    Absolutely brilliant cordless vac
Amazing for quick clean ups in the kitchen and for whizzing around the house while baby sleeps! Fantastic price and as good as (if not better) than other leading brands for an absolute fraction of the price. Really impressed by this. Should have bought it a lot sooner!

    Really good worke
This is light, portable and gets up a lot of rubbish. It does pick up hair -and I don’t even have a pet – I’m surprised how long I’m trimming the hairs off the brush, I had no idea we moulted that much!. I’m not sure how long it does last, i’ve never used it at one go from freshly charged to requiring another boost but it certainly lasts long enough to go through my modest house with left overs. The one thing I would mark it down for is the sheer difficulty of getting off the rubbish holder, difficult to wrestle off even worse to get back on properly.

    Very good
Bought to replace our Dyson vacuum. The Dyson was always poor at cleaning; we called it the ‘Dyson dust re-distributor’ and could always tell if an area had been cleaned with the Dyson or our Sebo (which actually works); eventually, the Dyson was lasting less than five seconds before the (replacement) battery ran out so needed to be replaced. The Hoover has been a revelation – much more effective than the Dyson ever was, quieter and the battery has yet to run out (not sure that we really needed to get the second battery but it means we can relax about recharging). The modular design is practical and intuitive. It is very light to hold. The capacity before it needs to be emptied is quite small but enough for us and it only takes moments to tip it out and start again. Can’t really think of any negatives…

Only a few weeks old and has broke
I previously left a review saying how well this worked, but let’s see how long it lasts. Well! After just a few weeks, the lid to the collection bin has broken and fallen off! It is very plasticky and not durable atall. I have checked to see how to report this in order to get a replacement part.
The procedure is such a faff! I have to return the broken pieces by walking a mile to a shop (I don’t drive). Then I’ll have to wait however long to get a replacement, without a vacuum cleaner at home.
I have found this procedure a real chore in the past, and it’s the only thing I find taxing about Amazon. I can’t find a way of talking to someone in order to get this sorted……I will try not to order any more large items from Amazon because of the faff when things go wrong.
So, mu advise…..don’t buy this cheaply made vacuum…….

Good suction, dual battery and filter, easy to empty, light weight, easy to operate, good price
Feels like designed by a company that knows all about vacuum cleaners! I have nothing but praise for this machine having used one at twice the price prior! Ergonomically designed. Controls are at finger tips and where easily visible. Open the bin with a press of a button! With the bin set vertically it simply empties itself! The floor unit brush is removable with a click of a button ready to clear hairs that clog floor brushes, very simple and effective. Even came with dual filters so you may have a new filter when the used on is drying upon cleaning. Well Done Hoover!

    sick of it !!
Just bought this because I am sick of my g tech pet air ram going over stuff but not picking it up, I purchased that because my old Dyson was too heavy and I can’t afford the new cordless ones, very disappointed with g tech, they are overated. I love this one, very lightweight, picks everything up with plenty of suction and the accessories are great help, I’m 65 so anything that helps me keep my bungalow clean is great. As with anything I buy I find understanding the instructions difficult so I will probably look on you tube. Having used this vacuum several times I have found that the battery doesn’t last long , this should come with a second battery so there is always one ready to use. I have now purchased a second battery so I can vacuum the whole house.
I am now 23/5/22 thoroughly sick of this vacuum. I hadn’t realised when I bought it that it needed to be on turbo constantly in order to get enough suctio to pick up properly. I have read that in turbo the max time is about 8 minutes, I probably get less than that and it isn’t enough time to hoover throughout my small bungalow. As the charge time is 6 hours it is too difficult to clean my house in one day. Keep reading people are getting 2 batteries with theirs, I certainly didn’t !!!!!!!!

    Converted to cordless hoovers!
I’ve had my corded hoover for years and was not convinced that a cordless one would have the same power but I really wanted something lightweight and easy to carry up and down stairs. After much research this Hoover brand came out second in reviews behind the very expensive Dyson Animal and it is like 200 cheaper! I am really pleased with how it performs, you can have it on normal suction or turbo and it has massively improved my carpets (I have a cat that sheds a lot of fur). The only thing to get used to is the battery time, I wish it were longer (its about 30-40 mins) but the (light) weight and maneuverability is a massive plus. Definitely converted and definitely recommend.

    Great lightweight hoove
This hoover is great, really cleans the edges. It’s super lightweight and really manoeuvrable. It also goes really flt for cleaning under sofa, bed etc. I’d recommend getting a spare battery as the charge time is quite lengthy, so it’s handy to have one already charged ready to go. I ha e a mix of wood, laminate, ceramic tiled and carpeted floors and it’s great on all surfaces, but if you have a mix, I don’t recommend fixing the additional blades for carpets as I found the hoover then dragged on other flooring. Only negative is emptying the canister is a faff, even with the tool provided. Other stick hoovers I’ve found easier in that regard.
Overall though, fantastic hoover highly recommended.

Works well in small house - needs bigger dust storage
Works well so far (about 6 months) – great at getting blasted dogs hair out of the carpet (I think we’re getting out stuff that’s been there for years). Definitely needs bigger dust storage as it has to be emptied too frequently (and the corners of the dust bin are a pain to get into, even with the supplied tools). Can’t speak for stairs, as we don’t have any, but I don’t see why there’d be a problem, as it’s pretty light. Suspect a bigger house would need to invest in extra batteries – we usually manage most of the (relatively small) house on a charge, but only just. Doesn’t really need a dock – we just leave it standing upright on the floor with the battery charge cable plugged in. Satisified overall, given the price (175) – much cheaper than the D word

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought for a specific purpose
I have been very pleased with this Hoover which I had purchased for a specific purpose-for vacuuming under beds and low level furniture and for this it has been excellent. The swivel feature offers such good manoeuvrability of the brush-head and , important for an occasional use appliance, it is so compact to store However, I personally, don’t use this Hoover for general, all-round-the-house vacuuming; the dust canister has small capacity and the battery charging time, if you are half way through an (already put-off) deep spring clean task can be quite frustrating!

Very efficient and easy to use.
Initial impressions are very good although not as easy to assemble at first compared to previous cleaners of this type. Effective in cleaning pet hair from a variety of surfaces. The two batteries are most useful avoiding the problem of power failing half way through a job. Would have given full 5 Stars but emptying the bin is messy compared to similar cleaners and needs a probe to get pet hair out.

    Great vacuum cleaner recommended
Bought for 80 year old mum after she had broken her hip to replace a cylinder type hoover. Mum has stairs and is ok going up & down them but not when trying to juggle a vacuum cleaner , but with this stairs are not an issue. It’s lightweight with great suction replaces a proper vacuum cleaner NOT just a cleaner to pick the bits off the carpet in between ‘proper vacuuming’

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersShould’ve bought it sooner!
We held off from buying a cordless vacuum cleaner as we weren’t convinced it would be powerful enough or that the battery would last long enough to clean the whole house. Also we don’t have a mega budget to afford a Dyson. But this machine is brilliant! It cleans our 3 bedroom cottage easily on one charge. It gets all the dust up and the cat hairs. It works effortlessly on wood flooring, kitchen tiles, short and long pile rugs and it’s great on the spiral stairs. And as it is light in weight you can carry it around the house easily. We also love how you can make it into a hand held little vac for the high up corners and awkward spaces.

I bought this to use I’m my kitchen and living room, both of which have hard floors. It’s excellent for running around every day to keep the place clean and tidy. Powerful enough for what I use it for and does the job well. I have used it on carpets a couple of times and it’s OK but bit great. It qp t do the job for a proper full om house clean and can’t compete with a cabled Shark/Dyson so don’t expect it to.

What a super compact cordless hoover. Just what we need for our 3 bed flat with a mixture of hard floor, Berber carpet and Persian rugs. Because we have Berber carpets in the bedrooms, we needed a hoover that could have the brush bar switched off and this has been difficult to find in most cordless models. Suction is great and is a brilliant design for really compact storage. Dust collection bin is small, but easy to empty.
My only disappointment, so the loss of a star, was that the lights on the front of the brush head only come on when the brush is revolving, so not on for hard floor/Berber carpet areas.

    Nifty little sucke
What’s not to love? We live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have a dog who seems to shed year round and I can hoover the whole place including the stairs without the battery running out. I’ve even managed to vacuum two days running on one charge.
Obviously, if you use it in ‘turbo’ mode the battery runs out more quickly but I can still get most of the house done.
The big toothbrush thingy is absolutely genius. I hope whoever thought of it applied for the patent!
The fact that you can take every part of the canister to bits in order to clean it is amazing.
Like I said, what’s not to love!

This is a very well made device with nice features. The attachments click in easily and they even give you a special Hoover bag to store them in so they don’t get lost – nice touch. I cleaned my car with it and it was very good. Swapping attachments for crevices, mats, seats etc. The transparent dirt collector is a good feature as you can see how much dirt and debris you have collected and know when to empty it obviously. Stands up on its own minimising use of space. Half the price of other similar machines but works very well. No negative comments to make so far. Great scores given to it on comparison sites.

    Best cordless I've ever used
I’ve had four or five cordless vacuums and most have something major wrong with them. Some are loud, don’t pick anything up, get clogged up and the Vax I had couldn’t stand up and fell over and scratched the wall. This Hoover 500 is superb. It’s lightweight, has a long battery life, easy to manoeuvre and the attachments can be fitted very quickly. It even folds down if you’re tight for space.

It works both on carpet and hard floors. Good for going over furniture and can be quickly taken from one mode to another, the tools that I mainly use are attached and not fiddly to change.

The only slightly negative thing is the size of the dust collector, it has to be emptied after each use, maybe a good thing!!

A right angled long haired dusting brush would be useful. The tube is rectangular so the generic ones don’t fit.

It’s good for cleaning up hair but I don’t think is great for pets hair.

I bought the ‘Pet’ model. We have four cats and a dog. The special head is excellent at hoovering up hair from pets bedding, carpets and from hard floors. Using the same head makes hoovering stair carpets easy. It takes a time to get used to emptying the collection drum regularly and making sure the filter is clean. The machine will stop if it needs emptying or the battery is low. It is so easy to use around the house and in bathrooms especially. I have a Henry Hoover for sturdier hoovering.

Excellent, easy to use and does a great job
We bought this to replace our ageing Gtech and right away, this is a huge improvement. Suction is very good in standard operation and excellent when switching on the turbo function. Battery life is also very good in standard mode, with one charge able to vacuum all 3 floors of our townhouse no problem. Operation is easy, with extensions etc clicking into place with little effort, and it quickly breaks down for storage, taking up very little space. The attachments are good too, and capacity is also better than the equivalent Gtech

The only (minor) negative is that the roller does get clogged quite easily – however the head is very easy to clean out and maintain, having a quick release brush.

Very light and manoeuvrable. Was expecting to wall mount it, but it takes up so little space that we haven’t bothered. Suction is great too. We use it downstairs on our tiled and wood floors but also for doing the carpeted stairs. The ability to turn the brush on and off during use is also good, as is the fact that you don’t have to hold a trigger down to keep it switched on. Great vacuum for the price. Would definitely not go back to a dyson cordless after using this. Second battery is also very useful.

    One small niggle
A good light weight cleaner, works well on carpet wooden floors, easily stored in the airing cupboard meaning I no longer have to lug the Sebo up and down stairs. My one niggle is that after every session I have to strip the filters etc to clean them, so I would recommend keeping an old tooth brush handy. The battery usage is not bad, one charge is enough to do stairs, landing, 3 bedrooms and the bathroom. Update another small niggle is small brush and a long haired wife and dog, so a small pair of scissors comes in handy.

    Very good purchase so fa
It’s been more than a month now and I can say that I’m very positively surprised about this. I was very skeptical about wireless vacuums for the reasons that everyone talks about of short battery life, poor suction etc. These may all be real concerns but the advantage of having a little and light appliance always ready, greatly outweights the disadvantages. Surely suction is not comparable to the old Electrolux upright, but neither is the weight and agility. Battery life is more than decent if you use standard suction mode. I can vacuum every day. It’s quite and easy to use. There are a few small issues, like the collector attachment is a bit cumbersome, the collector is a bit small, the various utensils cannot be attached to it and charging is a bit slow. Overall, however I’m very happy with it. It looks nice and it’s easy to use. No useless functions. It’s easy to clean and takes up very little space. What does one need more from a vacuum?
If it lasts over time, I shall see. For the moment, no complaints.

Really lightweight product and easy to use once you get your head around which bit clips where. Reason for the reduced star was not all attachments fit to the hoover when stored and to hoover the entire house we have to charge both batteries as we use turbo alot.

    Lightweight, great cordless vacuum
I researched so many cordless vacuum cleaners before choosing this one I wanted to leave a review to hopefully help others. I was originally going to purchase the popular fish related vacuum brand but based on the fact they are heavy to use I chose this one. Very glad I did – I think it’s great for the price – suction is fine for a cordless and having two batteries means you have enough run time. Emptying the dust cylinder is fine if you use the little tool. It’s really lightweight to use and the pet tool is great for stairs. Not sure what you would use on stairs if you haven’t got the pet tool though. All in all a great purchase.

    Brilliant vacuum!
I wish I’d bought this years ago. I can’t see any use for my other two vacuum cleaners because this is so much better in so many ways. Just being able to start vacuuming without having to unwind leads and plug in is a huge bonus in itself! The suction’s excellent – the battery still has a charge after cleaning my home (2 large bedrooms, large kitchen mat plus 2 large sitting room rugs). And it cleans right up to the edges. I vacuumed my cellar staircase carpet using the handheld part and it did a lovely job. So convenient. The clips separating the different parts aren’t stiff (one of my vacuums hurts my hands because everything’s so stif). Being older doesn’t help! And, because everything unclips, cleaning the bristles is a breeze. A terrific buy.

light, small & quiet enough for casual or even therapeutic hoovering; great for rugs
I have the “full” pet version with the extra battery and the extra spinning brush attachment.

This is small and neat enough to park somewhere handy (rather than in a closet / spare room, with no trailing plastic tubes or wire stripping you up). And it’s light and quiet enough to just pick it up and do a bit of casual hoovering when you feel like it, eg when you see a bit of dust of fluff, rather than waiting till you’re going to do the whole place. The rotating brush for the carpet works very well: we have a couple of people with long hair, a new rug, and a couple of small “non-shedding” dogs; it picks up plenty of hair, fluff and a bit of dog hair which the incumbent Henry seems to have missed.

It does fill up very quickly with fluff (esp. with from the new rug which is still shedding a lot); the plastic hooked implement works well enough for fishing this out. OTOH I can do most of the stairs because the carpet there is a few years old, and dirt/dust doesn’t take as much space. Because of the small scale of the plastic cylinder it’s easy enough to just take it outside to clean out. I have been using the scissors trick to remove hair from the roller (which comes out easily enough with a clip)

After a strong coffee I may find myself using up both batteries but one is usually enough to assuage any hoovering cravings. The carpet attachment on turbo is the most power-hungry but there’s enough for the rug (~6′ x 9′) and a bit more. Having two makes it easier to keep them charged, of course. The little charger looks underpowered when we are used to fast-charging phones etc; and it’s a bit frustrating not having competitive 3rd-party options. I might explore DIY / 3rd party options once they start wearing down and the warranty is gone.

I like the little LED headlights which do seem to light up the dust if you’re hoovering in low-light.

I haven’t really used the sort of half-sized rotating brush attachment, which may be for curtains or something (we don’t have any…)

The various parts mostly slot together in quite a satisfying way. The little brush on the brush-only nozzle seems slightly too flimsy, but it’s been OK so far. The anodized(?) aluminium parts and joints are nice to handle. The thing stands up nicely on its own in a couple of different configurations.

I’m pleased with this and my enthusiasm for using it is even earning me a few household brownie points.

Most convenient vacuum cleaner owned so fa
Excellent for everyday maintenance of the house. Having no cord it makes the whole experience easy and fast. It comes with two batteries but even one is enough to clean a spaceous 2-bedroom apartment. Only downside is that if you have long hair, the power brush for carpets needs to be detached and cleaned thoroughly every week or two. Overall very happy with this choice.

    Lightweigh
Being light weight and cordless means vacuuming takes half the time. Easy to use. Only downside is due to me having longhair. You have to clean the brush frequently to remove hair.

    A simple effective cordless vacuum
I’m so pleased I chose this cordless hoover. I have had a Dyson and Shark and this is my favourite out of the 3. It’s light weight, great on stairs and hard floors and it very simple to use and maintain. Very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLightweight and Compact with decent suctio
This product provides a decent suction on hard floors and carpet but I do feel the intensity of the suction is greater on hard floors. There are times when the carpet mode switches on without being selected, I can only think that this is caused by the brush being forced down with the strength of the suction and rotating to then activate the carpet mode.
There is a good range of cleaning accessories, but I would have liked it if the nozzle had an additional attachment that was narrow and made it easier to clean tight corners.
If you intend to do a complete home clean (floors, upholstery, etc), I’d be surprised if the battery on full charge is able to cope with more than 3 small to medium sized rooms (roughly 4x4metres).
The lightweight and compact design is definitely a plus point for this product, there is no struggle to clean the stairs and then store away in the cupboard.
I don’t feel this vacuum would be ideal for anyone that has quite frail hands or arms as the detachment of the bin can be tricky – almost like opening up a tight lid on a jar. Other than that, the vacuum gives a good cleaning performance.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this hoover!!...far better than a Dyson V7!
I’m not one for writing reviews but this little hoover deserves much more credit than its getting!
I did my research, read reviews and bought a Dyson V7 pet…wow what a let down…it looked beautiful but was heavy, attachments were annoying and most importantly didn’t pick up any larger ‘bits’.
It went straight back after one use and I took a gamble on this.
What a difference!!! Not only was it cheaper than the Dyson, it’s compact, super lightweight, really nice to use. I love how it can be freestanding and some of the attachments are built in so it’s super quick to change to handheld mode.
I have 3 very young kids, 2 cats and a partner who surfs (SAND EVERYWHERE!!!). Playdoh, endless trails of crumbs, pet hair…people hair….this hoover gets rid of the lot, first go, no second sweeps needed.
It won’t completely replace your big vacuum cleaner, mine is a Henry, I love Henry but he’s so heavy!
I needed a vacuum to quickly run round the kitchen and playroom a few times a day and this is perfect for that.
On hard floors it’s battery will do around 20-25 mins. On carpet about 15 min. I don’t have enough time or patience to vacuum for longer than that anyway! This is all in normal mode, I’ve hardly used turbo as it cleans fab without but turbo will drain the battery faster.
You could get the version with two batteries if you want it to run longer but I’ve never run the battery to empty, I put it back on charge after using and it’s ready to go again when I need it…I’ve never waited 6 hours like some people have commented.
The bin is really simple to empty, filters are easy to pull out and clear anything that gets stuck. It’s quite a small bin though, no problem on hard floors, I empty the bin every couple of days on hard floors but on carpet it really picks up fluff so you’ll have to empty after every use.
I’ve got long hair and that gets caught in the roller brush, but I don’t need to clear it that often. It took me literally 2 mins to pop the brush out, cut down the little ridge on the bar, remove hair and pop it back on. I think all roller bars on hoovers get clogged like this and its really easy to clear this one.
Also loved the LED light on the front, the battery and mode indicator lights are fab and unlike the Dyson you don’t have to keep your finger on the button to make it work.
If you’re looking for something to replace your main hoover, this won’t do it and you’re going to have to spend a lot more money. But I think this is fantastic value, a great design and has made my life a lot easier…and crumb free!

    Great lightweight hoove
So handy – is now the main Hoover for carpets upstairs. Amazing how much dust it sucks up, so much so that it is blocked every time it’s used, makes you wonder what the previous hoover was up to.
Easy enough to empty and clean out, and the removable brush feature means you can easily remove the inevitable hair wrap.
All in all this was a good buy.

    Excellent vacuum cleaner.
This is a great cordless Hoover for every household job we’ve had. The price is fair and makes it good value when compared to the similar quality makes of cordless vacuum cleaner.

From 1 charge it’s good for 1 very thorough clean of our large 2 bed flat, and enough got 2/3 light uses.

It does fill up quickly but the trade off is it’s really light. Charging could easily be done overnight.

The suction doesn’t seem to worsen as it fills at all. The controls are easy to manage and it packs away neatly. The “turbo” mode does improve suction and volume but even on heavily dirtied carpet it hasn’t been actually needed.

The accessories are great but haven’t seen a huge amount of use.
The vacuum is easy to empty and looks smart.

We have had this a couple of months at the time of the review.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA more realistic price for a vacuum cleane
Upon searching for a new vacuum cleaner, I was a bit taken aback to discover some were selling for more than 600! Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for quality products, but 600 for a vacuum cleaner to pick up dust and hairs is having a laugh.
Having shopped around and done some research I managed to find this vacuum which is about 1/5th of the price and I have found can also pick up dust and hair quite adequately. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble and easily cleaned as well – which is I guess is important if it’s to keep working as efficiently as it has to date.
All in very happy with the product and price. I’m now thinking about what to spend the 480 saving on.

Light, mobile, sturdy and performs well.
Very light weight and convenient. Easy storage and good suction on high power mode. The extra battery is helpful as this is not designed for long periods of use, but it’s fantastic for regular quick cleans and it’s lightweight but sturdy. The collection drum is quite small, but regular emptying and cleaning is pretty easy. Really pleased with this. Used to have a Henry hoover, and that was big, bulky and heavy. This doesn’t have the overall suction power of a Henry, but i found this hoover to actually be better on carpets because of the rotating brush. And you don’t have cables dragging around!

    Great back-up cleane
This is brilliant vacuum for my needs – I purchased as back-up cleaner in order to use between fuller house cleans and to vacuum the car. It doesn’t have the power of my heavy plug-in Dyson, but I didn’t expect it to – it’s perfect for what I need it for though. It’s also great for the stairs – no more lugging my heavy corded cleaner up and down or balancing it precariously on one of the stairs. An additional plus is that I can whip over the kitchen laminate floor quickly – much better than getting the dustpan and brush out. All in all, a great vacuum: lightweight; easy to manoeuvre under and around furniture; has plenty of tools and is very compact, which makes storage a doddle
