Wasn’t sure that I’d like the hood, but am super happy with it. The added protection and warmth that it provides is great. Coat is much warmer than I expected as well.

We got one of the tall sizes for a 6'7" friend, and we said it fit absolutely perfect. He was shocked at how well it fit him. He's a slim 6'7" so stuff in normally baggy on him.

What a great jacket. Amazing comfort, warmth and style. If I could improve one feature I would add a shock-cord to the hood. Overall, this is fantastic jacket at a terrific price.

Unfortunately I am allergic to down feathers. But I was still able to confirm that this is a very warm jacket. It is both puffy and well insulated and with a sweatshirt underneath, it will suffice to keep you warm in most winter weather. You may notice some loose feathers that hang out of the seams, but other than that, it is a very sturdy build.

Purchased this lightweight jacket for my 11 year old son. It fits, it's comfortable, warm, hood is roomy, pockets are deep and zippered, and it looks great. There are no feathers sticking out like some of the reviews claimed. I will definitely be purchasing next size up when my son outgrows this one.

The item is of very good quality and warm enough.
It’s great when it’s raining.
This is a nice warm coat but the sizing is off. It's lightweight and stops the wind and cold. Just order the next size up of what you would normally wear. It's well made and seems like a quality product. Hopefully it will fit my son.

Decent jacket although a bit pricey for how simple it is
Pretty good down coat. Very simple, basic, no frills. It’s lightweight and keeps me decently warm (although we live in California so it doesn’t get very cold).
I do think the jacket is a bit expensive for how simple it is though, I’m not sure the price is warranted based on the jacket.
True to size and good for weather in the 30s
This jacket is warm but lightweight, great in wind or light snow. It has decent loft, and is comfortable in weather in the 30s. It’s packable and compresses nicely. The zipper runs smoothly and it has deep outer pockets plus a handy inner pocket.
Over time, however, the feathers do come out and stick onto clothing. Because of this I am giving it 4 stars. Similarly built jackets usually cost a lot more so this one is a good value, but I would not say it’s a high-end down coat.

If I have something there and my hand is in the outside pocket, whatever is in the interior pocket is right there and I'm forced to make a fist or grab whatever is in the interior pocket through the jacket. Not sure why they didn't just put the pocket up higher. That's my only gripe with this jacke

Didn’t think my grandson would be wearing this warm jacket this early in the season, but we had snow for Thanksgiving, so this jacket saved the day! Not bulky like a lot of down jackets, we like this one because it doesn’t restrict his farm work. It’s especially warm, and the fabric is easy to clean. When he cleans up, he can wear this out to dinner, too. Good choice.

I’m not sure that this jacket will win any awards for longevity, but for the meantime, it’s great! It’s comfortable, lightweight while still being warm, and looks good on. The only complaint I have is that the material is thin and the stitching doesn’t seem very sturdy, so I doubt it would last very long. If you don’t mind buying a jacket that might just be for one or two winters, though, I really do recommend it as it’s very comfortable!

Warm, stylish, and light.
I love this jacket. It’s light, stylish, fits perfectly, and keeps me very warm. With SoCal’s mild weather, this is all the jacket I’ll probably need.
Like all the other Goodthread-branded clothing I’ve tried so far, this one is also well-made and good quality.

Great little down jacke
This jacket is really warm but yet light-weight. It looks good on my 14 year old son who takes this to school with him. He can fit this in his backpack without it taking up much space and pull it out when he needs it.
I really like that even when it gets packed down into a ball and squished into his backpack, it comes back to its normal shape without looking like a rag. It also does not hold onto pet hair as fleece does.
The hood is not detachable, so no worry about loosing it. There is one inner pocket with a zipper for your valuables and two outer pockets with zippers as well. There also is a cinch cord at the waist.
Just roll it up into its hood and you are good to go when you need it.
We have several Goodthreads garments and have always liked the quality. This coat is no exception. It is warm and well made.
I ordered this in a small and it fits my young adult son perfectly. He loves the down and how warm it is. He also loves that he can shove it in his backpack when he’s out and gets too warm. The pockets are deep enough to keep a cell phone and gloves. They also zip to keep everything from falling out. The coat has a hood that keeps his head really warm and keeps rain and snow off him. There is nothing about the coat that we don’t like.

My 17 year old is very picky about the hood on his coats and jackets. He says this one has an exceptionally nice fit, doesn't get in the way of his vision or get in his face. He loves how he can easily stuff this in his backpack because it's packable!

Sorry, I couldn’t pass up on that pun above Anyhow, it has a nice inner zippered pocket and good zippered outer pockets. It is stated as blue but is a rather dark blue. I’m not much of a fan of blue but dark blue is alright. The ridged design isn’t really what I’m use to but it’s not bad at 2nd glance. I don’t like hoods though. I wear a hat if earmuffs aren’t enough only. That’s my main gripe with the jacket. Otherwise I think it would be a fine jacket for around 55 to 30-something degrees Fahrenheit.
That’s typical jacket temperatures in my book.

First of all you can tel this is a decent basic down coat. It’s a dark navy blue color and it’s well padded. What we found surprising is that unlike other down costs this one is super light! We could easily squish it down and fit it in a backpack. It is also in the big side but that might be part of its design and means you can wear layers under it. Just a great light down jacket. What a remarkable job Amazon has done on this private label puffer with hoodie.
It’s perfect. Has an inside zipper pocket. Zips up nicely. The navy blue color is very stylish too.
Fits me perfect and I’m a large. It’s thin enough to wear during Fall and if you have layers on you can probably wear it during Winter and keep warm.
Definitely recommend this jacket.
