After being pulled for over 8 years while walking my dog, I can FINALLY have an enjoyable walk! I put the Haiti harness on my dog and it was a miracle, she didn’t pull; it’s like she instinctively knew not to pull! I will say she didn’t like it and was shaking her head when I first put it on, but I just calmly talked to her and told her what a good girl she was and said “no” when she shook her head. My dog is afraid of everything and was always yanking me this way and that way and almost pulled me over several times (even though she is a small dog). But not with the Halti harness! She’s able to walk without pulling me when trucks drive by and when we pass houses under construction (the nail guns used to really make her pull). After day 2 of using the harness, she has adjusted to it just fine!

I know others said their dogs were able to get the nose piece off with their paws, but thankfully I didn’t have that issue. I think the key is to be sure to get the correct size; you don’t want it to be too tight or too loose, so be sure to pay particular attention to the sizing chart. I am truly happy with this purchase and highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Works so well, takes a little getting used to for them, but works like a dream.

Helps with pulling, but rubs head against leg and ground, gradually getting more used to and have found more helpful than not. Good side: easy to fit and put on and off. I don’t use all the time as would like to gradually wean off..

Stopped my dog pulling. Initially she didn’t like it but soon got used to it. Padded nose strap so no rubbing. For extra security a strap clips on to dogs own lead. No more pulling or strangling. Can be adjusted for perfect fit.

Second halti I have bought for my husky cross, gives excellent control.

Here’s my 7 month old boy, playing with his best pal.

I originally orders a Size 2 halti for my whippet lurcher but it was a little too big behind the ears. I had to secure it with a band. I went down to a 1 and it fits better.

It’s a strong, durable halti, and a nice colour. It was a reasonable price and it does its job. My dog doesn’t pull as badly anymore.

Great halti but check your sizing.

These are absolutely brilliant if you have a pulley dog, transforms what used to be a chore of a walk into something quite enjoyable. The ‘halti’ ones are the ones to buy, I have used other cheaper versions in the past and found they were not as good, the mechanics were different, in short these work and you will take back control from your dog!

This is an amazing product. After years of being pulled along by my dog, he is now trotting perfectly beside me. My dog initially hated having this on, but once he got used to it, it worked a treat. I’m hoping in time that I won’t need it, but until then it does the job brilliantly.

  11. MacHOKpqtwi says:

Our cavachon always pulled on the lead. Using the halti he was a different pooch, happy to trot along by side. Even though he has a short snout, it doesn’t come off (he did try the first few times.)

  12. OuhoutiYjb says:

Our lurcher now behaves well when we have him on the Halti and walks calmly right next to me. The problem arises if something provokes him, like seeing a cat. then he starts pulling. But under normal circumstances he is calmer and well behaved when he has it on. I think it is a good product and I would recommend it.

A little dog and this actually helps her to feel less stressed. She used to spin around when other dogs were around, we couldn’t control her. She was watching the other dogs, fearful. Now, after using the halti for a few weeks, she barely glances at other dogs. She has confidence in us assessing the threat so she relaxes. Makes walking her much more pleasurable.

Once you get the hang of how to put this on the dog correctly it does what it promises and works perfectly. Taking the dog out is so much easier and pleasurable with the pulling .

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI feel like I’ve just experienced a miracle! My dog who usually pulls my arm out of my socket, was walking beside me like a champion! She didn’t even get excited & jump about when I stopped to talk to another dog owner. Ok, she wasn’t keen on the halter over her nose & for maybe five minuted tried to shake it off. After that she just settled into walking with me – it was that quick! I even checked to see if she was still there! There were a couple of attempts to remove it again, but not much. I think my spaniel is really quite smart and realises its the best way to get a good walk.

Me ha gustado mucho y cumple las expectativas que esperaba, lo nico malo ha sido el tallaje para la zona que engancha la cabeza, por lo que sea mi perra por ms que se lo ajusto le sobra un montn, y he tenido que darle unas puntadas.

Used the Halti headcollar today for the first time on my 2 1/2 year old dog. Always pulled every walk – until today!! Wow. An immediate massive improvement. Walking was not fun but both walks today hugely more enjoyable.

Good product and fits my four month old border collie, it’s helping to stop pulling and lunging at cars but you also need to reward the good behaviour and not just rely on a training aid.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEste invento es sencillo pero genial.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOur pup is 10 months old and will eat anything off the ground, be it poop, plastic, trash, etc., to the point we had to take her to the vet. Vet suggested a head collar to control the snout. Starla is a 30 lbs mix of pit, lab, pom, bulldog, and lhasa apso. She has a small head and snout, so we ordered a size 1. It fits well! We were able to tighten it around her head a little, and it fits snug. I like the ring under her jaw so it’s not always tight—she can pant (we live in Florida aka it’s always hot). I also like the safety clip. I passed on another brand just to have it. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it looks like there’s supposed to be a black nose pad for comfort, but there isn’t. Wish there was, because this head collar does leave an indent on our pup’s snout. Overall, it does its job. It give us control over her snout so she can’t eat stuff off the ground.

I bought a size 2 for my 35 pound Border Collie cross it fit her but was too big for the 40 pound and growing Border Collie. I bought the size 1 for the 40 pound Border Collie puppy with the big nose. I adjusted it as small as it goes. It was still too big. . It’s not the product. It’s the dog but I can’t give it the highest rating because of this. I do like it for dogs that pull. These work really well on pulling and are not harmful to the dogs. Harnesses teach pulling!

With a jack Russell that I regimes 4 years ago he pulls and pulls ! I’ve tried everything harness, bungee lead, check chains, different collar, different lead. Finally this is the answer what a difference in him now. With the added spongy lining round the muzzle part it’s reassuring that it’s not hurting him.

If you can handle people looking at you and thinking your dog might be vicious then please try one of these. They are great products. They allow the dog to breath, eat, drink, play etc. but allow you to control their walking much easier. They don’t hurt the dog (check how to properly fit one online) and after the dog is trained, they can be switched into a harness/normal collar.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought this for my young Whippet who has turned into a strong teenager. After nearly being dragged through bushes with him trying to chase a squirrel and having 3 Whippets to hold back, I decided a Halti is a must. I was always one to think a harness is the kindest option but with 3 on harnesses they have full strength behind them and lead walking was becoming a nightmare. I don’t need Haltis for my older Whippets but for my younger one it’s perfect whilst he’s still flighty. It fits him well, it doesn’t ride up over his eyes and now we can see cats, squirrels and anything else without me getting my arms pulled out of their sockets. I bought the Halti training lead to go with this and they work a treat. A must have for anyone with a strong dog, would highly recommend

My 3 year old Border Collie was a nightmare to walk on a lead when beginning our walk to the park. She gets so excited & enthusiastic about reaching our destination her pulling was becoming extreme to the point which she pulled so hard she injured my shoulder. I bought a Halti when she was 1, it didn’t work, through my own fault though. I didn’t follow the correct instructions of using the Halti and it failed, since buying this 3 months ago my dog now walks perfectly when wearing it and it doesn’t bother her. If used correctly, this is a great product. Delivery was swift, thanks.

Having struggled with my dog pulling on the lead whether it was with a neck collar or harness, I purchased a halti head collar and I have to say I wish I had bought one when I first had her. It has made walking an absolute pleasure. It does seem to irritate her sometimes and she likes to rub her face on the ground but a little bit of irritation is worth the pleasant walks. It doesn’t rub round her nose or ears and fits well. This the second Halti head collar I have bought and decided to buy the brown one next as it complements her blonde hair. The only criticism I have is that there is not a collar or lead to match the brown halti.

OK, it does what it says on the tin, but on a small dog, you get too many comments and it makes your dog look as if they are muzzled and therefore vicious, my dog hates it and avoids putting it on at all costs, and even stopped liking going for a walk.
