cuts all but extremely long grass then this will do the job

The mower is excellent. Lightweight and very efficient. Although I’ve given a 5star review, the handle to the grass box was missing, and disappointingly Flymo were unable to replace it. Fortunately Amazon customer service gave me a discount as compensation. Thank you Pleah at Amazon!
Well worth the cost.
Overall a great product, we have quite a small garden, but just using a strimmer was too much work for the results.
Despite it being lightweight, he lacks a little in movement, but I put this down to being wheels as apposed to not having them.
The 3 length settings are perfect, but I find the largest space between the blade and wheels is the perfect fit for British lawns.

It is a really easy to use lawnmower and is just right for my medium sized garden. The grass collecting box can hold plenty of grass and I would recommend it. I just found when changing the cutting heights on the wheels, a little hard.

Needed a mower as I just moved house and this seemed to fit the bill. It’s easy to assemble although prepare to get some bruises putting the grass box together! When I looked closer at the state of my very overgrown, wet lawn, it resembled a ploughed field more than a bowling green and I wondered if this little mower would be up to the job. I have to say that it coped extremely well – would definitely recommend!

Easy to use mower bought for an older female who has problems with arthritis and was frustrated at not being able to cut the grass herself! She is really pleased as this mower is much easier than a hovermo or some similar product that she had previously. It gave her some independence and joy of her garden back after a few years! It is still a bit weighty but she is able to use it.
I only have small grassed areas and so far has done what it’s supposed to without any hassle. Grass box is bigger than my last one which is a bonus. I’ve seen some negative comments about assembling the grass collection box, this is mystifying. It took this clumsy oaf about a minute.
Like any electrical product, it remains to be seen whether it will still be around in a couple of years. Right now I’m very happy with it.
I’ve been using this for nearly a year now without any problems. Cuts the grass just fine and is easy to keep clean. Does what it is supposed to do without any problems and I’ll happily buy another one when my current mower gives up the ghost.

A little awkward to carry from the back garden shed to the front lawn as I thought the handles would fold over somehow but they don’t. However, the mower itself is very good with a good-size grass box. All-in-all I am very pleased with this machine and would certainly recommend.

This is a smashing little lawnmower. I live in a flat and need something small purely for storage purposes, its used to mow a much larger area than its intended for [communal back garden approx 100 x 100 ft] Ive had one of these before for the same reason and it lasted 5 years!

I read all the reviews before-hand and chose this. As far as I am concerned it does everything I need it to do. The box is dead-easy to insert and remove and the grass gets forced up into it without needing a helping hand. Good VFM in my books.

It does what it's meant to. But that's it.
It gets the job done quite nicely. I mean, it’s a lawn mower. It cuts grass and it does that just fine. It’s easy enough to mow up and down the lawn. However, one of the front wheels occasionally gets jammed and there’s an odd rattling sound that comes from it when it’s switched on (I checked the blade and it’s very secure). The cable is also much too short. So make sure you have an extension lead, or two, handy.

I brought this in August as I seem to end up doing the grass cutting and I cannot get the petrol mower started without help. I wasn’t sure if it would be man enough for the job. I was wrong! It’s very lightweight and I just whizz around the lawns. It never falters even if the grass is a bit long and on the damp side! The grass box seemed a bit flimsy but despite that it does its job. I would definitely recommend this product.
I have a small bit of lawn. This is perfect. The cord is long enough to reach out to my little patch, and there is quite a lot of extra cord that needs winding whilst mowing, not a problem, just pointing out, long cord. I haven’t measured it and will not be doing so. Any questions technical please ask seller. If you want to know does it cut the grass, yes and the cutting collection bin took all my patch before filling up. It’s lightweight too. Happy me.

Lowest cutting heights makes a tiny amount of cuttings blow through the sides of the collector box if it’s empty and there are holes in to let air pass through. Doesn’t do this at all on other 2 heights. Middle setting for me. Collects loads and has a hand collector tongue that stops grass falling out when you go to empty the box. Clever design. I didn’t even have to rake after it collected so well.

Excellent product that performs well
Excellent product that performs well. It is light weight, easy to assemble and ideal for the smaller lawn. Certain parts of the plastic casing can feel “flimsy” but I am minded to consider them as being “flexible” and therefore less likely to fail. I am very pleased with my purchase and have no hesitation in recommending it.
When it arrived (very quickly) and I opened the box, my heart sank a little. It looked so small and almost toylike.
But it is a brilliant machine and extraordinarily value for money at 56. It has three settings, 6cm, 4cm and 2cm
and cuts cleanly and thoroughly even quite long grass. It si great for the 2-3 foot verge outside our hedge, which has had
the best cut ever – I used to use a strimmer but this is perfect for the job.
Can’t recommend it too highly (ps I don’t work for Flymo or Amazon!)

The mower is relatively easy to assemble the only challenge for me is to adjust cutting level, it is not easy to do for a woman and in addition both front and rear wheels have to be adjusted. That is why I am giving this mower 4 stars instead of five.

Cuts really well and has the power to deal with longer grass. Metal blade makes this so much better than plastic bladed mowers. Only problem is when the grass is being collected by the basket, there is an imbalance of weight which means if you leave the mower it will fall back so the front wheels are up in the air. No big problem, just keep on mowing and tip out the grass when the basket it full.

Only used once for a small patch of about 8sq meters. Did the job brilliantly but I just wish there was an even higher cut setting because the 6cm still seems too low. Nice long lead. It did require a bit of thinking to assemble because the instructions are very poor or non existent. Just have to look at one picture, that’s it, no actual instructions to follow, for that I take off one star because it was a bit tricky and will be difficult for the average person.
I would recommend it though.
Great buy
I struggled a bit to snap together the grass box but the rest was easy. For the first time in years I actually enjoyed cutting the grass! Although my grass was quite long it cut it easily. The cut was smooth and took a fraction of the time it used to take my with my old mower. My garden is small but I’m sure it would be fine in a larger garden. The lead was a bit shorter than I’m used to but fine with an extension lead.Very pleased and would definitely recommend.

Easy to assemble, very good value for money and does the job well !
My girlfriend was saying that the mower was too small for the garden but she was soon proved wrong (again).
I was done cutting the grass in double quick time and I hate doing the garden.
Overall very pleased with this purchase as I can now spend my time going to the football at Wembley this weekend instead of wasting my time in the garden. I just need someone to paint the fence for me now and steal our dog (which pi**es on the floor daily, or worse) and i’ll be a happy chap.
So, 5 stars to this Flymo. Go on treat yourself to one.

Light and easy to use.
It was a bit smaller than I expected but does a good job on our two small lawns. The double (either hand) safety switch is useful making mowing more comfortable. As the mower is very light when the grass box is full it tips the mower backwards but this is no big deal as it just lets you know it’s time to empty the box. “Easimo” says it all.
Simple little machine
A fairly lightweight device very simply put together. Unfortunately the ground I intended to use it on wasn’t even but this is not the fault of the machine and despite the difficult terrain the machine itself didn’t do too badly.
If like myself you want a simple machine that seems quite robust then I would recommend this machine. On the other hand I can’t really attest to what the finish is like on an even surface.
Good item for the money….. nice and light which was what I wanted and easy to manage. We haven’t had the weather for a good test yet – but looks good.
If I have any criticism it is that the grass-box is unnecessarily clumsy to put together. It comes in two parts, and the top fits to the bottom by 10 clips situated INSIDE the box!! This is a design fault which needs addressing. (The air was blue in my house!)
