Used one of these on holiday in USA. Found it really easy to use so bought one on return to the UK.
It’s quick to heat up, cooks quickly and is fairly easy to clean with non stick plates and drainage for fat.
Best thing is that it can be used inside and outside in case of bad weather. The grill part can be detached from the stand and used on the worktop.

Excellent quality product, really versatile
Good materials, sturdy, the base is pretty solid and doesn’t move as other customers say, if you place it on a flat ground. On the temperature control, one needs to het up to max (5) in order to get a good grill in place, otherwise the lowe temperatures are just not prowerful enough. But at maximum power, it does what you’d expect to do.

This indoor and outdoor grill does not disappoint. I would highly recommend this along with many of the other George Foreman grills.

Really pleased with the George foreman. Food tastes good . Quick to heat up and cook. Easy to keep clean. It’s good you can use it all year round table top indoor or on the stand outside.
Arrived on time and is exactly as described. Used it for the first time about a week ago and found it very easy to set up and use. I stood it on grass so had to be careful to make sure it was steady and fairly level. Also to be sure that the excess hot fat could run away to the included fat catcher drawer underneath the front edge. The stand is perfectly adequate but it isn’t solid. The top is removable from the centre pole and has rubber feet so that it can be stood on a worktop or table. Love the way it has a thermostatic temperature control that is designed to plug into the edge of the hotplate. The hotplate is none stick coated and once unplugged from the control can be removed for easy cleaning. Also for safety once the hotplate has been removed the control cannot be reconnected until the hotplate is refitted to the top of the stand. The control itself produces no heat, it only supplies power to heat up the hotplate. Cooking wise it produces a good heat and using the thermometer on the top cover was able to get over 200 degrees F which is ample for a bbq and cooks at a decent speed without burning the food on the outside and leaving it over rare on the inside. I have used it 3 times in total to date and everything cooked on it has been very edible. My only slight complaint is that it doesn’t have that classic charcoal bbq flavour. But that might suit some more than others. I am easy either way. I am happy with this electric bbq and for the money is a very good buy.

Light weight, easy clean and portable
Bought this for use whilst away in my caravan. The unit is light and dismantles to a small package for storing in the caravan. Because it cleans up well there is no bbq smells from past bbq’s so good to store within the caravan. My choice for purchasing this was ease of use. Light weight and easy clean and also price. Now using it at home and see this unit coming in useful in doors as it is also table mounted.

Large grill
Only used once so far as a trial but worked well and is convenient. It has a quick heat up time and is to easy clean, just a bit large to handle so a bit of care needs to be taken when cleaning. There’s a little wobble when used on the stand but I wouldn’t call it unstable.

Great safe BBQ solution for flats with small balcony.
The flat i live in has a ban on barbecues on terraces and balconies due to fire safety issues. After much research we found this grill. Its perfect as its actually an indoor grill that can be used outside and comes with a stand. Because it’s electric there is no risk with open flames or gas bottles. Its so easy to clean as well which is what i love about it. Every bit of it comes apart and can be washed.

For those who want a BBQ but the weather does not permit to stay outdoors : this is a very good indoor bbq. Can be used with ease, very very easy to clean as a paper tissue is enough once the plate is cold. Similar to a Chinese hot plate, with good temperature control. Hope will be with us for many years.

Excellent indoor/outdoor grill/barbeque. Easy to use and clean, it holds a lot of food in one go, you don’t get the barbeque smells or taste but you don’t have the mess afterwards either. Food cooks quickly, and the grill can easily be reheated later if people get the munchies…great buy am very pleased with this product.

Alternate BBQ
Great grill for summer or winter. Good quality and food cooks evenly. Only slight point is when on the stand it seems a little wobbly but doesn’t fall over or anything.

Great grill for hopefully sunny evenings, easy to clean, very fast warmup time ready to cook in a few minutes, one small gripe we take this with us when we go away in Motorhome, the feet do not come apart so not very good if you have limited space.

Good item that’s very simple to use and easy to clean afterwards. The stand is a little flimsy though.
I personally felt that anything other than a charcoal barbecue was sacrilege but I’ve been partially converted. There is practically zero prep time as you can start cooking in 5 minutes from plug in, there’s a lot less smoke and cleaning up at the end is quick and easy. The bonus with this George Foreman outdoor grill is that the grooves on the plate are slightly angled and all the fat and oil is collected in a drip tray underneath. The grill gets hot enough to nicely brown your meat without burning it, you may notice it needs slightly longer if you’ve rammed it full of food. There are cheaper versions out there but don’t be fooled by the “other customers looked at” section below, the surface area of this is much larger which is why I bought it, I’ve been able to cook for up to 10 people on it in one go. I’ve owned normal George Foreman grills in the past and I’m really glad I went for this version.
For an elitist barbecue aficionado like myself, this will never compare to cooking on lumpwood charcoal but if you fancy saving yourself over an hour of prep and cleanup time and don’t want to stink out your neighbour’s drying clothes on a Sunday afternoon then this product is perfect, I just wish I had discovered it earlier!

Awesome grill. No mess with bricks and gas and all that stuff. Pefect heat control for beef stakes and burgers. Wack it on higher for chunky chicken. Very good concept and easy to clean. Loads of meat or corn cobs can been cooked at one session.

Great item with the flexibility to cook indoors or outdoors. It obviously lacks the lip smacking smell a BBQ would emit but it offers instant heat and very easy cleaning. The fact it can be used all year round is a great bonus.

The perfect out-door grill!
The PERFECT grill! Easy to assemble, easy to use and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better product…..and a quick delivery.
I like this grill. It was easy to assemble – you need a Philips screwdriver to attach the handle to the lid, but all the the other parts slot easily into place. Once assembled it all feels sturdy and the stand is a decent height. It heats up pretty quickly and is easy to control. The drip tray works well for gathering the run-off fat, and the grill plate is easy to clean using the advised method of paper towel with a little cooking oil.
The top can be lifted off the stand should you want to use it indoors on a worktop. The grill is quite big, so it’s a little too large to use on my cluttered kitchen worktops. But it seems to work just as well in this mode.
If you are considering buying a barbecue, I would certainly recommend you add this to your options.
Update February 2017: This continues to work well. It’s kept in a shed when not in use, and has fared well, still looking as good as new.

The George Foreman range has been around long enough to have proved itself, so when the opportunity came to try this out, I jumped at the chance.
First of all, the grill is heavy enough to be stable and light enough to be portable. On its stand it looks the part and is stable enough for use. Off the stand (on the kitchen worktop) it is a little large, but that is a good thing as it means you can cook quite a lot at the same time. You can cook with the lid on or off – I prefer to keep the lid on as it helps to reduce cooking time and keeps the smells to a minimum – although most of the ‘smells’ are lovely!
Out the box it is very easy to assemble, only needing a medium philips screwdriver to fit the handle to the lid. Everything else slots together and once assembled it is quite sturdy. Basically there are three parts; the stand, the grill itself and the lid. To control the heat there is a thermostatically controlled dial that ranges from 1-5. The range of heat is very good, from hot-ish to very hot indeed.
In use the grill heats up very quickly and from switching on to starting cooking is only a couple of minutes. I cooked kebabs and chicken which was so easy and quick. The chicken had been marinating for 24 hours in a barbecue sauce and burnt on to the grill. On our normal barbecue this would have taken a lot of hard work and cleaner to remove, but on this George Foreman Grill most of it came off with just rubbing with kitchen paper. This is a huge bonus as cleaning barbecues can be a real pain. Any more difficult burnt on bits came off with a gentle rub and wash. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes to clean. (remember not to try to clean it until it has cooled down). The food cooked easily and tasted great. The tomatoes, bacon and peppers cooked perfectly and the grill only needed a wipe with kitchen paper to clean – amazing.
By the way, I cooked the first chicken on number 4 which was fine, but the second time I tried number 3 which gave it an edge. A little longer to cook but moist and flavoursome – the book doesn’t actually advise on what temperature to use, so it is trial and error.
This has been designed to be used both outside and in, which means it is an all year round grill/barbecue. As it is so easy to set up and use, this is perfect for when someone says about ten minutes before you are due to eat and no food has been prepared, “Let’s have a barbecue.” I love barbecues and this has made it possible to have one, anytime, any weather, at the last minute.
The book that comes with it is well written and contains all the usual health and safety warnings as well as how to put it together, how to use it and even has a few recipes to help you experiment. Indeed, for the money, this is a must have. I cannot recommend this enough.

This grill/barbecue consists of a grid plate, base,lid and a stand. The plate is ridged with a smooth central channel and 2 holes to allow fat to escape into a drip box below.The stand, which raises the grill to a comfortable cooking height, has a pedestal base. The power cable has a temperature control unit with numbers 1 to 5. The lid has a temperature gauge where temperature is measured in centigrade. We built it up very quickly although did find that the screws to the lid handle were rather short. We were desperate to try it – weather prevented us from going outside. I felt it too big to sit on work top and although the base had rubber feet I did not put want to put in on my hob. We solved the problem by going into our conservatory/dining room and had a “cooked at the table meal”. Everyone thought this was funny. We cooked sausages and burgers. Fat drained down the channel into the container so we could pretend we were having a healthy meal. We did put the lid on initially but took it off after a short time. (no reason). I am rather small and loved the height of the grill when on the stand. The burgers and sausages were nice and we all enjoyed them. Cleaning was easy. After it cooled I took a paper towel and wiped it guiding little food bits down into the container. Stubborn spots were removed by damp cloth. I had lightly oiled the grill before use and I think this helped. Looking forward to family barbecues in the good weather (hope hope) but I think it is rather large for my kitchen. The grill comes with instructions and some recipes and although there was a time guide there was no temperature guide so it was guess work. I ended cooking on number 3 (I forgot to check the temperature gauge on the lid). Overall great for outdoors and probably large kitchens/large families indoors
