An impressive machine
The lawnmower was delivered remarkably soon after I placed the order, and was very reasonably priced. Assembly was easy and it works efficiently. It is light, manoeuvrable, and altogether an impressive machine – ideal for small to medium gardens.
Compact, performs well and great value
Great little mower! I had a big one but my lawn is quite small. We wanted a compact mower that dis a good job and we are not disappointed. The grass was about 6 inches tall yesterday and a bit wet. It dis the job, no problems!
Light machine
This is a good grass cutting machine, a lot lighter than my last one and uses a lot of plastic parts so no rust problems.
Just right!
I am very pleased with Flymo and even at 80 I managed to put it together and couldn’t wait to use it. It was lighter to use than my other one so that was good.
Good replacement for my old small flymo
Holds a lot of grass. Gets quite heavy when full. Nice that there is a flap that lets you know when it is full.
Upgraded from a 32cm 900w that i had for 8 years.
My son mentioned that we mowed in recordntime compared to the old one.
Lightweight and does the job
This flymo was easy to assemble. Being a first time of using lawn mowers, the instruction pull one lever and push the other was confusing, until my son noticed the push button .
Its very light, and does the job. No box full indicator, however the noise changes and grass from the flymo is left on the ground.

Excellent mower for a small law
If you’ve got a small lawn, this is an excellent option. Easy to put together, and cuts the lawn really nicely.
The height is very easy to adjust and it is very easy to manouvre as it’s not heavy at all. Really pleased with it. Glad i bought this one.
Lightweight and effective
This is a fabulous mower ! It’s so light and easy to manoeuvre. My only criticism would be that the illustrations on the leaflet to assemble are not very clear .
Good mower for the price
Bought this to replace an old heavy mower as my husband is ill. Fairly easy to assemble once I’d read how. (Husband would have done it easily but I’m not that handy!) This one took a a lot less effort and cut the grass well even though it was quite long. Did have to empty the grass box a few more times but pleased with the result. Fixed cable so you do need to be careful not to run over it!
Flymo EasiMow 300 R Electric Lawnmowe
This is a super little lawnmower, easy to assemble very manouvreable ,and really light so that can be lifted with one hand.
It is ideal for an older person ,can be turned on with either hand and dragged easily over uneven garden.
It cuts well and collect grass well!!
Also ideal for small garden(although I am managing a medium size garden!)
Excelle
Excellent product. as this is my first lawn mower i don’t have anything to compare this to. However my lawn was overgrown by over a year and this made light work of very tall weeds and grass. I had to set it to the highest setting but it went through it like butter.
Husqvarna is doing a good job.
Great small mower but the wheel fell off!
This is easy to assemble instructions are easy to read and helpful.
Very lightweight and not too big. It is perfect for a smaller garden such as mine.
However, I have just used it to mow the lawn and luckily the wheel fell off just as finished. Very poor quality from a respected name. I know it was cheap but I expected it to last more than using it once!
Save your money and buy something a bit more robust.
Good
Bigger than expected. Me being short find handle a bit high. Therefore a bit difficult for me to manoeuvre. Other than that easy to assemble, cuts well.

Easy to mow
The man in my life reckons this one is much more manoeuvrable than the previous model. Certainly he seems to get the job done in half the time – result!

Good Mowe
This is a good grass cutter. It takes the heads of small daisies etc no problem – which my last mower didn’t. Generous sized grass box as well which is good. The downside is that the assembly instructions are ridiculous and it took quite a few goes to get the thing put together – having actually looked it up on YouTube. That’s how bad the manufacturers instructions are. It’s also not “lightweight”. It’s easy to move around the lawn, but if you need to pick it up and carry it anywhere then have your spinach first!

Cuts long grass
After reading various other reviews I was left worried about purchasing this but I needed not too .
Firstly it cut grass witch was at least a foot hight with no problem .started it on higher cut and worked down .the grass box is large and a tad bulky but at least it doesn’t need emptying so frequently which is a plus . I know there are negative reviews for this but it to me is a great mower .unless you compare it to one triple the cost .

my grass looks grea
easy to assemble , lightweight . bought to replace a petrol mower that was too heavy for the wife
Blown away
Honestly did not think it would do a bad job, but was not expecting just how great it it. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting an electric lawnmower.
Not as good as my last Flymo
My od flymo packed in so needed a new one. Whilst this is a good quality mower and would recommend it is not without its flaws. Fitting instructions could have been clearer. The grass bin is flimsy compared to my old one. Whilst no issues with the cutting of the grass the stripes not as visible and ideally would have liked the lowest setting to cut the grass a little lower.
Top Flymo produc
Ordered the 380R May 2021 for 107. Really simple to build. Build quality is impressive. Cuts foot long wet grass with one hand, doesn’t clog up like my old 330 Flymo. Hopper is massive. Would really recommend upgrading to this. Really happy with i
Made to a price with powerful engine and flimsy parts
Initially, I was very pleased. Powerful motor that sounds the business, though not quiet! I was pleased with the cut and ability to cut right up to the edge.
But… it’s a fairly flimsy design and buckled when stored on its front edge, which is how we’d stored previous flymo. Should be stored flat or hung by outer handle.
Then the rear corner wheel fell off, followed by the roller. Amazon were really helpful and sent us a replacement. Be careful to check the wheels, as they are helpful on by a flimsy push cap. I might see if they can be glued on somehow..
I shall treat this one with kid gloves and check the wheels regularly.
Good mower but made to a price with much flimsy materials than our old machine
Great mower!!
This is a great mower – easy to put together and works really well. Good sized grass box, five different cutting heights and a roller which makes the grass look really good! My inky gripe would be the length of the cable which could probably do with being a couple of meters longer but with an extension cable it’s not a problem – cuts really well and lawn looks great – good value and does the job!!

Flymo Easimow
A great mower. Does a good job of the lawn. Good quality
Great value for money
Easy to use light weight and
Easy to tip grass out of baske
Great mower for medium sized garde
Great mower, like the easy adjustment to cut height and prefer the wheels to my previous hover Only negative is as it’s quite long its a bit awkward turning at the end of each run.
This fitted my requirements well
It is as lightweight as I wanted, my previous one was too heavy to get up steps now. It works well for my medium garden requirements but changing from one grass height to the other is a bit clumsy, having to move a wheel. I would not think it could withstand rough treatment so be gentle with it.
It’s not often I reveiw something straight off the bat but this in my opinion deserves it . I needed an new mower as my flymo well doesn’t fly anymore lol it’s hard work so decided to go back to a rotary mower after doing some reading and looking what others said I went for this one .so first off assembly very easy took me ten mins and it was done some people said the wheel height adjuster didn’t stay where they wanted it I found it just fine others said the grass box was was tricky to get on and off they must have been blind folded I found it very easy someone also. Said on lowest setting it turned their grass to mud check pic I did mine on lowest setting sadly I couldn’t finish mowing my lawn as I discovered I had a bees nest in my composter bin and they were very upset when I disturbed them to sum up this is a great little mower for small to med gardens mine is quite uneven so I’m sure on a lvl lawn it will do a splendid job I should also mention it’s very light and easy to move around

Just about does the job
Flimsier than we imagined but just about does the job on our tiny law
Good mowe
Easy to assemble…. well it must be as I did it and it cuts the grass lovely… a happy custome
Fantastic fly- mo mowe
Very easy to cut the grass in minutes. All you need is an extension socket and easy to plug in and go. Highly recommended.
DOES A GOOD JOB
I bought this as a replacement for my FLYMO COMPACT VC380 that I had given to my daughter. It arrived very quickly and well packed at a very reasonable price. The instructions for assembling the lawnmower were very straightforward. The lawnmower has five settings, cuts very well and picks up all cuttings resulting in no tidying up. I would highly recommend this FLYMO product.

Excellent mowe
What you’d come to expect from a brand like flume. Easily cut thick long wet grass for the first cut of the season. Assembly is very simple and the storage configurations will suit all.
A good little mower, lightweight, suitable for small to medium sized gardens. The cable that comes with the mower is only 10 meters long, an extension might be neccessary for some people. The mower is easy to push and to handle, adjusting the cutting height however needa strong hands, the front and back wheels both have to be adjusted slotting into one of the 3 slots (height) setting. Leaving it in the middle slot (medium length cut) gives a neat trim. The grass collecting box is of a reasonable size and very easy to put on remove and empty. I like this mower.

Lots of plastic but fairly robust - assembly is a challenge, but worth the hassle.
Some of the instructions are very ambiguous using terms like left and right (doesn’t state that it is looking from the front), blade shows anti-clockwise arrows but doesn’t say if that is for tightening or loosening (should be anti clockwise to remove blade).
Grass box seems flimsy when in pieces but is fairly robust once assembled.
Decent cut once you have got it together.
good value
my lawn is not the best lumps and bumps here and there but this does the job and cuts the grass well, when i bought it i didn’t know you get a strimmer with it so that was a bonus.
Great job
There is a bit of a job assembling the mower, that is the grey part that catches the grass, pushing the top and bottom together can be difficult as it’s rather to flexible and when you get one side in then try to put the other side in the opposite side can pop out, but with a bit of patience it all comes together and the mower is a great little powerful mower, arrived on time with all the bits intact.
Great mowe
I needed a lightweight mower for my small garden and this is ideal. It was easy to put together. Just a few bolts here and there and simple to use. Not too expensive either.
Good value for money.
Really lightweight mower with height adjuster. Got a little peep window to grass collector to check when it is time to empty. Safety controls for switching on. Long power cable but not long enough for me at 10m. Grass roller to the rear helps make stripes on tour lawn. Plastic Feels a little cheap…could be better quality but does the job well enough.
Looks like it will be okay
Mower and handles went together easily….
Grass collector is a pain….. moulding is wierd.
Cheap Chinese manufacturing.
But all in all seems okay….only used once.
Everyone avoid.anything macllister. They are dreadful. Good look mowing
Really light compared to my last mower. Does a good job. Instructions for assembly are confusing and the cable is pretty short. Have to use an extension to get to the corners of my, not massive, lawn.

A good machine but ....
Ok I chose this product as my flymo hover broke but I made a mistake.its a brilliant machine but wasnt for me I prefer the flymo hover 280 it is easier to manoeuvre and does a better cut but each to their own choice .
Great. Fixes the shortcomings of my previous
Had a very similar Flymo that my daughter borrowed. I wished that that one had a roller, central height adjust, 4m longer cable and a easy way to wrap the cable up. So I bought this. The cable could still do with being 4m longer but otherwise great. I was satisfied with my previous but this gave me almost everything I wanted by way of improvement. I just use an extender cable each time. Which does allow me to use my strimmer all the way around as well. Overall very good.
Excellent value
Arrived very quickly. Have now used it twice (on 2 different height settings) and find it easy to use and cuts well. Grass cuttings caught very nicely in the grass box as the design is really well thought out with the extra collection lip close to the cutting edge. Lost a star for assembly as the grass box was quite difficult to put together (really needs 3 pairs of hands) and should be made upon a soft service to prevent surface damage. Other than that, really pleased with the mower.
Ideal for small garde
I would class our grassed area as medium – my husband small. Whilst it did manage quite well, it is narrower than our previous Flymo and thus meant many more trips up and down the garden – I would certainly say suitable for a small garden but not medium.
Putting the mower together itself wasn’t too bad but the grass box…. ensure you do not attempt to put this together in the presence of children, do not have any heavy object at hand that you may be tempted to throw through the nearest window and do not attempt at all if suffering from high blood pressure. Other than the fact it is quite flimsy when in two separate halves, it is practically impossible to match all the notches up together without the other half moving and not helped by the instructions warning that you must get this right as you only get one go at it. It took me a whole weekend to put the grass box together though I must admit that once I succeeded, then this is far better than the one on our old machine. It holds much more grass and is far easier to put back onto the mower after emptying as the shoot is attached to the box so automatically lines up when putting back on.
Overall – lightweight, works well but cutting blade is quite narrow – would only recommend for a small garden.
Very pleased with purchase
We had a small hover type flymo with the plastic blades in the past which was OK, but this one is so much better.
It cuts really well and as the wife said, “the grass seems to grow back better”
Assembly almost defeated me
Clipping the grassbox together? Nightmare! Get the tabs lined up, press them together, they ping apart. That part took me ten minutes. Having two assistants might have helped! It would make a great competitive pub game!
The mower? That’s fine. Cut some grass, and even vacuumed up a load of leaves. Bonzer!
Cuts the grass and easy to store
Instructions were not the best but I got there in the end. Heavier than my last mower but I knew that before I ordered it the details and specifications in the item description were all correct and it cuts the grass just fine, easy to store and a good price. So no complaints here.
The mower was fairly easy to assemble and I managed to complete the task without help. I found it very light in weight compared to my old Bosch mower which was comparable in size. This gave an impression that the mower lacked substance and felt a bit cheap. Initially the mower seemed to bounce around a lot and didn’t cut the grass as closely as I had hoped. However when my old Bosch mower was dismantled for disposal we found a 2kg metal weight inside the casing…..a bit of a naughty way of giving the impression of solidity! I now use this weight tucked safely behind the ‘handle’ on the body of the Flymo mower. This extra weight stops the bounce and results in a better cut. Perhaps Flymo should copy Bosch’s cheat ??
A bit too lightweight.

Does what.its supposed to
I luv this little mower .I’m 74 and can handle it with ease .grandson put it together grass box was a little awkward but managed it
Grassbox holds a lot and it doesn’t spill.out even when grass is long and wet.
Buy if your low on budget & smallish law
Bought this when my old Flymo rotary died on me, does all it say’s, good mower, but for me & my lawn the 30″ cut is small, & the blade could drop a bit lower, would be great for small/medium’ish garden, doesn’t edge well either, also not sure there’s a replacement blade available??, all of this mean’s extra mowing. I’m saving now for a 32″ next spring. It was easy to assemble.

Compact and lightweight.
It’s a neat compact machine which cuts well. I live on my own and found the grass collection box very difficult to assemble. Eventually had to get a friend to hold parts while I tried to slot it into correct shape.
The mower is a good price and value for money.
Flymo lawnmowe
It’s everything that they say This is my third one and all have been excellent and Very light one of the reasons I have bought them as I cut my lawn and then lift it onto a 4 foot hedge to do next doors Would highly recommend to everyone
Looks very sma
It was not too bad to put together, but 1of the handles did not have a hole to put the fixtures through so we had to get a friend to make a hole for us. With the roller at the back of it it makes it harder to push
Works well, but assembling not so easy.
Bought to replace an earlier Flymo that died. Attaching the handle was easy, but assembling the grass box is a real pain. The top and bottom clip together, but getting all the slots together at the same time is both impossible and vocabulary expanding. Fortunately my husband decided to see if the grass box on our old machine fitted, and it does so I was able to abandon the attempt.
Once assembled it’s a good machine, easily tackling our somewhat overgrown back lawn.
Different from the Flymo Hover range
This is the first time, my husband and I got a Flymo that has wheels, as previously we just got the hovers. My husband has only used it once so far, due to the weather, so far he claims it’s ok.
However he feels that there could be more choices for the grass cutter functions, as there are only 3 heights. At first we thought there was a lever at the side, unfortunately not, as you have to be strong enough to alter the back and front wheel bars to the position you need.
The grass back came in sections, and the instructions were not clear enough to advise of how to put the grass box together. Again, it requires strength to do so.
So lightweigh
I absolutely love this lawnmower!! Replaced a reasonably modern flymo with this because health issue meant I found the flymo heavy work. This lawnmower is so easy to manoeuvre around the garden & means that it is no longer a dreaded chore! The grass box seemed very flimsy when I was assembling it & took a little but of working out for fitting to the the mower but once I’d played around with it for 10 mins it was sturdy & solid & it was ready to go. It cuts the grass well & it collects it all so no sweeping up. No regrets with purchase at all
What’s not to like ticked all my boxes for a lawnmower!
Had a similar model bought many years ago and has only recently broken. Having reviewed many new models On line I decided to purchase this one again and have not been disappointed. It is lightweight to manoeuvre and easy to assemble. Produces nice stripes on lawn. Height can be adjusted quite easily.
Excellent manoeuvrability
This is a lightweight mower, which should assist in moving around the garden. Because it is quite small, there is no need to fold the handle down – it fits into the shed easily and I just wheel it out and start cutting! The cutting heights are very good – I like my grass quite short, so use the 3rd height up. Personally, I had a few difficulties putting the grass box together, which took a while and needed 2 to get the connections correctly aligned so that the two large halves of the lawn box fitted correctly. Overall, a very good mower. I wish I had replaced my old one with this earlier.

Fantastic!
This is a great little mower, easy to use easy to change height of cut -even for me with Arthritis . We have a bigger petrol mower, too heavy for me to even turn on, so I bought this to enable me to cut the lawns when I want not when OH can find time. I cut our large lawn yesterday, no problem , even on the uneven bits ,and very easy to empty the grass out afterwards. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with a larger mower . I seriously can’t fault it!
Good mower.
I have only used this lawnmower once but up to now I am very pleased with it. It is nicely balanced and very easy to carry, I also own a Bosch lawnmower and I think the flymo has the edge over my Bosch one. I can recommend this mower as it is good value for money.
Awesome lightweight and cuts right to the edge don’t need to use a strimmer x very impressed
Very Good Purchase
Overall very pleased with the mower, the large grass box is excellent and the 38 cms blade cuts right up the the lawn edges. On the minus side, the length of the lead is just too short for my lawns. It would be a good idea and added value as well as a necessary safety device’ to fit as standard, an anti surge plug, just in case you accidentally ran over the live lead.
Delivery was a nightmare, I received an ‘Electric Fan’ instead of the ‘Lawn Mower’ and had to send it back before being able to take delivery of my original order. This all took over three weeks, which is highly unsatisfactory.
I chose this lawnmower initially because I always thought that Flymo was a good trusted manufacturer. As I had owned Flymo items in the 1980s, which lasted years. ( My Flymo strimmer is still going strong 40 yrs on) I was initially attracted to this one because it had a roller and my mission was to get stripes on my lawn.
When I unboxed I was surprised how flimsy it was. But nevertheless I proceeded with assembly which was very easy. Apart from the handle of the grass collection box which almost snapped as I tried to slot the handle in. this was very plasticy.
Eventually all plugged in and off I go. I checked the height of the wheels underneath (highest setting) noticed that the rear roller was plastic. Grass was pretty long (4 inches) but it coped ok. Edge to edge of grass was cut tight and neat, and mower completed the cutting great, and even. I then decided that the stripes were not that noticeable. The grass wasn’t pushed forward by the roller all that was visible was the tracks from the wheels. So I put the mower upside down and lowered the setting to medium. What a dangerous nightmare that was. Obviously after unplugging I had to yank the wheels to move them into a lower slot. How dangerous it was almost jamming my fingers in the axel as the springs are so tight. Now Medium height (3 height modes on this model) off I go again. Still no stripes. Fed up, Wound cable into floppy cable hooks,. Put mower away. One week later started again. This time on lowest cutting mode. This mode I found it too short to create stripes. But annoyingly, the mower cut out twice. I checked everything…plugs. Connection. Dead. When I turned upside down I also noticed the paint on blade was peeling off. So that was my cue to return it.
However I give It 4 stars because…
It’s light
It’s easy to assemble
It’s nippy round the lawn and not an effort at all to push though any length of grass. The cable is not long but hey that’s a good thing because there’s no continual winding on the hooks. (Why can’t someone invent a cable that springs back like some vaccum cleaners?) Lolol
I have bought 300R again hoping this time it won’t go dead on me!
Happy mowing everyone 🙂
I chose this lawnmower initially because I always thought that Flymo was a good trusted manufacturer. As I had owned Flymo items in the 1980s, which lasted years. ( My Flymo strimmer is still going strong 40 yrs on) I was initially attracted to this one because it had a roller and my mission was to get stripes on my lawn.

Happy mowing everyone 🙂
Our last mower final broke down after about 15 years.
I guess we trust the Flymo brand so preferred it over other cheaper options. We wanted the 32 cm cutting width mower but it had sold out, so for an extra 15 we bought this one at 92.
Went for electric corded mower as worried still about the battery life of a battery pack mower, and it adds another 60 or more to the price. Although the Flymo Mighti-Mo is on sale for 150, here on Amazon.
A small and nimble mower that hardly takes up any room in the shed. The dull orange colour is not bad. The 10 metre electric cable is long enough for our garden. The cuttings collect neatly in the box.

Cut Close
All good for a small average lawn but downside the settings do not allow a shorter cut and of coarse if you wish to have stripes not the machine to have. The service of delivery excellent and the packaging. Did suggest to the manufacture to supply two screw on brackets one for each spare of the handles so you could wind the power cable on when storing.. With two jubilee clips and two door coat hangers modified my own. Yes quite running.
Lightweight and easy to use
This is a small lightweight self propelled electric lawnmower. It was delivered well packed and was reasonably simple to assemble. The grass collection box comes in two halves which are meant to clip together using plastic tabs in recesses, but you get one side clicked in and when you try to click the other half in the ‘done’ side pops out! It is really frustrating. However I managed it. Adjusting the height of the cut is simple as the wheels are mounted on rods and adjustment is by lifting the rods into one of the three little plastic recesses, takes a little bit of strength though. All in all good for small lawns.
Light weight, easy to use.
Was very easy to assemble, no tools required. It is so light you can pick it up with one hand and go for a little walk to the end of your garden.
Good for small to medium gardens. Gets pretty close to the fence, though you will still need a strimmer.
Very easy to manoeuvre around the garden, had no problems going up and down the garden with it.
The wheels have adjustable height, so depending on how short or long you want your grass, just turn the mower blade up (unplug from mains first) and pull then push each wheel to where you want it. Please make sure all wheels are on the same height else you will have a wobbly lawn mower. (Mistake I made) . End result a very tidy cut lawn.
The grass box seems very flimsy it takes a steady hand to line each half up and snap together, would not advice a heavy hand. But once you have connected the two halves, it fits very easy to the back of the mower, just lift the flap at the back, clip the grass box on and let the flap rest on the box. And you are good to go
Lawn mower was very easy to clean after, i used a small hand brush to get behind the blade and in the little gaps and clean off the wheels. .
As I don’t have a shed at the moment I store the mower in the box it arrived in. Just folded down the handles and put back in the box with the grass box on top.
Happy gardening.
Better for small garde
I used the lawnmower for the first time today.
It was easy enough to assemble, although the grass box was a bit fiddly.
I think I have underestimated the size of my garden. Or maybe its because its the first cut of the season, but the grass box needed emptying a lot.
I don’t like the start safety button in the middle, it’s a bit awkward. I noticed the blade was blunted after use. This was from going over stones, so check your lawn for debris before use.
It was light weight and cut the grass ok, and was relatively cheap.
I’ll see if it lasts the summer. Fingers crossed.
Ideal mowe
I borrowed one these from my son and liked it so much I bought one. I’ve given my old hover mower away, which collected the cuttings but equally made a mess. I still need a broom but nowhere near as much. This mower cuts right up the edges against fences and our rotary dryer, no need for a seperate trimmer. It’s lightweight and pretty quiet as well.
Decent mower for the price.
If you want the fastest mower which will produce football out h stripes then this is not for you. But if you are looking for an inexpensive lawnmower which cuts all but extremely long grass then this will do the job
An easy to use lawnmower which cuts the grass really well
It is a really easy to use lawnmower and is just right for my medium sized garden. The grass collecting box can hold plenty of grass and I would recommend it. I just found when changing the cutting heights on the wheels, a little hard.
Needed a mower as I just moved house and this seemed to fit the bill. It’s easy to assemble although prepare to get some bruises putting the grass box together! When I looked closer at the state of my very overgrown, wet lawn, it resembled a ploughed field more than a bowling green and I wondered if this little mower would be up to the job. I have to say that it coped extremely well – would definitely recommend!
Easy to use mower bought for an older female who has problems with arthritis and was frustrated at not being able to cut the grass herself! She is really pleased as this mower is much easier than a hovermo or some similar product that she had previously. It gave her some independence and joy of her garden back after a few years! It is still a bit weighty but she is able to use it.
I only have small grassed areas and so far has done what it’s supposed to without any hassle. Grass box is bigger than my last one which is a bonus. I’ve seen some negative comments about assembling the grass collection box, this is mystifying. It took this clumsy oaf about a minute.
Like any electrical product, it remains to be seen whether it will still be around in a couple of years. Right now I’m very happy with it.
Brilliant budget mowe
Don’t know how I put up with my old lawnmower for so long. Constant blocked hole, grass flying everywhere and not making it into the grass box. This thing is brilliant. Goes with ease. Bought with wheels as we have an uneven garden and it is just a pleasure to push. I genuinely can’t find a fault with it. Picks up the grass easily. Simple to empty (no fiddling about with getting the grass box to stay on) my only niggle is that it is quite long so takes a lot of space in the shed and could do with a longer wire. An extention sorts that problem though.
I have a small bit of lawn. This is perfect. The cord is long enough to reach out to my little patch, and there is quite a lot of extra cord that needs winding whilst mowing, not a problem, just pointing out, long cord. I haven’t measured it and will not be doing so. Any questions technical please ask seller. If you want to know does it cut the grass, yes and the cutting collection bin took all my patch before filling up. It’s lightweight too. Happy me.
This is a good little mower. It is cheap so don’t expect professional landscaping equipment.
We have a small bit of grass and I had enough cutting it with the trimmer so ordered one of these. It is easy to assemble and light to push around. The only thing I found a bit flimsy is the collector thing which seems pretty weak.
I gave it 4 stars because it feels cheap but I spent 50 quod so what else can I expect? It is ok for what I need but any larger garden would need something more beefy.
For the price, this is a really good lawnmower!
Prior to that and because we have a small garden here, we had tried a Bosch AHM 38 G Manual Garden Lawn Mower, which was only a couple of pounds cheaper. Boy did that misfire! The Bosch manual mower was just painful to use and would randomly clog or tear up entire pieces off of our lawn every couple of meters. We returned it after the first try and decided we should try to do things properly and get an electric lawnmower, especially as there was not much of a price difference.
We eventually chose that Flymo Easimo mower and couldn’t be happier!
– adjusting the cutting height is really easy and requires no tool whatsoever.
– the product is quite safe and you have to press 2 buttons to get it on.
– the blade cuts relatively close to the edge.
– great cut quality even on a slightly damp / humid lawn (we just tried today).
– the mower feels light and is easy to push up and down your garden. Our garden has a bit of a slope in some area and the mower goes everywhere without any issue.
– emptying the grassbox is also quite easy. The grassbox is not huge but it will compact grasses there and therefore for the volume, the grassbox can accommodate quite a lot of grasses.
– the noise level generated by the mower is more than acceptable and it’s not one of those mowers you feel you have to wear earplugs to use.
On the downside:
– the cable is a bit short. Our garden is small and we have to use an extension to be able to go all the way to the end.
– not sure if that’s how it’s meant to be but I find the bolts used to attached the handle somewhat flimsy and you can’t really tighten them, or at least not as much as I wish I could.
– the lawnmower is somewhat imbalanced. With a full grassbox (and the grassbox gets full quickly), the lawnmower tilts backwards under its own weight.
Overall a great product and very happy with it.
Brilliant. For years I used a flymo hover machine, thinking it was lighter than a wheeled lawn mower. As I have a very bad back I needed to ensure that mowing was not too heavy. My neighbour let me try her turbo version of the wheeled mower and I realised how easy it could be. So I bought this one, as I only have a small lawn, and it is a pleasure to use. Even changing the height is simple and my lawn has never looked so good. It is only a narrow cut so if you have a medium sized laden I think a wider mowing surface would be better. But for me this one is just what I needed, and as it wheels into the shed, no more lifting to carry it in.
Good mower.
Cuts really well and has the power to deal with longer grass. Metal blade makes this so much better than plastic bladed mowers. Only problem is when the grass is being collected by the basket, there is an imbalance of weight which means if you leave the mower it will fall back so the front wheels are up in the air. No big problem, just keep on mowing and tip out the grass when the basket it full.
Review
Easy to assemble, very good value for money and does the job well !
My girlfriend was saying that the mower was too small for the garden but she was soon proved wrong (again).
I was done cutting the grass in double quick time and I hate doing the garden.
Overall very pleased with this purchase as I can now spend my time going to the football at Wembley this weekend instead of wasting my time in the garden. I just need someone to paint the fence for me now and steal our dog (which pi**es on the floor daily, or worse) and i’ll be a happy chap.
So, 5 stars to this Flymo. Go on treat yourself to one.

Good item for the money….. nice and light which was what I wanted and easy to manage. We haven’t had the weather for a good test yet – but looks good.
If I have any criticism it is that the grass-box is unnecessarily clumsy to put together. It comes in two parts, and the top fits to the bottom by 10 clips situated INSIDE the box!! This is a design fault which needs addressing. (The air was blue in my house!)
Excellent carrier……. quick and efficient delivery.
