Perfect for 5 year old fu
My 5 year old son loved it. Results were achieved fast enough to keep his attention. He didn’t understand the science but he felt like a scientist and enjoyed trying to record in the notebook and loved the professor sticker. Lots of reviews say that you need cornflour and PVA but this is only if you want to go on and make your own slime at the end. I wouldn’t bother doing this with a five year old. Better to wait and let them make proper slime when they are a bit older (about 8). I thought it was well thought out and ideal for a five or six year old. He was falling around laughing with the noise putty.

The rainbow lab is bette
It’s fine, though if I paid full price I might be a bit annoyed. We have the rainbow lab and that is excellent, you can use the pieces again and again and all the consumables take ages to run out. By comparison this was a bit of a flash in the pan, still good, but if you haven’t got the rainbow lab already, buy that instead.
Easy to follow instructions and interactive activities.
This is a great activity and very engaging. We enjoyed playing with the slime,then making our own.

Bought as a Christmas present so haven’t tried it yet but had others and been very happy with the quality. Hopefully the parents will be equally happy when my grandchildren receive it this Christmas (2021)!!!

The instructions are easy and fun to follow.
You can use the putty and slime again and again.
My 6 year old grandson told me I’m the best for buying it.

This was the hit of Christmas for a small relative. He will not stop talking about it. Some slimes are ready made and some you make up yourself, hours of entertainment! Literally. The glow in the dark one is a good favourite. Now being used for slimer’s slime in the Ghost Busters fire station haha.

Dubious at first as brought as a birthday gift and wasn’t sure if it would be good enough. Me and the kids loved making our own slime, bug/alien and putty.
It is good but could be better. Some project is not executable.
It is ok. Some of the project in the booklet was a bit inaccurate or missing details so we wasted some PVA glue and needed to throw away all. But the slime came with in the box was mostly fine. However some of the project to do with slime was again a bit not practical or does not quite work or do not look very interesting enough for my daughter ( 10 year old). But she had some fun time so I would say around 4 stars. Not so bad but not that great either…

Good but not grea
The cost does not equal the experience of making the slime. However my daughter has really enjoyed playing with the slime once it’s been made. It’s not been as involved as other Galt Science lab boxes I have bought, you literally pour water on some powder and wait for it to turn into slime.

One little niggle is there doesnt seem to be a pen or a pencil in the world thay works on the name tags.

Needs adult supervision for mixing chemicals. Sometimes slime turns out too watery. Glow in the dark slime works as does the bouncing putty. Caterpillar slime had the most unpleasant chemical smell causing a headache, which had to be binned. Overall children enjoyed making and playing with the slime.

Me and my little lad aged 7 loved this! Great fun and he still has all his slime to play with in great containers that come with the kit! Would be a great gift.
Easy instructions and my four year old loved it!
Easy to follow, with 6 different types of slime to make or experiment with. A little messy so lay out newspaper or plastic table cloth and wear aprons. We made all of the slimes quite quickly but took up a morning and my children are still enjoying playing with the slime. Would recommend.

Brought during black friday so great price. Was worried it would be like many others we have seen or brought, those with little contents making it very poor value. However not the case here. Even at full price its great value. You get a good amount of product for your money. Arrived same day, before 10pm as promised. Well packaged for travel so arrived in great cosmetic condition.

The kids really enjoyed this and it inspires creative learning. There was only a few experiments in the kit which was a shame as we had completed it in an hour but they enjoyed it all the same

Slime time
Cool, educational and fun. Slime is the current rage with kids and getting to know how it works is good for them.
Our 5 year old absolutely loved this. Not sure it was worth the money – but I am sure he would disagree
Slime and putty has been popular in our house for the last couple of years (and I don’t mean just to hold the old windows in!).
Mostly we’ve tried to make our own slime following Youtube videos, with varying degrees of success, or buying ready made from the shops.
This is much better, as you are able to follow concise instructions which obviously fit in with the materials and ingredients you are given.
Particularly good are:
– Making a slime slug in the mould
– Making your own slime
– Glow in the dark slime
The only criticism I have (from an adult’s perspective) is that the samples and ingredient sizes are quite small. But my 8 year old daughter didn’t think so!
Fun and messy
Good but not perfect. Some of the slime did’t quite come out at the right texture but it was fun regardless
Mein Sohn (9) hat dieses Set zu Weihnachten bekommen, zusammen mit dem Chemielabor welches er auerdem bekommen hat, ist er nun schon gute 2 Stunden beschftigt damit verschiedene Schleims zu kreieren und auszuprobieren. Es gibt Wasserschleim, Bouncy Putty, Gummikfer etc. Einige Schleims leuchten, andere machen freche Gerusche wenn man sie ins Glas drckt. Wir haben noch nicht alle ausprobiert, sind aber schon sehr begeistert.

Bought for our 9 year old daughter’s birthday party. The kids loved it and much fun was had by all. Great quality product.
My nephew (5yrs) loved this. Please be aware that there are a number of items that it assumes you have in the house to be able to do all the experiments.
My 6 year old got this as a present and we had loads of fun with it – much more successful than some other science kits we’ve tried, and most of the experiments can be done with just water. There’s one recipe for slime which uses just household ingredients to try once the kit is used up to too, which is nice.
Looks like great fun, has been bought as a xmas present, delivered quickly.

I ordered this toy as a Christmas present so it hasin’t been used yet but i looked inside and i can see that my granddaughter will have lots of fun playing with this ,she loves making things from scratch and this toy is just right for her .
