My 5 year old son loved it. Results were achieved fast enough to keep his attention. He didn’t understand the science but he felt like a scientist and enjoyed trying to record in the notebook and loved the professor sticker. Lots of reviews say that you need cornflour and PVA but this is only if you want to go on and make your own slime at the end. I wouldn’t bother doing this with a five year old. Better to wait and let them make proper slime when they are a bit older (about 8). I thought it was well thought out and ideal for a five or six year old. He was falling around laughing with the noise putty.

Could do with bigger packs so you could do 2 goes of making it.incase you spill the powder.or drop dish .

There wasnt much to this experiment set but my 6 year old enjoyed it.
Whislt it lasted it was great fun, BUT the goo went everywhere, clothes jeans table cloth, but the kids liked it so much
Brought this for a Christmas present so not opened yet but seems good for the price and I no doubt know my little one will enjoy it and have loads of fu
It’s fine, though if I paid full price I might be a bit annoyed. We have the rainbow lab and that is excellent, you can use the pieces again and again and all the consumables take ages to run out. By comparison this was a bit of a flash in the pan, still good, but if you haven’t got the rainbow lab already, buy that instead.
This is a great activity and very engaging. We enjoyed playing with the slime,then making our own.
Really happy with this purchase and happy to recommend to others.
Bought as a Christmas present so haven’t tried it yet but had others and been very happy with the quality. Hopefully the parents will be equally happy when my grandchildren receive it this Christmas (2021)!!!
We played with this for hours.
The instructions are easy and fun to follow.
You can use the putty and slime again and again.
My 6 year old grandson told me I’m the best for buying it.
Can not wait for our next sleepover.

This was a gift for my 7 year old cousin and he absolutely loves it. Not sure his mum would agree.
My little girl loved this kit. Great fun activity for a rainy day, or a good gift for a friend’s birthday. Plus the slime lasts for ages so the fun continues!
Loved doing these experiments with grandchildren … 6 in box total , well worth it for price , kept them occupied for a couple of hours ,, and very educational ( they both love slime ) …definitely buy as gift but does need parental guidance for mixing

This was the hit of Christmas for a small relative. He will not stop talking about it. Some slimes are ready made and some you make up yourself, hours of entertainment! Literally. The glow in the dark one is a good favourite. Now being used for slimer’s slime in the Ghost Busters fire station haha.
It just has everything that a young girl aged 10 would want with slime. Well impressed
Dubious at first as brought as a birthday gift and wasn’t sure if it would be good enough. Me and the kids loved making our own slime, bug/alien and putty.
It is ok. Some of the project in the booklet was a bit inaccurate or missing details so we wasted some PVA glue and needed to throw away all. But the slime came with in the box was mostly fine. However some of the project to do with slime was again a bit not practical or does not quite work or do not look very interesting enough for my daughter ( 10 year old). But she had some fun time so I would say around 4 stars. Not so bad but not that great either…
I bought this for a four year olds birthday and he loved it. One if his favourites apparently. An interesting gift for any young child. Excellent value.

Kept little man busy for a while, id say it’s more just creating the slime and putty rather then play with it as it’s quite small amounts if that makes sense

The cost does not equal the experience of making the slime. However my daughter has really enjoyed playing with the slime once it’s been made. It’s not been as involved as other Galt Science lab boxes I have bought, you literally pour water on some powder and wait for it to turn into slime.
Brilliant little kit my 5 year old has loved it as part of her home schooling during lockdown!
One little niggle is there doesnt seem to be a pen or a pencil in the world thay works on the name tags.

Kids love this so much had fun making all the experiments and still got alll the slime in containers so can use other days and even has recipe for making slime
Me and my little lad aged 7 loved this! Great fun and he still has all his slime to play with in great containers that come with the kit! Would be a great gift.
Easy to follow, with 6 different types of slime to make or experiment with. A little messy so lay out newspaper or plastic table cloth and wear aprons. We made all of the slimes quite quickly but took up a morning and my children are still enjoying playing with the slime. Would recommend.

The kids really enjoyed this and it inspires creative learning. There was only a few experiments in the kit which was a shame as we had completed it in an hour but they enjoyed it all the same

Cool, educational and fun. Slime is the current rage with kids and getting to know how it works is good for them.
Good but not perfect. Some of the slime did’t quite come out at the right texture but it was fun regardless
Mostly we’ve tried to make our own slime following Youtube videos, with varying degrees of success, or buying ready made from the shops.
This is much better, as you are able to follow concise instructions which obviously fit in with the materials and ingredients you are given.
Particularly good are:
– Making a slime slug in the mould
– Making your own slime
– Glow in the dark slime
The only criticism I have (from an adult’s perspective) is that the samples and ingredient sizes are quite small. But my 8 year old daughter didn’t think so!
My 7 yr old and my 4 yr old love this. One has even asked for it again for fresh tubs.
