Loving my new hoover. I have had a Henry and a Hetty, they have never gone wrong just got old and needed renewing and now this Numatic . They go on and on for years. Suction is brilliant and it’s handy having the tools on the base.
I ordered it on bank holiday Monday and it was delivered two days later, brilliant service when the estimated time for delivery was just over a week. So impressed with the quick delivery. Really recommend this very smiley Hoover.
The suction power is very strong and I love that it has a very long lead so no need to have to keep moving it to a closer plug I would definitely recommend this Henry Hoove
Powerful suction, but can be controlled with a leakage inlet. Only fault fiund is that the hose connections come apart too easily. This nedds to be remedied in future models.
We bought this to supplement our Shark cordless vacuum (which isn’t great at picking up pet hairs). The Numatic is a great cleaner. Really good suction and pick up, nice long flex, and easy to manoeuvre around. We bought a turbo head separately to go with it which improves performance on carpets. This is the best cleaner we have had in years.
Took us a while to change from an upright vacuum but we are so happy with the performance of this Henry Vacuum, we wish we’d had one sooner. Great sucking power and does a really good job.
I purchased a little while ago a cordless vacuum cleaner for more money than this Henry. I was cleaning my car the other day and suddenly it started making an awful noise and to be honest it wasn’t clean in the car that well. I came straight in doors and ordered a Henry and when it came I finished the job cleaning my car. I think I’ve recovered some of the money to pay for this Henry when it picked up all the loose change in the bottom of my car. A good old-fashioned hoover that picks up everything and not just dust leaving other bits there for you to sweep up. I will never purchase anything other than one of these in the future.
I want to marry this hoover. The suction power is unreal it’s extremely lightweight and easy to use and for the price it’s amazing I will never have another hoover in my life
The only thing is I thought it being a new hoover it would be quieter than my old henry, which I have had for many years, but the noise is unfortunately the same!
I have had Henry’s most of my life and would recommend them to anyone. The suction in these units is second to none much better than the uprights with many filters that you have to change . always use a decent bag go to collect the dust as that will protect your filter more. I also purchased the powered brush head to go with this as the carpet head that comes with it is ok for hard floors and Tiles but not that brilliant on carpet if you have a pet.
In the main, I’m happy with the vac, however, I was bitterly disappointed that there’s a dent on one of the tubes which was visible as soon as I took it out of the box.
The tubes were not wrapped separately which may have been the cause of the damage.
Though it’s not affecting the use of the machine, I do wonder if in time it will be an area that rusts.
I would like the part exchanged but there’s nothing on the website that gives that option. It seems to be only return the whole item.
That’s not an eco efficient option & it niggles me that I paid full price & it’s not perfect.
I’ve had to purchase 3 hoovers in the past 2 years so I was hoping and praying this purchase was my last – and it is! I’ve always heard good things about the Henry Hoovers and everyone is right to big them up!
Amazing! We had a Dyson that had barely any suction and got blocked up lifting anything at all.
We needed a hoover for a farm house with 3 children. (one that actually gets messy). I noticed that any place I had worked in used one of these so that’s why we chose a Henry.
This was such good value and such good quality product. It is very strongly built with great suction. The wind up for the lead makes it easy to tidy away. And I don’t find it too heavy to lift and I am petite.

Great Price. the suction on this little cleaner is amazing, it’s not the easiest to manoeuvre on carpets, the suction is very strong, and takes a bit of hard pushing to get it across a carpet, but, it certainly sucks everything in it’s path, not recommended for anyone who has difficulty with pushing hard.

I have bought numerous vacuums all supposed to be excellent for pets, as a household full of various furry, fluffy, scaly etc animals none have done the job until this. Highly recommend for daily use in animal loving homes!!!
Not much to say really. Henry products are functional and everyone should have one.
This model has a longer flex and bigger bags, more suited for office buildings. However large homes would find this a perfect choice.

I wish i had brought one of these years ago,everyone i know that has had a Henry always recommend them & any workmen that come to my house always use a Henry & there are good reasons for this.. This is so much better than the upright vax I had. with the long lead, I can plug it in & it will reach every part of my coach house easily,the hose & brush attachment easily reach all round the ceiling for getting rid of cobwebs too. The only thing i would say is if you are used to an upright then it takes a bit of pushing on a carpet due to the excellent suction,this can be reduced a bit by opening the valve on the handle. But if you want a hoover that picks up more dust etc,then this is to be expected.
This is amazing! I had an expensive dyson before which wasn’t nearly as good as this one! Great for reaching all the difficult to reach areas. Only problem is, suction is almost too strong sometimes and it can be difficult to move around the carpet.
Fab machine, so nice to have proper suction after the last rubbish hoover we had. Previously had a henry for years, last hoover lasted less than a year and was rubbish… henry only for me from now on!
love the hoover sevens to made of plastic not same material as my last 1.The handle fell of mine within 4 weeks having it , not broken came out clips and can’t get it on again leaving me having to try carry Hoover up and down stairs

Suction great but it’s new – all vacuumed are good to start , came with a cloth dust bag which was unclear when I ordered as I also ordered 2 more cloth bags but a spare will be handy . Only came with three adapters see pictures , needs an upholstery nozzle . Has an extra long cable for doing stairs or long corridors in one go
I have in the past few years wasted money on different vacuum cleaners, that seem to work well to start with but after a relative short period cannot do the basics let alone if you have a pet, I owned a Numatic Henry many years ago, but it went on to become a tool for my son’s business, I tried two other machines, one an upright, that was not cheap but kept over heating,( as reported by others who had also bought it, when I did the research) and you could only work on one room, before it stopped working, the other was the type of upright but the machine is held by the hand, with tools you attached, this was a total waste of Money, after a very short period, it could not even pick up crumbs on the kitchen floor. So I went back and brought a new Henry, and am thrilled I did, as it is so powerful and adaptable, that even cobweb clearing off the ceiling is a piece of cake, it is great on rugs, wood floor, kitchen floors in fact everything. I no longer have the frustration of spending so much energy and time trying to do it with machines that are useless.
Our 8 year old Henry (1200W) expired – in style – with a choking sound and a really bad smell, I had to go running for the plug to turn it off. Rather then get it fixed I bought another because it seemed kind of terminal and would probably be about the same price to repair or buy new I thought. And anything that died making a smell like that could never be right again. So I bought this one, commercial model, because you can put the attachments in the back and I couldn’t do that with the old one. It’s OK, but the 580W model although quieter than the 1200W definitely does not suck as much. When I made my daughter hoover the stairs by turning off the broadband so there was nothing else to do, she asked where the boost button was (there isn’t one), because it wasn’t getting the dog hair up. Also, this hose is shorter. The older one I could hoover the stairs and leave Henry at the bottom, now half way up I have to move Henry up the stairs because the hose won’t reach to the top.
It’s OK but – meh – I think I should have got the old one repaired. I took it to the tip and it was a hasty move.
he suction is a tad too strong as it really does grip those mats and carpets and is hard to push/pull along even with the air vent opened.quiet in use.good value
So pleased I bought this, had so many useless vaccuums in the past few years that could barely suck up a breadcrumb. If anything, good old Henry is a tinsy bit too powerful..I find using the flat nozzle easier than the floor attachment but I do have health issues effecting my strength..He’s a little heavy but I don’t have stairs to carry him up so not really a problem…Highly recommend if you want a really powerful vacuum that does what it’s actually supposed to…

I was surprised to see that this had been updated with a much lighter body, making it easier to pull around. Also impressed with the better floor cleaner part. would definitely recommend Henry to anyone who has dogs or cats…….its brilliant at get hairs of carpets etc.
Always wanted one of these as I use one at work and they are very good at general and industrial cleaning, plenty of accessories and great suction power which makes it great for home use. A great addition with our other hoover but these range of Numatics will always be a winner.
Excellent for carpet and hard floors. Really strong suction. Don’t have to worry anymore about more than dust going up. Our v expensive old vacuum cleaner used to stop sucking if anything more than dust got sucked up. This is the best vacuum that we have ever had, wish I had bought years ago. Husband loves vacuuming the fire place, the ashtray and stones and bits walked into the house.
I had previously only used a Henry at work so wasn’t expecting the suction of a brand new one! Fabulous ! had a pet Vax before which I cant believe I put up with for the last 3 years Hooray for Henry
OMG! Just got my Henry and vacuumed a cream rug that I thought was beyond help. After one vacuum it looks amazing and with a quick clean will look even better. The suction is fantastic and I can’t wait to try it on all my other carpets. Really impressed and a great bargain too.

The attachments come off a little too easily when you’re using it to move back and forth, but part of that is due to how well this thing sucks onto carpet.
I am not afraid to use this on anything, whereas if I were using the Dyson, I would have to gently caress the beast every time I used it and tell it that I would never make it try and suck up anything larger than an atom so please work. If I didn’t it would scream at me the entire time.
Love this hoover! Much more suction than the normal domestic hoovers. We use this around the house with ease and it picks up everything…. did buy a spinning brush head separately to go on the carpet and it sounds like its going to take off but its just so powerfull!
The only thing i can fault it on has always been a dislike of mine with henrys… going around a corner! It always wants to get stuck even when im pulling it, so have to walk back and move it so it can follow me into the next room!
I’ve had a Henry for donkey’s years and it’s done sterling service, but decided enough of my treatment was finally enough.
However, I was not prepared by just how AMAZINGLY QUIET this new one is! Better than any vac – including Dyson – than I’ve ever had before.

Great vacuum cleaner, Powerful lightweight and seems to be tough enough to endure. Really long power cord too which means we can basically hoover all the rooms on one floor without having to change plugs. the difffernce in cleaning of this from our previous upright is astonishing.
My second Henry [the first lasted over 30 years]. Definitely a fine vacuum he sucks like a demon and the hose, brushes and wands are lighter than the old Henry by far. As a geriatric with chronic fatigue this is good, very good. His wheelbase is larger, so he can come down one of the many little ups and downs that connect the rooms in my ancient house without danger of turning upside down [poor old Henry I did this on many occasions]. The tank itself is heavier, but as I don’t lift that so often it is not a deal breaker. I love the easy wind out and wind in for the cord even tho it’s manual, it does mean that all that cord isn’t tangling me and Henry up. Altogether a fine buy [but if I ever get rich I’ll be getting the Roomba of my dreams]. Why not 5 stars? Because it is still not totally automated or cord-free.
Bought this to replace a much used Henry that had finally succumbed to black mortar dust courtesy of my builders. First class product that could suck a nail from a floor board if given the go ahead. You won’t go far wrong with this vacuum cleaner.
It came with only one bag but then it was a warehouse deal. The suction is amazing but its quite difficult to use on carpets, hard work to push. Luckily that’s not what l bought it for, so l am very happy with it. As s bonus it’s a very quiet motor.
I am a builder and bought this for site work. Brick/plaster/wood dust. Anything up to around an inch goes up Henry’s big nose! Very powerful little thing. A proper tried and tested design that’s been around for years. I clean up with the carpet attachment after jobs and its usually cleaner than when we got there! So obviously my customers love Henry too! One thing I did do was buy a longer hose from Amazon. I found the other a little short for my needs. It wouldn’t reach the tops of kitchen units etc. This is obviously my needs and if you use it domestically it may be fine. For me (and with a 4m hose) he’s perfect!
Wow how powerful is this hoover problem is it does make it hard work to hoover carpets especially deep pile ones so i ha e ordered a head attachment with wheels on it – would be nice if it came as standard rather than having to make an additional orde
This is our second Henry in our large household, they now will work side by side. The older one is three years old, and seen more expensive Samsung, Bosch and Miele vacuum cleaners disintegrate and die. Henry can do anything – from collecting soil and leaves outside our back door, to cleaning stove out, to, well anything, really.
The only reason I did not buy Henry for years, is that I presumed they had no suction for the noise they make when trades people or cleaners in hotels use them. Well, they have plenty of suction, and the only reason they can sound a bit rough is when you take them for granted and don’t change the 9 litre (!) bag when it is full! Bags are of excellent quality and very cheap too.
This really is the best vacuum cleaner in the world!
We chose to replace our Dyson, with a Henry because of its reputation. It is the professional cleaners vacuum of choice and I can now understand why. The suction power is very strong and picks up across carpet and hard floor. The vacuum is stable and won’t be knocked over when pulling by the hose. The cable is simply wind away.
Compared to a Dyson, the Henry is much better value. It sucks and cleans, is light and the cables and hose don’t get it their own way.
gone through 3 vacuums in 2 years due to pet hair, 2 cats 1 dog, it’s not like I have a menagerie but they are all very casty, last one lasted 4 weeks and that was a very well known bagless brand and I was using the pet hair attachment, I love my Henry, might take a tad more elbow grease than an upright so no more bingo wings for me which is a bonus on top of clean carpets and a reliable functioning vacuum cleane
This is the bigger brother of domestic Henry. Numatic is a few inches taller and a little more portable he is happy to take on even more demanding work. When he seems so powerful!

Keep your dysons…Henry is my best buddy! After having various hoovers, I kept wondering if there was a perfect one. Well I’m looking no more. Many tradesmen use them to clean up… great price too!
I’ve avoided Henry Hoovers all my married life as my mum hates them. Eventually purchased this as my sister recommended as both she and I were fed up unwinding hair from my ordinary vacuum cleaner. I’ve wasted a lot of time as I should have bought one years ago. The suction is strong. It’s a workout on your arms, but I could do with one. I’ve now bought the toy one for my daughter and nephew as neither of us can get much done as they want a go!
Wife wanted a new one to repalce an old Panasonic and she really pestered me for a Henry. It cleans brilliantly and this version has very strong suction. Really recommend it!
I’m a bit of a geek, so trust me when I say this is the best and probably the last vacuum cleaner you’ll ever buy, forget about the numbers (580 Watt) you’ll find loads of other machines with higher numbers claiming all sorts of nonsense, try this and your only complaint might be it’s too powerful, the suction is amazing and it’s built to last, it admittedly is no fashion statement but if like me you couldn’t give a toss about keeping up with Joneses and simply want the best machine for the job then get this !
These are the best vacs out there . Lower power in all new vacs but suction seems to be the same .once you own one of these you will never want another brand also they go on for ever so will not need to replace as quickly … We use one at work and no other vac has lasted as long as the Henry . Just bought this one for home as second top advertised one just died … There’s a reason why the deign of these has stayed the same for ever it’s tried tested and works in real life . Worth getting the turbo floor tool pity it’s not standard
We bought this Henry to replace our old one that blew up after lots of use. We are a carpet company and always vacuum up when we fit new carpets for our customers, does the job brilliantly. Powerful and just what we need.
It’s an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which was exactly what I wanted. Cleans everything in a breeze, works brilliantly on the carpet (rips the carpet out of the floor if we are not careful)! It’s also very simple to replace the bag (which is also huge by the way, which means it doesn’t require changing that often anyway. But it’s fairly heavy and clunky, and it takes a lot of space in the closet. If we could get the same power with an upright vacuum, that would make it perfect.
My wife uses one of these vacuum’s where she works, she is so impressed with it that I had to buy one after looking at reviews

I can’t fault this hoover, tried everything from sharks to cheap ones but this is by far the best, has a bit of a funny smell but i can tolerate it.

Henry’s are always great. Nothing usually goes wrong with them. My last one died after 8 years .So had to replace him with a new one.

This is amazing! I had an expensive dyson before which wasn’t nearly as good as this one! Great for reaching all the difficult to reach areas. Only problem is, suction is almost too strong sometimes and it can be difficult to move around the carpet.
Always wanted ‘ a Henry’ did not disappoint best hoover ever owned.
Fab machine, so nice to have proper suction after the last rubbish hoover we had. Previously had a henry for years, last hoover lasted less than a year and was rubbish… henry only for me from now on!

love the hoover sevens to made of plastic not same material as my last 1.The handle fell of mine within 4 weeks having it , not broken came out clips and can’t get it on again leaving me having to try carry Hoover up and down stairs
I have used these for 29 years and would never change. Proper trades people heavy duty. Not the best as your main home vacuum.
We bought this Hoover a we are renovating our new house and my very expensive Mielie is not coping with all the dust! Highly recommend. Plus the kids like to use it so extra benefi
Suction great but it’s new – all vacuumed are good to start , came with a cloth dust bag which was unclear when I ordered as I also ordered 2 more cloth bags but a spare will be handy . Only came with three adapters see pictures , needs an upholstery nozzle . Has an extra long cable for doing stairs or long corridors in one go
It’s OK but – meh – I think I should have got the old one repaired. I took it to the tip and it was a hasty move.
Good suction. Basic no frills design, but does the job.

he suction is a tad too strong as it really does grip those mats and carpets and is hard to push/pull along even with the air vent opened.quiet in use.good value
So pleased I bought this, had so many useless vaccuums in the past few years that could barely suck up a breadcrumb. If anything, good old Henry is a tinsy bit too powerful..I find using the flat nozzle easier than the floor attachment but I do have health issues effecting my strength..He’s a little heavy but I don’t have stairs to carry him up so not really a problem…Highly recommend if you want a really powerful vacuum that does what it’s actually supposed to…

I was surprised to see that this had been updated with a much lighter body, making it easier to pull around. Also impressed with the better floor cleaner part. would definitely recommend Henry to anyone who has dogs or cats…….its brilliant at get hairs of carpets etc.
Always wanted one of these as I use one at work and they are very good at general and industrial cleaning, plenty of accessories and great suction power which makes it great for home use. A great addition with our other hoover but these range of Numatics will always be a winner.
I had previously only used a Henry at work so wasn’t expecting the suction of a brand new one! Fabulous ! had a pet Vax before which I cant believe I put up with for the last 3 years Hooray for Henry

OMG! Just got my Henry and vacuumed a cream rug that I thought was beyond help. After one vacuum it looks amazing and with a quick clean will look even better. The suction is fantastic and I can’t wait to try it on all my other carpets. Really impressed and a great bargain too.

The attachments come off a little too easily when you’re using it to move back and forth, but part of that is due to how well this thing sucks onto carpet.
I am not afraid to use this on anything, whereas if I were using the Dyson, I would have to gently caress the beast every time I used it and tell it that I would never make it try and suck up anything larger than an atom so please work. If I didn’t it would scream at me the entire time.
The only thing i can fault it on has always been a dislike of mine with henrys… going around a corner! It always wants to get stuck even when im pulling it, so have to walk back and move it so it can follow me into the next room!
However, I was not prepared by just how AMAZINGLY QUIET this new one is! Better than any vac – including Dyson – than I’ve ever had before.

Great vacuum cleaner, Powerful lightweight and seems to be tough enough to endure. Really long power cord too which means we can basically hoover all the rooms on one floor without having to change plugs. the difffernce in cleaning of this from our previous upright is astonishing.
The only reason I did not buy Henry for years, is that I presumed they had no suction for the noise they make when trades people or cleaners in hotels use them. Well, they have plenty of suction, and the only reason they can sound a bit rough is when you take them for granted and don’t change the 9 litre (!) bag when it is full! Bags are of excellent quality and very cheap too.
This really is the best vacuum cleaner in the world!
Compared to a Dyson, the Henry is much better value. It sucks and cleans, is light and the cables and hose don’t get it their own way.
Powerful and strongly built so quite heavy, but an excellent machine. Bags are capacious and easy to install and replace.
This is the bigger brother of domestic Henry. Numatic is a few inches taller and a little more portable he is happy to take on even more demanding work. When he seems so powerful!

Keep your dysons…Henry is my best buddy! After having various hoovers, I kept wondering if there was a perfect one. Well I’m looking no more. Many tradesmen use them to clean up… great price too!
I’ve avoided Henry Hoovers all my married life as my mum hates them. Eventually purchased this as my sister recommended as both she and I were fed up unwinding hair from my ordinary vacuum cleaner. I’ve wasted a lot of time as I should have bought one years ago. The suction is strong. It’s a workout on your arms, but I could do with one. I’ve now bought the toy one for my daughter and nephew as neither of us can get much done as they want a go!
Which is exactly what you want a vacuum cleaner to do.
Little bit heavy but cheaper than a gym membership.
It’s worth getting the optional Airo brush as it changes a very good product to a fantastic product.
It’s an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which was exactly what I wanted. Cleans everything in a breeze, works brilliantly on the carpet (rips the carpet out of the floor if we are not careful)! It’s also very simple to replace the bag (which is also huge by the way, which means it doesn’t require changing that often anyway. But it’s fairly heavy and clunky, and it takes a lot of space in the closet. If we could get the same power with an upright vacuum, that would make it perfect.
decided this was the best place to go. It was delivered ahead of the estimated date and the machine exceeds my expectations.
The upright we used before has now been packed away in the loft. Very impressed with the Numatic vacuum.
