Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI don’t normally do reviews, but I think it might be helpful.
It’s a bit fiddly to assemble, after that it is a great little lawnmower. If you want a basic lawnmower this is the one. I have a fairly small lawn 60ft x 40ft and this little machine did it within 15 minutes, the basket was 3/4 full. I did it on height level 2.
The mower with 3/4 full basket was still light weight and easily to move.
I would highly recommend this great little lawnmower.

This is really great product. The lawnmower is lightweight and has low noise. Perfect for our small garden. It is made of high quality, very easy to assemble and to use. It has an adjustable height for different lengths of grass. The colour is gorgeous

Wrong time of year to get a lawn mower as at the current time it’s so wet and just not the right weather to mow the lawn.

So this will get the first use in the spring months of 2021, this came just at the right time as the last time I done the lawn I kind of went over the wire again (oops)

This one took my eye as its wireless so I don’t have any chance in electric myself.

Green-works is a brand which I have used before and have never had any problems with and can’t wait to try this out.

My husband wanted to leave it in the box but I wanted to get it out, I must admit I should have left it in the box as it was a little tricky to put together especially the grass box and it did cause a few rows.

It looks prefect and provides so much, height adjustment, compact but a prefect size and best of all no wires.

I will update the review once I use for the first lawn mow.

Although, as someone else mentioned, I would read this with a bit of scepticisim, this is the best I can do at the moment – we only managed to use it once and were very pleased with this machine! However, I have seen all sorts of electrical items that work brilliant the first couple of time and then as if the demo mode runs out, they develop all sorts of issues, so please watch this space for an update once we get a bit of a better weather and I can give it a much better run for its money, so to say!
Anyway, unless we were given a special treatment, it does come with everything you need which instantly makes it a fantastic value for money item – we got the charger unit and a battery in the sealed box, so…I am not sure whether this is part of the set or if you do have to buy it separately. If you do, it does work out twice as expensive as the original price tag suggests, but still not something that could put me off buying it!
It does a decent job and we managed to cut 3 good-sized lawns on one charge, so nothing to frown at, to be honest! In terms if the quality of the cut – it is as good as my all time favourite flymos, but ad say much more maneuverable, as it is cordless! And this is the point that makes it stand out of the crowd! It is a totally different experience and I would pay twice as much just for this feature alone, to be fair!
Bottom line – so far, so good, but do come back to this next year for an update!

The lawnmower is lightweight and easy to assemble so it doesn’t too long to be mowing the lawn…if the weather allows it. The lawnmower can also fold down quite neatly for storage.

It’s nice to be mowing the lawn without having to constantly be worrying about the wire and moving it so it doesn’t get caught in the blade. Unlike some battery operated lawn mowers I’ve seen this only requires the one battery to be used. The downside to this is this listing shouldn’t come with one so this could be costly expenditure if you haven’t already invested in this brand and its batteries.

The waste bag is a decent size so you don’t have to empty the contents too often which means you can keep mowing continuously. This enabled me to get round with my relatively small garden with having to empty twice. The battery got all the way round no problem with a 4ah battery. It did struggle a little with longer, damp grass though which I feel a corded one would have managed easier.

Very exciting to try out this Greenworks cordless mower. It’s a shame I was sent this at the wrong time of the year. The grass is very wet and didn’t really need cutting at the moment. I only have a very small patch of grass in the garden so this small 13″ mower is ideal as it gives you so much more freedom to move it around and it is very lightweight. No cables to run over.

This lawnmower works with the 24v Greenworks battery. Just please be aware that the battery and charger are not included in this listing, you will have to purchase these separately if you don’t own these already. The 24-volt battery gives you around 35 minutes of runtime. If you want more runtime you could always purchase an extra battery, the cool thing is that those batteries are interchangeable with other GreenWorks products that run on the 24-volt battery.

The mower isn’t super straight forward to put together, you have to put together the handle part yourself. The instruction isn’t the easiest. However once put together this looks and feels great. I highly recommend this lawnmower if you have a small patch of grass that needs regular cutting.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve included a number of photos and a video of it in operation which I hope you find helpful.

This came with everything you’d expect when buying a lawnmower and no parts were missing which some other reviewers have mentioned before. I’m also very confused by the Amazon listing as mine came with one Greenworks 24V battery and charging unit within the sealed lawnmower box (see my photos).

There is an instruction book included but it references a separate pictorial sheet so you may need both when putting it all together. The screws needed are hidden in the lawnmower battery compartment so don’t panic if it first appears that you don’t have everything. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to assemble the mower and I found the fiddliest bit was constructing the grass cuttings bag/bin.

However once set up, this is a good looking lawnmower in a vivid green and black colour scheme. The included battery charger features both UK and European plugs and is very self explanatory to use – Plug into the mains, slide in the supplied battery and switch on the mains plug. When the charger light is a solid green you know you are fully charged. The battery also has an inbuilt charge indicator so that you can with the press of a button see how much power you have left prior to or at the end of a cutting job

You slot the charged battery into the top of the lawnmower body and as long as the red safety key is in position, you are good to start cutting – though you can also adjust the cutting height if you need to (just remember to remove the safety key if the battery is in place). This safety key is definitely a good idea in my opinion and stops the mower from working unless it is in place.

The lawnmower is manoeuvrable and not too heavy and cut my grass well (though when I filmed the ground was a bit wet). You press the circular button and then with that depressed squeeze the handle lever and keeping that pressed the mower will start and run. It’s actually not too loud at all when cutting and I found the cutting bag to be of a good size and collected the grass well. The cutting bag is also easy enough to attach and remove.

Coming from an old corded lawn mower, this is great! No more worries about where the cable is, constantly moving it out the way, or worrying whether I am going to accidentally cut it. Am very impressed and pleased with this lawnmower.

    Good Battery Powered Lawnmowe

This is a fantastic powerful little light weight lawn mower. Being cordless is a massive bonus and it’s quick and easy to insert and charge the battery.

The lawn mower has 3 easily adjustable grass hight settings.

It was easy to put together and would highly recommend.

However if you don’t already have a green works battery and charger this doesn’t come with one so you will need to buy that separately.

Nice powerful mower Doesn't come with battery or charger.

First things first, this did a very good job of cutting the grass! I love not having to worry about a power cable, and it made it much quicker to mow the lawn – and that’s not including time to get power extension cables out and pack away too! It’s easy to adjust to set to whichever of the three cutting heights you want.

The battery and charger are not included, so make sure you buy these unless you already have a Greenworks cordless product. The battery charges quickly enough and holds a good amount of charge.

My 2nd photo shows the box contents before I put it all together. It was fairly easy to construct, despite the rather poor instructions. However, one screw was dodgy – the cross head was filled with metal! (see my 4th photo). The lawnmower feels as though it’s fairly cheaply made – it has thinner plastic than my current major brand lawnmower.

The grass basket works well and is easy to empty.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this mower, despite it’s build quality, as it makes mowing the lawn less of a chore!

    A competent cordless mowe

This is a compact little lawnmower, particularly when it arrives in a box so small that you think it must be a toy one. What it lacks in beefiness and power, it does make up for with convenience though.

That’s not to say that it’s weak, because it isn’t. For a regular and routine bit of garden mowing, it’s more than adequate for a bit of grass. It’s got a fairly refined sound that might make it sound a little weak, but the effect on a straightforward bit of lawn is certainly good enough for domestic use.

It’s fairly lightweight, and the swappable battery pack gives a cordless freedom that does make a really big difference- even down to removing my age-old paranoia about accidentally mowing through the mower’s power cable.

When I read the instructions I was a little concerned that the manual says that it’s not suitable for inclines greater than 15 degrees, since we have a sloped and bumpy garden which might approach that angle at some points. I took my chances with it though (without getting the spirit level out!) and there were no notable problems on our lawn, and no obvious loss of power or even change of noise when mowing on a slope.

I like the green stylings of it, even though they do look a bit toy-like, and the plastic on the one we got was not particularly well finished, with a few rough edges and a corner where the plastic seemed to have bent somewhat. Thankfully it was all minor cosmetic issues though and nothing that affected the operation itself.

It’s easy to store between uses, particularly if you’re willing to disassemble the grass catcher box for over-winter storage whereupon you can make it pack down really quite tightly, which is ideal if you don’t have a lot of garage or shed space to keep a lawnmower in.

It’s a lawnmower that’s well suited to light use, and situations where you’ve got small areas of grass but finding a plug socket can be tricky- on an allotment for example, or in oddly shaped gardens. For situations like that, when you need a lawnmower but not a top-of-the-range one, this one has a lot of appeal.

Make sure you’ve done the sums on how much the battery and charger will add to the package though, because the absence of them in this bundle does make it look more competitively priced than it actually is.

Very pleased with this, setup was straight forward and the instructions are clear. Its very well made and lightweight. Great for no wires and ideal for anyone, even for the older generation with its lower noise and vibration with a good comfy handle. Easy to fold and store away also which is a bonus!

The battery you will need is the G24B4 and the charger is the G24C

Cuts very well, luckily i got a dry afternoon this time of the year and i got about 30-35 minutes usage of a full battery which was pretty decent. Took roughly 2 hours to charge the battery. The grass collector works well and the grass streams in nicely!

So overall its convenient and functional, easy to use & cuts very well on my medium slopey garden, also well made build and no wires. The same battery can be used for some their brand cordless strimmers.. so i may purchase one!
Just shame this one doesnt come with a battery and charger, could save abit of hassle. Great mower though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great strong well made mowe

No more wires, its not as powerful as an electric mower but if your lawn is not to large this will get the job done, you need to make sure the battery is fully charged it has indicator lights on the battery itself and the light goes solid green on the charger pack, its very easy to move around its not to loud and runs smoothly just go a little slower up and down as it is a battery mower after all, the assembly can be a little tricky its instructions are not great but if you look at my pictures it covers it all, the basket is a little tricky pushing the net to the top section, please note they put the fixings screws in the battery compartment, the battery fixes very neatly but is tricky to release.
Very pleased with it so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and no wires.

I will begin this review with a little disclaimer: At the time of writing this, I haven’t yet been able to use the lawn mower to actually cut the grass. I know that’s not something you want to read in a review for a product where cutting the grass is its primary function. I unfortunately received this lawn mower to review at the wrong time of the year, and it is now October and therefore wet and windy. I may come back to this review at a later date when I have actually been able to use it fully.

Now, onto what I think of the mower. Firstly when I requested this lawn mower for review, I did panic slightly, as I realised the title said no battery or charger was included. This concerned me as I thought, how can I review something I can’t use, and will I have to now spend money on the mower? Fortunately, and to my surprise, as I opened the box I did in fact find both the charging dock and a battery. I don’t know if this is the case should you buy one, or whether this is purely for reviewers, but in my box I did receive both, which is a bonus. As for the lawn mower itself, it is a great looking machine. It is sturdy, and well built, and even though it is plastic, it is high quality. The mower comes in many parts in the box, and you are required to construct the handle section by following an a4 sheet of instructions. The instructions are not the clearest, and as some have said, the mower is a little difficult to construct. However, once you overlook this, you end up with a very nice looking lawn mower. A sponge handle grip feels comfortable and the four wheels are large and look built to withstand years of lawn maintenance. Had this not arrived with the battery however, I would have been disappointed, and not impressed to have paid over 100 for something and not be able to use it. The fact that I did receive them was perfect, as it won’t cost me extra, but if amazon does indeed sell these to the customer without the battery, I think an extra 80 for battery and charger is a little unfair. For me though, this mower looks and feels great, and the bonus of having a battery pack instead of having to fumble with cords and extension leads is a feature I have never had the chance to use before. The battery is also interchangeable with other green works products such as lawn strimmer or drill etc which is better for the environment and more convenient. A rechargeable battery also prevents your mower eating away at large amounts of electricity. Having a cordless lawn mower is something special, and I truly can’t wait to test it out. I just wish this weather would change. I only have a short amount of time to submit a review, and in that time I can’t see the October weather being dry enough for me to test it fully, but as I said, I may come back and add my opinions on functionality once the weather changes, and I am able to use it. But, as far as looks, feels and cordless operation is concerned, this ‘green machine’ definitely gets a four stars from me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Green Machine!
