Used for DIY and has been really easy to use with a good battery life. Blades supplied are good quality too!

I was originally looking at a cordless DeWalt saw. It was three times the price, so thought I’d take a punt on this. It is remarkable value for money and does everything I wanted. Great build quality, super powerful, effortless control and accuracy and the laser guide is a real godsend! If you are pondering a cordless saw on a budget, this is definitely it!

Cracking piece of kit does exactly what it says on the box
Only gripe it the battery life is extremely poor and price of a bigger one is ridiculous SORT THAT OUT !

Was a bit reserved about this but was very surprised at the ease of using it, cracking bit of kit , so simple to use and battery lasts for a good while, can’t fault it, one of the best buys in a long time, excellent quality well made, saves the potch of running out cables and such.

Needed a new saw to replace my previous one, but the new saw needed to be able to cut thin materials. Reading the specification for this item it would seem to be ideal.
Recieveing the item the next day it was soon put to work, achieving what I hoped was an exceptable results.
Machine is much lighter and easier to handle and with a bit more practice over a range of material I believe the saw will be an additional bonus to the workshop.

    Nice bit of kit.
However, do not rely on the extractor function to remove all cutting residue. Even with a high power vacuum-cleaner attached, only some of the ‘dust’ was extracted.

I purchased this item as I needed to cut out Square piece of plywood from floor and I didn’t have access to electricity. It did the job but battery isn’t enough strong to do it for long time. Plywood was approximately 2cm thick and some of the parts were rotten. For small and quick jobs it is perfect but not for big projects. For that I have electric circular saw. The laser works perfectly and change of the blade is easy. I’m giving 4 stars as I would be more happy if battery would be stronger.

Light. Handy. Easy to use when electric one can’t be used. Bought for allotment but already used it at a friend’s house.

When I found this I was skeptical battery powered would it be any good. I can tell you now this is brilliant, I’ve used it for ceramic tiles, wood and even cutting some previously laid ply (22mm). As long as you have the same right disc this thing does it all. Now for the down side the battery is 2.0mah as a result you’re not going to be able to work all day with one battery. I found it was able to do around 2m ceramic cuts 11mm thick. 6-8m wood and 4-5m 22mm ply, the recharge time was decent and as I bought a second product I had 2 so I was able to swap between them. I dont think this is meant for trade people but if you’re doing some diy and need one I’d recommend it!

Nice little cordless saw. Fine for taking rips off 18mm boards and rough cutting 4×2 to length. However 22mm chipboard and ply defeated it. To be expected I suppose but was hoping for better.

To be honest I’m really struggling to see why there are so many negative reviews about this little saw. I started to use it today for the first time and I’ve never used it before and it came with a nice 2ah charging pack slightly bigger than the one that’s standard on the photo and I think this seems to be the case these days but you will not be disappointed with this saw it has been absolutely exemplary.

Furthermore the issue regarding the laser-guided light works fine and it’s pretty accurate within 1 mm or so again I don’t know what all the negative reviews are about but saw has cut through a number of decking planks for me still has lots of charge left and as made easy work of the decking it also had the ability for me to do a drop cut you have to be careful with this as you have to leave the blade guard up but I managed to get the saw into the decking and created easy work for myself going along 7 planks with no issues at all

There is no issue with the charging as per previous review as you simply plug the DC plug adapter into the battery. No faffing or breaking possible.

it’s super light and the battery pack charges very quickly from the mains. I definitely will be using this as my go to circular saw for future use for day-to-day cuts and anything larger will have to be used with the larger circular saw which is mains operated

I do agree that in some respects they’ve tried to keep the cost down by using for example the plastic instead of metal when you’re aligning the cutting width and you can see there are a little bit of plastic around the item rather than actually maybe stainless steel but this is cosmetic and to be honest for occasional use the diyer highly recommend it and moreover it allows you to cut thicker pieces of wood which is typically not the case with most mini circular saws as you will see on Amazon if you look at their cutting depth

I have no hesitation in recommending this produc

The laser guide light never worked from the start, I should’ve returned it, but having said that it has a cutting depth greater than most and works well.

I think some if the negative reviews must be from people try to push the saw rather than guiding it. If you push it will cut out. It is a small saw for small jobs…. however I need a replacement battery after only a year and that was harder than I would have liked to find….!!! Kind of ridiculous.

Seems pretty good so far, but disruption says, it comes with 1 wood blade and one HSS blade. But they were both wood. Can’t contact seller direct, and not worth sending back.

The saw is well made and cuts reasonably well for its size. The battery life let’s it down though. Wish I’d bought a larger capacity battery or even a spare as on bigger jobs I had to wait on a recharge

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersDespite negative comments I decided to buy this item. I’m glad I did. I can only think people were using it wrongly or had ulterior motives for negative comments. It works brilliantly. The supplied battery was better than advertised – 2.00 Ah instead of 1.3 Ah. It lasts well, recharges well. I also have 2 spare batteries from Galax Pro multitool (also works well despite negative comments). Overall I’m very pleased.

Instruction booklet is a little vague.
It looks like the blade should spin the other way for a neater top surface cut. But over all its half the price of a worx saw and does the same job..nice cheap altenative.
