I like this but it’s only really good for hard floors and no use for animal fur.
Lightweight enough for stairs, hold power well, good for a smaller house
How long it will last only time will tell, all in all I’m pleased with my purchase.

So easy to use, as an older person title effort is required and does a superb job. Folds away so small storage is not a problem. Highly recommended and that’s from the boss of the house.
The dust bags are tiny and my first one was full in no time, so I pulled the contents out and refitted it. I do wish I had worn a mask. Now it is nearly full again and the battery is still on its first charge. It shows how efficient it is but the seven bags per year suggestion is a bit disingenuous.
To address a couple of other reviewers complaints:
Re the two year warranty, there is a Gtech web address on the front of the machine for warranty information and problem solving. Go to them. The Amazon return date is for people who have changed their minds about an unopened product. Amazon will still replace faulty goods if you persevere and find out which desk customer services are currently hiding under.
As for the roller popping out, a simple read of the manual will tell you that the roller is designed to pop out when it’s overloaded with hair. The button will pop out and roller stops spinning as it becomes disengaged from the motor spindle. In my case the roller was overloaded so quickly that the clip holding it in was rotated and the roller jumped out of the side of the machine.
Remove the roller from the machine by rotating the clip to “Unlocked”, clean it using the supplied hair cutter and comb and then push it back into the machine and rotate the clip to “locked”.
It is battery powered. It uses a rechargeable lithium battery. You have to charge it when it “won’t start up”. Plug the supplied charger unit into a wall socket outlet. Plug the charger lead into the back of the battery.
Wait until the green G on the battery stops flashing and shows solid green.
I would definitely recommend this product. It is brilliant!
I just love this small and very lightweight hoover. Very powerful for its size. Makes light work on my hard floors. Strongly recommend it.
Lightweight, fast, manoeuvrable, long battery life and perfect for the stairs.
While this would be no good for cleaning a whole house unless you want to keep changing the very small bags which can’t easily be emptied to reuse.
Once said it is very light weight and excellent for stairs and similar small areas. It comes complete with a duster which clips on but does not connect to the suction so it seems more of a gimmick than useful.
Moved in to a little apartment and it’s one of the best things I’ve bought. Lightweight, works perfect on tile, rugs, wood floor and carpet. Nice and little so tucks away nicely. Just what I needed.
Best of all it’s light, easy to use and fits under furniture easily. Easy detachable accessories. On the whole a great little hoover that does a reasonable job. Perfect for anyone who is older.
I bought this for my mother who could not manage an upright vacuum cleaner any longer. She was very wary about the size of this cleaner, especially the bag which seemed far too small to collect much dust, but apparently it will last a long time. Hopefully this is correct. I used it and was very happy with the suction.
Nice little compact hoover decent suction and realy lightweight great for quick cleanups but there is no hose or attachments to get into the corners overall a good buy

This is brilliant for whizzing round the house between big cleans. Just for daily vacuuming. I have a shoulder problem so it’s perfect, light weight and easy to use. not designed for large areas.
It’s as light as a feather, the suction is amazing (the best I’ve ever had) I use it on carpets and the kitchen floor (using a brush is a thing of the past) AMAZING. FANTASTIC, A LITTLE GEM.
Bought this for my caravan and I love it, nice long handle but very compact when handle is down. The head gets under furniture so easy. I’ve noticed it’s gone up 20 since I bought mine a few weeks ago.
Insanely small. Could fold it up into a backpack! Very strong suction and clever airlock system allows for suction of large chunks on the push, and small dust on the pull. I bought this vacuum to replace a powered Gtech sweeper that gave up the ghost after 11 years. I wanted it to clean the tiled floors on the ground floor of my home.. For this job it is ace. Good suction and very manouverable into corners. The bag is VERY small but as I’m generally just sucking up crumbs and other small bits and pieces off solid floors I don’t think the bag size will worry me.. I don’t intend to use this cleaner for stairs and hairs aren’t much of an issue as there are no pets in my house.
I moved Hylite 1 upstairs and kept Hylite 2 downstairs, the perfect combination.

Love this hoover, it is so quick, easy and convenient to use. It can’t handle big, very quickly dirtied areas too well as it is a small bag system, but for my purposes (tiny house!) it is great. I find the removable head fabulous- been great for doing the car and sofa, and made for stairs!! Really great bit of kit! Bought one for my (elderly) parents to use as a light and easy vacuum for their stairs and hallway etc.
Live this product. The fact you canbuse the hand held part to clean beds, sofa etc is great. Also it is so compact-able I would recommend to anyone.
