Auto Grip System
The ORIGINAL and still the BEST Auto Grip System (AGS) is driven by the weight of the instrument.
When the instrument is placed on the yoke, the channel slides down and rotates two arms, holding and protecting your instrument.
To take the guitar, simply lift the instrument out of the housing, the two arms release immediately.

I attached these to the walls using GripIt plasterboard fixings, after an unfortunate experience with a cheaper brand many years ago. Everything is super solid. I’m really pleased with this combination. I can’t see them working out or becoming loose.

Just put up my fourth hercules guitar hanger.
Yeah these are great. Have 2 strats 1 tele plus an acoustic hanging on these so yes i trust them, the tele being the heaviest hangs safety and secure.
Mechanism as you can see in video works very well to wrap around neck once weight of guitar is taken, lifting up releases this allowing easy removal.

I’ve use 3 of these to mount my guitars and they are working great so far. They feel well made and very sturdy – I’m not worried about my guitars slipping out of them. Would give 5 stars if they included spring toggle fixing to securely mount these on plasterboard as I had to purchase my own.

First impressions are very good. Now they’re on the wall (and haven’t fallen off in over 24hrs) they do the job very well.
However, I was mounting to an outside wall with dot and dab plasterboard on top. Unable to use the supplied hardware (tbh I wouldn’t use them anyway, just don’t seem strong enough!) I used some dot and dab fixings that were considerably longer (@100mm).
Seem to hold my Ibanez bass and my Les Paul with no problems.
As per other reviews, the guitars are pretty far off the wall too. Even my Ibanez acoustic had masses of airspace between it and the wall.
Recommended though!

I have 2 of these now, although I would get more.
I love how securely they hold my bass, and I don’t have to flip any gate over, it’s all automatic when you place the guitar onto the holder it engages. When you lift the guitar it disengages. Installation wasn’t too difficult as the holder spins out of the way to allow better drill/screwdriver access. You may want to beef up the wallplugs and screws though over those that were supplied.
I trust this brand on stage too with the Hurcules stand and so does the guitarist.

Absolutely love these Hercules wall hangers… They are slightly pricey, but completely worth it.
The adjustability is simply unmatched, and very well thought through… You can definitely tell that the designers have put a lot of effort in.
If you are still thinking about it, just buy one.
A 16 wall hanger is nothing compared to the price of a guitar.
Definitely the most secure hangers on the market.
Ten out of ten, and I fully recommend this product.
Great price of wizardry
How can something so simple and easy to install work so well? Two screws and it’s done.
My guitar looks great hung up on the wall and this gives piece of mind that it’ll still be there when I want it next.

Top quality wall hange
This is a nice looking and high quality wall hanger for guitars. I particularly like how the weight of the guitar triggers the auto-lock system, and lifting the guitar releases it. It’s also nice how the headstock rests on foam rubber to prevent damage to your pride and joy. I found it fairly straight-forward to install, and I’m not the best at DIY. I don’t see any reason to look at other hangers as this checks all the boxes for me!

I have quite a number of these holding my prized instruments. I have a plasterboard wall so use gripit fixings to ensure a safe hold.

Looks good and it’s secure. It is holding my Stratocaster very well, into brick wall, using the fittings included. It’s been up a month and no troubles.

I’ve got four of these already on the wall in a line going up the wall. When I install them into plaster and brick I use a series of different sized drills. If you make sure that it is securely fixed on the wall they are great. Years ago, I nearly lost a Gibson Les Paul as the stand was coming out of the wall, luckily my son spotted it and saved my guitar. It was poor fitting, nothing wrong with the stand. I don’t use the supplied fixings, I use my own, and sometimes I enlarge the holes in the base to accommodate a more hefty screw.

After purchasing a cheaper alternative (which was not very sturdy). I opted for this wall stand, and ordered 3.

I have since re ordered another 7, and wouldnt use any other product. Works well and auto locks guitars to stand to avoid accidents.

Seems great so far. I opened up the drilled holes to 5mm and added much bigger 5 x 75mm screws with 8 x 60mm fischer plugs to ensure they went through the plaster board and deep into the breeze block.
I am so glad these were recommended to me. You might get three of another brand for the price of one of these, but you won’t get the rather ingenious one handed locking unlocking sytstem: the claws are open until you put the neck in and lower it, then they automatically close. To retrieve, lift the guitar an inch, and they spring open. They look like they will last longer than me.
p.s. The handyman who put these up came back to review his work. Because the guitars are heavy solid body jobs, he wanted to ensure that the wall was bearing the weight. Uless you know what you are doing, take advice before hanging them up
