Good Camera for cost but lacks Zoom
Bought this camera as a cheap replacement for a 3 year old failed Jennov P22HT55. It lacks a bit of picture quality and zoom, but all good and very happy for the cost. Very pleased that it connects to my existing CCTV software which monitors my other cameras, and the tracking is more responsive.

Quality camera at reasonable price
Bought to keep eye on driveway and vehicles. Very pleased with the quality and additional features this camera offers (solar charging, movability, lights). Was easy to install app on phone and set up. Picture quality is excellent (day & night) and alerts are received very quickly on phone app. Time will tell on the longevity of the battery and but, so far so good with the solar backup.
Like many I’m sure, I was very hesitant about WiFi cameras, having only had hard wired systems with a DVR before.
I bought two of these solar PTZ cameras, along with two 128gb SD cards for storage. Each camera was fitted in less then 10-15 mins, the software was a doddle to download & setup on my WiFi & touch wood….I’ve been played around with the cameras via the app to familiarise myself with them & set them up just how I want them & they’re pretty amazing so far. Picture quality is more than adequate on SD (standard definition), but change it to the QHD & the images just pop! Superb quality, both day & night. If I don’t catch the person who’s dumping stuff in my skip now, there’s no hope! . Obviously the long term test will really determine how good these cameras are, but to date – couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Might even think about getting a third. The fact they Pan/Tilt/Zoom via the app is amazing. Even away from home, the app connects to my cameras immediately. Alot better than some of the bigger name brands with a DVR I’ve used previously.

I ordered x3 ieGeek cameras. The ZS-GX1S, ZS-GX2S & ZS-GX3S. I use the ZS-GX1S & ZS-GX2S to monitor my front door & drive including an EV charge point. And I use the ZS-GX3S as a general portable camera for use at various locations inside and out, the idea being I can also use it as a baby monitor when my grandson is staying over, for which it is excellent. By the way I also bought the Joby JB01505-BWW GorillaPod 325 Tripod which works great with the ZS-GX3S especially when being used as a baby monitor. All the ieGeek cameras have excellent functionality and so far they have performed flawlessly. Customer relations are great and very responsive. In all I am very please with my purchases and I can thoroughly recommend ieGeek cameras for overall design, build quality and customer support.
Battery camera
I brought the battery camera. Installation is very simple.It has good battery. Good WiFi strength. Support 360 . Picture clarity is nice. It supports motion detection. But it doesn’t support 24 hour continuous recording.
Really quite happy with this camera. I uses it for hedgehog footage. So far so good – my 4 stars are because the wifi signal is very poor – bought an extender but still weak. The sd card is very fiddly and the battery doesn’t last as long as I would like – have to recharge every other day – but this is because there is a lot of alarms. The capture is slow so I miss the entrance of the doggies by about 5 seconds or so. Also, it is larger than I would have wished for – but hey – overall pretty good.
Better than expected
Came next day, really easy to set up and one of the few this size that is rechargeable so truly wireless or you can run it from the mains.

Great camera
Great affordable camera, easy to operate, only minus is that if it is installed far away from where the router then Internet extender is needed.
Problem
This is a nice camera, unfortunately you cannot get it to work wireless….it willnot connect at all….you set it up and as soon as you take out the Internet cable it loses connection.
So unfortunately, it has to be hard wired…..and that’s just what I didn’t want.

We bought this new brand security camera with reference to the specifications. Yes, it is easy to install and set the system step-by step. We can view on the scene and check the history, and such quality picture of day/night vision is good. Besides, it is esay to adjust the camera, etc. Great security camera! Thumb up!
Easy setup
Bought this camera last week to replace a Ring camera that had served its purpose. Really easy set up and very responsive every step of the process. Now have control of 180′ view as opposed to a fixed view. It also has a tilt function. The quality of the picture is excellent and can also zoom in for closer view. Excellent piece of kit at a good price and would happily recommend it.
Very functional camera at a good price
I wanted an outdoor camera to cover the rear of my property and I wanted a camera that I could access remotely for when I am on holiday. I also wanted to avoid battery powered so I can fix and forget.
This camera gives WIFI access is wired with a 12 volt adapted supply and is pannable remotely.
The instructions say you need an 80% WIFI signal at the camera. (Camera eqipped with twin antennas)
My camera is around 10 meters from the router and an external wall in between – I still have an 82% signal at the camera and it never drops out or looses access.
I couldnt initially work out how to switch on “intelligent tracking” (the camera is capable of locking onto a movement and panning automaticilly to follow it).
The iegeek customer service responded quickly and sent instructions (and a video!) to show how to switch on – now activated – although at the time of writing I have not yet viewed a recording of a tracked target.
The camera records to an SD card allowing triggered alarms or normal footage to be reviewed without the cost of cloud storage.
Only cons I can mention are:-
-There are 3 wire tails on the camera – ( a reset button, ethernet socket and the 12v power socket)
I didnt want these dangling in the wind so bought a waterproof junction box (75mm x 75mmx50mm was sufficient) installed it alongside the camera, took the power supply out the rear and through the wall, and tucked all the tails neatly inside.
Like some products the installation manual could be clearer but with my experience with the igeek customer service – help is readilly available
I would definately recommend this as good value for money and very functional, and DIY installation capable.
Great camera but very big/intrusive
I bought this camera as I wanted a 24/7 recording camera with night vision. The camera came well packaged with good instructions. The SD card slot was inside camera which would be ideal with weather.
I tested the camera just with the window open as you can see the night vision is good and clear picture.
Unfortunately I returned this camera for several reasons, first because it’s so large it’s quite intrusive also I could never get time to stay correct no matter how many times I synced and saved it , it would revert back to Hong Kong time which if I needed it for evidence say if a crime occurred I think having the incorrect time. It also would never connect to my Mac. So didn’t work out for me but maybe for someone else this would.
Fantastic Solar Security Camera
I’ve had this camera set up nearly a week now and I think it’s great. It feels really well made and high quality too. Very easy to set up, install and operate. I was a little concerned whether the solar panel would charge the camera, during our Welsh winter weather. The sun came out and charge returned to 100% from 84% in a few hours. Night vision is great as you can see in my video. This street is pitch black with no street light. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this camera. Absolutely awesome
Simple setup with fantastic features and crisp video
I have fitted over 12 of these cameras for family and friends now as they are so simple to use. As long as you can get wired internet or WiFi and have a socket nearby ( you can purchase a separate extension power lead if the one one the camera isn’t long enough to reach to a socket.) I would recommend purchasing a good quality high read write memory card as well as cheap cards are more prone to failure. The night vision and the option of colour night vision using the illuminating LEDs on the camera is brilliant. You can pan tilt and zoom these cameras from anywhere in the world using the mobile app. You can also watch back the footage which is saved on the memory card in ten minute blocks using the app. You can download the footage and save it to your phone in seconds. You can set-up alarms to be sent to your mobile if movement is picked up on the camera and you can select a specific area of the screen for the alarm to monitor. Until you use one you don’t realise how much you get for your money with these cameras!
Great wifi and wireless camera.
Love this camera, the night vision is great. You can switch between SD and HD mode. Alert Management is good too, you can set the times you require for motion detection and can set sensitivity level. The pan and tilt feature allows to see from every angle. You have 2 way talk, so if you are out you can talk when you receive a motion detection. It also has night lights to allow you can see more clearly. Another good feature is the solar panel which charges when the battery level drops, just ensure you face it towards the sun so it has the best opportunity to charge. It has an alarm and siren feature to send any unwanted guests back. Optional feature to add upto 128gb SD card.
This is a good camera with excellent features. I would recommend it.

I was surprised how big this camera is, but I suppose it might make it quite visible to people and be more of a deterrence. Picture quality is good in fact it’s worth the money and it’s recommended.

The seller contacted me to help me with my issue. Definitely their customer service is amazing and the want their clients to be satisfied. They’ve have offered a replacement and few clues to make sure the camera will meet my expectations. I will test it further taking into consideration seller’s advice.
I’ve bought this camera with a huge dose of doubt. Battery powered camera with so many functions? It sounded impossible. I’ve tested this camera for almost a month and now can share my honest opinion.
Positives: definitely very good picture, clear night vision in infra red and colourful with built in LED spotlight. Really good resolution of recorded videos. Multiple settings and useful options. It really does provide 360 degrees of view. Battery is so efficient that after a month of constant monitoring and recording it still has over 50%. Very easy installation and set up.
Negatives: response time and connection strength. My 3 band mesh router is right behind the wall, where the camera is installed. Despite small distance, the camera shows 60% of WiFi signal. Being next to the camera I achieved around 300Mb/s download and over 30 upload. This shouldn’t cause any delays in camera response yet the movement and control of the camera is veeeerrrryyy lagging. I recorded video while using the camera so everyone can see how it works. Maybe my unit is faulty but this makes it useless for me. I need it to move quickly and efficiently without delays because this spoils the whole idea of wireless outdoor camera.

Having used it for over a month now, I’m very happy with it, so I would frankly recommend it.
Just what I needed for my garden wildlife watch. I regularly get visited by a couple of hedgehogs and also a selection of other creatures. The camera lens quality is perfect for my need, the night time view is very suitable but I avoid using the colour option at night to avoid the spotlights frightening the animals away. I did have a problem with selecting the auto track function on one of the phones I use, however this turned out to be a phone problem, all the camera functions worked ok with my other equipment. I am very impressed with the help and attention I received from the seller, they were extremely helpful and polite during my contact with them. I now have a total of three IeGeek cameras covering my home outside areas, all three are doing a fine job.
Very simple and easy to set up, great quality image
Received product with 48hrs of order, set up straight away and item was very simple to set up on my WiFi, app and mount on the house. Covers all the areas required.
I’ve put the light alarm on for the night detection, however turned off the sound alarm as this is quite loud and I’m on a small close. I feel this perk would be great if you had a bigger house/estate as it wouldn’t disturb neighbours like it would do on our terraced property.
Would absolutely recommend but Sod’s Law we bought it on a “deal” and two days later it was a lot cheaper!! So keep an eye on it, if I had known I’d have waited

But I am editing that review, as now everything seems yo work as it should, because I contacted the seller, who emailed back with instructions on how to sort my issues. So, so far so good I shan’t throw it in the bin.

Great Product, but also Great Service!
This camera is a seriously great piece of kit at an incredible price for the quality and the features. Other reviewers can attest to the product but I wanted to go on record to compliment the great after sales service. My camera developed a fault after several months of perfect operation (it can happen for any electronic product) for which I contacted the IGeek tech support team and the response I received was both very prompt, and very helpful with really useful comments and suggested diagnostics etc. The final solution was a product replacement which again was dispatched immediately without any fuss. This is excellent customer service and for me this company deserves a 5 star review. Highly recommended.
I bought some ieGeek security cameras in 2018 and they have always worked great. It was time to replace one of them and I got this one. I use HiCamPro as the app to setup the camera and view the video stream.
The camera was easy to set up – only took a few minutes to get it connected to my wifi. I initially used the supplied network cable to connect the camera to my router. That way the app can easily find the camera by scanning the QR code on the camera itself. From there set the wifi details, disconnect the network cable. Open the compartment to pop in the micro sd card (I used the one from my old camera). Quick reboot to check the camera connects to the wifi and then screw it in place on the wall.
The picture quality of this camera is great, much better than the one I bough 5 years ago, the panning option allows you get an extremely wide view available and it all works through your phone when you are away from home.
Fixed this up on outside if building before Xmas so it’s been running a few weeks. Easy to set up and link to wi fi. Daytime its a really good picture and easy to move camera up down, left to right via mobile device. I dont use alarm settings but set up alerts which work well. There have been a couple of instances where the connection to wi fi has dropped for a minute but its literally about one in a hundred times I check it, so pretty reliable. Nighttime the camera is ok in black and white mode but you cant see that well so probably best to use the light on the camera if you need to see more definition. If theres some background light from street light this would probably help quite a bit since I notice when my neighbour has his spotlight working the additional light makes my picture clearer. Battery currently on 63% after almost 4 weeks but as I say I haven’t used the alarm or audio function. I guess it will need a recharge in another 3 or 4 weeks. On the whole its a very decent bit of kit for the money paid and I would consider a 2nd camera for the rear of the building if I decide I need one.
Bought this camera more to observe what wildlife was coming to our garden rather than a security camera. Early days but my views so far:
I was a little daunted by the setup process but as it turned out I needn’t have been. I followed the limited printed instructions and downloaded the cloudedge app. It then took me through step by step and in no time I had a picture. Considering the light level I was suprised at the quality. I was hoping for a bit more resolution when I zoomed in but it might be better in full daylight. It is very easy to operate from my tablet and have also connected it to my wife’s phone as well. assuming all continues to be OK I will purchase another as a security camera for the rest of the house.
Good overall CCTV
Likes : Easy installation, solar powered, wireless, easy set up prior to installation. good packaging, adequate picture quality, adjustable sensor area, Wi-Fi control of surveillance area, adjustable trigger area, alarm, voice communication. So far, even in winter with the camera south facing, battery power is not an issue.
Dislikes: there is a delay in recording the video once an object is detected by a couple of seconds. Needs to have a percentage battery indicator. could have better picture quality. Could have had auto tracking feature, 30 cheaper on EBay.
Reasonable picture for the money
Seals on the camera do not look that great so not sure how long will last . Cables are not the best design for outside installation but much cheaper than the battery operated units. Took a couple of hours to set up using a waterproof box as I already had power to outside light.
A camera that will provide you with superb imagery and video.
The camera is worth every penny as the features are good. Picture and video quality are spot on. Great camera for a reasonable price you can not go wrong as the camera is also user friendly. The battery file is good and the solar panel does it’s job keeping camera battery life topped up.

Excellent Camera for Home Surveillance
Bought two cameras upon recommendation from a friend. The cameras were delivered on time. Packed excellently and with clear instructions, they were extremely easy to install (90% of the time was spent on drilling holes in the wall). They came with their own set of screws and wall plugs, which were a perfect fit.
Cameras are easy to connect to the Wi-Fi and the IeGeek app. Takes only a little bandwidth. Initiates immediate response and alert when somebody approaches it, irrespective of day or night. Picture quality is good enough to identify a person at 15-20 feet (depending upon light). Have abundant options for setting alarm levels, battery management, and recording (only with Cloud service or SD card).

Very pleased with the quality of this product and excellant customer service. Had a problem in receiving a good wi-fi signal but this was due to my wi-fi extender. Found it very easy to install and use and would purchase another one if required. 5 stars.

I found the yellow drawing area useful for setting the trigger area for the alarm identify exactly where you want the trigger area.
Very easy to move the camera (pan / tilt) from within the app and to delete unwanted recordings
The battery appears to drop a 2-3 percent power per day so battery life so I would estimate would be 2 to three months depending on triggering of sensor and how long you set the recording for.

Solid camera and well made, little bit bigger than what I was expecting. Very easy to install the app and connect via the Wi-Fi with easy user functionality.
Mine is set up outside on the garage about 20m from the broadband hub and the signal strength is good.
Cons.The sensor needs to be set to 10 (max) to pick up any movement which is about 6m from where it’s fitted on the garage to pick up anyone by the back door..any further could cause issues and not detect anything.
Also the unit is secured onto a fixing plate with 4 plastic screw fixings (2 in each side) that can easily be unscrewed and tampered with, it would have been better if the product was supplied with anti theft screws or fixings.

I love this camera works great only problem is the auto alarming function if you live on a busy road the automatic detection sense the reflection of light on your own car and notifies you as moveme
Good for the price
I like the picture quality it’s not brilliant but good for the money the big problem is the WiFi it’s range isn’t great I had to get a WiFi repeater for the playback to work properly
I like this cam. It’s VERY easy to install. I had one or two issues with connection hear and there but so far I’d say it connects 99% of the time when I open the app.
I like the user interface on the app and I have also tried a few other cams where the “alarm area” doesn’t always work.
With this cam’s software, you simply highlight specific areas of the image you wish to have triggered by motion sensor. This works well if you have an area within your cams frame that you do/don’t want to be monitored. For example, if you live by a road, the passing cars will trigger the alarm constantly, but if you select a certain area only, you won’t get constant notifications.
Also, a little tip: when in live view you can pan/tilt by simply swiping left/right/up/down. Which I think is handy.
I only wish it had a sort of “park mode” where if you pan around, you can simply tap “Park” and it goes back to default instead of having to move back manually.
Definitely worth the money.

Great wireless security camera
I had purchased 3 different wireless cameras before and sent them back due to not being able to set them up, then as a last try I bought the ieGeek 2K 360 Wireless Security Camera. I charged it fully on arrival and then it connected straight away to my iPhone. Battery has lasted three months and the charge indicator on the phone app still shows little below half. I can pan and tilt the camera remotely via the app and talk to near the camera location. I t also has a siren the can be set on the app.

I’ve used this company many times and am always really happy with the cameras. Great app and excellent battery life – even with solar panel in the winter it stays charged. This camera is their most sturdy one yet. I’ve found them so reliable and the customer service is really the best I’ve had from a company. I set mine so that it can pick up my cat so i know when he’s out and about but you can also set it to only pick up humans.
A big saving
I was quoted 700 to 900 by a security/alarm company to install cameras around my property. I bought one of these cameras on Amazon and installed it in the porch. It was easy to install and works really well. The battery is one month in and hasn’t needed a re charge yet. I bought a second for outside the back french windows. It works just as well so I’m
going to buy a third. I’d recommend these. We are away a lot and it definitely gives you a feeling of security being able to check out your home whilst you’re away.

Once set up easy to use. After working out how to split the WiFi channels, it was easy. Set this up to watch my tortoises. Son tested it out pretending to steal one! Night vision good, and control for light & siren bonus. 2 cats caught looking for place to toilet! Light scared them off. Great product for a good price
Fantastic camera
I recently bought the blink camera and was not impressed . So I was looking for a alternative. I came across ie geek . And decided to go for a security camera . The camera arrived it was very well made taking it out the box . So I got it installed and was amazed with the quality of the 2k vision . Has everything you need for a security camera . I also purchased the solar panel . And not had to charge the camera since it arrived . Overall great product and fantastic customer support from ie geek .

Great protection camera
This camera is a ‘winner’. Very easy to install, easy to connect to WIFI, looks great and works very well. The images are very clear and much better than previous security camera’s we have used. A good price for such an awesome camera.

extremely easy to set up
I’ve bought this camera to use to keep an eye on a property abroad. It was incredibly easy to setup and was up and running in 5 minutes. The quality is great and installation of the app was very intuitive. I now have 2 of these cameras and both have worked flawlessly now for 3 months on a single charge.
CCTV Camrea
Over the past few years i have bought four IEGeek CCTV camreas they do what it says on the box they are easy to set up and work fine in both my back garden and at the front door. The quality of the picture of the 2k version is great and i am surprised how much wildlife i catch on camrea.
Battery powered security camera
Really happy with my purchase of these battery powered security cameras, i purchased one first to try it out and once i was happy i purchased another three to cover the whole house. They are easy to link up to your mobile and due to not requiring any wiring can be mounted any where you like on your house. The clarity of the pictures is very good in both day light and at night and the night lights work well to light up the garden. The cameras are easy to mount but you need to think about this when you position them as you will need to take them down for charging.
Does the nob
The battery lasts ok. Been working for 4 weeks and still got a charge.
Night vision is ok but not as good as other cameras I have.
so i purchased at least 4 different types of cameras and had to return them all as they werent quite cutting it or what i wanted. This is by far the best camera i bought but before you get it you should know the following
1) It works just as good as the blink camera which is much cheaper and works just as well if not better
2) its not a 360 camera but it is close. it goes up, and side to side but it doesnt go downward which is really strange
3) it picks up sound really well but if your too close to the camera with your phone the static is unbearable so remember if you mute it to turn it back on
4) the battery life lasts around 3 months and i check mine multiple times daily
Excellent cam.
Easy to set up, good Wi Fi through several walls, several weeks of good battery, but now I’m going to use a solar panel,
so I don’t need to take it off, to charge it. USB charging takes several hours from about 30%, but the manual recommends that you don’t fully charge it, thus giving a longer battery life. Record times can be adjusted from the default, as can motion sensitivity. Picture quality is great. Because it needs no external power supply, it’s easy to mount wherever you need it, if it’s in Wi Fi range. Good stuff.
My only wish is that it had an optical zoom, thus the 4 stars, but otherwise it’s a recommend.
This unit is quite remarkable considering the price. It includes infra red night vision, LED motion activated light’. 360 degree viewing, recording to an SD and wireless connection to WiFi. PLUS – a ‘follow-me’ function that work amazingly and is quite eerie having it track you around the garden. A great deterrent.
However, it does have a few annoying flaws:
– As with most of the cheap network devices, the software is disappointing. Counter-intuitive and a little buggy.
– The motion detection is way too sensitive. Even in it’s lowest settings it’s picking up moths/midges, plants gently swaying, etc. You definitely don’t want to activate notifications on your phone!
– The follow-me function is great and it does return back to a setting of your choice. However, it does get confused and not always return back. As a result, you end up with endless notifications as it’s pointing at something moving or at the wall behind it (which it doesn’t like).
That all said, I would strongly recommend it. It does seem to have settled down recently (maybe a software update) and I may turn the ‘follow-me’ function back on.
Very pleased with the quality
Easy to set up, using a memory card you then don’t have to pay for a cloud service. Good picture quality (night vision not as good as another I previously had but is sufficient)and when logged into the camera can pan an tilt. Solar panel works well to charge the battery so far, would buy again.
Great camera
The camera is very easy to set up with clear instructions and an easy to understand app.
I purchased the camera after reading the positive reviews and I am really pleased I did.
Firstly the build quality exceeded my expectations and the setting up process was straightforward.
I can now monitor the outside of the property especially after having the catalytic converter stolen from my driveway, check deliveries, and keep an eye on the house when away from it. I have used a 128gb card in the camera and have even fitted the same model for two of my neighbours.
The option to pan with the camera is great and it gives a good field of view and a quality image.
I will be buying again for a family member who is also impressed by the camera.
CloudEdge app is USELESS
Cant fault the devices, but PLEASE BEWARE ANY DEVICE that USES THIS APP. Nobody answers any correspondence, have tried for many months, but waste MY TIME……..and money spent on devices.
Excellent wireless solar cctv
Easy to install and it’s not complicated to set up. Very nice motion detect sensors and I can remotely to view my rear garden when I am at work.

My need for surveillance is not typical and my review reflects this.
I live in a converted Bank (was Natwest) with mirror glass windows to the highstreet. As such, we see everything that goes on out there, except at night.
As a move to brighten the view of the Island when Royalty visits, troughs of flowers have been installed.
Apart from an egg thrown at Father Christmas a few years ago, crime is rare. However, we have lots of visitors because we are Covid free and they bring crime and bad behaviour with them.
As a deterrent, I fitted this camera so it is conspicuous. No one has noticed it…
The detection is remarkably efficient. It does record all humans and excludes passing vehicles, dogs and the occasional tumbleweed sized piece of litter. I was impressed.
The sound quality during a two way conversation is clear enough to be practical, even though the camera is 10 metres from the door. The sound feature is of no interest to me other than scaring the bejeebers out of children messing about with the flowers. They hear this very loud, God-like voice and that cures them of all mischief.
As you will notice from my screen shot, I have angled the camera in an unusual way. I wanted the whole overhanging frontage captured. A normal angle doesn’t work. This is not a fault with this camera.
Setting up was very simple. The only anxiety I had was, I don’t have a WiFi password, it is an open system. The field accepted gobbledegook so problem solved.
There were some issues with camera positioning and image delay. I contacted the manufacturer and after providing some info, a firmware fix over the air put matters right.
Their response was very prompt and thorough. They sent the firmware fix, it wasn’t directly available because it was about to be released, all I had to do was agree to accept it.
All issues solved within two days. Great service.
The camera was well presented and it had a manual. The instructions might be sufficient but I thought more detail and clarity would be helpful.
The app gives me the impression it has been added to and adapted rather than designed. It takes some getting use to and is far from instinctive. None- the- less, it does work well.
For the typical user, looking to secure their front door, this will be ideal.
In my case, because of the huge number of detections, the battery will last only 10 days before recharging. I have to provide external power to solve this. Not a fault, just a consideration.
The app will drain your phone battery. With normal use, my phone lasts 12 hours before a recharge. With the app running in the background, it needs power all day and night so it has power when I am out with it. This will happen with any app that runs continuously, so in a sense, this isn’t a fault.
I have set up the app on a second old phone and rely on the SD recording to deal with culprits if they cause damage. Also in my case, the constant beep warnings of detection is annoying. This is a quiet street but not as quiet as your front door. I accept the issue as being unavoidable.
Image clarity over the frontage means HD has to be used. Typical front door installations will only need SD.
Night vision is quite adequate and provides identifiable images.
I am pleased with this camera and service.
Security and peace of mind
This is a nice bit of kit. It sets up easily (just RYFM and follow the instructions slowly and carefully). Got this mounted on a corner bracket and it can “see” round both sides of the house as it’s range of travel is almost (but not quite) 360 degrees.
It won’t track about by itself but at this price I’d be amazed if it did. Pop in a 128gb mini SD card, site the solar panel in the sunniest spot, screw to the backplate and good to go.
When set up you can get live feed, you can pan and tilt the camera although the mic is a bit noisy. Mostly though you will set it to the area where you want best coverage. The PIR will send a notification to you if something triggers it along with a snapshot of the cause. You can take control thereafter.
Night vision is quite good, had a test walking around and the resolution is adequate for the job.
For my needs it’s perfect, can’t comment on how it’ll weather a UK winter but for now – good stuff iGeek.

A child’s toy
Overpriced and ineffective. The picture quality is so bad that even if it did record (connection constantly falls out) when an intruder was present then your highly unlikely to make out anything more than a blurred image. Even images close up (and I tested by recording my face a foot away from the camera) are so vague you couldn’t make out enough clarity to interpret the face you are seeing.
Terrible customer service from iGeek too.
Sent back to Amazon and got a full refund.
Spend a bit more and get the Reolink camera which is a 1000 times better on all fronts!
Happy overall
First time I’ve purchased a CCTV camera.
I wanted wireless and solar powered to save having to drill holes etc.
I’m overall very happy with this camera.
The video quality is good and the detection is very sensitive and doesn’t miss anything.
The WiFi signal is strong even though its on the back wall and our WiFi router at the front of the house.
Even overcast days the solar panel keeps the battery fully charged.
The software can be a bit slow sometimes but generally works OK.
The speaker is also a good volume if you want to communicate through the camera.
So far I’m very happy with my
purchase and considering purchasing another for the front of my property.
It would have been nice to have colour night vision but not essential.
