Crazy price for the quality
Having spent around 100+ on big brands in the past and spilling curry on them I figured I’d just get a cheap mechanical one. Turns out it’s the best keyboard I’ve ever owned. I should have got 2 and kept 1 in the cupboard with my sock

Great build quality.
Really clicky and responsive keys. RGB works well and a quick google search showed how to adjust the colour, brightness etc as not app / PC controlled. If you blue switches, you’ll love the way this feels, if you’re not a mechanical keyboard user, give it a try, it feels great.

Looks nice but also noisy
I got this as well as o rings as the keyboard is really loud, the mouse is OK to use but not for everyone. Good value for money but still early days, well see if it lasts.

Great Feel but rather loud
This keyboard is great for a first mechanical keyboard as it was for myself. It feels great to use, both for gaming and typing. However, my issue with this keyboard doesn’t come with feel but with sound. It is rather loud, and to start with this wasn’t a big deal, but as an MMO player with many keybinds and pressing keys rather quickly the noise started to grate on me, even over my noise cancelling headphones. If you can put up with this noise then the keyboard is great.

Pretty good for aesthetic, but a bit noisy
The product looks absolutely great with all the RGB lights. All keys sound satisfying, except from the space bar. It makes a very annoying sound and it sounds likes it’s loose. Only complain.

Nice 'Clicky' keyboard
If you want a keyboard that sounds like the ones in the movies where people hit keys at random and miraculously coherent text appears on the screen then this is for you.
Feels very solidly built, full sized keyboard and a good positive feel to the key pressing. It is a blue type so is loud (I like that, I’ve got heavy fingers so it’s a nice clunky typing experience)
It would probably be too loud for an office situation as you would probably be getting annoyed looks.

I’ve not tried the mouse as it was superfluous as I use a trackball but if it’s as well made as the keyboard seems then I’ve got no doubt it would be a good mouse.

There is a gripe though, to me it isn’t a proper RGB keyboard, the lighting is just a rainbow across the width of the keys, so each key has only got one colour, compared to a 65% keyboard my wife has just bought that has more lighting options. Saying that I didn’t buy it for the RGB lighting, and most of the time I have it switched off anyway. I’ve had a quick play with them as you do with something new, and there’s plenty of options for flashing, sweeping, certain keys only lit up etc, but if you do want a full RGB keyboard then this isn’t one for you.

But for under 30 for a mechanical keyboard and mouse it’s a real bargain.

As Expected
The KB is as expected in terms of quality, and I am pleased with it. The mouse is also good, just make sure to remove the underlying plastic films to allow for a smooth movement. Currently I have no complains!

Work and play
Looks good, very responsive. Great value for the money. using it for work as I prefer a slim but chunky keyboard.

Initials impressions: Very good
Please note that this is a ‘day one’ review – and I will update if necessary.

I’m a 90’s kid and grew up with keyboards that were quite different than the trendy, silent, membrane keyboards that seem to plague OEM machines these days (both in the office and at home). I also remembered that I was a much better typist as a kid than as an adult (although I do a lot more typing in my job now). Turns out the keyboards were the issue – who knew?

This keyboard makes a mockery of overpriced Logitech keyboards (of which I have been through half a dozen due to them breaking or just being plain cr*p), and even a 90 Corsair membrane keyboard. It has an excellent build quality; quite weighty and robust. The ‘clicks’ do have a metallic ‘twang’ about it, and I would think long and hard before buying this for the office as *it will annoy other people* – but if you’re like me and work from home, this is quite an essential buy. Though the lighting is a bit ‘meh’ it’s useful for those late evenings trying to meet a deadline…

So far this is a great buy.

Keyboard
Negatives: LEDs aren’t bright in direct sunlight, some become dimmer/off (don’t know which), clicking may be too loud for some people, alt key on right hand side of the spacebar is not also labelled as Alt Gr
Positives: Half-decent price, quality is good enough, keys seem to need similar pressures to be applied to work, shows both US AND UK layouts, and | are both clear, speeds and brightnesses for the animations are controllable, clicks are satisfying (for me), light enough (in weight/mass) to use on my lap, toggleable lock for the Windows key, keys can be removed without difficulty, braided (and therefore protected) cable, many patterns for the animation

Mouse
Negatives: no magnetic weights (though it is the right way for me)
Positives: Easily accessible mouse buttons four and five, controllable sensitivity (DPI (Dots per Inch) button controls sensitivity) with preset values (may be able to control it finely) that are shown with colours – I use the green preset with no mouse acceleration, the mouse looks distinctive, there are multiple types of mouse light animations, the logo lights up.

Overall, I would recommend this set, and from what I’ve heard, the customer service of Havit is good (though I have not needed to contact them about anything). The price may seem a bit pricey, but I think that it was worth it – there is a reason why there are so many 4-and-5 star reviews.

Pretty decent keyboard for working and gaming
I needed a new keyboard, but the budget was tight and didn’t really expect much, but this keyboard is actually surprisingly good. The keys make a nice sound and feel nice when pressed, as well as a great feature for gaming. This feature for gaming is the ability to lock the windows key meaning if you accidentally press it during a game you won’t get the menu pop up as it doesn’t react to being pressed when locked. The LEDs could be a little brighter. It doesn’t really feel all that ergonomic since it’s got a standard layout.

Overall its a decent product and I would recommend it, although I’m not sure about the key switches lifespan as it’s only a recent purchase.

Great keyboard!
if you want a great affordable mechanical keyboard then this product is right down you alley! I have had this product for about a month or two now and I have only found one issue with it and it is slight. The one problem with this keyboard that I have found over the month or two of owning this product is that it wobbles not so much as that it will get in your way it’s just really annoying its nothing that should stop you from buying this product as again i would highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for an affordable mechanical keyboard!

Decent keyboard for those living in the real world...
To be clear…. this isn’t a 200 quid mechanical keyboard, it was 26 on Prime day and included a mouse. People need to adjust their expectations here…. but yes for those who are derelict enough to want the perfect setup for sub-30 quid, I’ll list the obvious defects: The RGB keys are washed out by sunlight, the mouse sensitivity is a bit awkward to tweak (awkward, not hard or difficult, awkward at most) and the cables are far too short. That’s it….. for 26.
I absolutely hammer this thing day in day out, as I got it for working from home and it seems to be handling the abuse no problem. I’m a fast typer and it sounds like an AK47 when I’m going for it, yet it’s a pleasure to use on the whole. It’s responsive, tactile and I’m yet to experience any of the malfunctions or problems that others have spoke about. I suspect the quality is hit and miss and those that fail do within the first few days/weeks. This one I’ve now been smashing for 2-3 months straight and it doesn’t seem to have a problem at all and I will be using mine a lot more than some of those in this review section.

The only reason I’ve given it 4* is because the Prime day offer means I was strong-armed into buying the Keyboard + Mouse combo and the Mouse is the weak point here. It’s a cheap attempt at a gamers mouse, but it’s all fur coat and no knickers. The RGB colours are cool but I suspect as an actual mouse isn’t really up to the job for most committed gamers (I’m not actually a gamer though) because it’s quite cheaply made and the sensitivity has very broad brush intervals that go from low to high. I was ultimately able to make it work very nicely for day-to-day by setting it to the highest sensitivity setting and then tweaking the Windows (and Linux) software settings but I suspect gamers will find that irritating. The keyboard I suspect would have no problem in a gamers world.
