I brought this for a trip to Europe not knowing for sure if I would need it. It ended up raining all day in Stockholm. This coat kept me dry. The hood fits around the face so it didn’t blow off in the wind or let rain get in. Worth it. I went by the advice and got a Large even though I normally wear a medium size. Honestly, probably could have ordered the medium and been fine.
I purchased a small because other people thought the coat ran small. I wear an xsmall to a small. the small was too big the xsmall has plenty of room. My thought is the smaller sizes are acurately sized and the larger sizes run small. Ironically since purchasing the coat it has not rained hard just a drizzle so i can’t accuraley determine its water proofness.
Je suis trs heureuse de mon nouveau manteau. Belle longueur, bien ajust et les manches sont assez longues. Je craignais que les manches soient trop courtes mais ce n’est pas le cas.
Bought this jacket for a trip to London. It never rained so I wasn’t able to test that feature of the jacket. It did cut the strong wind at Stonehenge. It was comfortable, has warm pockets and not too bulky, making it easy for travel. I’m so glad I purchased this jacket. It hopefully will be good for tailgating on rainy/windy days during football season as well.

Received compliments on its stylishness. Practical and useful. Held up blowing rain! Drawstring around hood was very effective. Length kept my core and hips dry. Zipper and snaps on front were waterproof. Snaps around wrist worked well. Was on sandy wet beach and got muddy trying to clean up dog. Brushed off cleanly when coat was dry.
Love this jacket. Is a great lined shell, perfect for WestCoast spring.
Fits a little on the small side. Measure up if you like to layer.
Like the light , longer jacket, keeps you dry & looks good– fits perfectly without without layers.

I’m, 5’7″ and a little curvy. I purchased this lightly lined shell, oversized to accommodate layers and handle rain and cold in urban Seattle over Christmas. On me, it hits mid-thigh, so my butt stays dry. I live in CA, so I needed it to be adaptable to milder conditions (45-50) as well. When we got to Seattle on Christmas Eve day, it was raining and cold — about 40 degrees. The coat was cozy — completely water- and wind proof. Overnight it snowed and the temps dropped to between 20-25. We had an authentic white Christmas! I layered it up with fleece-lined water resistant leggings, polypro base layer top, HH Polartec fleece pullover,
Bean’s Polartec vest, Polartec hat, scarf and gloves. The weather remained snowy, icy, cold and windy until we left on the 29th. I remained warm, dry and happy as a clam for the duration! Back home I’m wearing it
‘around town’ as a casual shell over lighter winter clothes. It’s perfect.
I shopped for a long time for the right raincoat for my trip to Europe. This looks beautiful on, fits true to size and absolutely does the job to stay dry! I purchased both large and extra-large for comparison. The extra large would accommodate bulky sweaters, but also made me look a bit shapeless. I went with the large and decided to only wear thinner, merino wool sweaters underneath for warmth. It was the right choice! I have received a lot of compliments when wearing this raincoat. Beautiful quality. Worth the price.
Had to order a size up, in order to wear a jumper underneath, but very very pleased with the quality and length.
I got size S. Great and classy over office wear. Water resistant and wind breaker. Will require good layering for temperatures under 5 degrees.
It does the job. I am quite satisfied with it.

Wife loves dis coat got it fur Christmas cause other winter coat is so bulky great on skidoo but not so much in car lol so this one is warm n not bulky n looks great she loves it.

Largura perfecta,me gusta aunque no tenga forro pero con un jersey o sudadera debajo va perfecta.
Buena prenda, protege bien en la nieve aunque se necesita una segunda capa. No tiene bolsillo el la manga para forfait solo en los laterales. El problema del color blanco es que se mancha con facilidad y quitar las manchas es difcil.
Perfecto para media estacin e inclusive en invierno con un buen jersey. Buena calidad. El corte hace buena figura. Impermeable. Muy contenta con el producto.
I’ve had numerous jackets which claimed to be waterproof/rainproof. Some even worked fairly well but most were bulky and failed when the rain was at its worst. I recently wore this in a torrential downpour and I remained dry. It is very lightweight so can be easily packed away when not in use. I gave it 4/5 for flattering but let’s face it, it’s an anorak! I bought a size larger than usual to allow for a fleece underneath as there’s no thick insulating layer. All in it’s a nice, functional piece of kit, you get what you pay for.
I just love this coat. I had to size up, I normally take a large but sent that back and got the XL as I wanted to be able to wear a heavier sweater underneath. The long length is perfect and I love how the neck zips up high. The hood fits better than most hoods on coats.

This is an incredibly comfortable, form fitting, great rain coat! I recently traveled and was in many rain storms but the coat kept me dry. I love how it is long enough to cover my bum and all the stitching is covered to keep me dry. The style is beautiful and form fitting no matter what size you are. I am a size 14 with a large chest and the XL was perfect. I would highly recommend this raincoat. It is worth the money to keep completely dry!

So happy with this jacket. Lightweight, breathable and 100% waterproof. I have been wearing the Belfast design in the Winter for the last 3 years and it’s still in perfect condition. This one is perfect for Spring and Autumn and I got it at a fantastic price on Prime Day! Helly Hansen is such a good make!
I love this raincoat. Provides warmth though it is not heavy. I was most worried about the sizing because I am solidly in between a small and a medium and sizing always depends on the brand. 5’2″ and 120 pounds with broad shoulders. The medium is absolutely perfect. Roomy enough for layers but still slim looking.
UPDATE: So I’ve had this coat for about 6 months. And at least 50% of the time the zipper won’t work when I’m trying to zip up. Or it won’t unzip all the way and I’m left struggling to take it off. It is to the point that I dread the zipping moment when I’m in a restaurant. Will I stand there for 5 minutes struggling to zip my coat? Or off? Kinda puts me off wearing it.

Perfect rain jacket! It’s light and not warm but I purchased a bigger size that allows me to wear a sweater underneath, if needed. This brand runs small! I’m a small on most jackets but I’ve purchased medium and large for this HH brand
Very lightweight and extremely waterproof the only negative you have to wear a fleece in winter with it but I would recommend to anyone
Perfect light weight raincoat for warmer months or over a heavier jacket. I just got it and love the fit and style. I order a size up so I could fit comfortable fit a sweater or jacket under it. Great purchase so far.
I have had Helly Hansen products for years. Having moved to Phoenix from Montana I didn’t need to have a ski jackets anymore but spotted this and it’s perfect for our winter days in December and January. The coat is stylish and classy. I loved it so much I ordered one for my daughter. As usual with Helle go up one size.She usually wears a medium ordered a large and it fit. I get a large and ordered an extra large and it fit! It’s hanging in the closet waiting for next December and I know I will enjoy it!

Lightweight but sturdy. Excellent quality. I am a size 16. I am 5 feet 1 inch and 65kg so the coat comes to the middle of my knees. Coupled with wellies or boots I am well protected when out walking. Plenty room for layering, have worn it with 3 layers including a thin fleece and very comfortable. Not baggy without layers. Neck height is good and not tight or prone to scratching my face and the hood is adjustable. Bought for out walking in the rain but would look very smart in other circumstances.
Great jacket for walking, waterproof and more than warm enough. Split zip also makes driving in ot easy. So good this is the third one I have ordered.
Brilliant fit, with room to wear a fleece underneath when it is cold. Really waterproof so far and it has been very wet recently! I haven’t washed it yet. The hood is so comfortable and allows you to see to the sides just as they say.y5
The jacket is all round excellent – exactly what I wanted, in terms of weight, length, windproof and waterproof. I didn’t expect a hugely warm coat – I’d have bought a different one, had I wanted that.
It’s versatile, flattering and does what it’s meant to do.

This is a great rain jacket because it hits mid-thigh. The material is lightweight and it makes a perfect rain jacket – with something warm under it would be warm enough for quick trips in the winter. I love the look and feel.
Excellent jacket. Recommend. Helly Hansen is a brand I’m loyal to, their raincoats last 10+ years and are well designed. As much as I’m happy with this jacket, i do miss the days when Helly Hansen made detachable fleece liners for their windproof and waterproof jackets. I am pairing this jacket with a fleece that i bought from another HH jacket in 2002/2004. And it fits perfectly – – a benefit of HH consistent fit. However, i miss the snaps that would keep the sleeves and neck in place as i took off the jacket. I chose this model over the long Belfast jacket because this Auden has a packable hood, which folds into a stand up collar, thus preventing me from needing a neck scarf on some days.

The shoulders and body were too big for me I’m slim 5’10. So I’m getting it hemmed to fit my body better. Doesnt show metal snaps but they’re there. The ones around the wrist I like the least because the upper body was so big. But the hood and jacket is phenomenal if you get it in your right size. Still happy and keeping it I can see me wearing it. Just needs few adjustments

This was a lovely coat but expensive for what it was: It took an inordinate amount of time to be delivered and I returned it because the fit was not for me ; I had to pay 8 return postage and the refunds take between 3-4 weeks to process..still do not have my refund

This is the third jacket I’ve bought of this style. There is reduced padding and warmth but still a very good jacket.
I love this brilliant white jacket/coat. It feels smart and classy and can be dressed up and coordinated with with smart scarves and bags. Mine is roomy enough for sweaters underneath. I don’t like a heavy coat because I feel uncomfortable so this is perfect.
Will need a jumper in winter but it is waterproof and looks really nice on.

Excellent fit along with awesome length & hood!! A bit expencive but I know this simple rain jacket will last years and stay in style too – there is no drawstring at the waste line but easy to wear chunky sweaters easily
She is size 16 and 5 3. The XL was good shape with space for jumper in cold weather, but not baggy and shapeless. Knee length, and the extra stud button at cuff meant neat at wrists.
Delivered incredibly quickly. All in all, worth every penny so far.
I love the jacket. It keeps me dry, fits like the sizing says. Only thing I find that it doesn’t do is breathe. I sweat a lot in the jacket.
