Bought this to connect from my PC to an LG C3 OLED TV. As the picture shows, it is capable of running at 4k 120Hz with HDR and YCbCr444 so I’m very happy.
The cable itself feels very premium with the braiding and was packaged nicely.
Amazon saved the day
So my darling husband, randomly told me there’s different hdmi cables, I had no idea, our Xbox X (the new one, but we do have the older x type Xbox too, technology isn’t my thing) needs a hdmi 2 cable, so we went shops in search for one but had zero success most didn’t say which cable it was. Great value for money product, firm and durable material. I didn’t see any basic difference on picture quality, however I got rid of some of the interference and grain effect from my previous cable connection.
A high quality well made cable that is backwards compatible with all earlier versions of this type.
Well made. HDMI cables, especially those provided for free can fail. HDCP can fail to be detected and the screen image and sound can simply black out. When this happens swopping cables can show the fault moving with the cable (and ultimately into the bin). So this was a replacement and so far has worked just fine on a blue ray DVD player. A good cable like this will work if you upgrade the equipment at some point in the future. Highly recommended.
Does what it says
Does what it says. Seems to have some magnetic force that can make USB devices freak out though so have had to stop using on PC. Which I bought it for. So perhaps 4 stars is generous. 4K 120hz perfect picture when it works though.
Works great with my new gaming PC & 144Hz 55" TV
I bought this HDMI cable as I needed to get a new cable so I could get the most out of my new 4K gaming PC and a new 144Hz TV.
The picture quality is crystal clear and the sound quality is great too.
The main reason I wanted this cable is my old cable was only capable of 60Hz (60 frames per second) whilst this cable is capable of 120 -144Hz, so I am now getting the frames per second that my graphics card is capable of – 120 frames per second plus on my new 4K TV.
Works perfectly
I use this cable to connect my laptop to a second monitor, and it is extremely useful. Feels sturdy and the length is good. Bought it after my previous HDMI cable snapped at the port. Works for my 1080p monitor absolutely perfectly, with the image quality being as good as my old cable.
