I would recommend this hose.
It is very big and bulky, so read about it first. We didn’t realise just how big it was.
Can’t fault anything else.

Die Schlauchbox macht eunen robusten Eindruck. Einfachste Montage. Sofort einsatzbereit. Ich hatte bisher eine preiswertere Schlauchbox von einem andere Anbieter, die leider nach nicht allzulanger Zeit den Geist aufgegeben hat. Daher auf jeden Fall eine Kaufempfehlung von mir. Doe Kriterien fr Langlebigkeit und Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht beurteilen.

We have a garden over two levels which requires a lengthy hose. We previously joined two hoses together and had the pain of stretching and constantly untangling them as the water kept on getting restricted.

Although this is not that cheap in my opinion it is definitely worth it! It is easy to assemble, has a great build quality and does the job perfectly with effortless retraction.

An added benefit was how tidy the garden looks without having reals of hoses all stretched out over the garden.

I would view this as a bit of a luxury, but I would never go back and therefore can recommend it as a worthy purchase consideration!

Eigentlich wollte ich fr meinen Garten die 20 m Version haben. Da diese immer vergriffen war, habe ich letztlich die 25 m Version bestellt und erreiche jetzt zum Gieen auch wirklich jede Ecke vom Garten und auch einige vom Nachbarn 🙂 Zum Ausziehen braucht mensch schon ein wenig Kraft ansonsten funktioniert die Schlauchbox super. Wie haltbar der Mechanismus und die Gesamtkonstruktion letztlich sind kann ich aus heutiger Sicht natrlich noch nicht mit Sicherheit sagen aber die Box macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck und wickelt den Schlauch nach der Benutzung nun seit einigen Monaten zuverlssig und fix wieder auf.

I ordered this as i am a bit OCD over hosepipes lying not wound up and i am the worst culprit.

This was remarkably easy to fit to the wall – the instructions were clear and easy to follow – i did have a had fitting it and positioning it on the wall.

Once it was installed it is really easy to use and the retraction of the hose is really simple and easy to use..the hose itself is great string rubber and i cannot fault anything about the design or the product apart from the price which seemed quite expensive even for a top quality hose.

The other thing i would point out is check how long you need a hose – i ordered the 15 m (45ft) and i wish i had ordered a longer one now as it does not quite reach the ends of the garden but that is my fault for not checking!

Tried the cheap garden hoses and those failed miserably, either doesn’t reel properly or impossible to use, a complete waste of time and effort! This hose box is about 3 times more expensive, but well worth the money, installation and assembly is very easy, and it’s a pleasure to use, would highly recommend it!

This is a really substantial piece of kit. The wall mounted box is really sturdy and the hose runs seamlessly in and out. It has made watering my plants so much quicker than when I had to faff around with my standard hose. These are expensive but really well built and well worth the price.

Haben die Schlauchbox seit ca. 3 Monaten im Einsatz und bislang ist sie jeden Cent wert. Es ist klasse, dass sich der Schlauch selbst wieder einrollt und man die Box in jede Richtung drehen kann. Die Montage war auch einfach und bislang ist sie sehr robust.

Having unpacked all the components I was quite impressed with the quality of the product
After reading the instructions it was very easy too install, all you have to do is drill 4 holes insert the rawlplugs and screw the holding bracket on the wall , then slip the hose box on and secure with the clamp and screws supplied connect to the tap and you are ready to go
The hosepipe pulls out with no effort and will stop and lock at the desired length do to you the locking mechanism, then with just a gentle pull it will release the lock and rewind and all this make watering your garden much easier.
I found this to be well worth the money

Gardena RollUp S garden hose box, The garden hose box is attached to the ground by means of a metal ground spike which is easy to screw into the ground and gives a solid base for the box.
You can conveniently pull the hose to the desired length. and then when putting it away, a slight pull and the hose is automatically and evenly rolled up. magic!

Excellent quality puts hozelock to shame. Everything is connected out of the box again unlike hozelock. Took less than 10 mins to attach to wall and I’m not great at DIY. The quality of connectors and the way the hose reels in and out is unlike anything hozelock do. Switch brand you won’t be disappointed. German quality!

I was pleased to try this ‘Wall hose box RollUp M / L (white) 25 m’. I have a good hose but as I have mobility problems I am finding it increasingly hard to wind it onto the reel – this automatic winder should be a great boon.

1. You get the assembled hose on its wall bracket, along with chunky screw/bolts, rawl plugs, three tap connectors and a traditional spray attachment.
2. You have to undo one screw that holds the hose container onto the wall bracket. This will be really handy to remove it for winter storage – just leaving the bracket attached to the wall.
3. Fitting the bracket to the wall was easy, after measuring, using a hammer drill to get through our stonework. My husband fitted it for me, without any trouble and he hates DIY.
4. It has to be near to an outside tap and you need to drill into the brickwork and not into the mortar for a good hold. Mine feels extremely well held now. The unit will swing left to right against the wall and will easily face forward, what ever angle you want.
4. Trying it out was a joy. You just pull and it comes out and locks when you stop, so you don’t need to be constantly ‘pulling’ while using it. To get it to go back you pull a little again and then just walk back with it – the hose cleverly goes back, running side to side in the casing to ‘stack’ it neatly. No knots or tangles here!
5. The spray nozzle is effective and you can store it under the unit along with a space for another spray gun – they hang easily
6. This 25metre hose reaches to the bottom of our garden or around the house into the front garden, with more left over on the reel. It was a joy to just walk back from the front garden with it rather then my old hose needing two people – one to wind the hose onto the reel and one to prevent tangles and guide it back.
7. I am in love with this hose and the quality is fantastic in my opinion.
8. It is a lot to pay for a hose but worth every penny for the quality, convenience and functionality.

When this got delivered I was suprised the package was massive so expect a large heavy delivery there is alot of weight to this hose.
This was alot easier to set up than expected it takes 3 large screws/bolts to mount it to the wall screws and rawl plugs provided
Fix to a wall not a fence I don’t think a fence would take the weight in the long term.

You will need a 8mm masonry drill bit to do the holes for the wall itnonly took about 10/15 mins to fix this all up.
The bracket comes off the hose box to fix it to the wall then you just slot the hose box back on once it’s fitted and one small screw to keep it secured on.
Once all set up there is an ease of moment the hone box swivels on the bracket well but secure.
The hose has all connectors to attach to tap and few spares.
It has a standard basic flow spray nozzel on it when it arrives but personally I prefer a trigger gun and the one I had just clipped in place like with any other hose.
The hose is really long covers my whole garden which is about 17meters long with plenty spare.
Hose pulls out easily on a self recoil.
When you want to put it away just pull it a little and it will start to roll itself back in at a decent speed its not slow. No need to mess about self windinding by hand and the best part about the hose box self recoil is itnwont knot up inside either as you can see from he video attached the mechanism moves side to side as it rolls up to give it a even roll.and won’t get all knotted inside.

At first when I looked at the price I thort it was expensive but the quality and ease of use of this hose it is worth every penny

Endlich kann ich sowohl Vorgarten als auch den Rest des Gartens ohne groe Anstrengung erreichen.
Auch das Aufrollen des Schlauches ist einfach super, da es vllig automatisch erfolgt. Ein kurzer Ruck gengt und der Schlauch wird automatisch eingerollt.

Die Schlauchbox erfllt perfekt ihren Job mit einer kleinen Einschrnkung,ist der Winkel zur Wand 180 grad fllt das Herausziehen etwas schwer.
Das Einziehen klappt z.Zt. perfekt,ich hoffe natrlich,dass die Feder lange hlt.Aber die Sorgen sind nicht sehr gro0,denn Gardena bietet ja 5 Jahre Garantie.Also,wenn auch nicht billig,klare Empfehlung von mir!

Da ich mit billigen Alternativen zu Gardena-Produkten hufig schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe, kaufe ich meist Gardena. Wie bei vielen Gardena-Produkten ist die Qualitt des Plastiks das einzige Manko. Aufgrund der groen Plastikflchen bei diesen Schlauchaufroller problematisch. Meiner war schon nach dem Anbau unschn verschrumpelt, da kleine Berhrungen an der Mauer beim Anhalten ausreichen.

Aber dennoch bin ich zufrieden, angesichts des Aufwands und der voraussehbaren Enttuschung auf der Suche nach Alternativen.

Das Herausziehen geht etwas schwerer als erwartet. Dafr zieht sich der Schlauch aber wie von einer motorisch betriebenen Seilwinde wieder ein. Immer wieder nett anzusehen und bleibt auch nirgends ohne Weiteres hngen.

Montage war mit dem beigelegten Material selbst in unserer brseligen Bruchsteinwand kein Problem.

Druckverlust ist trotz der Lnge des Schlauches selbst komplett aufgerollt nicht feststellbar.

Fazit: ist sein Geld wert!

Very sturdy and easy to move, the brake system impressed me the most . Extremely smooth action i can know reach front and back garden with ease.
Very satisfied with my purchase and glad I did not use hozelock.
