Reasonably priced step ladder.
Sturdy enough step ladder for the price. Have seen these elsewhere for more money.
Strong but not too heavy
Good set of steps.
Side handles fitted on easily (tip, use a socket set or ratchet spanner, makes the job so much quicker than the using supplied spanner).
I’m a big bloke and exceeded the recommended weight limit. The steps had no trouble holding my weight. Shows how well made they are. Don’t forget to engage the safety hook when using and you should be fine. The safety rail gives confidence when in use.

Very Good household ladde
This is a sturdy, well made item. Folds easily with good-sized steps, and feels nicely stable. One small gripe :- as mentioned by a previous reviewer, the nuts supplied are useless. I turned the bolts round, inserted them from the inside, and made them secure with 4 wing nuts bought from Wilko; problem solved.

As I’m in my eighties I needed something safe and stable to reach high places. These steps are ideal. Only downside is that I find them heavy to lift.

Safe, secure and sturdy ladders.
This is my 2nd purchase of these step ladders, I own the 4 step version and they are one off my best ever purchases. Safe, secure and sturdy, it was a confident purchase for my parents ( following a silly ‘ using the chair’ incident) I can 100% recommend this item, there is a safety catch which is easy to understand, even for elderly people, 1 simple action which delivers the clip over the crossbar and a simple pressing of the clip to release the steps. One steady pulling them back towards you and they fold up nicely. I find ( as do my folks) them easy to operate and they honestly do not take up any room at all. They are sturdy yet their moderate weight is easily managed if required elsewhere in the house. The design is as attractive as you could want for step ladders, the wide step is far more conducive than the rickety 3-4 inches that regular ladders provide and the peace of mind they give is simply unquestionable.
White steel frame which is solid and the safety bannisters and heightened top rail enable the user to feel extremely secure- even if it is just for changing light bulbs it is without question a must for anyone with concerns for themselves or others. The 3 flight steps are more than enough to facilitate most households, i, as mentioned, have the 4 step ones and that proved very useful providing a stable base for my paint tray….bliss.
The steps come extremely well packaged, with easy to follow guide to setting them up, really only the hand rails to be fixed into place. There is a very useful bubble wrap sleeve which I secured taping in strips around the frame, this definitely works if like myself you don’t want to get any spitting of paint onto your new steps!!!!! Yes, it might seem like overkill but I protected mine and the step area with the sticky sheet covering you buy for protection of your floors during painting- this worked brilliantly. I manage to store mine inside the front of my airing cupboard ( only one cupboard in my abode) and they certainly do not take up much room, whilst also being available and at hand without traipsing down to a very dark, angular howf at the bottom of the stairwell.
To conclude; very safe, very sturdy yet manageable weight and structure and definitely 100% a quality product.highly recommended for peace of mind.
Worth the money
Needed this to change over batteries in outdoor cam and I am unsteady on ladders. The ladder is sturdy enough, the safety rails are what attracted me to this ladder, I was a bit disappointed that the back rail was not higher than it is. But still, feel much safer using these than my old ladder with no safety rails.

A sturdy stepladder that one can use with confidence. The grab handles are bolted firmly in place – a little difficult to do but within the capability of most – the ladder is a delight to use and feels really safe. I would recommend it strongly for use by the elderly.

A very useful height and easy to steps
It’s a very sturdy but portable step for indoors. I like the safety rails gives good support and confidence when in use. The only slight disadvantage is that the rails are not retractable they would be even better if the rails could be stowed that would be easier for storing.

I have a fear of heights, I mean, dizzy spells on the second rung of a ladder! This is a godsend. There are handles at the side to make me feel secure when I’m climbing and a handle to hold on the top to ensure I feel safe. I can reach the ceiling if I have to and don’t feel as if I’m at risk. Wish I’d found these years ago. We did have a bit of struggle putting the hand rails on, because of the position of the holes and screws, but it was not an insurmountable issue. I’m pleased with these and would recommend them to help with odd jobs round the house.

Brilliant step ladders. The only complaint when unpacking we found the rails to be damaged. The paint was Scratched off in places. A little disappointed with that, but once I get my use out of them they are going to get scratched anyway.

This ladder is ideal. The only reason I have given four stars is because one of the handrails had chipped paint,showing slightly rusted metal underneath. I decided to treat it with hammerite paint which worked well.

You have to assemble it but fine as long as you pay attention to which bit goes where. Nice to have the “grab rails”.
The supplied spanner is nvg, but usable if you do not have another. It may be one of those “make it hurt to stop people doing things up too tight”, or just cheap.
Brilliant product easy to assemble quick delivery
It was very easy to assemble the rails, ot gives good height I can easily use it myself so not heavy, its sturdy, and easy to fold, great product and good price.
Grab rails make these steps safer to use for everyone.
Only used a couple of times but so far they are sturdy and stable but a bit difficult to fold. Similar to most folding steps the safety catch gets in the way as you’re trying to fold them. The grab rails are ideal for helping feel safe whilst using them.
Almost, but not quite 5 stars!
First things first. Delivery was excellent, two days instead of the estimated five. Packaging was good; shrink wrapped steps, enclosed in a layer of bubble wrap and then sealed in a stout cardboard outer. No damage, cosmetic or otherwise.
However.
When trying the steps out it was obvious that they were not sitting square and flat on the floor. Further investigation showed that at least part of the problem was an incorrectly fixed rubber foot, or ferrule. This could not fit because there was a fairly large chunk of weld “spatter on the end of the leg; clearly quality control was, or is, minimal or non-existent.
Cleaning the spatter with a file the ferrule fitted much better but there was still some degree of wobble when the steps were erected. Further checking showed that, with all four ferrules removed the legs were not all of the same length, again a quality control issue.
The resolution of the problem was a little tedious but by placing suitable packing inside the ferrules to support the metal tube, in two, diagonally opposite, legs resolved the issue. All that was necessary was a single 10p piece on one leg and a couple of 10p pieces on the opposing leg. Yes, cost me 30p but you can’t buy suitable washers as cheaply as that.
The other point I would mention is that the pitch of the treads. The riser is a little higher than on normal, lightweight steps but this is inevitable given the size of the actual treads and the way that the steps fold. Certainly not a disadvantage and the broader standing area provided by the larger steps is perfect for assured comfort and stability when using the steps.
Really strong and sturdy
These are the best steps I have had, they are really strong and sturdy and easy to use with the handles which make you feel safe. The only thing to note is that they are quite heavy but they need to be to stop them toppling over. I have arthritis in both knees and these are the only steps that I feel safe on when trying to climb up

Safe, stable, ideal for over a 2m heigh
This is a great set of ladders to reach just that bit higher than usual decorating ladders. We got them for ease of dropping things on top of a custom built roof space, so I don’t have to keep asking the Huby to crawl up an unstable loft ladder.
Great Steps for OAPs
Being an OAP, these steps have allowed me to do more for myself around the home and garden. They feel safe when using and make it very easy on the knees getting on and off. The side handles are really helpful.

Very decent ladde
For a home DIY ‘when you have to’ ladder this is great, it’s helped me get over my fear of heights because it’s wide, got rails and big steps, and not too steep an angle. It’s not as solid as professional ladders, it’s that sort of rolled aluminium bars for the hand rails, and the main shaft I think is thicker rolled aluminium, got me and 5 others through decorating my house though!

These stepladders are great. Just had to screw side rails on before use, no problem. No wobble when using them, feel completely safe. Nice wide tread to stand on, so legs do not ache when using them. Might be a little heavy for some people, but this adds to the sturdiness. I am a woman in my middle seventies and manage using them without any problem, wish I’d found them years ago. Better then light aluminium stepladders. Cannot fault them.

Really sensible steps for the home

Very good set of steps
I bought these steps for a number of reasons, firstly I needed steps to clean my conservatory, I chose these particular steps as they are tall but not too tall, they have wide treads and they have hand rails. I needed to stand on the very top step to reach up to the apex of the conservatory and these steps were brilliant, they were very stable and I felt secure standing on them. A very sturdy and stable ladder. The side rails and safety bar at the top is comforting. If there is a downside then its the weight, it would be difficult for the infirmed or elderly to move about. 4 Step Ladder With Safety Handrail
I have had this step ladder with safety handrail for sometime but had only used it on the odd occasion so felt I couldn’t justify an opinion until now. I am in my 80th year and have just managed to clean my conservatory roof with the help of the step ladder. I felt extremely secure on it and so glad I purchased this product. The only downside is it is rather heavy and stiff to open out.

Looks and feels solid
This step ladder completes the set, I already have the 2 step and the 3 step, however I feel more secure on the four step because of the simple to fit side rails and extended main frame, very pleased with this purchase.
Strong and safe
Having read the reviews and needing some safe steps for an ageing and arthritic person I decided theses sounded just the thing. They are excellent. You only need to attach the hand rails. They are heavier than aluminium steps but i felt so safe on these wide steps with handles everywhere to hold on to. Excellent.
Excellent steps
Excellent set of steps. We have high ceilings and I’m 5’2″ and not exactly stable on my feet! I can reach the ceiling using these steps. Each step is nice and big so my feet feel secure as they are fully on the treads and not hanging over. The side rails give me confidence when going up and coming down. The rail at the top gives me something to hold on to. I think this is the safest I have ever felt on a step ladder. I’m thrilled with my steps and highly recommend them. They require minimal construction. Just need to screw the side rails in place. They are solid and feel very sturdy and well made but are not massively heavy. No excuse for cobwebs on the chandelier now!!
