Tried several others, but should have gone with this all along. Love it.
You can set the angle up to 360 degrees and adjust the distance . You can also attach an additional one so that it covers a greater area. A fantastic buy. Really pleased with it.
This is a bit fiddly to set up at first to get the right distance and spread but once done it’s great. I used to have the sprinkler that goes side to side which i have to keep moving in order to cover all the garden. With this sprinkler I can set it to full circle and get it done in half the time and far less hassle.
Great quality and ability to alter the spray shape, direction and profiles but the actual droplet pattern is not so brilliant. Takes longer to soak the area compared to my older Gardena model.
Product is sturdy and well made. Easy to set up and adjust and even with low water pressure it covered a diameter of 18m.
Finer spray gives more even coverage but reduces distance.
All in all very pleased.

Super sprinkler, lovely fine spray that won’t wash away new seedlings. Excellent control with turn of the tap. Take no notice of rude comment from unhappy contributor, obviously has poor water pressure.
It’s a little cheap and only adjustment is how much you turn the tap on but it seems to work ok and do what i needed..
Ideal sprinkler if you want a quiet gentle irrigation . Adjusts to the area you need. I have been using this sprinkler model for years . Excellent product.

Seems ok but doesn’t distribute the water as I’d expected. Does the job though.
Does what is says on the tin, bought this to water the new turf on my long but thin (15′ X 100′) back garden. it’s variable and the circle of spray can be easily controlled by the tap on the hose-line its self. I think the range of the circle of water could be from 25ft to 1ft according to pressure through my tap. Simple and easy to use, nice.
We’ve just had a large area of grass cut down and a wildflower meadow planted. Our old and rather flimsy oscillating sprinkler wasn’t up to the job of daily watering, so we opted for this Gardena pulse sprinkler. Initial impressions are good. It’s solidly constructed with an adequately weighty base, and there are controls for the inclination of the water pulse and the rotation of the spread. Seeing it in operation is more satisfying than our previous sprinkler and overall it’s probably covering twice the area. A good buy for a large garden.

You need good water pressure as if I run a tap at the same time it stops rotating so there is nothing wrong with it
Works brilliantly
Works really well you plug it in and a giant circle of water sprays out. One note of caution I bought two to daisy chain them and the second did not work. I don’t know if that was water pressure or a fault but I have taken a star off for that.
This sprayer is fab, A little expensive to buy but worth it in the long run, I expect it to last for alot of years as its solid and well made, Sprays brilliant with good coverage
We wanted a spray attachment that we could control in flower beds rather than one that covers a large area of say lawn. This product proved to be really good for how we wanted to use it.
Very happy with this product. I got this product as I previously had the hozelock oscillating arc type, but the arm kept getting stuck in one position. I have a normal semi-detached house sized garden (~70 sqm) with a patio covering a quarter of it. This sprinkler covers the each of the other quarters one at a time on full power with quite a bit of overlap. (Could possibly achieve in 2 sections but want to get right into the corners).
The water comes out fine enough that it doesn’t shift grass seed or knock petals off flowers, and takes about 5 mins on full power to do a good watering, 10 mins for a really good soaking.
It fits the standard hozelock adapter, and is really good value for money. (Also arrived 2 days earlier than advised)
The only cons are:
– on full power (I have medium – good water pressure), where the hozelock oscillating arm would have shot out the garden, this covers 4m diameter max (which is fine for what I’m covering)
– the spike could be sharper as it sometimes struggles to get into the dryer ground
Other than that would highly recommend
Gives a fine mist in all directions, not too wide (About 3m diameter) as it is used in a triangular flower bed. Very pleased with it. Plus it is sturdy.
Rotation needs decent water pressure. Trial and error to work out where the water will spray for each setting (wear a cossie!) Spray tends to go in an elevated way falling a couple of meters from sprayer.
Probably a bit overpriced but the quality makes up for it. Sometimes you just have to pay more to get something really worthwhile. This is the highest standard. You’ll love it if you buy it. Beats all other sprinklers hands down.
This is one of the best sprinkler systems we’ve had. Trust me we’ve had a few. We have a large garden and it covers it brilliantly. Husband gives 5* and he’s critical!

This is the ultimate sprinkler. I’m so pleased with it. Upon unboxjng it is clear how well that this has been made. Extremely high standard of manufacturing, good quality materials and perfect design.
It is easy to use and set up. You can adjust it to water a precise area of grass using the angle and height adjuster. My garden is tiered with patio next to the house and a raised lawn above. I can sit on the patio below whilst my garden is watered using this and remain completely dry. You can also adjust it to water 360 degrees too.
It covers a large area.
I set it up with my Hozelock system. I’ve had that a while before I got this Gardena. I am so impressed with the quality Gardena offer I have been converted and will update my entire garden irrigation tools due to how impressed I am with this.
Finally, this sprinkler has such a satisfying noise to it.
When operational this is a very good device. However I initially fitted a stop connector in the feed. The pressure drop across this connector caused the pressure to be too low for the device to work. Changing the connector to a simple non stop type cured the probelem

Ensure your water pressure will be enough for the sprinkler, otherwise the <360 degree "function" will not work properly. When my water pressure is low, I will just leave the sprinkler on 360 degree "function".
Otherwise a great sprinkler to use in odd shapes and corners of the garden.
Wasn’t thrilled about the price (shipping costs factored in was approx. 50) however it was worth every penny. This product is solid and adjustable for all size gardens. My boyfriend was so impressed he bought one for his garden. What more do you need to know?!
Easy to use, is solidly built as it’s a fair bit heavier than previous sprinklers I’ve used. I have a big garden and this sprinkler is prefect as it covers a wide area
All in all its not a bad product. I have a lawn about 117m2 and it covers most of it partly because I have to adjust it so it doesn’t drench pavements or go into next doors garden.
My main issue for not giving 5 stars is I’ve been running it for an hour and measuring how much water it’s getting down and after an hours run it’s about 5mm of water coverage. I measured in 2 spots in between max range and at the device. After an hours running that seems a bit of a waste. My guess is most of the water is at the end of the flow towards the edge. However if I adjust anymore then the range will be significantly reduced. I will do some more checks and adjust the review if needed.
Brilliant, gives the garden a really good soak; turn the water tap up or down to control the sprinkled radius.
We have a very large garden, this sprinkler is fantastic as it rotates and covers a very wide area. It spins and goes up and down to spray the area without soaking one patch. It’s saved us so much time and we have bought another to cover another area. We’ll worth the money, strong construction and looks more expensive than it was when it’s in action. It seems highly adjustable too so you can focus on a specific area with just a few clicks.
Surprise by the quality and ease of use despite some of the negative reviews.

Easy to use, easy to adjust power….Perfect for what i needed in my garden, very happy with the first test run, adjusted the power and it covered all areas of the grass…very happy.
Feels light and fragile, but has worked well so far. Spread of water is less than expected, with a max 5m diameter. Doesn’t water directly round itself for about half a meter, but covers the ground evenly. Good value.
This unit is simply excellent. Straight out of the box without any required adjustment it works superbly and in my opinion gets better with use and familiarity of the controls. My only gripe (and not really a big one) is the lack of information relating to the ability to control the spray and spread of the water. It works great!

I live in Manchester, so buying this was always a luxury given it rains so much, but I did get to use it a handful of days last year. You can adjust how far it sprays on each side, but it’s limited to spraying in a line, so you probably need to readjust it after 10 mins if you have a square or odd shaped garden. This can be an exciting game of trying not to get wet because you’re too lazy to turn it off and on again, at least the way I do it. In fact, that little thrill is probably what makes me like it so much. If only Manchester wasn’t so wet I might actually get to that it more often.

I really like this sprinkler, its so much better than the one that I had before that just went backward and forward and had to be moved frequently to reach all the places you want it to reach. With this one it goes full 360, and you can alter the height which sends it right to the back of the garden. And it seems well made, made of metal base, no flimsly plastic. Can’t fault it really. Very pleased with this product. Definitely value for money.
Great product, I’m now on my second oscillator, the first one lasted over 5 years where as my experience with Hoselock is that they only last a couple of years. This product is built to last….and I would recommend it to anyone.

I’ve tried a dozen or so sprinklers over the years and none have been any good, especially as like a lot of people I havent got the best of water pressure. This on the other hand is fab! Easily alter the spray pattern and handles poor pressure. I will be buying another.
Over the years I’ve tried several similar lawn watering devices. All failed in some way. This device is the best yet. It provides easy control of the watering area. Can’t say much more than that. Haven’t found a fault in the way it distributes water and the way it can be configured. Would I buy it again? Definitely yes.
We have a large garden so wanted something that would water without moving sprinkler around 4 or 5 times.
I have a long relatively thin garden and it’s hard to set up a sprinkler without it hitting the fences or going over into the neighbours garden. This allows you to setup the shape of the sprinkler pattern and has worked exceptionally well. Worth a bit of extra money.

This is a great sprinkler provides a full and varying spread of water which even looks attractive when in use.
I have found Gardena products of this type to be far better quality that the other main make. This wide area sprinkler confirms that opinion. It has a full range of adjusts of front and rear angles and also side to side reach.
It is not affected unduly by a sudden reduction on water pressure, and the action is not interrupted by it, unlike our previous “other make” which would stop and not restart. Highly recommended !

Having read the reviews and looked at the pictures on the box it was easy to put into operation. This so adjustable that it is going to be a joy to use. I only hope it lasts forever.
All my previous ‘bar’ type sprinklers took three, maybe four, positions to water my whole rear garden. This Gardena will do it in two, with a LOT of over-lap. The front lawns took two position setting, this will require just the one for each of them – oh joy!
Great sprinkler, I married it up with an inline flow control tap connected to a spare 4 metre length of hose and can now easily water my front garden. The flow control tap allows me to get coverage control anywhere from 1.5 to 5 metres I can also turn it off easily when moving sprinkler position.
Good piece of kit for a small lawn. I have low pressure so have tried a few and had poor results especially with the ones with arms. They end up in the bin, but this works well. Not a super soaker so needs time to do its thing. Quiet enough to be barely noticeable.
Excellent oscillating sprinkler, covers a large area and provides fine control. Only issue I have with it is the adjustments are not accurate enough but this is a very minor point as with some testing you can get the spray to land where you want it. Will probably buy a second to pair them.

Surprising how well you can set up the sprinkler shape. You can either stick it in the middle of the garden and sprinkle forwards and backwards, as much as on an edge and pretty much sprinkle from then onwards. For best results, had to set a specific length of hose, just enough length for best water pressure.
An excellent product. Sturdy and well made, as is all Gardena equipment.. Not cheap, but worth the price paid.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the only instructions are pictographs on the carton that the sprinkler comes packed in. These images are less than clear. There are two main pairs of controls. Rotating dials that control the throw of the spray – by the way, these do not both go all the way to the top, so avoid forcing them because the stop is not that positive. They have a minimum separation (angle of spray swing), but that separation can be maintained with a bias to one side or the other. At each end of the rectangular spray block there is a slider. This alters the angle of the jets. This is how the width of the spray pattern is controlled. The great thing about this is that you can alter the angle separately on each side, so one side can have a wide spread and the other a minimal spread.
There is one other control — a tiny dial with a handle. Turning this reduces/increases water flow. At its minimum setting, with my low water pressure, I was able to reduce the height of the spray to a couple of inches. Absolutely useless for me, but if you have high water pressure I guess it might be a worthwhile additional control.
Overall I really like the amount of control I have over the spray area. For me, with a small garden, it is perfect and I can control it so no spray is falling over the fences onto neighbours’ property, and I can, pretty much, put water just where I want it. Highly recommended, unless you need a spray to water a large lawn.

Ordered the zoom max gardena sprinkler first but that one didn’t reach the corners of our large (for England standards) garden. This one does the job perfectly. Needed something for my aunt who cannot manage watering the garden every day! Took the sprinkler to a nearby store and bought connector for hose attachment from there: worked out cheaper. Turn the tap on and turn it off 5 mins later with this magical item in place – watering the garden is no longer something we have to take out time for in my busy day <3

One of the best sprinklers I have ever had – and I have a considerable number over the years. It covers a considerable area which is a great advantage dispensing with the need to move it regularly to cover more ground, it is also fairly even in its coverage. I do find thought that using it among growing plants it needs to be above the average height so have improvised a pole about one and a half metres tall to raise it above most of the plants (if it is not raised above the plants the spray is prevented from attaining its full reach). Of course this is not a problem for lawns
My one quibble it that it is that while very easy to adjust the spray area from a narrow segment to the full 360 , it is very difficult to know where the chosen selected segment will actually go. It seems to be a matter of trial and error until you get it directed exactly where you want
As with other Gardena products this is a well made and superior product, and still works just as well season after season.
Much larger than expected, be sure to check size since picture can be mis-leading. However, the spray is excellent, fine and wide ranging. Holds well in the soil so long as you don’t mind a small hole.
I had been using a Hozelock Vortex spike sprinkler on a timer to water the grass seed I had sown. Using this circular sprinkler on my rectangular lawn meant (a) the corners of the lawn were being missed; (b) my fences were soaked by an arc of water going up the sides, and worst of all (c) it was leaving a large circle around the sprinkler itself completely dry.
The great thing about this ZoomMaxx sprinkler is its adjustability. You can adjust (1) the sideways width angle of the water on each side independently – which means you can tailor it to the exact width of your lawn; (2) how far the sprinkler goes over one side before returning in the other direction for the length of your lawn – again, the two sides can be independently set and (3) a “volume control” for the amount of water going through it which adjusts the range.
There is no manual in the box – the minimal instructions are on the box itself, and are written in that modern children’s picture-book style, which is a down-side as far as I’m concerned. But it’s still worth 5 stars because it’s dead easy to work out how to use the controls.

The pictures of it spraying, as shown in the Amazon page, don’t do it justice really and make it look fairly feeble, frankly. I bought it on the strength of the reviews themselves, and I’m glad I did.

This is a basic garden sprinkler which does exactly what it says on the packaging. It fulfilled my watering needs but you do have to move it often, as the range is not great. I feel it is a good buy for the price.
