Easy to use
Had the product now for 3 months. The filters need cleaning about once a month at most I’d say. There is a warning on the machine to tell you when to clean it. I found it was great to clean the air during pollen season. It also provides a nice breeze even on the lowest setting.

I already have a more expensive Philips air purifier so I have a good benchmark. This really does clean the air just as well. The only thing it doesn’t have is the air quality detector but in all honesty my nose tells me that this works just as well!

I bought this for my son and daughter in law during the very hot weather when they were suffering very badly with hayfever and having difficulty sleeping. They reported later to me that the unit had made a really significant difference and they were extremely pleased with it. No details re other features.

love this use in bedrooms to keep air healthier. I switch it on for a few hours before bed. as no timer on it. I can use a timer switch which I plug in to the wall switch. also give a nice cool breeze as well. very easy to clean as filter on the back easy access just clips o

Nice looking and works well. Quite expensive so I hope it lasts for years to come. The instructions are a little difficult to understand especially for an elderly person.

Haven’t had Homedics Hepa long but I notice a great difference in the air. I have asthma and alergies and got it because I have birds. Really great product. Great price and it’s very quiet on setting 1. It’s fine on all setting. Not too noisey. Would recommend it and the seller.

seems to do the business. best to put on after dusting surfaces to ensure unit will pull all dust from the air. it ain’t gonna suction the dust from your surfaces and bed sheets, but no unit will do this sadly.

There’s a clear difference in air quality. I’m not asthmatic but live in central London, so wanted to manage the pollution in my flat. So glad I bought this!

I’m a non smoker in a house of smokers. I also get hayfever. Since using this the smell of smoke in the house is gone and I don’t suffer with allergies.

After 2 days and nights have noticed the difference . My nose is no longer blocked and can breathe much easier and therefore getting a better night’s sleep.
Am disappointed that the uv light is not working and have had to buy a replacement bulb, so more money spent!!

I bought this for my sons room as he is suffering pollution allergies. It really is helping him sleep. I move it into the living room during the day. The air is noticeably fresher and we are not coughing and sneezing as much. On highest setting it is loud but on lowest easily slept through. I an not recommend this highly enough for those suffering with allergies or asthma

I suffer with asthma and also have cat allergies, this has reduced my dosage of antihistamine to almost nothing and also I don’t use my inhaler as much, I only turn the purifier every couple of days for a couple of hours to filter the air in that particular room and then I’ll move it to another room, very pleased with my purchase
Totally removed all the little bits of dust and grit in the air of a good sized living room. Since having this running I cant remember the last time I had a coughing fit. The air smells and feels fresher as well. Worth every penny. Only downside is that it is a bit noisy and have to set the telly volume louder, but once doing that I hardly notice it at all.

Seems to work well. It is not as noisy as an old Filtrate one i had. It does clean the air as well but it doesn’t cool the air at all. This might be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the time of year!

My partner suffers badly from hay fever we put this in our bedroom and turn it on late afternoon until we get up in the morning and at last we are getting a good nights sleep. Its so good that weve buoght one for the lounge now we can watch tv together without the constant sneezing and running eyes..

Brought this as my girlfriend has cystic fibrosis and the flat we live in has damp issues, this has helped her while she sleeps and really makes a difference to the quality of air in our bed room, easy to clean compact and ideal for anyone with breathing difficulties

Does exactly what it says it does, It filters out dust and small particles from your household. I purchased this for my office as I have had a bad chest and felt the dust was making me cough more. I have noticed within 1 week of use that I am coughing a lot less and the air feels cleaner.

Used this for approx. 8 months now, where I used to suffer really bad asthma attacks in my holiday caravan (brought on by an allergy to dogs and mould spores) I now only have either very mild symptoms or none at all. Cant recommend it highly enough, saved me an awful amount of pain and misery

stopped me sneezing
I bought this as I was waking up sneezing (from allergies) every night. Now I sleep right through. I turn it on high, which is a bit noisy, about an hour or 2 before I go to bed. Then I turn it down to number one for the night, which has a quiet purring sort of sound, and have a lovely nights sleep 🙂

Seemed. To clear the room of cat hairs – well nobdy started sneezing uncontrollably which is usually the case with 2 of my visitors. It is a bit noisy on full plast so I just had it on lower for longer.
Excellent! We have five cats and yet we can entertain a friend who has a severe cat allergy! We turn it on an hour before he arrives and the improvement is stunning. When we just had two cats (and no Purifier) he suffered badly at our house but now he is really much more comfortable. I recommend this tower wholeheartedly.

My son in low who is allergic to cats. While visiting us he was using allergy relief tablets but these were not effective. Winter was the worth time. We bought the HoMedics HEPA Tower Air Purifier and it seems it works very well. He is not eating useless tablets anymore and take the Air purifier with him to every room where he is going to stay for a long time. It makes a room cooler but we do not mind as the problem is sorted.
very pleased, was taking antihistamines almost every day from allergy to one of my dogs and would have been happy to take them once week. Got the Hepa Tower in December and gradually my symptoms (which consisted of itchy eyes, sneezing, itchy nose and throat) have decreased so that i have now gone 15 days and counting without taking an antihistamine. I call that a result. Delivered in 3 days too.

Plugged in straight away after a next day delivery! Great service and great product. This has cleared the air in our living room making it fresher and less dusty (we have an open fire most nights). Quite noisy to live with on full power and oscillation but quiet on low setting and set at static. Would recommend for fuss free and maintenance free use.

Will be short and to the point, this air filter is great if you want to clean the air in a large room or as I do in the house. We are sleeping better and feel more energetic since using it and the remote control is handy. It is not quiet and we can’t sleep with it on, however very easy to use and the timer function is very useful. Great buy and strongly recommend.

Works for my hay fever in the summer, we have it on top strength before bed before turning it down to the lowest setting throughout the night. The good thing is we can still leave the window (slightly) open to get fresh air and I am no longer sneezing like there’s no tomorrow! The filtered air is also slightly cooler so it is nice to use as a fan as well.

Bought this as a gift for my brother who suffered from allergies. The filter was very effective in removing pollens and other irritants.
So, covers a much bigger room area than many of its competitors. Also, it’s very quiet indeed on the lowest setting and perfectly reasonable on the other two which had been a concern for me. The tower takes up very little space and is very effective. Comes with a remote control for even easier operation. Would strongly recommend.

Sometimes my fridge stinks so I bought this product. It seems to be functional, but I can’t determine whether it’s absorbing the smell or it’s just blowing them away. Maybe after the first cleaning I will see if it’s really working great.
