Use it to skip. pity it is not corded string but more like a bendable plastic cord like a wash line cord.
Good rope. Lighter than my usual one. Lightest I’ve ever had. Now I have a light, medium and heavy rope. My original rope was plastic handle and when I skipped around 180bpm or more my arms and grip would give out after 5 mins. This one is so light that at 200bpm it still doesn’t challenge my arms. The advantage of this rope is speed. My lower body is challenged to go faster so legs and core get a better workout than they used to. I now use this for lower body and use my weighted rope for upper body. The handle is small and nicely padded. When adjusting the length u need a snips as the rope is wire with a plastic coat. My old one was rubber so a scissors could cut it. I imagine this might be more durable as a result. I honestly can’t say anything bad about it other than it won’t work your arms as much as a thicker rope will. So if u want a full body challenge go thicke
Great quality rope but I’m having second thoughts on the small plastic clippers that manage the length of the rope.
This product is very good and easy to adjust rope length with instructions. However I notice that it gets tangled sometimes when I skip even after adjusting the rope length.
Easy to adjust and use. Just watch your hands as it can come a bit keen if you catch them when you mess up.
On a mission with my friends to start a jumping rope challenge and this made it easy. It was the correct size and weight for my need. Very easy to use and I love it .
A solid product. Does it’s purpose, but the only downside is, once you cut the rope to your desired length, you can never go back. There are no replacement wires available for purchase, so make sure the length you cut to is right for you!
It is made of metal cabel so take care at the beginning or you will hurt yourself at the back of your head as I found out the hard way.

Compared to others I’ve used, this is one of the lighter skipping ropes. As the rope has a wire interior, it does hurt (your feet) if you make the mistake of skipping whilst wearing flip-flops.
This is a basic entry-level skipping rope that does what its meant to do!
It’s simple to set the ‘rope’ to the right length and it handles well – freely flowing as you turn it.
My only gripe is that the plasticised wire really hurts the back of my legs when I hit myself – I guess that’s just motivation to get better at skipping!
This rope is great for anyone, for beginners who have never skipped in their lives or for experienced skippers. It has great foam comfortable hand grips and the rope is extremely durable. I use this rope only outdoors on hard concrete almost daily and it has shown no signs of damage, even after some very intense skipping rope sessions. Very durable and well made. My boxing gym has loads of these ropes and a lot of people I know own one of these, a testament to the great value and quality of these. Would recommend to everyone.

The wife was complaining of packing on a few Corona Kilos….she wanted a treadmill but I had already spent our spare cash on a lazy boy deluxe reclining seat with massage and cooling functions. I convinced her that what she needed to do was interval training and showed her a few before and after photos of guys skipping (actually the befores were heavyweight boxers and the afters were featherweights same coloured hair and shorts and who knows the difference). Anyway this skipping rope has really knocked the pounds off her. I just tie one end to the door, turn the soccer on the TV, ease into the lazy boy and swing the other end while she jumps for the 90 mins. Break for water at half time, important to stay hydrated. When the Arsenal score I really let the rope have it and she’s up and down like a lunatic in a pool of sweat. I have even painted the handles white a red. Everyone’s a winner!
To adjust the skipping rope to your height just make sure you have wire cutters. Instructions come with them. Very nicely packaged and easy to follow instructions. Rope/wire itself is nice and strong but not too heavy! Handles are very comfy to hold. All round great product!
Overall I like it! The handle is quite chunky and that’s my fault as I should have bought a slimmer one. And adjusting the length of the actual rope so that it suits my height was a slight hassle! You will need pliers or something very durable to be able to cut through the excess rope once you have your desired length! Otherwise it’s a decent jump rope and super fun!
Super easy to adjust the length of the rope, very lightweight and really sturdy. As a beginner to jumping rope for exercise these are perfect!
I bought the skipping rope for my son, he had put on a lot of weight during the lockdown. I’m really glad I chose this one it has anti slip soft memory foam handles, for extra comfort. It is tangle free with rope length adjuster inside each handle. He loves it and definitely recommends it.
On a serious note, this skipping rope is very good quality and easy to use. Ergonomic handle makes it soft to hold, which is a lifesaver when you are skipping for 2-3 minutes at a time. Skipping, in general, is very underrated so if you are interested I would get one of these and fall in love with it.
This is the second skipping rope i bought and its worth spending the extra pennies to get a rope that doest twist when you jump. You’ll need wire cutters to get the correct length and then you are good to go. I stood on the rope and pulled each length to my arm pits and then cut the rope. Only cut 1 side though. I’m average hight of 172cm and only had to cut off around 5cm.

This is great product and which I was looking for years and years. Well-made it, the plastic coated metal rope feels incredibly durable and will enable more advanced users to get some significant speed on the swing. The handles are really comfortable and nicely weighted, unscrewing the top of the handle will enable you to adjust the rope to any length you want. I used them in the gym, I can’t say bad words. They are very comfortable, so far so good.
Needed something for cardio during lockdown for my 15-year-old whonis used to training 5 days a week. He loves this, hes taking videos every day of his ‘skills’ …be warned it does leave whip marks on the back of legs/arms/back…but it inspires him to get better at it!! Would highly recommend!!

Really lightweight. I read the review and wasn’t expecting it to be too much different to my old rope. How wrong I was. Lost a fair bit of weight already in (12 weeks) just by doing a session a day in the garden. Getting outdoors helps with the motivation! Would purchase again although I don’t think anything will happen to this one for me to ever get another, it’s really strong ! Arrived promptly too
I use this rope a lot. Has helped me build endurance and feels good to use. The metal wire prevents tangling and can easily be adjusted to your required length. I recommend you wear shoes when using this rope as the metal rope could hurt you if you miss your step and the rope hits your foot.
Good ropes. Good weight. Been skipping with this every day for about 5 months now on a wooden deck. So far only minimal wear to the bottom and still very smooth. Excellent value considering some of the more expensive ropes won’t last this long!
Although light and versatile, a little fiddly to change the size of the rope. Can’t adjust for different people once the rope has been cut. Was expecting it to be adjustable depending on who was using it. Other than that it is as expected.
Item is very well made and super lightweight. Only issue I had was getting down to the right size. Being on the shorter side I had to keep cutting bits off them testing it and then cutting more off. Make sure you have a good pair of wire cutters!
This is everything I would look for in a skipping rope. It’s got really solid build quality but equally light enough for steady use. This is probably a little heavier duty than you’d want to use for double unders etc but I’ve used it across multiple hard and outdoor surfaces and it shows little/no signs of wear & tear.
I used a pair of wire snips to cut it to my exact length but it also has little clips within the handle to allow for minor adjustment as well
Excellent weighted rope. You can cut the rope to the right length for you – I took a few days to get the length right for me. I’m still not sure if it’s too long, so I haven’t cut it yet. I love making it part of my workout.

Time will tell how long it lasts with its durability, but it’s easy enough to use, and a great way to being the jump rope journey into fitness. At the moment, we’re using it outside on grass/concrete, so will probably buy an exercise mat to avoid damaging the coating on the bottom the rope against harsh surfaces.
After 15 mins, she’s working up a sweat in the back garden, and so it is providing a decent full-body cardio workout as desired. It’s such a simple but effective piece of exercise equipment and a good price. Jumping rope is not as easy as it looks! Certainly feeling the burn! But isn’t that the whole point?
The product itself is very nice and looks sturdy. I’m pleased with it. Just a couple of things I noticed I’m not entirely satisfied. In the manual it mention the content of the package includes 6 plastic tatches, but it only includes 2. On the other hand, Amazon guy delivered the package in the entrance of the building instead of my flat door which is usually how they deliver everything, well the package was open, although the bag cointaining the skipping rope was sealed. I’d like to receive all my items at my door, mainly when I’m not available. Thanks
I like this product. I used to skip rope a lot when I was younger and boxing (and I used everything, from actual rope to guitar’s jack cable). During the lockdown, since there is no swimming pool open (yes, I switched to swimming at some point in my life due to the less heavy impact on joints) I went back to skipping rope and bought this product. It’s perfect for beginner to intermediate. It allows fast skipping as well as slower. The weight and handles are good enough to allow you several tricks. Also is great that allows you to adjust the length of the cable (I didn’t need to, but it’s nice to have it). The handles are actually very good. The memory foam makes it for a good grip. Unfortunately I broke it after a couple of months of heavy use (1hr a day for 5 days a week). The cable inside the cover snapped. I could have put it back with the remaining cable but than the rope would become too short. I bought it again since I found myself really well with this product.
These are reusable and you get 4 spare stoppers. I has to move them a few times until the length was right. These are hidden inside the handle.
The handle grips are like thick sponge and give good comfortable grip.
No need to explain how to skip but once you get the hang of it I would say they work well.
Just the right weight and I would recommend them
Bought for myself to help get fit. Light, easy to hold and easy to adjust to size. Only thing that is negative is that it really hurts if it slaps against your leg!!
Happy with this skipping rope, have never owned one and felt like it would be a good addition to my training. This one was easy to set to the right length and is strong and lightweight with good handles.

I bought it for both my husband and I to use. It’s great as it’s easy to adjust the length. Just pop off the ends of the handles to adjust length. Excess wire can be fed back into the handles to avoid cutting if you want to extend it later for someone else.

This rope is awesome! It is convenient that we can adjust the length. Once adjusted, it stays securely in place. What impressed me most is that the handles are very comfortable and you can keep your grip when your hands sweat.

The jump rope comes very long (I am 5’9″, and it was way too long for me); and while there were no instructions in the package, luckily I found pictures in the original Amazon product posting for how to shorten the rope (they have a brilliant system for changing the length of the rope). So now it’s perfect!
The skipping rope arrived before the estimated date which was great and it is good quality and easy to adjust for your height. Would definitely recommend!
Delivery was fast and everything came as expected. Adjusting the length was pretty easy, handles are comfortable with good grip and rotation is smooth. Unfortunately the rope snapped after 1,5 month but reseller was happy to offer full refund after asking a couple of questions.
For under 10 it’s pretty good value for money.

The rope is a good thickness for beginners, not too thin that there’s no feedback, but plenty thin enough that it’s not too heavy and easily jumpable with only a tiny hop.
The wire rope is mostly easily adjustable, the caps were a little fiddle-y getting off first time, and can add sand or something in the handles if you want it slightly weightier for more of a challenge.
The rope seems durable enough, but is better if used indoors as I’m seeing signs of wear after a few days outside on pavement.
Overall, definitely recommend for a first rope proper jump rope.
As I am someone who has been sitting on his bottom for many years at work I decided that I had to do more exercise. Joining the gym/leisure club some 20 years ago ! was a good move and I decided that the days I did not go to the gym do swimming was a good opportunity for me to do some exercise at home and I chose skipping on our back patio.
This is an excellent exercise as it give you a good cardio and respiratory workout — essential in these troubled times. It’s also possible of course to do as many as one wishes and to go as fast as I can. I also set myself little goals where for instance I am not allowed to start breathing through my mouth until I have done the first 200.
I an very grateful to Amazon logistics and Gritin as after advising that it was out of stock and there would be a bit of a delay — they upgraded their delivery and it was overnighted so that in effect there was no break in my skipping routine as of course I have had to ramp it up with the gym being closed.
Please note skipping on a stone surface patio is not ideal. It’s not ideal for your joints and also it’s not ideal for the skipping rope or wire as sooner or later it wears and breaks.
The new rope is of a wonderful length which for a shorter bloke like me can be easily adjusted. It’s the usual design that I like of a heavy gauge wire covered in a plastic or polythene sheath. This feels good and works well. The hollow handles are easy to hold and are made from a nice spongy material that is easy to grip and comfortable. They have nice bearings so that the rope whizzes round easily enough. The hollow nature of the grip also means that you can pull the excess length of wire through, shorten it and then re-assemble the stopper on the end of the handle.
It’s a good design and if you are skipping indoors on a mat perhaps then it’s absolutely fine. For me, skipping on the patio the following observations apply.
It’s not as heavy gauge as my old one — bought via Amazon some years ago. This means the wind and the unevenness of the patio can make the rope fly up or drift as you skip along. Even wind will affect it and I find myself having to stop as I have it caught round my feet ! Not a good look ! Also the lighter weight of the wire means that it does not travel as quickly as I would like especially when I start to speed up. The wire rope seems a bit floppy especially when there is a wind and I am having to concentrate more than I would like on my feet and the position of the rope.
The handles are okay but my old ones with the shaped grips that were firmer were better suited in my mind as I tend to grip it harder as I get into it and the spongy consistency of the handles makes this less pleasing.
Please don’t think this is a bad rope. Its perfect for those of skipping indoors on a mat perhaps.Moreover, I am sure when I have been using it for some time it will be fine but for now I am missing my old one but of course grateful to be able to continue with my activities in these tricky times and of course to Amazon logistics, Gritin for wonderful, prompt delivery.
Looks and feels of high quality. Durability remains to be seen, but if the effort required to cut through the centre wire cord in order to shorten the rope is anything to go by then they should last for ages.
The skipping rope is very well made and easy to adjust its length for best use. The delivery time was better than stated when ordered.

In an effort to keep fit whilst my gym is closed I bought this skipping rope. It was easy to adjust although I needed wire cutters to shorten it. The weight is just right as lighter ones get tangled easily. But this is a quality product.

Ive bough this to continue doing some exercise since the lockdown and it is very easy to use, does not hurt the hands when doing rotational movement and it is light weight.
I’m a flat dweller and really needed something simple to exercise with during self isolating. These have turned out perfectly. Easy to adjust the length for us shorties with household pliers. Not sure how the folks downstairs are enjoying them though. However I have asked them to let me know if it’s annoying them – and they’ve kindly said not!
Good value jump rope. Light and straightforward to adjust although a shorter person will need wire cutters to get to the right length. Very light, should be used in closed area only as might get swinged if there is wind. I have tried to do in the gym and it is fabulous.
It was quite durable, it lasted a yea. It was pretty light, light enough to do double under’s.And the memory foam makes it easy to hold too.
Purchased this as the ones at my gym are plastic. This is far superior and so much easier to use. It doesn’t tangle like the plastic version seems to when using.

Good product works for what it’s intended and easy to use would recommend you make sure you cut the cord as per instruction or you will get hurt or mess it up
The skipping rope arrived on time and not over-packaged by Amazon which was nice to see. I haven’t done any actual skipping yet but everything else looks good. The handles are soft and padded so even a firm gripper will find them comfortable to hold and they don’t feel heavy in the hands. If something comes up when they are tested I will update my review.

The two skipping ropes arrived speedily and were as desired. They have been given as presents to friends and I have heard no comments one way or another about how they are getting on. Just presuming that no news is good news.
So today I’ve decided to start skipping after a year away. My rope has never been subjected to moisture of any kind and is safely stored when not used.
The rope has broken off at the exact point where it makes contact with the bearings. First one side and then the other. Now the rope is too short for me to use. I’m a little bit disappointed as this an unexpected point of failure. The plastic where the rope hits the concrete while I skip is still in decent condition and it was a good rope to skip with.
The handles are covered in foam so provide a soft non slip grip. It’s lightweight considering the rope is made from steel covered in plastic and making adjustments is really simple and there are extra locking tabs which hold the adjustment in place incase some gets damaged.
The rope has lasted so far with light to moderate use (10 mins 3-5 times a week some weeks) on concrete and the plastic sheath shows little signs of wear and the bearings are still turning smoothly.
Really good speed rope that can make me look like I know what I’m doing sometimes.
Purchased these as I want to get back into skipping. Look like a great quality product and I was really happy with them. The only small gripe I have is that you need some good quality wire cutters in order to cut them down to size, this is only an issue because I didn’t have any but speaks positively about the quality.

When I got this the handles and shortening mechanism looked suspiciously bad quality, but when I use it everything feels secure and weighted well. Great product. I use it daily and take it with me on trips, has changed my life for under ten quid.
I tried the beast rope first and after few weeks getting used jumping rope, which I’d never done before, I wanted to try a heavier rope because I heard it was better for burning calories this looked a thicker rope in the picture and it is. I would say it’s about twice as thick. My conclusion from using both is I really like both ropes but the beast rope was easier for first starting out and is a bit easier to adjust. This is going to come into it’s own shortly when I get better and want a more difficult workout.
I purchased this skip rope to add to my workout program at the gym and used it for the first time today…… I had no issues adjusting the length, with a good pair of pliers.
It does not come with a storage bag like some other brands however the sealable plastic pouch it is sold in can easily be used to store the skip rope between usages.
That said, the pouch is plastic so do not expect too much in terms of its durability.

I love this skipping rope, I wanted a skipping rope that I could adjust easily. This allowed me to do that by opening both handles adjust to desired length then stuff the left overs back into each handle. The rope is strong and of very good quality.
Good jump rope for beginners. The only issue I had was to cut the rope. I tried with a wire cutter and scissors but I couldn’t cut it. Finally I somehow bent the rope and stuffed it into the hollow handles.i still needed to shorten the rope so I made knots which worked well. Also, the foam on the handles smell weird. Other than that, it’s perfect, has a little indentation at the top of the handle which is very helpful to hold the rope towards the wire.
Bought for my 12 year old grandson for boxing training. Needed to shorten rope, no problem took plugs out of handles pulled rope through pushed plastic stop pieces up to required length and cut off excess. Good pair of wire cutters and strong hands needed. Really good skipping rope for that age group and upwards. Value for money
Not had it too long but has proven good so far. Is decent quality. Good length, haven’t needed to adjust it but is fairly straightforward bottom comes off easy and is not too fiddly. Looking forward to using this more for active rest days with my running.
Skipping rope generally designed for speed when skipping. Material is divided into two which has one strong external transparent wire.
Even cutting to a shorter size was difficult which shows how strong the material is made of.
I would recommend this on the basis of speed. Wire is quite thin compared to other ropes and coming into contact with the rope while skipping can actually give a sting.

It can be held nicely and doesn’t hurt your hands, sometimes adjustment is the main concern, the way is design, you got cut the excess away then force a plastic cone shape way in the hollow handle to secure it, thus my main issue with this, if they can redesign to make it easier to adjust to fit individual by using securing screw type which can then be hidden in the handle, it would be very perfect jump rope, well done.
Good quality rope light handles. No instructions on how to adjyst lwngth of rope with product. Leaflet with product dorects you tp a support site unable to get help there. Went onto youtube and found a fifferent rope with unscrewable ends on handles.
Looked at handles and could just about make out end cap could come off. Shortening rope as difficult as hard to cut.I ended up having to push excess onside handles.

It feels like real good quality and the handles are soft to hold. The first thing we noticed was that it was a little bit long, so we had to adjust it. My son is 5′ 11″ tall and we took about 10 inches off, it is now fine. You just have to pull the end off of one handle and pull it through to cut it off with some snips. Spins really easily with the line being just the right weight.
The rope is like a wire with plastic round which just springs back to normal when pulled out of shape.

Lightweight, with comfortable grips (slide the paper covers off first). Easy to adjust length – pop the end caps off the handle, then move supplied plastic ‘stops’ to adjust length. Cut cable with a pair of side cutters. Cable spins around very freely (read quickly) with the bearing units in the handles. Doesn’t come with any instructions to speak of, just a little multi-language leaflet asking for a review and that it has a ‘lifetime’ warranty…
I’m sure the more expensive equivalents are great, but for the money, this will be just fine to improve my fitness.
A great purchase. Lightweight to hold but heavy enough that it turns and keeps it’s shape without the weather affecting it. It has hollow handles to hold the extra rope if you choose to shorten the length. It has everything you need in a good skipping rope for a cardio workout.

I bought these ropes to help with weight loss and not being a sporty person I didn’t realise the difference between these and an ordinary skipping rope. These are exellent. They are easy to adjust length-wise and I can easily do reps of 20 fast skips. I would definitely recommend them.
Overall, a quality piece of kit that I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about incorporating cardio into their workout.
