This was definitely worth the money. My grandsons are having a blast playing with this. I think it is much better than playing electronics all the time.
My nieces & nephew watch this show on TV all the time so when I saw this I had to give it a try & it didn’t disappoint at all. The kids loved it & even the adults too

Purchased as a Christmas gift for grandson as he asked for it. The family watches the TV show that is like this battlebot. Gift opened, put together easily and began hours of fun. Comes with batteries to start play right away. I recommend getting more batteries ahead of time. The item is so much fun that many hours later new batteries are needed. More items can be purchased to go along with this to extend is fun. Ages using this are 8 yrs & 11 yrs. Grandma even enjoyed it.
Bought this for a mate for his birthday and we had a blast. Its honestly sturdier than it looks, and especially the bots I was quite impressed.
Now I have this to him last month, and we wouldn’t be playing every day or anything, so if you’re looking to play it casually, then defo wouldn’t have any hassle, if you were to use it daily it might not have same longevity I wouldn’t know. But for casual banter with mates it’s defo worth it, very easy to assemble and a lot of fun to lay with.
Arena would be defo too for 4 bits if you’re wondering, this is definitely a 1v1 arena, but don’t forget the 2 side hammers where you can involve other people and turn it into a 4 player game.
We read lots of reviews before shopping and still opted to get the Tombstone & Witchdoctor arena set. It is lots of fun!
For us the batteries work well (they do need to get replaced when you play a lot!), no ‘crack’ in the arena board & a fun robot pairing – meaning both bots can win or lose any time.
The arena adds a lot of fun by its physical boundaries & the corner hammers. We had the Biteforce / Blacksmith pair (without the arena) and it was fun, but lobsided as biteforce always won over blacksmith. With the addition of the arena set all 4 bots can now win & lose.
It’s expensive for such small RCs, but if you’re into BattleBots this is pure fun for this dad & his 9 year old kid 🙂
Bottom line, my 10 year old absolutely loves this. He was ecstatic to receive for his birthday. Downside was Witch Doctor didn’t work out of the box. Upside: The company stands by their products, they sent a replacement immediately upon contact. Yes, you will go through batteries, though that was known to us beforehand. We supervise that they’re turned off when not in use and feel like the battery life is acceptable, especially with how much joy it brings our son!
The arena goes together easily. Review the directions included and you’re good to go!
Bought this for my twin 7 year old grandsons. They love it! Hours of fun. Only criticism is the one robot appears much stronger than the other, and usually wins!!
Playing area could be a bit larger.
Overall, good product and value for money
Son was enjoying this but remote stopped working pretty quickly. I’ve emailed hexbots about a replacement remote so we shall see.
Board is a card base, not sure how long will last. Child loves it!
My brother and his grandkids loved the set. They were very impressed with the durability and opportunity for creativity…as well as the competition.
kids love them. lots of fun and easy to sync with remotes.
Used just for fun. My husband loves the TV show. So now we are two 70+ year olds slamming little bots into each other and parts are flying, just like on TV. There is a little protective wall to keep some parts in but there will always be parts going over the top. Don’t lose them. It’s a blast. Takes some skill to control robot movement so probably not for tiny kids.

I bought this for my son (8 year old) and husband, what a huge hit! We all loved it. There are pieces that are held together by magnets that will go flying off just like in the show! I wish the arena itself was more sturdy (gameboard and plastic) but the bots are substantial and do not disappoint!
Bought for 6 year old who loves Robot Wars. That show has no games so I got this and he loves it. I bought a set of 2 more robots to give for Christmas so he’ll have more variety. Be aware, when the robots crash the pieces can fly off and hit you. The kid didn’t mind. but I made him put on some goggles! We haven’t had any problems with the remotes, at this point.
Product works mostly as advertised. Robots move around area and smash each other to pieces. One issue is that Tombstone needs a really flat surface or it gets stuck. The area floor needs some extra flattening. Lots of fun for fans of Battle Bots.

The only reason I’m giving this 4 starts rather than 5 is because the center of the board will NOT go down and causes a hump which causes the battle bots to get stuck. I’ve flipped it upside down to let it sit and I’ve even left gallons of paint on it for a couple days in hopes of it going down – No luck. Wouldn’t be much of an issue if the battle bots didn’t get stuck on it every now and then. It’s a small frustration to deal with while having fun. With the negative part out of the way – I do want to say that this arena is otherwise well made. Doesn’t feel like it’s made of cheap plastic that are going to crumble in your hand. My son and I have spent some time on this laughing and crashing into each other. The pieces fall off the bots relatively easy so we spend the majority of our time just crashing into each other and getting stuck on the middle hump.
The boys loved this!!! It was a huge hit for them. They played with them for hours and still do!!!

I got this on a cyber Monday sale for my son for Christmas. He loves it! It’s price on Amazon is pretty average. In my opinion, it’s kind of expensive for cardboard and plastic with some hex bugs but the amount of fun my son and I have had with it is worth it.
Se siete dei fan della serie, o se vostro figlio lo , non potete non comprare questo set. Il set contiene due robot dei pi famosi, costruiti benissimo e con alcune parti della “corazza” che si staccano quando si scontrano. Si possono poi riattaccare semplicemente essendo magnetici. L’arena di cartone e con i bordi di plastica che simulano le vetrate del programma TV. ben fatta e resistente. Consigliatissimo!
The bots work great and the kids haven’t had any problem with them. They link up easily to the controller and respond pretty well. The arena is definitely needed as the breakaway pieces go flying! I got this as a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it.

Es mejor encenderlos por separado (a un par de metros el uno del otro) para evitar que se desconfiguren y se muevan los dos con el mismo mando, pero despus ya se pueden juntar sin problema.
Por ponerle una pega, al ser la base de cartn, puede que se acabe estropeando. Hemos decidido no desmontar la cancha, para evitarlo.

Lots of fun for my grandson (9) & me! Went together well & everything worked as advertised. Fighting the bots is a blast! They can take a beating! We love watching the real show & now playing it at home! Suggestion: get another bot or two to make it more interesting.

Purchased this as a gift for my nephew. Set up was a little difficult but we managed. The cars seem to be magnetically held together so they fall apart very easily (I’m sure it’s due to the nature of the game). We had a lot of difficulty connecting the remotes to the cars and it turned out that the batteries were dead right out of the box. Quite disappointing due to the price of the toy.
My son and daughter LOVE it! They actually played well together for almost an hour. That never happens. The quality of the product seems very sturdy. I was concerned the area a would be cheaply made & flimsy, but it’s not!
My 11-yr old grandson is really into robotics and watching the BattleBots program on TV. He loved this toy and played with his 20-yr old and 6-yr old brothers!
