The setup was confusing…Some of the YouTube videos you find help a lot.

But basically, you communicate with the cameras wifi connection.

    Then follow the set-up prompts..
Scan the QR code on the camera….select the option for audio link….
And place your phone CLOSE to the camera.

You will hear your phone speaker and the camera speaker exchanging tones for a minute or so.

Afterwards you get a success connecting.

Then you tell the camera your home wifi and password it will use.

After that,I installed CamHiPro which seemed to work seamlessly with the cameras.

I’ve only had the two cameras in my house here in Portugal for about a month and a half…but so far they are working fine

works ok picture quality is good , wi-fi can be a bit off or something as the picture can have a bit of stutter at times and the motion censer can be a bit over sensitive even when turned a long way down , moving bushes and even the steam from the boiler set it off

Relatively easy to install and I am a woman:) The picture quality and night vision – surprisingly good for the money. However the motion detection picks up every movement and the notifications gets a little overbearing dispute turning down sensitivity

pleased how easy to install , motion detector is too sensitive picks up any any movement like branches moving in wind so have to turn off , which makes it useless for what it was intended for.

Unlike some mainstream brands cameras, this ieGeek camera works really well with MotionEye. If you need to connect it to your instance of ME, just select Network Camera and add this address:

    rtsp://CAMERA.IP:554/11

The protocol used by the camera is RTSP, so just use the internal IP for it and port 554 (default RTSP port, unless you’ve changed it from the camera web interface), followed by /11.

Don’t bother with the camera web interface if not to change streaming port and some other settings; it still uses ActiveX and will only “run” on Internet Explorer (laughs in UNIX). I’ll be honest and admit that I haven’t used the camera Android app outside of the first configuration, so I’m not able to tell whether it’s good or not.

Image quality is really good on daylight at 1080p @ 25fps, and the infrared LEDs provide enough illumination up to at least a good 7-8 metres during the night, even with all street lights turned off. The quality bottleneck for me is the CPU speed on which MotionEye is running on (Raspberry Pi 4 4GB as a Docker container).

Long story short, get this camera if you have your own instance of MotionEye running (or the NVR software of your choice).

Good for price. Purchased due to dispute with the delivery of a bedroom suite which was never delivered and took 10weeks to resolve. Solely purchased on the basis of proof of deliveries as was decorating house from top to bottom. Bedroom suites, beds and furniture isn’t cheap and 10wks disputing a 2k bedroom suite takes its toll on you trust me. this camera would have resolved this in 10mins. Never had to use the camera for that purpose but it’s a good backup for this sort of problem. Overall good camera for price. No contract or subscription required. The app required isn’t the best but it’s easy to use and essentially does what it’s meant to do plus you can use the app when out shopping or at work which usually requires some sort of monthly subscription with a lot of these items

It feels like years I have been trying out cheap IP cameras compatibility with various NVR’s & software, with only the brand leaders Axis & Hikvision having the gear that works for a price.

This camera was approached with doubt as the majority have problems with onvif compatibility, or have to manually find the rtsp string or only have one channel. This is the first sub 40GBP camera that I have had working with various NVR’s & most importantly, synology surveillance station – by far the best NVR software due to reliability & user friendliness but isn’t compatible fully with unbranded cameras.

This works perfectly, even the audio recording & audio output. Both streams appear, the OSD can be turned off, it understands UK time, and the chinglish instructions are readable, but not perfect and is mainly about the p2p app which I won’t use. p2p can be turned off too thankfully – Rather not share the stream with our chinese voyeurs. WiFi reception good although it does demand a decent connection and its a shame that the resolution is set to 1080p – 720p would be better for my needs but I just need to improve the wifi in the area.

The only thing that stops me from buying eight is lack of PoE, but these cameras are good enough to warrant a PoE to 12v converter if getting power to the location is difficult.

Overall, the best budget camera on amazon.

Think this is a great camera. Both day and night great images. The sensitivity of motion detection is incredible. I actually have mine on 5(out of 100) and it still picks people up 30m+ away. Keeps good wifi connections. Night vison is great. Camera body is sleek and smart. I’ve actually ordered 2 now. I run my cable through a window (but I would advise putting electrical tape around the wire to protect it through the window) very easy to set up and install. Takes less then 5 min. App is easy to use with plenty of options to play with. Would definitely recommend.

For the price, I’m not disappointed. Picture quality is good as is the night vision. Motion detection is a bit too sensitive even at “low sensitivity” for my purposes.
I bought this camera to monitor my chook hut overnight, to see if and when basil brush appeared. However the IR LEDs attract to many flying insects which give false alarms. I suspect most/all cameras/software will struggle with this so I’m going to blank off or deactivate the IR LEDs and use an IR flood light located away from the camera so that the bugs hopefully wont trigger the alarm.
Setup was relatively painless although the instructions are a bit lacking in places.
I’m now running it, along with an automatic coop door, off a car battery with a 12V stabiliser, charged by an AA 4.8W solar battery charger.
All in all, I’m pretty pleased with what I got for what I paid.

Easy to set up – App on iPhone works well – have downloaded PC Client too. Still working things through but camera is very good. Have set up with wi-fi (and so far ok) but considering ‘hard connection’ with long ethernet cable as understand this might be best.

Very clear and perfect camera! Can clearly seen number plates and wide view. Camera is currently by the window. Will place it soon in our patio. Night vision is very good. Picture quality is excellent as seen on the picture I provided. Giving us peace of mind seeing what is outside in our phones while we are not in the house. Highly recommended.

Just got this beauty delivered and what can I say its amazing!!! I’ve already got some blink camreas but this one is by the best!! Would be even better if it was wireless and didn’t have to connect to mains as I wanted it for the bottom of my garden down a ally but it sure has other uses and will definitely be buying more to go around my house!!! My children find the dog bark funny and the noise it makes when rebooting but I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!!! A must buy!!!!

But make sure you have a micro SD card as it won’t save nothing.

    The camera is quite good.
The only downsides to this are the time on the app won’t stay to the correct time so it’s really difficult to check back on the videos.
The other down side to this is that it’s not easy to set up. It came with a thick cable at the back of the camera with the power connector, Internet connector & the reset button. Was very difficult to put up. Had to buy a junction box to put next to the camera so the cables wouldn’t get wet!
Good camera though after all the messing about.

Easy to use and install, working well.

Simply to fix to a wall, and easy to connect to the wifi. App is straight forward, acts as good deterrent and a reasonable price. Power lead could be longer, but I use it with an extension cable.

This is a good affordable WiFi security camera with great night vision for peace of mind. The app is really easy to use and convenient if you have multiple cameras. It is easy to capture images and videos on the app and save these to your phone. The only issue I have with the app is that on my android phone is that it doesn’t connect to my camera unless I restart the app.

The talking feature on the app is quite useful, although it would be better if you could listen and talk at the same time.

What isn’t great about the camera is that the motion detection alerts. If you live in a windy area the movement of trees and plants triggers alarms and notifications. Moths flying around at night triggers this off too. I have played around with the settings quite a bit, but haven’t managed to get the alerts to work effectively meaning you could miss something important.

I bought this camera to replace another one (different make) which has always been a bit difficult to connect. This iGeek model was very simple to install, following the clear instructions. You set it up with it plugged-in to your router at first, and then you can use it wirelessly. It comes with a very long power cable which makes it easy to mount outdoors and have the power cable coming through the wall to the inside.

The picture quality is excellent – it can be switched via the app to be either SD or HD. It has a built-in microphone and speaker so you can have a conversation with someone at the door, using your phone.

In low light, the infra red LEDs help to produce a very clear black and white image.

You can zoom the picture in and out using the controls on the app. You can take snap-shots or video using the app, and you can get the camera to record automatically onto a micro-SD card (not included).

Basically this camera does everything you would hope for and I’m glad I bought it – it’s so much more reliable and easier to use than my old one. And it looks better! In fact I’ll be purchasing another one soon. If my experience is anything to go by you would not regret buying this camera.

Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with it!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a great camera but it almost went in the bin!

I didn’t realise that you have to set this up with the network cable BEFORE it will connect to your wifi, you can’t set it up with wifi alone!

So don’t do what I did, which was install it on my wall and feed all the cables through before the initial setup.

Once it is set up though, the camera is great, and the suggested app for operation is pretty decent too. My only gripe (and the reason for 4 stars not 5) is the bunch of connection cables attached to the camera are too big, so you have to drill an oversized hole through your wall to install. To me, it would have made more sense to have a socket on the camera so that these could have been detached and fed through the hole from the other side reducing the size of hole needed.

What a great item for the price. Bought this for my Dad’s garden so he can watch the hedgehogs at night. Yes I know, not quite what it is for but he is 83 and wanted to watch them feeding. Yes, 83, and he can work it. The app you have to download is easy to use and you can stroll through the recordings easliy by sliding along the timeline with your finger. It is possible to take snapshots from the video as well.
The picture quality is very good. In daylight it’s as good as you can get and the night vision is very clear. In black and white of course.
The sensitivity can be adjusted along with sound and colour. Alarms can be turned on so you get an alarm on your phone when the motion detection is activated. Anyone can log into the camera via the app if you have all the details and passwords, so my brothers have logged in for when Dad sees lots of hedgehog activity and wants to show us. Like a fox eating all the food at 3am. The app can take 4 cameras so really good for full round house surveillance that you can watch from anywhere. It is also possible to speak to someone through the camera as the camera has a very good mic and speaker. The camera has to be in range of your WIFI but it has 2 aerials that pick up WIFI very well as my Dad’s camera is connected to the power in the shed and works all the time.
I’ll be buying a few more to set up round my house.

The camera is far superior to my last one and works extremely well now.

I had numerous atempts to get it working wirelessly but just wouldnt connect.
Had to buy some ethernet cable and sockets which then connected up easily on my network
The power pack has only 3 metres, so again I had to get an extension cable.

Purchased this as a gift for my son who is obsessed with gadgets. For the price it’s well worth the money.

Make sure you connect the camera via the supplied RJ45 network cable and then connect to WiFi, trying to set it up via WiFi wouldn’t work for me and as there is no visual indication that the camera is working it was bit of a faff.

    Overall perfect for the money.

I bought this camera to add to my Blue Iris server setup and to monitor our front garden/door.

There’s no HTTP management of the camera, as far as I can see but the camera is easy to configure using the CamHi software.

The picture quality is great and my Blue Iris server automatically detected the camera model and ONVIF details – so no trouble there.

Physically, the camera is easy to mount and comes with a generous length of cable from the PSU to the power connector attached to the camera. There is also an Ethernet adaptor and reset switch attached to the camera via cable extension ports.

I’ve got this camera happily setup and in use. Great piece of kit for the price!

Easy to setup and use with Blue Iris

Very poor image quality this is not 1080p. Night vision is ruined by any sources of light.

Works as it should but you get what you pay for. I use this camera on a free application called agent the live view looks terrible and I’m unable to identify faces from a few meters away. Object detection is ok on the camera itself however I’m using a AI server to detect object to filter false captures.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI used this to replace an aging camera. It’s quite small and light compared to the ancient one.
I use it to FTP video to a Raspberry Pi server on the same network so no traffic over the internet. I also have it hardwired rather than WiFi so I can’t comment about the quality of the WiFi.
It doesn’t have all the features I would have liked but it has most. Here are some observations

To record and send alarm video to an FTP server it must have an SD card installed.
It will only FTP alarm videos. If you have it on permanent record the files are stored on the internal SD card.
It records on a .264 format and there a few programs that will play them. Windows Media Player will but only if sound recording is disabled.
It has four configurable windows for motion detection. Useful.
It has four configurable windows for blank recording areas so you can avoid recording your neighbours.
The configuration S/W is OK but needs old Internet Explorer to run correctly
The night vision is good but care needs to be taken when positioning to avoid flare on the video caused by IR reflection. It is also sensitive to insects flying by at night.
It has configurable schedules for recording and alarms.

All in all, a good bit of kit for the money

Took me a little navigating to get it set up, on my mobile phone and connected but I think you just need to focus on the manual and re-read what it is asking you to do, no skipping ahead!!

I’m not particularly technical but I was able to figure it out so not that bad. Fitting was easy, and I currently have it only on wifi but have ordered a long ethernet cable as wifi is not always reliable.

Slight glitch in that the time on the video keeps defaulting to the wrong time even though I set it to be that of the mobile phone.

I’ll be adding in the memory card to see if I can start to record videos which will be the aim of the product

The video is really clear and a good picture at night also.

I think this is good value for money

Easy to set up, we’ve just purchased our 2nd camera which actually is an updated version of the first one we bought last year. (Back is the new one, front is the older version camera from last year) can’t praise these enough, although the new one has a slightly better picture quality I’m so happy with both cameras. Makes me feel at ease to leave my house unattended or just perfect to notify you of some movement going on outside. We even caught a car crash outside our house and gave the victim video evidence the driver was on his phone! We were able to do this with the help of an SD card which we bought separately and we will be getting a 2nd SD card for our 2nd camera. Another bonus with this cctv camera set up is its budget friendly and you don’t need to pay a monthly subscription like other well known devices. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these iegeek cameras to anyone! The best purchase I’ve ever made from Amazon!!

This is the second iegeek IP camera I have in use. Easy to set up and a brilliant picture. The Camhipro software app is excellent – better than Cloudedge in my opinion. Night vision is good but you do have to keep the cobwebs away.
My first camera did not have the 4dbi wifi receptors and was on the edge of reception so I connected it with a network cable and it has been totally reliable ever since. I’m hoping this one will be OK on wifi – so far so good.
Recently bought a Blink but sent it back as it was faulty – I was unable to install the sync hub.

This is my second iegeek IP cam, the 1st one purchased in 2018 has worked seemingless. When a second one was required I had no problems purchasing another iegeek camera.
Installation straight forward, if you are connecting via wi-fi only needing a power supply to suit the 3M cable length.
I set the camera up before installing using a wired connection (Ethernet cable), then switched over to wi-fi without any problems and then installed the camera. The sd card is now fitted via a cover on the underside of the camera on older models you had to take the unit apart to get to the sd card slot.
Motion detection can be a bit sensitive requiring fine tuning to stop false alarms.
The CamHi android app is easy to use, with the new camera I changed over to the CamHipro version with a few extra settings. The window PC software HiP2P interface is okay but not used often, preferring the phone app.
    Excellent value for the money.

Everyone should own one of these as a minimum for the price & piece of mind it gives you it’s silly not to.
I havnt installed it properly how I want it as I gotta get a set of ladders but I have it rigged up on the window seal overlooking my driveway & so far so good.
I installed the app & swiftly moved on to the pro version & have it on multiple devices including my iPad and having a 9.7 inch full screen monitoring & recording is cool & am thinking of purchasing another cam for the rear of my property. I thought it was gonna be tricky to set up but it was so easy I hardly used the manual but will for more advanced setting configuration.
So despite the incentive to leave a review I wanted to anyway as I soon moan if something is crap & this isn’t in my opinion, worth every penny

Used to monitor front of property, connected via Ethernet easily enough. App monitoring and sd recording works great. Get the 128gb card for two weeks rolling recording. Lost one star because of how the power/connection leads need a massive hole drilled to poke the three wires through, should have a connector really.

I installed this camera a few months ago, and now feel able to write an accurate review.

In short, its been reliable and has done exactly what i wanted. I installed a 128gb SD card, and have it sent to motion detection only. The camera is above a high traffic area, and fills up every couple of weeks. Automatically overwrites.

The only negative is that it is constantly when it rains at night – no matter how low you have the sensitivity. Do consider this when getting a memory card – bigger will be better.

Installation was easy, and much easier than the other model of ieGeek camera that I have got.

Overall, happy to recommend with 5 stars.

I ordered two of these which arrived today. Very good value for money. The setup was pretty straightforward and the pictures are sharp. The power cord is about 3m long so I’ve ordered a couple of extensions (arriving tomorrow!) so I can do a proper neat installation. I’ve used the CamHiPro app on my iPhone and my wife’s too.

The internet connection seems pretty solid – we have a TP Deco mesh system connected to a BT Router.

I’ve put 128GB cards in each camera and they seem to be recording fine.

I haven’t yet seen any night images and haven’t bothered with movement detection settings.

This camera was to keep an eye on the car and the property. My son usually sets these things up but could not get round soon enough; I needed to ‘bite the bullet’ and do it myself.

I needn’t have worried. Just connect it by cable to the router, find it through the CamHi app and you’re in. Then disconnect the cable, put in the wifi password and it’s done. When you unplug it, fix it where you want it and plug in again, it’s up and running.

This is a great camera. It is nice quality and provides great image quality including the night vision. Can record to an SD card located in the camera or FTP the recordings to a local PC drive or network storage or both. Easy to set up and lots of features. You can access the camera feed via an apple or android app and change the camera settings in the app or some P2P Client software to set up the camera on a PC.
Now the ‘but’…. You can access the camera setting by visiting the camera IP address and supposed to see the live image so you can adjust the image settings. However, the firmware inside the camera is dated and requires flash player. The trouble is Flash player is no longer available and not supported. So you cannot view the image in any way in any up to date browser. This means you HAVE to use the smart phone app or the PC client software to see the image.
That being said, it’s not a deal breaker and the camera can still be used with the app and pc client software without issue and all the camera’s features can still be used.
Knowing this, would I buy on again? Yes I would, It remains a great value camera.

Value for money product. Good picture quality. Relatively easy to install although the 3 pronged cable teased my brain a little in knowing where to put the other 2 apart from the low voltage power cable. Then I discovered that the RJ45 port fits snuggly into the middle of the fixing bracket if it isn’t used as in wireless mode. The other wire is a water tight reset button which I decided to leave dangling. The power cable then is the only cable that needs to go through a drilled hole in the wall as its a narrow connector. Good day and night vision.

Having had thieves tamper with our car, we wanted an easy to use outdoor camera to keep an eye on the driveway, especially at night. This fits the bill perfectly. We can set the times we want it to monitor, and alerts are sent to our phones via the CamHiPro app.
The picture is bright and clear, and the camera slips seamlessly to InfraRed when the light fades.
My one small criticism is that the instructions come in a very small booklet, which is difficult to read and sometimes difficult to follow for the less technically minded. I think we’ve cracked it now, but it isn’t entirely straightforward. Perhaps future production runs could look at this? Having said that, there IS access to a help desk for when you are really struggling, which is reassuring.

Bought a different ieGEEK model before this with only 1 antenna and it works well. As this one is going to be further from the router, I thought the 2 antennae would be more useful – I was right. This one works as well as the other one. Oh, the power cable is about 3m long (which is longer than the other model by about a metre), so I bought a 5m male/female power extension cable (3.30 on Amazon) that fits into the power connection bit on the included cable and plugs into the camera power connector and now I have 8m power lead – which is more than enough. This works better than a regular extension lead because the connectors on the power extension cable I bought are smaller and easier to house inside a “Waterproof Junction Box Outdoor Cable Connector IP68 Connector External Sleeve Coupler SOMELINE 4mm-8mm” (Pack of 4 costs 8.96 on Amazon).

Looking at the cost, this camera gives all the functions like 24 H surveillance, recording facility, 2 way talk etc. with minimum hassles to connect. This is truly a simple DIY set up that can be done by even an 8 year old kid.

I bought this to view down the side of my bungalow where I had previously had an attempted break-in.
It was to replace a previous camera from a competitor which would not give me a visual away from home.
The IG20 build quality was noticeable straight away, it was easy to set up & connect to the CamHipro app on my phone with a very clear picture in colour in the daylight & good black & white at night.
I also wanted to be able to view on my PC using the HP2P client app which initially I had a password error, but after contacting Iegeek service I had a next day reply with a link to an updated App specifically for the IG20 which connected straight away.
I would highly recommend this camera & the after-sales service.

Quality item & easy to set up.

Intuitive set up but manual could do with some improvement as translation not that great. Good quality item and working within a few minutes. Connector cable may require a slightly bigger hole than expected, if mounting through a wall, but easy enough to hide beneath camera base. Good clear picture. 2way audio works nicely and menus allow for customising all sorts of settings.

The video quality of this camera is impressive. The video image is sharp with a high resolution and vibrant colours. Equally impressive is the infra-red function, which automatically activates in low light or darkness. Look at my photos to see the difference between a day and night shot.

Setup was relatively easy. I had to do a little drilling to attach the camera to my house and also feed the cables through the wall. Nothing to difficult. Then I downloaded the free app for my mobile to link the camera to my broadband service.

There is an option for me to insert an SD memory card into the camera, which I can then use to store video and photos or I can simply view and store footage to my mobile using the app.

I’m very happy with my purchase and completely satisfied. This outdoor security camera looks good and works great. It has exceeded my expectations, particularly at this price and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

I bought 2 of these cameras, one covering the carport and side of the house and the other for the back garden and garage and I am really impressed with the video and pictue quality both in day and night mode. The cameras were easy to set up and the wifi has a decent range, the motion detection is very sensitive but you can set the detection range in the app. It took a few days of experimenting to set up the app to suit my own needs but once done both cameras are both working great. The set up option provided in the app covers most needs, I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting a low cost but quality security camera.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersBought this as a replacement for another IeGeek camera that for some reason stopped working after 3 years of faultless operation, it lost WiFi connection and despite numerous attempts including Ethernet to reconnect no success.
This camera was on an Amazon lightning deal with 10 off and was too good to miss.
Once out of the box the camera is noticeably more compact than previous version and blends nicely on the wall due to its colour, unlike other white versions which do tend to stand out more.
Mounting plate was easy to fit as it uses the same footprint as the previous camera, Tip: unscrew and remove camera mounting bracket from the mounting plate for easier installation.
WiFi set up was a breeze as usual with the CamHi Pro app. Tip: remove QR code sticker from camera body and keep with instruction manual for easier reconnection should you need it at a future date.
Picture quality day and night is excellent, the discrete IR lights give a along distance view in complete darkness and are barely noticeable.
The customisable motion detection zone works well.
I have not had a chance to test the 2 way audio quality yet so cannot comment yet.
All in all this is a very commendable camera and I would, without hesitation, recommend it. (Especially if you can get it on a lightning deal!)

Bought camera for our garage, which is only connected to WiFi via a electric line range extender, so was apprehensive about it actually connecting to the WiFi. However, it seems to have connected without issue, and is happily recoding our drive hour after hour.
Motion detection took a little bit to master – found that changing the camera to HD made it much better at being oversensitive.
Picture quality is great considering the price of the unit. Sound is ok, bit clunky if you want to hold a full blown conversation, but then it is a security camera not a doorbell.
Overall great camera, and good value product – I’ll be ordering another one now I’ve got this one working

    These are great IP cameras.
I bought two one for the driveway and one for the back garden.

The one in the back garden is set up on the shed and there is no issue with connectivity to the router which is 20 meters away on the first floor landing in the house. This is probably helped by the twin antennas.

SD card for recording can be inserted via a weatherproof cap . I had no difficulty setting up on CamHI using the QR method. Ensure you plug into mains , press reset button on lead and wait until camera resets to default before connecting ethernet cable .Connect directly to the router via the etherrnet lead and when it is paired then connect to WIFi.. For security reasons it is best to change camera pasword when prompted. Set the time to your phones Time Zone .The power cord is approx. two metres long.. Pictures are good and this is a good easily configured and mounted camera for this price . I am happy with my purchase .

    Liked:
    Value for money
Quality of item and well packaged
    Very responsive customer services
    Camera picture quality
Very easy to connect; especially if you have another ie geek camera.

    Suggested improvements; easily remedied:
Fitted waterproof connector to allow single cable to pass external to internal; rather than having to drill hole for all three cables. I used an external waterproof junction box to contain all three cables.
A plug to cover the screwed connector; as top and bottom mounting possible.
    Included micro sd card.
English speaking reviewer to amend the instructions. Unfortunately instructions are not clear; however camera connects to wifi easily.

The camera is very well built and compact.
I have tried a few other brands but this is the best so far and at an excellent price.
The app (I use the pro version) is very good. Setup is very quick and to add to other devices too. My connection kept dropping so unplugged in a wifi extender I had and it works great with HD. Records ok – not sure how long the 64gb memory will last but should be about a week.
Motion detection is sensitive but I reduced it right down now.
I fitted it high on wall. Input wires inside a little junction box and used an extension cable for the charger- the connection of which is also in the junction box. Painted the cable and junction box to blend in with the wall.
Actually didn’t need extension cable as th provided one is 3m! Longer than other cameras I had.
So all on all good so far.

Product arrived within 24 hours. And about an hour later it was up and running. I have two other ieGeek cameras ( earlier versions) which I have had for a couple of years now. They sit at the front and rear of my house quite happily working away with no problems at all. This one is temporarily being used to watch over a blackbird nest that’s just appeared behind my shed. Be aware that the whole camera is quite compact which means that the volume of the consequently small loudspeaker is limited. The microphone seems good though.

Camera is a bit smaller than I was expecting but I guess times have changed since CCTV cameras.

Setup was really simple, just a case of plugging it into your router (ethernet cable supplied). Once it is setup on your network, you can then pair it to your WiFi.

Initially I used the app as detailed in the instructions and this worked fine. I then realised my Synology NAS had built in surveillance software; the camera was detected by the software and i was able to access all the settings as per the original app. The benefit of this was so I could store all the recordings on my NAS.

Picture quality is amazing for the price, and this incudes both daylight and night. Two way audio is also handy. WiFi connectivity is also strong. Movement detection can be triggered quite easily, just by clouds causing shade. You can adjust the sensitivity for this though. For the price, you would be hard pushed to find a camera that used body heat to detect motion.

The only thing that let it down a bit, is that the trailing leads (power, ethernet, reset) from the camera would require a massive hole in order to pass them through the wall. Instead of this, I enclosed the three leads in a junction box, and just ran the power cable through the wall.

In conclusion, this IP camera is well worth the price tag and includes decent features.

    Well worth the money

Very impressed with this for the price. Works well day and night and the picture is clear. The mounting stand is nice and easy to adjust when installed and access to the SD card is also easy.
The CamHi app for the phone works well. Only room for improvement is the set up for motion detection zones. The ability to setup multiple areas or to mask certain areas is needed from the CamHi app. It can be done from the PC client HiP2P only but this is not easy to use. Note that the latest version of HiP2P 6.4.9.4 on the iegeek website did not work with this camera but iegeek technical support responded very quickly to an email (within minutes) and sent me a link to an update to V6.5.1 which worked fine. That is really impressive service. Highly recommended.

I already have three ieGeek cameras (IG82’s) but due to the distant from my router have had issues with one camera keeping its connection.

Have replaced with this camera which has two antennas and the signal has never dropped.

As I already had three camera set up was very easy. If this is your first camera just follow the instructions provided – but if you are struggling there are a number of easy to follow youtube videos available.

Having mounted to the wall the adjustment with this model is much easier than the my other cameras. No more messing around with an allen key you just move about until you get the angle / position you want and then tighten up the mount by hand. This model can also now be mounted from above and below as you can fit the bracket from either side of the camera

Another good point is the easy access to install the SD card which is now simply behind a waterproof seal.

The day time image quality is fantastic and the motion detection works very well.

In terms of night vision this is quite acceptable – only issues is a bit of a ‘Halo effect’ around the edges. Not had this problem with the other ieGeek cameras but it is not a major issue.

In summary its a great little security camera for the price.

It also has 2 way audio which I didn’t realise, and I’m sure will be useful if ever someone needs scaring off! Overall really happy, can’t comment on reliability as it has only been up for a week but I will update the review if it goes wrong.

This camera has just arrived, it was well packed and delivery was quick. My first impression is that it looks a reasonable quality item, as I expected it would. I haven’t powered it up yet so can’t comment on the operation. I have read the manual through a couple of times and three things occur to me. First, the manual has been translated into English and some of it not very well. Secondly, the manual only explains the software and settings of the camera, and has no advice on positioning and mounting it to a wall, and finally the design of the connections are such that a large hole, I would suggest 20mm, is required to feed the power port, the RJ45 port and the reset button through the wall simultaneously as they are all hard wired to the camera. with a little re-design the lead could be removed from the camera allowing them to push through the wall from the inside, only requiring a 6mm hole.

I have several cameras and use agent, this camera uses onvif and the supplied application makes set up very easy. It works well on WiFi, and the night vision is good along with the motion detection, you don’t have to use their app to access it either. The second image is from the camera and the picture quality is really good and for the price really good value for money. The power cable is nice and long as we long my recommendation if using outside is you buy two little waterproof boxes one for the connection to camera, you can see the little grey one in my first photo and then another for the actual adapter.

I have an older version of this camera that has been working for years so I thought I’d add another one.

This is a newer version and it has two antennas to improve wi-fi reception and it also has a far easier way of adding an SD card. A flap opens up and allows easy access.

My first venture into CCTV but with so many dog thefts going on and catalytic converter thefts I decided to invest. I was pleasantly surprised, ordered through Prime and came next day, took a grand total of 5 minutes to setup and begin recording, all works perfectly and a good quality image, the main thing that I wanted was one that did not tie you to cloud storage as that is an extra cost to bear.

One idea to make life easy would be to have the cable that comes out of the camera into the 3 cables detachable so as to feed it into the waterproof box that has a 20mm cutout, but it may not be that easy due to the IP rating of the camera. I have solved that issue by buying a box with a 25mm opening!

Overall I am very pleased with this camera and would highly recommend it in fact I have passed the details onto 2 of my friends!

I placed my order for new camera and received it the following day. What I like about the new IeGeek camera is that it is compact, unobtrusive and gives you peace of mind that your house, car, garage etc is monitored by CCTV. The camera has motion detection and sends me alert when motion is detected. Pics, vids are stored on file or SD card if installed. Image quality is good day and night its waterproof and easy to install. The best thing about this camera is that you can monitor your home via your smart phone at any time from any where. This is a great little security camera for the money can highly recommend. A++

This is my 3rd iegeek Camera. I have one in the front (battery operated), one inside to keep an eye on the dog and this one at the back.

Set up is straight forward. You initially connect it to your router via ethernet (supplied) and then it allows you to set up on WiFi.

With this being a plug in camera, the unit doesn’t need to wake up to record and send you a notification, it’s pretty instant.

Motion sensor is amazingly sensitive, you can adjust this however I generally don’t use the motion sensor as I have the camera set to planned recording times.

Live view as on all of these iegeek cameras is great, you can check in at any time provided that there is an sd card installed.

Image and sound quality is good and you can set the unit to emit a short alarm when it detects motion which is pretty nifty.

There are 3 large connections about 30cm from the camera, it would have been handy if these were positioned towards the plug but an easy way around that (instead of drilling a big hole in the wall to slot them through) is to use a junction box as I have. Very cheap from any DIY store.

All in, this is another good unit from these guys and with it being my 3rd, I’ll be using them again!

The customer services are first class. Contact them by email and generally within 24 hours you have a reply.

Picture quality seems pretty good and we set it to constantly record rather than give us notifications. You’ll want to buy a micro sd card but you can access the footage from the app so don’t gave to faff taking the card in and out. This is a very compact IP camera. However, don’t let its diminutive size put you off, this is a serious bit of kit and at a very competitive price.

I found the camera very easy to connect to both wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi and quick to connect to both of the phone apps suggested.

The camera can also connect to a dedicated app running on a PC which, like the phone app, can provide access and control to multiple cameras if required. Local playback, downloaded images & video and remote playback from the camera’s SD card are all available together with configuration information and administration.

The image quality is excellent offering a live view at any time and extensive options to record video and still images to local and remote storage. Both day and night images are clear and offer great security. In addition to an inbuilt SD card, alerts and images or video can be emailed directly to an email address and the app can be configured to send an alert to your phone based on a variety of customer configured options.

If there is a possibility that someone carrying out criminal activity may attempt to steal or damage the camera itself in order to try to prevent detection or identification, images and video can also be sent to a remote server or Network Attached Storage (via ftp) live as they occur to provide a backup log of events.

The camera seems to be able to perform perfectly well even with a relatively Wi-Fi signal

Unlike some other models, access to the SD card is very straightforward and does not require any tools or the opening of the camera. The mounting bracket will require screwing to a suitable surface but no tools are required to attach the camera therefore mounting out of easy reach would be advisable.

The camera can easily be mounted from a surface at any angle and even hung below the mounting if required as there is a standard tripod mount on both the top and bottom of the camera.

I have also noted that the camera gets very slightly warm during use. I’m not sure if this is by design but I can only think that it will help prevent the lens from misting during cold weather.

All in all a great aid to security both as a visual deterrent and as a means of securing evidence if needed.

    Great value camera

I installed six of these cameras (various models) to replace an old standard definition CCTV system. They are extremely good value for money. Easy to install and get working straight away. The additional functionality regarding alarm recording and FTP settings take some trial and error intially with the first camera. It’s then easy to duplicate settings for the others. The android app is easy to use and is stable.

I took a chance buying this camera as opposed to the more expensive TP-Link model. Mounting it was very easy but you do need some conduit etc to tidy up the wiring but that’s not a massive problem. I’ve had this running now for a month and it’s brilliant. The picture in the day is very good for a camera in this price range. The night vision is pretty good although in the distance the picture is a little blurry but this isn’t a massive problem because if someone enters my land they become close enough to get a good shot.
I bought a 128GB memory card to go with this although I also have it connected to a PC via the iSpy application.
I found set up easy but I’ve set up cameras a few times before so am familiar with it.
    The wireless connectivity is flawless.
Another great feature is if you are out and about you can still view and get alerts from the camera via the app which is also simple to set up.
To be honest this stamps all over certain subscription based doorbells which in my opinion are a rip off. It’s very easy to view and download footage via the CamHi app and also to connect and view footage via a PC with only the initial cost of the camera and memory card.
It does take some work fitting and setting up but it isn’t too difficult.
All in all a great camera for the price and I suspect robust as we have had torrential downpours since I fitted it and no problems at all.

Quite a dinky camera, and doesn’t feel as robust as the other ieGeek cameras I own, which is reflected in the price. In saying that however, I cannot fault the picture quality. It is 100% clear and night vision is excellent.
There is a slot available if you wish to use an SD card (not included)
The CamHI app is super easy to use. The camera only took seconds to set up. You have the option to keep the camera connected via ethernet cable or WiFi. Notifications are immediate.
ieGeek customer services are a pleasure to deal with and always quick to answer any queries.

This camera is largely made of plastic which made it much lighter than other models of ieGeek security cameras on the market.
The size of the camera was mentioned in the instruction. The sizes of connection posts are not: 1. the Power Portt is 10.79mm, the Internet RJ45 Port is 19.95mm and the Reset Port is 14.38mm. This may be helpful if you need to drill a hole through a wall.
This camera can be mounted from the top or the bottom as it provided two mounting nuts embedded in the camera body. This is helpful is you want to mount it to ceiling. With the swing design, it can be positioned to any direction. All the screws and plugs are come with the camera which made the installation straight forward.
The APP of CamHiPro had been already installed on my mobile devise as this is not my first ieGeek camera. This camera is very easy to set up, literally it took no time with the QR Code option. Within the APP, you can adjust the time zone, detection zone, alarm sensitivity, recoding length, audible alarm, alarm push, and many more. The best thing is that the 24/7 recording capability on a local SD card, no need to pay for subscription fee. It works fine with a white 128GB SD card.
The WiFi connection is very fast, it comes up in 1-2 seconds. There is no difference between two tow options Internet and WiFi connections when I compared it with another ieGeek camera in parallel. The distance between the WiFi hub and camera is about 3 meters with two walls including a outside wall in between.
The camera is a wide angle one, it is about 0.7. The quality of the 2MP camera is very good both in the day and at night. The picture/video is black and white in the evening and night. The alarm response time is within 2 seconds, and sound lasts 14 seconds, recording length is 14 seconds as well.
I paid 35.99 for the camera as there was a 10% voucher on offer. I am happy with the purchase for a camera under 40.

A great and affordable security camera!

picture quality is full HD and looks good in the day as it is at night.
The dual 4db antenna have increased signal compared to the previous cameras i have tested.
i decided to use this one to monitor the front door to see visitors /postman etc. the built in 2 way intercom lets me communicate to visitors even when i,m not home. the non stop recording to micro sd card is available at any time to load up in the CamHiPro app and motion detection will be sent to your phone as a notification, the detected area can be manually set and sensitivity adjusted in the app.
Pairing was really easy when connecting it firstly to the router with an Ethernet cable, this only took about 2 mins.
i just wish someone could design a camera where spiders don’t build their webs in front of the lens !!

I’m very happy with my purchase and defiantly good value for money , i would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a decent low priced camera.

I’m genuinely impressed with this. Be aware that you will need to drill quite a large hole to get all the cables through or use a junction box as there is a cable from the camera which splits into three heads at the end for power, Ethernet cable and reset button. That said, we just drilled a bigger hole.

Set up very easy. The supplied instructions are a bit convoluted, so I just charged on and had a go, and it was very intuitive and worked straight away via my phone. WiFi connection seems stable and works well.

Bought a Samsung SD 128 card to go with it which is merrily recording away, and review function works well.

Image is very clear and a good wide angle captures a large space.

    No subscription required.

I bought this as I have another ieGeek camera that I love.

I like that this camera is compact, and it was easy to fit. The app isn’t great though, with limited features. I can’t figure out how to delete the millions of alarm recordings it has stored…. Seriously… Must be millions in just two days. I turned off planned recordings because the alarm recordings were going off every few minutes. All day and all night! I’ve had to turn the notifications off, which defeats the object of having the camera. Upon checking several recordings, there is literally nothing to see. I’ve changed the sensitivity to 5 out of 100 and it hadn’t changed anything. I’m at a loss. Having said this, the picture is clear both night and day. The CamHipro app is a bit basic.

UPDATE: Customer services contacted me and mentioned the camera doesn’t have human detection in, which is why it records a lot. I feel like that should be included in the description so its clear that this particular camera is better suited to constant record, rather than motion detection. Their customer service was excellent and they offered me a full refund. Can’t fault the service and the camera is good… Just not what I wanted it for.

I would recommend the ieGeek wireless camera if you’re looking for excellent human motion detection. The app CloudEdge is better too.

The system was very straightforward to link up to my phone and laptop and installation with the supplied kit was easy.

I was worried that the thickness of my old brick walls and the distance the cameras were positioned from my router would be a problem. However I was very surprised with wifi antenna reception on these camera’s and have found that I have no problem even with one camera being 40 feet and two brick walls away from the router.

Picture quality is good both in day and night mode and the ability for the camera to send my phone a picture or video when the motion detector is set off is awesome.

I have fitted my cameras with 128GB memory card (cheap one from amazon) and it will keep recording for approximately 2 weeks before overwriting.

The microphones inbuilt in the camera are clear enough to pick up birdsong let alone human speech and the ability to talk to whoever is by the camera ( like a ring doorbell) is very handy.

My only complaints about these cameras is that the sensitivity of the motion detector is a little overzealous and they could do with being supplied with a longer power cable.

In my opinion these are great security cameras at a very cheap price and would recomend them for those looking for a simple home security system.

    Surprisingly good bit of kit.

This small compact camera is great, I installed it just under the eaves to protect it from the elements. The picture quality is very good as is night vision quality. I installed a micro sd card did a recording and play back was amazing.

Once you have set the camera upto the WiFi you are ready to go. However u had a few teething problems getting set up to WiFi. The camera didn’t like being unplugged from the Internet cable and put into position. In the end I used an extra long cable and set the WiFi up in position.

It may have been down to user error but I got there in the end and I am very impressed. I am going to order another one for the rear of the house.

I looked at other reviews slating off lack of instructions and difficulty in setting up, I had none of that, I didn’t even read the instructions except for the critical password info and internet software download links.

First of all, download CamHipro app to your wifi connected phone through Google Play store, then connect camera to router via ethernet cable, load app, the app picks up the camera, ensure you have video signal from camera showing in the app, then add wifi internet domain and password in the settings, disconnect your ethernet cable and position camera to your desired location within decent wifi signal of your router or wifi extender/booster.

If you want to manage it on PC, then download “HiP2P Client_Setup_H265_v6.4.9.4”, it is a RAR file so you will need WinRAR on your PC, extract it in WinRAR and install, set it up same way as in the CamHipro app.

I wanted to keep an eye on my boat and classic car while out. As I am delighted with the two ieGeek security cams inside the house, thought I would order their outdoor model. It arrived the next day!
Although the manual was not the easiest to understand (I am not very tech minded), the cam and app were fairly simple to set up. Hooking up to the Wi-Fi was easy and “Action!”
There are limits to where I could fit it because of work being done on the house from scaffolding, but I found a spot that covers the area required and am pleased with the definition. I have attached a short video clip from it to show the image quality. Closer to the subject matter would be better for seeing facial detail etc, so once the scaffolding is down in a month or so, I will reposition the camera on the wall quoins that you see at the left of the picture.
Overall, I am delighted with the security camera.

I bought this camera replace another camera on my garage which is about 15 metres away from my home as it was forever losing Wi-Fi connection. The ieGeek camera is excellent, with a brilliant strong stable connection and great picture quality. Some great features in the CamHipro app that work well with this camera as well. Highly recommended, and also much cheaper than the camera that it replaced.

I NEEDED TO GET AN IPCam TO VIEW THE WILD LIFE THAT VISITS MY GARDEN POND, WHEN THE IPCAM BOX ARRIVED, I WAS PLEASED TO SEE ALL THE PARTS REQUIRED TO INSTALL THE PRODUCT WAS INSIDE THE BOX AND FULL CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS WERE INCLUDED AS WELL.
THE IPCAM COULD BE FITTED TO THE BASE EITHER ONTOP OR BELOW, WHICH MADE IT PERFECT FOR A WALL FITTING, OR IN MY CASE A BASE FITTING.
THE SETUP WAS FAIRLY EASY AND THE CONNECTION TO MY WIFI WAS DONE IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES, USING THE SUPPLIED CABLE .
THE PICTURES AND CONNECTION ON WIFI WORKED A TREAT,EVEN THOUGH THE DISTANCE FROM MY ROUTER TO MY POND IN THE GARDEN WAS BETWEEN 15 AND 20 METRES AWAY.
EVEN THE HD WORKED FINE AND WITH SOUND AS WELL.
I CAN DEFINITELY RECOMEND THIS IPCAM FOR EASE OF USE, CLARITY OF PICTURE AND ALLROUND USE.
AND A GOOD PRICE TO BOOT.

Great outdoor IPCam easy to install and at a great price.

I bought my first cameras from ieGeek a year ago and was very pleased with them, and with the doorbell that I also bought. This, which I bought for my mother’s house, is probably my favourite out of all my ieGeek cameras. The installation was simple and quick. On my home I use ethernet to connect my cameras, but in this case I decided to use the wifi connection process and it was brilliant. Within 3 minutes of setting up the camera I was able to view the stream on almost every device that needed to. It is an IP camera so you can view the rtsp stream on almost every network device.
The camera quality is very good, with a nice option to have the mounting bracket above or below the camera plus almost any angle. I haven’t had this installed very long, but judging by the cameras i have been using, weather should not be an issue! Picture wise, it is superb in daylight and almost as good using the night vision. I’m happy and my Mum feels more secure in her house. Well done ieGeek!

    Another winner from ieGeek.

This camera is excellent value for money I own 2 older models which are good but this has advantages of a 3m power cable better picture quality and a stronger WiFi signal which means you have more flexibility of where you can put it. ITS SO EASY TO SET UP! The app Is simple to use and once a memory card is installed it will record everything and loop over the top after a week or 2 when it reaches full capacity. Its also smaller and aesthetically better so doesn’t stand out too much or look ugly on your house/garage the app gives you loads of functions like zoom pan add sound set off alarm or use the mic to speak. Great product will continue to keep buying and upgrading with igeek

    So EASY TO SET UP!

This is my second ieGeek camera (the first being an indoor pan-tilt-zoom version) so I knew the company and the quality of their product.

This camera doesn’t disappoint. It’s super light and easy to install, with weatherproof connectors and a long 3-metre power lead. Mine’s fixed to my bedroom windowsill, so very easy to access if I need to.

ieGeek make a big thing about the dual antenna WiFi … and quite right, it’s excellent. My router is downstairs at the front of the house – and as you can see from the photos the camera is upstairs at the back. No problem at all loading the app, streaming video, zooming, etc – please see the video attached.

If anything the network setup is far easier with this outdoor camera than my indoor one! Very quick, simple, up and running in two minutes.

Considering the price, it’s a bargain. In fact, I’m already tempted to upgrade and get the outdoor pan-tilt-zoom version!

Fantastic value outdoor IP camera, great WiFi performance

I have a couple of these cameras and they work well. You need to connect your phone to the camera hot-spot and then configure it to your network. It took me a couple of tries but I end connected fine reset button is as per manual on the lead. Leads need to be left ou or you need a bigger hole. Picture quality is good and it picks up on movement.

    Good little camera

I have had an IP camera from ieGeek before and whilst it was good it app wasn’t great. The app that comes with this is much better. The instructions that come with the camera aren’t the best but once you have the app downloaded it does become very easy to set up.
The only thing I’d like to see is automatic saving of events. I’m not sure if I’ve missed something but I can’t see a setting to save motion triggered events. It can ping you and it records all day but a log of events would be useful.

Im a long time user of ieGeek cameras, currently using 6 at work, all remarkable value for money, and pretty reliable.
I was invited to test and review this model, of course i thought id give it a go.
initially very pleased with the camera, much improved mounting bracket from the 1080p model i have a few of, standard cable bundle that comes out of the camera with approx 30cm of length as advertised.
Once installed, camera was easily configured as usual with the built in wifi.
Image quality is great in the daytime, really crisp and detailed, night vision is a let down, it seems as though the physical design of the camera is causing reflections of the infrared leaving a poor image in dark conditions. (see pic)
Wifi range seems to be great, picking up various access points i have outside up to approximately 30m away! how useful the actual connection would be i dont know, camera is connected to nearest access point. (approx 10m)

The biggest let down of this camera is reliability, have had it installed for over a week now and it just doesnt seem to be stable enough to rely on for me. it seems to drop in and out at any given moment, sometimes lasting seconds other times hours but when it comes back online is anyone’s guess. I use the CamHi app for these cameras when not at a computer which is usually enough to pick up and see whats going on but unfortunately with this camera its just not connecting in time for me to be able to see whats going on before its too late. all my other cameras conect in a matter of seconds but with this one its a gamble. I also find the same when viewing it on 3rd party programs using ONVIF.

Overall, this could be a really great camera! aside from a few niggles and bugs that can hopefully be overcome in time, i do like where the manufacturer is going with this product. For now its 4/5 stars.

Great on paper, reliability slightly lacking

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersI’ve got a few of the iGeek cameras dotted over the place with this one being one of the lower priced models.

I was particularly interested in this one due to the enhanced WiFi stability as this one is installed at the farthest point from any WiFi access point. The others struggled, but this one did good, nice strong signal meaning I can watch real-time on the Security Monitor without picture break up or lag.

In the box you have (almost) everything you need, you just need an SD card which slots into a easy to access slot on the underside of the camera but is actually optional if you connect it to a PC with appropriate camera monitoring/recording software (the setup process below actually links you to this to install on your PC).

The setup is really simple. First you have to hard connect to your access point using the ethernet cable which then allows you to configure the WiFi of the camera (the camera has built in web pages to do that) and once that’s done, you then simply fix it where you need it. Finally you connect it to your chosen monitoring platform, be that PC, Apple or Android device (various generic IP Camera apps are available). Previous models of camera I have had the cables coming out of the mounting bracket which made them hard to mount, but this one has the cables coming out the bottom, with the mounting bracket on top.

All the “holes” in the camera for the various cables, SD card, mounting bracket etc all have good rubber seals which means the camera is well protected for bad weather..

Night vision is really good for a camera at this price, its good enough to pick out vehicle registration numbers (the closer the better) that some more expensive cameras struggle to do in clear daylight. It even picks up snow flakes as it was snowing when i set the camera up and tested it.

The camera also has microphone and speaker which means you can use it as a remote security entry system and talk to visitors… or broadcast out to potential intruders that they are being monitored.

All in all, this is a really good camera and a very affordable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great picture at a very affordable price

I got this camera for keeping an eye on the garage at the rear of my house, so it’s as far away from my wifi router as it can get. I was worried that the signal wouldn’t reach as I’ve had issues with another brand of camera I’d tried previously that wasn’t as far away, but it turns out the dual antennas on this camera really do the trick!

The setup procedure is very simple, and the instructions are good. You can either connect it to your router using the supplied network cable and then change it to wifi once setup if you wish, or you can connect directly to the camera using the temporary wifi password and then change it to your usual router wifi settings.

The camera comes with a mount, screws and raw plugs to attach it where you want, you may need a drill or electric screwdriver for this part. The power cable has a UK plug and is around 3M long which gives you plenty of flexibility. The camera is also waterproof so is perfect for use as an outdoor security camera.

The picture is clear in both day & night mode and you have options in the app to setup and configure motion detection alerts which is what you want for a security camera.

The Micro SD card slot is easy to get to on the outside of the camera if you want to record and playback footage.

This is a great camera for the money and I’m really impressed with the wifi signal, even though it’s further away and through an extra couple of brick walls it still connects really quickly and reliably when you want to view the footage.

This is another great new camera from IeGeek. It is very similar and of the same high standard as the other cameras in the IeGeek range, but has a markedly better range for wifi due to the dual antenna. This is often a problem with wireless security cameras, but greatly reduced with this one.

The camera has the same great features as the others in the range which include:

    * High and Standard definition modes to suit preference
    * Excellent night vision quality
    * Weatherproof and performs well in rain
    * Records well with motion sensitivity and saves direct to SD card.
    * Choice of wireless or wired connection.
    * Can be used in conjunction with the CamHi App with others you may have installed.

Overall, I would recommend this particular camera especially if you intend to install the camera at a greater distance from the wifi.

Another excellent camera from the IeGeek range A++

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersThis is my 3rd ieGeek camera and I am very happy with they quality, never let me down. Other two is working perfect, just decided to purchase another one for blind spot. All what you need to run and install the camera is already in the box, exept sd card.
Camera’s video and sound quality are amazing what you are getting by this price. Very good and clear view and day time, and night time also. Easy to set up, just plug&play. Even if you need to open sd card slot, there are no hasle and no tools are required. Also it’s using WiFi signal, so no need other cables to be connected exept mains.
Lots of personalised options to choose from the Camhi app. I like it, no need to have few separate apps to run all cameras, because they are all in one place.
Perfect for home security, but could be used for lots of more purposes.

Looking for a great outdoor wifi camera - you found it!

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI purchased this cctv cam to keep an eye on the workshop yard outside. Got the cctv cam on Amazon prime the same day. It’s got a wire coming out of the camera. With 3 ends one is a reset button one is the power and the other is to set up with the Internet via ethernet cable. It comes with a mount and the cable too in the box. Very easy to set up. First you got to connect directly to your internet router box. And scan the QR code on the side of the cam from the app you down load. Once that is done and it’s paired. You can go WiFi settings and WiFi connection. The app is easy to use and navigate. Pictures are good and clear. The night vision pics are bright and clear. Daylight pics are colourfull and sharp. All round a great purchase very stable connection from the router to the cctv. Great product. Will buy ie geek products again.
